정밀 위치결정 성능 최적화를 위한 위성항법 수신국 네트워크 구성 (Network Configuration Design of GNSS Receiving Station for Optimizing Performance of Precise Positioning)

  • In this paper, requirements of GNSS receiver station installation are derived for optimizing the performance of network based GNSS precise positioning by concern of international organization(IGS, NGS) recommendation. Also a analysis method of network based GNSS precise positioning is suggested in order to evaluate the availability depending on various network configurations. To evaluate network candidates, a performance evaluation method is proposed for positioning of users according to a geometric configuration and the baseline distance. After the proposed method is used to Ochang region that is a the test area 6 network candidates are derived and the performance of positioning was analyzed. Finally, Ansung, Gongju, Eumsung, Boeun network configuration was selected as the best positioning performance. An optimal Receiving station network was selected using the proposed method.

  • 홈 네트워크 서비스의 활성화와 이를 기반으로 한 새로운 수익 모델 발굴을 위해 홈 네트워킹 기술에 대한 표준화와 시범사업이 이루어지고 있다. 흠 네트워크 모바일 서비스는 휴대폰을 이용하여 언제 어디서나 홈 서버와 연동된 흠 게이트웨이를 통해 댁내의 정보가전과 홈 자동화 기기의 상태 확인과 제어를 가능하게 한다. 이를 위해 휴대폰의 홈 네트워크 모바일 어플리케이션은 흠 서버와 연동하여 댁내의 정보 가전과 흠 자동화 기기의 구성에 대한 설정과 변경을 확인할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 XML을 이용하여 댁내 정보가전과 홈 자동화 기기의 구성에 대한 자동 설정 방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 흠 네트워크 모바일 어플리케이션은 국내 모바일 표준 플랫폼인 WIPI를 사용하여 구현하였다.

  • ATM technology, which acts as a representative high-speed bandwidth technology, plays an important role in Internet environment. ATM network, supporting QoS(Quality of Service) and various traffic characters in high speed, configures many VPC(Virtual Path Connection)/VCC(Virtual Channel Connection). It is important to guarantee the QoS of each connection and it is necessary for the network manager to search element affecting the QoS of VPC/VCC and to control ATM network correctly. In the paper, the management information of VPC/VCC, that ATM network manager Using the fault notification for ATM switch, we can manage the configuration, fault and performance of ATM network. Thus, we extracted the configuration, fault and performance monitoring item from the ATM-MIB and SNMP M4 Network Element View MIB. And we designed the ATM network configuration, fault and performance management system based on the extracted item.

혼합 직렬형태 자동반송시스템의 설계 (Design of the Hybrid Tandem Configuration Automated Guided Vehicle Systems)

  • This paper is concerned about the hybrid tandem configuration as the design of the automated guided vehicle system(AGVs). The hybrid tandem configuration is that the manufacturing system is divided into several non-overlapping zones, workstations of each zone are linked by network configuration including loop. That is, the manufacturing system is divided into several non-overlapping small size networks, and at most two automated guided vehicles can be available in each network. The transit point is located at proper point between adjacent networks. The parts are transported to workstations in other network through the transit points. One of the objective functions in dividing into the hybrid tandem configuration is to minimize the maximum travel time of the divided networks, and other is to minimize the total travel distance of parts moved to workstations in other networks for the next processing. The model formulation is presented, and a numerical example is shown. Also, the performances of system for the hybrid tandem, tandem and network configuration are compared through the simulation. The results of this research will contribute to the development of material handling systems in the manufacturing system. Also, it will be applied in determining the transportation area of transportation vehicles and the number and size of the transportation fleet in the transportation problem of logistics management.

