전문대학 조리관련 학과의 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 직업기초능력 기반 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구도 분석 (Educational Needs Assessment for the Development of Curriculum based on Key Competencies of National Competence Standard(NCS) for Department related Culinary Arts in a 2-Year College)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess priority of educational needs for the development of curriculum based on key competencies of NCS for departments related to culinary arts in a 2-year college. In order to achieve this objective, the survey has been distributed to cooks working in hotel restaurants or restaurant companies by social network service and a total of 360 responses were analyzed excluding 18 responses. The collected surveys were analysed by using paired t-test, Borich's needs analysis and the locus for focus analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the difference between the level of importance and present level about key competencies recognized by cooks working in restaurant company was statistically significant in 9 fields of key competencies excluding mathematical competence. The difference recognized by cooks working in hotel was statistically significant in all 10 fields of key competencies. Second, the results of Borich's needs assessment showed that the education needs of problem solving competence were the highest, followed by interpersonal, resource management, communication, information competence. Finally, considering both Borich's needs assessment and the locus for focus analysis, cooks working in hotel restaurants recognized that educational needs of communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, information competence were the top priority, and cooks working in restaurant companies recognized that educational needs of communication, interpersonal, skill, resource management competence were the top priority. Therefore, it is necessary to develop curriculum for culinary arts specialists based on key competence of top priority.

호스피스 환자와 가족의 간호요구 조사 (Study on Nursing Needs for Hospice Patients and their Families)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify nursing needs for hospice patients and their families in order to establish a foundation for appropriate Korean hospice care. To achieve the purpose of this study, 1 interviewed 50 patients who were going to die within 3 or 6 months and 42 family members of these patients who were registered in Pusan National University Hospital Hospice Program. The interview was done in the patient's room using semi-dialog style questionnaire. Data collection was done from March 1, 1999 to September 30. 1999. The important results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. Nursing needs that patients and their families have experienced were classified into six nursing domains; physical, emotional, economic, educational, spiritual and postmortal care. 2. Nursing needs of hospice patients are; pain control(80%), physical comfort(72%), consideration from medical personnel(68%), provision of information(64%), best treatment(60%), help of volunteers(36%), and continuous hospital treatment(32%). 3. Nursing needs of the families are; pain-control in Patients(97.6%), best treatment(97.6%), physical comfort of patients(95.2%), continuous hospital treatment(92.8%), provision of information(80.9%), consideration from medical personnel(76.1%), expectation of recovery(66.6%), emotional support of family(61.9%), and physical comfort of family(40.4%). It is concluded that there is a real difference between the nursing needs of patients and the nursing needs of their families. Therefore we must examine and intervene for the demands of patients and their families using a holistic approach in order to meet their hospice needs.

신증후군 환아 어머니의 교육요구 및 어머니가 지각한 간호사의 교육수행 정도 (The Educational Needs of Mothers of Nephrotic Syndrome Patients and the Degree of Nurse s Educational Performances Perceived by Mothers)

  • This is descripitive study conducted to identify educational needs of mothers of nephrotic syndrome patients and tie degree of nerses' educational performances perceived by mothers who look after mainly nephrotic syndrome patients. The study subjects were composed of 74 mothers of nephrotic syndrome patients whose children were hospitalized in 2 Pediatric wards of University Hospital in Seoul and 1 in Pen from June in 1996 to Januaryin 1997. A questionaire for this study was item Kikert type 5 point scale, developed on the basis of previous literature and researcher's clinical experience and the reliability of the used instruments was α=.97. The data analysis was done by SAS. t-test, and ANOVA were done to determine the effect of general characteristics of subjects on their educational needs. Pearson correlation was done to measure relations between general characterictics of subjects and their educational needs and Stepwise Multiple Regression was done to test a variable affecting educational needs. The results were as follows. 1. Mean score of educational needs of subjects was 137.06(Maximum 176). The score of the educational needs of home care was the highes, but the question numbers(of that category) are smaller than others. So, the educational need of the diagnosis art treatment was regarded as the highest in contents. 2. The mean score of nurses' educational performances was very low, 74.91(Maximum 176). Nurse's educational performances score in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease ranked as the highest Burt that score in the care during hoapitalization was the highest in contents as the educational needs was. 3. The number of children excepting the patient (r²=.215289. p=.006) and the age of patient(r²=.23770, p=.001) were emerged as important variables affecting the degree of mother's educational need.

  • 사용자 니즈는 디자인 활동에서 매우 중요한 정보로서 활용된다. 그리고 이의 제품 디자인에서의 충실한 구현은 제품의 성공과도 밀접하게 연관되어 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 사용자 니즈는 일반적으로 마케터에 의해 수집되고, 그들의 언어로서 표현함으로써 디자이너는 이를 디자인 작업으로 신속하고 효율적으로 반영하는데 어려움을 갖게 되고, 따라서 이러한 니즈의 충실한 구현이 용이하게 이루어질 수 없게 된다. 본 연구는 바로 이러한 필요성에서 출발하게 된다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 효율적인 사용자 니즈 활용을 위한 가이드라인으로서 사용자 니즈의 디자인 정보 변환 프로세스를 개발하게 된다.

