A method of triggering a series connected complementary transister flip-flop is described. Also measurements have been made for the operation region with respect to the input pulse variation. This circuit is compared with a Eccles-Jordan flip-flop when it used as a Nixie tube driver of a neon lamp driyer.

plasma group velocities of neon with oxygen admixture (ug) are obtained by intensified charge coupled device (ICCD) camera images at fixed gate width time of 5 ns. The propagation velocities outside interelectrode region are in the order of 104 m/s.The plasma ambipolar diffusion velocities are calculated to be in the order of 102 m/s. Plasma jet is generated by all fixed sinusoidal power supply, total gas flow and repetition frequency at 3 kV, 800 sccm and 40 kHz, respectively. The amount of oxygen admixture is varied from 0 to 2.75 %. By employing one dimensional convective wave packet model, the electron temperatures in non-thermal atmospheric-pressure plasma jet are estimated to be in a range from 1.65 to 1.95 eV.

Objective : This study was designed to assess effects of He-Ne laser irradiation on high-level of Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride. Methods : The 76 patients who have been checked Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride high were divided into a study group of patient who were irradiated and into a control group of patients who did not receive irradiation.. Then, patients rechecked Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride after 1 month later. Results : In patients of study group, The level of Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride was decreased. But In comparison with control group, there was no significant effect of decrement of Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride. Conclusions : These results suggest that He-Ne laser irradiation may have no significant decrement effects on high-level of Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride.

In this paper, ozonizer of neon discharge tube type( Neolamp ) by using silent discharge has been designed and manufactured. The discharge and ozone generation characteristics of Neolamp have been studied with variation of turn-on number( N ) of Neolamp, quality( Q ) and shape of external electrode. The discharge voltage is proportional to gap spacing of spiral external electrode( G ) for constant applied volatge. The discharge current is inversely proportional to G for constant applied volatge. The ozone concentration is inversely proportional to Q and G. Also, ozone concentration and generation are proportional to N. The sterilization characteristics of Escherichia coil have been obtained more than 97[%] at $1.30[mg/{\ell}]$ of liquid ozone concentration.

산업현장에서 사용되는 대형 모터는 전기자권선의 절연내력 저하 및 과열문제 등으로 인하여 정지사고의 위험이 높고 산업재해의 규모가 크므로 넓은 장소의 확보가 필요하다. 따라서 기존 모터에 비해 소형, 경량이면서 절연내력이 뛰어난 대용량 모터가 요구되어지고 있으며 이에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어지고 있다. 초전도 모터는 기존의 발전기나 모터와 같은 회전기의 계자코일을 초전도 화하여 계자의 발생을 크게 증가시킴으로서, 기기의 효율과 출력을 높이고, 소형화 및 경량화, 안정도 향상 등의 장점을 가지고 있으므로 초전도 선재의 성능을 발휘할 수 있도록 선제의 임계온도 이하로 낮추어줄 수 있는 냉각시스템의 설계 및 해석기술이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 100HP 고온초전도 동기모터의 개념설계를 통한 계자손실 해석과 냉각시스템의 저온 열전달 해석을 수행하였다. 계자손실 해석 결과, 고온초전도 선재를 사용하게 되면 균일한 공극자속밀도가 나타남을 확인하였다. 그리고 가스네온 및 액체네온에 대한 저온 열전달 해석 결과, 고온초전도 선재의 저온 안정성을 유지하기 위해서는 액체네온 1kg/min의 유량의 사용이 적합함을 확인하였다.

노후된 철근콘크리트 항만 구조물을 보수보강하기 위한 기존의 공법 대부분은 염기침투와 균열발생을 막기 위한 목적으로 개발되었으며 슬래브나 보 하부를 섬유복합체나 섬유복합체 패널로 벽지 바르듯 빈틈없이 접착시키는 공정으로 이루어져 있다. 하지만 이런 공법들은 섬유제품의 밀폐성 때문에 항만구조물 상부에서 유입되는 빗물 등의 수분을 외부로 배출시키지 못한다. 배출되지 않은 물은 보수보강 부위를 물통역할을 하게 되어 슬래브나 보의 피복콘크리트 전체를 탈락시키는 문제를 발생케 한다. 이에 본 연구진은 선행연구에서 콘크리트 구조물 내부로 유입된 수분을 배출하는 물배출 앵커 및 트랩볼트를 개발하였다. 하지만 앵커볼트의 매입부분의 수분은 배출되지 않아 잔류수분 문제가 발생하였다. 본 연구에서는 이런 잔류수분 문제를 해결하기 위해 기 개발된 물배출 앵커 및 트랩볼트 측면에 홀을 추가로 천공하는 여러 대안을 제시하였다. 또한 보수보강 현장에서 물배출 앵커를 적용할 경우 앵커의 설계하중 적용을 위해 인장강도시험, 인발강도시험을 수행하였고, 배수성능시험을 통해 최적의 성능개선 형 물배출 앵커 및 트랩볼트를 개발하였다.

Xe content is one of important factors related to characteristics of the mercury-free flat fluorescent lamp. The electro-optical properties of lamp were investigated for wide range of Xe content in Xe-Ne mixing gas. The maximum luminance of $9,289\;cd/m^2$ and efficacy of 3 lm/W was obtained with Xe 90 %.

A newly designed micro-plasma device using SU-8 photoresist as a barrier rib has been successfully fabricated and characterized. Operating in neon gas at pressures from 300 to 800 Torr and having hexagonal structure, $5{\times}5$ arrays of micro-plasma device have been investigated. The driving voltage is lower than 250 V.
