This study was conducted to identify the needs of introducing new medical specialties in oriental medicine. Three stakeholders in introducing new oriental medical specialties are oriental medical doctors, policy makers and medical consumers. Of the three, this study intended to focus on opinions of oriental medical doctors. About 1,150 self-administered questionaries were sent to the potential respondents, 320 specialists, 250 interns & residents and 580 private oriental medicine practitioners, and 480 doctors responded. The study revealed that 62% of respondents showed negative attitudes towards the introduction of new oriental medicine specialties. The private oriental medical practitioners were more likely not in favor of adding new medical boardmanship. The reasons of objection were as follows : First, it is more important to enrich the existing oriental medical boardmanship (70%). Second, the newly established specialties are most likely to be weakened(15%). The study revealed that the first and most likely specialties to be introduced was Chuna(18%), subspecialization of oriental internal medicine (15.8%), the next oriental family medicine (15.1%) and so on. And the second specialties to be desired most by the respondents were (1) cooperative medicine between the westem and oriental medicine (28%), (2) oriental preventive medicine (17.4%) and (3) oriental family medicine (16.8%). Caution must be exercised in introducing new oriental medicine specialties. The failures of western medicine in the operation of its specialist production should carefully by examined here.

We present a statistical model for the path loss of ultrawideband (UWB) channels in indoor environments. In contrast to our previously reported measurements, the data reported here are for a bandwidth of 6GHz rather than 1.25GHz; they encompass commercial buildings in addition to single-family homes (20 of each); and local spatial averaging is included. As before, the center frequency is 5.0GHz. Separate models are given for commercial and residential environments and, within each category, for lineof sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLS) paths. All four models have the same mathematical structure, differing only in their numerical parameters. The two new models (LOS and NLS) for residences closely match those derived from the previous measurements, thus affirming the stability of our path loss modeling. We find, also, that the path loss statistics for the two categories of buildings are quite similar.

The purpose of this paper was to research the history of Korean restaurants in Manhattan, NY in the 1960's-1970's. These Korean restaurants were the pioneers in the globalization of Korean food. It is assumed that 'Mi Cin' was the first Korean restaurant in Manhattan and opened on March $1^{st}$, 1960. In the 1960's, it is estimated that there were four Korean restaurants in Manhattan. In the 1970's, the number of Korean restaurants increased to more than 18, and their main menu items were divided into three types: Korean fusion menu such as 'Lunch Special' for American customers, beef barbecue menu for American and Korean customers, and Korean traditional menu for increasing Korean immigrants.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to find out how shipping company recognizes making partnership with the third party logistics provider and to give implication. Research design, data and methodology - Personal interview and questionnaire by E-mail, Fax, Mail, and telephone were used. 700 copies of the questionnaires were distributed and 155 copied were returned. Among collected questionnaires, 20 copies were excluded because of insufficient content, and therefore 135 copies were used. Results - Korea should change into new paradigm from old one based on current economic and social systems which has stemmed from bureaucracy, inflexibility chauvinism and equalitarianism. Flexible policies, administration and systems will be needed for better business practices. The Domestic logistics corporation needs to preoccupy strategic logistics hub and network. Conclusions - To be a center of North East Logistics, Korea needs more reasonable business law, systems and policies. Social norms and orders should be established to accomplish political and social security. A paradigm of the policy ruling over development of capital city and satellite cities shall make change.

The role of 3' exonuclease excision in DNA polymerization was evaluated for primer extension using inert allele specific primers with exonuclease-digestible ddNMP at their 3' termini. Efficient primer extension was observed in amplicons where the inert allele specific primers and their corresponding templates were mismatched. However, no primer-extended products were yielded by matched amplicons with inert primers. As a control, polymerase without proofreading activity failed to yield primer extended products from inert primers regardless of whether the primers and templates were matched or mismatched. These data indicated that activation was undertaken for the inert allele specific primers through mismatch proofreading. Complementary to our previously developed SNP-operated on/off switch, in which DNA polymerization only occurs in matched amplicon, this new mutation detection assay mediated by $exo^+$ DNA polymerases has immediate applications in SNP analysis independently or in combination of the two assays.

In comparison with different mass transportation systems, the streetcar is lower, both in speed and transportation capacity. However, it has the advantage of reducing the cost of construction, because it makes infrastructure simple, by using the road. It is proper in the city, where the population is few, to raise the efficiency of traffic. The convenience is high to passengers. On time accuracy and the commercial speed is influenced by operating condition. Generally that is organized into 21m degree in 6 quantity. All passengers in a streetcar are about 180 people. The maximum speed is 40~60km/h. When road traffic is considered, the speed can be reduced to 15km/h. To enhance the speed, the construction of a priority signaling system is necessary which is integrated with the road traffic operation information system. In order to develop a better Traffic Control System which is connected to a Traffic Control Center, a Priority Signaling System which incorporates Intersection Control Technics must be included.

As the silver population rapidly increased, it became more urgent to establish a scheme of the traffic safety for the old. As part of the scheme, a polity to apply 'designation of the silver zone' was legislated into law. However, the standard quoting 'the silver zone should be within 300m - radius of the relevant facility' was considered homogeneous and even limited to apply its original objective. This study was to introduce a new standard to select the silver zone reflecting the actual scale. Consequently, I hope that this study would be useful reference for further development and the approach in the research could be legislated into law for more efficient designation and operation of the silver zone.

As a result of the execution of the import liberalization and local autonomy with WTO system launching, centralized rural extension service converted to localized rural extension service. This advent of globalization and localization era affects our over all agricultural condition, moreover the duty and role of rural extension organization which take complete of rural extension, is compelled to diversified and specified technology. In this study, first we will investigate the change of agricultural, rural community, and local rural extension service in globalization and localization era. Second we will analyze the confronted problems of local rural extension service. With this study's outcome for basis, we will present new role and direction of local rural extension service which can contribute to local agricultural development.

This work presents an advanced and systematic approach to analytically design the optimal parameters of a two parameter second-order internal model control (IMC) filter that satisfies operational constraints on the output process, the manipulated variable as well as rate of change of the manipulated variable, for a first-order plus dead time (FOPDT) process. The IMC parameters are designed to minimize a control objective function composed of the weighted sum of the error between the process variable and the set point, and the rate of change of the manipulated variable, and to satisfy the desired constraints. The feasible region of the constrained IMC control parameters was graphically analyzed, as the process parameters and the constraints varied. The resulting constrained IMC control parameters were also used to find the corresponding industrial proportional-integral controller parameters of a Smith predictor structure.

The monorail system as new transportation system mostly has being constructed as an elevated construction. In particular, in case of construction to elevated structure in the center of a city, it is important to decision for a monorail station to be considered the minimization. We must purchase the required lands prior to design the monorail stations because of separation of a platform and a waiting room. So We can exclude the problem that it have too close between a monorail station and the other building. Therefore the standard width and elevation of the monorail station shall be considered the efficient execution, economic and transportation. We have many thing to resolve as the plan of minimization to the station of monorail. But we know the ultimate in environmentally friendly transportation, of course, is our monorail system and we are positive as to a popular transportation craze.
