Two species of anglerfishes, Lophiodes insidiator(Regan, 1921) and Halieutaea fumosa Alcock 1894 that were unrecorded in Korea, were collected from the adjacent waters of Busan, Korea. These species were described and figured as first record from Korea. New korean names, Yong-Ah-Gui and Min-Bu-Chi were proposed for Lophiodes insidiator and Halieutaea fumosa.

The hepialid species, Korscheltellus lupulina (Linnaeus) is newly recorded from Korea. A female specimen of K. lupulina was collected on Jeju Island, southern Korea. This species can be distinguished by the whitish linear marking on the postmedian and dorsum of the forewing but these markings are often unseen in females. The female genitalia can be diagnosed by the semi-rounded ninth abdominal tergum, a pair of semi-rounded ninth abdominal sternum with weakly produced, semi-rounded central plate-shaped medial region, a pair of narrow band-shaped subanal plates, the short, thin ductus bursae, and the large, ball-shaped corpus bursae without a signum. Currently, there are four genera and five species of the Hepialidae distributed in Korea.

This paper aims to introduce the case of operating electronic document system and record management system as one system called i-Works at Korea Midland Power Company. i-Works combines intelligent services, such as artificial intelligence and a chatbot, as a supplementary tool for record management. As such, the preparation process and progress direction for the development of the record management system is introduced, an in-depth review of real-time transfer and utilization of the functional classification system to enhance the utilization of the current records is presented, and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence for an efficient management of the increasing number of electronic records, are established.

One specimen of the percophid fish, Pteropsaron evolans Jordan and Snyder and two specimens of the labrid fish, Xyrichtys verrens (Jordan and Evermann) were newly collected from Jeju Island of Korea. P. evolans is characterized by having one pair of spines at snout, cheek without scales, and elongated first dorsal fin in male. X. verrens is easily distinguished by having tip of pectoral fin black, many rows of scales on cheek, and an elongated pelvic fin. We describe as new to Korean fish fauna and propose new Korean names, "Sil-nun-tung-i" for the former and "Jang-mi-ok-du-nol-rae-gi" for the latter.

Based on a single specimen collected from the northern coastal waters of Jeju Island, we described Hemiramphus far as the first record from Korea. The specimen shows a elongated body with a prolonged lower jaw, 13 dorsal fin rays, 11 anal fin rays, 36 predorsal scales, and silvery white body with five black bars laterally and yellowish color on posterior part of lower jaw, tips of dorsal fin and upper caudal lobe. "Geom-mu-neui-hag-gong-chi" is proposed as a new Korean name for the species.

Based on a single specimen (207.0 mm SL) collected from the southern coastal waters of Jejudo Island, morphological characteristics of Antennarius commerson were described as the first reliable record from Korea. The species is characterized by having a globose body covered with small bifurcated spinules, three dorsal spines including a naked illicium and attached pectoral lobe, 13 dorsal fin soft rays, 8 anal fin rays, and 11 pectoral fin rays. We adopted a tentative Korean name previously suggested, "Keun-ssin-being-i", for the species.

Tong-il, the high-yielding rice variety bred on early 1970, effected a turning point in modern rice production in Korea. As rice production reached the highest record yield in 1978 with HYV, Korea achieved self-sufficiency in domestic supply of rice (or the first time in (her own) history, HYV required high input of fertilizers and pesticides for proving its yielding ability and needed new techniques such as early nursery-planting to prevent chilling damage. But, farm economy did not follow the successful achievement of rice production because of increased farming cost and inflation.'Tong-il variety has been replaced by new high-yielding Japonica varieties from 1980 when record-low-temperature during summer months had persisted. Also, the cooked rice of Tong-il variety did not agree with the appetite of Korean people. Though the hectarage of Tong-il rice did reduce, farmers applied the same high-input cultural techniques for new Japonica cultivars as did for Tong-il variety. Heavy application of nitrogen fertilizer contaminated surface and ground water with nitrate ions while phosphorous fertilizer was blamed for algae pollution. Frequent spray of pesticide and herbicide reduced significantly the biotic population in paddy ecosystems including insects and soil microorganisms. The new technologies of the 21st century must be directed to produce safe food, to save natural resources, and to preserve a clean environment for human welfare. We need low-input sustainable farming techniques to provide high-yielding crops and to preserve a healthy ecosystem.

A new species of the genus Ebrechtella Dahl, Ebrechtella juwangensis n. sp. and the male of Ozyptila geumoensis Seo and Sohn, 1997 are reported new to science. Ozyptila utotchkini Marusik, 1990 is reported for the first time in Korea. Habitus photos and illustrations of these three species are provided.

A single specimen (192 cm total length, TL) of the Pacific sleeper shark, Somniosus pacificus, belonging to the family Somniosidae, order Squaliformes, was firstly collected from the west margin of the East Sea, Korea in February 2008. This specimen was characterized by having interdorsal space, being less than the distance between the snout and first gill opening; and the distance between the snout and first dorsal fin origin more than 45% TL; head and body has overall dark brownish. The new Korean name "Jam-sang-eo-gwa" is proposed for the family Somniosidae, and "Jam-sang-eo-sok" for the genus Somniosus, and "Jat-bit-jam-sang-eo" for the species S. pacificus.

This is the first report of Fowlerichthys scriptissimus (Lophiiformes, Antennariidae) from Korea. A single specimen (291.0 mm SL) was collected off the coast of Jejudo Island by gill net on 28 March 2012 and identified with morphological and molecular approaches. The specimen is characterized by having all five pelvic fin rays bifurcate and possessing 20 vertebrae, 13 pectoral-fin rays, and a basidorsal ocellus on the side of the body. This species is distinguishable from other Korean taxa by the number of pectoral fin rays, the bifurcate form of the pelvic rays, and the vertebral count. We add this species to the Korean fish fauna and suggest new Korean names, "Byeol-ssin-beng-i-sok" and "Byeol-ssin-beng-i" for the genus and species, respectively.