Configuration design of the trainset of a high-speed train using neural networks

  • Prediction of the top(service) speeds of high-speed trains and configuration design to trainset of them has been studied using the neural network system The traction system. The traction system of high-speed trains is composed of transformers, motor blocks, and traction motors of which locations and number in the trainset formation should be determine in the early stage of train conceptural design. Components of the traction system are the heaviest parts in a train so that it gives strong influence to the top speeds of high-speed trains. Prediction of the top speeds has been performed mainly with data associated with the traction system based on the frequently used neural network system-backpropagation. The neural network has been trained with the data of the high-speed trains such as TGV, ICE, and Shinkanse. Configuration design of the trainset determines the number of trains motor cars, traction motors, weights and power of trains. Configuration results from the neural network are more accurate if neural networks is trained with data of the same type of trains will be designed.

  • This paper reports on a study to increase the flexibility of previous TMDS(Train Monitoring and Diagnosis System) network communication in case of both multiple units and variable train sets. The previous TMDS network configuration has been applied using various field-BUS by the TMDS manufacturers using their own intrinsic method. But recently, there has been a demand for flexible train formations such as multiple units and variable train set formations, hence the TMDS had to be adapted to offer flexible network communication technology capability. Therefore, Hyundai-Rotem needed its intrinsic method of network configuration, and develop a network configuration method applicable to both multiple units and variable train set formations. The TMDS was integrated into the Irish Rail new Diesel Multiple Units from an early stage of the project and subsequently fully tested on a finished train.

  • Recently, FlexRay was developed to replace controller area network (CAN) protocol in chassis networking systems, to remedy the shortage of transmission capacity and unsatisfactory real-time transmission delay of conventional CAN. FlexRay network systems require correct synchronization and complex scheduling parameters. However, because platform configuration register (PCR) setting and message scheduling is complex and bothersome task, FlexRay is more difficult to implement in applications than CAN protocol. To assist a network designer for implementing FlexRay cluster, this paper presents an analysis of FlexRay platform configuration register and automatic generation program of PCR. To demonstrate the feasibility of the automatic generation program, we evaluated its performance using experimental testbed.

  • As a shipboard dependency for the safety and reliability becomes very important, the need for solid systems providing non-stop workload has been increased. This system is heartbeat that transmits shipboard state, audit and control information to the land. So, this paper describes a ship's LAN configuration method for the safety and reliability. In order to achieve these requirements, network, server and disk fault tolerance techniques are surveyed, and dual network configuration model, cluster server configuration method are presented and tested based on the survey.

네트워크 중단 최소화를 위한 On-Box 컨테이너 기반 스위치 설정 자동화 기술 (On-box Container-based Switch Configuration Automation Technology to Minimize Network Interruption)

  • This paper proposes a configuration automation technique to minimize service interruption time in the event of a corporate network access layer switch failure. The automation is achieved without the need for a separate external system, as the network setting information is stored in a container inside the switch, enabling rapid recovery without requiring separate storage. This approach ensures the continuity of network services and demonstrates the efficiency of configuration automation. The proposed technique improves corporate network stability by providing a quick response in the event of a failure.

  • IPv6 프로토콜의 주요 장점 중의 하나는 주소 자동 설정 기능이다. IPv6 호스트들은 이 기능에 의해 자동으로 네트워크 설정이 가능하지만 IPv6 라우터들은 여전히 수동으로 설정되어야 한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 여러 개의 라우터와 서브 네트워크들로 구성되는 소규모 IPv6 네트워크 상의 모든 라우터들을 자동 설정할 수 있는 새로운 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 라우터 자동설정 프로토콜은 ISP에서 할당된 IPv6 네트워크 프리픽스를 사용하여 사이트 내부의 모든 라우터들의 프리픽스와 라우팅 정보를 자동 생성하고 전달할 수 있는 기능을 가진다. 본 논문에서 제안된 라우터 자동 설정 기능 은 소규모 사무실이나 특히 홈 네트워크와 같이 전문 네트워크 관리자가 없는 IPv6사이트의 네트워크 자동 설정을 위해 많이 활용될 수 있다.
