Today's product development environment is characterized as abrupt changes in consumer needs and short lifecycle of the product, which requires manufacturing companies to be equipped with time-to-market and time-to-volume strategies as prime factors for the successful product launch on market. They especially need to bring a product to the market faster with smart methodologies that enable assembly manufacturers to efficiently simulate and manage part assembly information throughout product development process. The research in this paper provides n e-manufacturing methodology considering geometric constraints in order to decide assembly process sequences. The methodology organizies the part layout (position & orientation) in order to optimize human postures during the assembly processes. As the case studies, assembly parts for two commercial products have been generated as CAD models and analyzed for the desired solutions for part assembly sequences using the proposed methodology.

To obtain superconducting state, a reliable cryocooler system is required. Structural and thermal design have been performed to design cryocooler system operated with reverse Brayton cycle using gas neon as refrigerant. This cryocooler system consists of compressor recuperator, coldbox, control valves and has 1 ㎾ cooling capacity. Heat loss calculation was conducted for the given cryocooler system by considering the conduction and radiation through the multi-layer insulation (MLI) and high vacuum. The results can be summarized as; conduction heat loss is 7 W in valves and access port and radiation heat loss is 18 W through the surface of cryocooler. The full design specifications were discussed.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate treatment of myopia. Methods : Literature review on myopia in view of oriental and western medicine. Results & Conclusions : 1. The myopia begins from early childhood. But incidence of myopia increase as they grow older. 2. The main meridian was Bladder Meridian(Chok-taeyang), Gallbladder Meridian(Chok-soyang), Stomach Meridian(Chok-yangmyong), Governer Vessel(Dok), Lung Meridian(Shou-taeyin) in treatment of myopia. 3. Auricular Acupressure Therapy, Pig's mane Acupuncture Therapy and Plaster Therapy has good effect on myopia.

High-order harmonics from gaseous atoms driven by an intense femtosecond laser pulse can form an attosecond pulse train. By selecting suitable harmonic generation conditions, the harmonic spectrum can be broad enough to form sub-hundred attoseconds. One serious limitation, however, comes from the inherent attosecond chirp originating from the harmonic generation process. We have proposed to compensate for the positive attosecond chirp by making use of negative group delay dispersion of a metallic x-ray filter or a noble gas. We generated 241-as pulses from neon and compressed them to 106 as after propagating through argon, close to the transform-limited duration of 98 as.

We present elemental abundances of 95 blue compact dwarf galaxies (BCDs) at z=0.2~0.35 using the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) DR7. We derived element abundances using Te method. We found that nitrogen abundance of merging BCDs are more enriched than normal BCDs by fast rotating young massive star. On the other hand, neon and oxygen abundances for merging BCDs are slightly lower than the normal BCDs. This might be result from the dilution by metal-poor gas infall during the interaction. This means that merging BCDs undergone star formation event for a long time than normal BCDs and we trying to explain using STARLIGHT code and various star formation rates (SFRs) ratios. At a result, merging BCDs have older stellar population (>10 Myr) more than normal BCDs and have clear distinction in elements abundances versus Ha/UV diagram. We also discuss the characteristics of post merger candidate using FUV to NUV ratios.

사인물의 대명사인 네온사인 및 옥외용 광고 조명기기를 대체할 수 있는 LED Lighting Bar를 개발하여 옥외용 광고 시장의 시장성 확보하기 위하여, 광학설계를 통한 고휘도 LED의 선정 및 배치, 케이스 설계를 실시하고 LED모듈에 AC 220V 전원을 직접 인가할 수 있으며 효율이 높고 컴팩트한 구동회로를 설계하였다. 또한 One Chip 마이크로컨트롤러를 사용하여 RGB LED의 광색가변 및 점멸 제어회로를 설계하고, LED 모듈간에 2개의 제어선만을 연결하여 다양하고 다이나믹한 네온사인 동작(점멸, 광색가변)이 일어나도록 소프트웨어를 설계하였다. 그 결과, 설계된 LED Lighting Bar는 전체 크기가 $D150{\times}W50{\times}H50mm$로 매우 컴팩트하고 LED 배치 및 광학설계를 통하여 최대광도 70cd를 실현하였으며, LED Lighting Bar의 동작개수에 관계없고 설치가 간단하며 10개 이상의 사인 패턴 제어가 가능하였다.

Lateral epicondylitis with rupture of the radial collateral ligament of the elbow has not been reported in the literature. We report on a case of a recreational golfer who had not received steroid injection and had no trauma history. The patient was treated with open surgical repair. At 2 years follow-up, satisfactory clinical and radiological outcomes were observed with return to pre-injury level. The authors report this case and review the literature.

보행자 검출기는 보안이 필요한 곳에서 모니터링을 하거나 특정 장소를 드나드는 사람의 수를 셀 때, 운전 중 차도에 뛰어드는 사람을 감지할 때 등 상황에 따라 여러 목적으로 응용될 수 있다. 이에 따른 연구는 많이 진행되어 왔지만, 임베디드 시스템에서는 제한된 컴퓨팅 능력으로 인해 검출 속도가 느리다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력 영상에서 배경 부분을 빠르게 제거하여 검출 속도를 향상하는 방법과 ARM 아키텍처에서 NEON 병렬화 기법을 이용하여 검출 속도를 향상하는 방법을 제시한다. 제시한 방법으로 구현한 검출기는 기존보다 201.1% 향상된 속도를 나타냈다.

A 1 MW class HTS (High-Temperature Superconducting) synchronous motor has been developed. This motor is aimed to be utilized for industrial application such as large motors operating in large plants. The HTS field coil of the developed motor is cooled by way of neon thermo siphonmechanism and the stator (armature) coil is cooled by water through hollow copper conductor. This paper also describes evaluation of some electrical parameters from performance test results of our motor, which was conducted at steady state in generator mode and motor mode. Open and short circuit tests were conducted in generator mode while a 1.1 MW rated induction machine was rotating the HTS machine. Electrical parameters such as mutual inductance and synchronous inductance are deduced from these tests. Load test was done upto rating torque during motor mode and efficiency was measured at each load torque.