뇌졸중 환자의 식이지식 및 식이교육 요구도 관련 요인 (The Factors Associated with Dietary Knowledge and Educational Needs of Stroke Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the this study was to examine the dietary knowledge and educational needs of stroke patients and analyze the related factors that are associated with dietary knowledge and educational needs. Methods: Our study analyzed data from 146 stroke patients. The survey was conducted by individual interviews using questionnaires and data collected from participants' medical records. Dietary knowledge and educational needs were measured by tools developed by the author. Results: The mean scores for the dietary knowledge and educational needs were 19.09±3.48 and 36.17±7.18, respectively. Many stroke patients had misconceptions about soy sauce, cholesterol, and fruits. The most needed items in dietary education was first identifying foods that are beneficial or harmful, and second, food interaction with medications. As for the results of multiple regressions, dietary knowledge was significantly associated with gender, educational attainment, monthly income, exercise, body mass index, and level of compliance to dietary therapy. Additionally, the educational needs were significantly related with educational attainment and employment. Conclusion: For secondary prevention of stroke patients, education strategy considering dietary knowledge and educational needs of stroke patients should be established. Special attention is needed for stroke patients with a lower level of dietary knowledge and educational needs.

척수손상환자의 배설장애에 대한 학습요구 : 환자 대 간호사 지각 비교 (A study on learning needs about altered elimination of spinal cord injury patients : A comparison patients에 and nurses에 perceptions)

  • The purpose of this study determine and compare spinal cord injured(SCI) patients’ and nurses’ perceptions of SCI patients’ learning needs about altered elimination and then provide nursing data for more effective SCI patients’ learning process. Data collection was done from September 3 to October 2, 1993. For this study, 36 SCI Patients(12 paraplegia, 24 quadriplegia) and 20 nurses who were working neurosurgery or rehabilitation unit in 3 general hospitals in C and I city were selected. Data collection was accomplished by Questionnaire method and the instrument developed by the investigator, elicited information about learning needs about altered elimination of SCI patients from SCI patient, nurse, rehabilitation doctor, nursing professor, nursing graduate students. The questionnaire composed altered urinary elimination part with 10 categories and altered bowel elimination part with 10 categories. The results of this study were as follows : 1. There was no significant difference in learning needs about altered urinary elimination of the paraplegic SCI patients’ perceptions and nurses’ perceptions of the paraplegic SCI patients. But there was significant difference in learning needs about altered urinary elimination of the quadriplegic SCI patients and nurses’ perceptions of the quadriplegic patients(t=2.48, p=.017). 2. There was no significant difference in learning needs about altered bowel elimination of the paraplegic SCI patients’ perceptions and nurses’ perceptions of the paraplegic SCI patients. But there was significant difference in learning needs about altered bowel elimination of the quadriplegic SCI patients and nurses’ perceptions of the quadriplegic patients(t=-3.00. p=.005). 3. Degree of paraplegic SCI patients’ perceived learning needs about altered urinary elimination was 2.4083 and quadriplegic SCI patients’ perceptions were 2.0750. Degree of paraplegic SCI patients’ perceived learning needs about altered bowel elimination was 2.3972 and quadriplegic SCI patients' perceptions were 2.181.

2016 미충족의료율과 추이 (Unmet Healthcare Needs Status and Trend of Korea in 2016)

  • Unmet healthcare needs do not end with the phenomenon itself, but lead to possibilities of increased severity of illness. Missed opportunities for treatment at the right timing increase possibilities of complications, and affect prognosis of disease. To examine current status and trends of unmet needs in Korea, we used data from four sources: the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHNES, '2007-2016); the Community Health Survey (CHS '2008-2016); the Korea Health Panel Survey (KHP '2011-2014); and the Korean Welfare Panel Study (KOWEPS '2006-2016). The proportion of individual reporting unmet healthcare needs as of 2016 was 8.8% (KNHNES), 11.5% (CHS), and 12.8% (KHP, as of 2014). Annual percentage change which characterizes trend for the follow-up period was -9.9%, -3.1%, and -1.3%, respectively. The proportion of individuals reporting unmet healthcare needs due to cost was 1.8% (KNHNES), 1.5% (CHS), and 3.0% (KHP). The proportion of households reporting unmet healthcare needs due to cost was 1.0% (KOWEPS). Annual percentage change was -10.0%, -15.2%, -5.4%, and -17.5%, respectively. Low income populations had more unmet healthcare needs than high income populations. Therefore, in order to improve unmet healthcare needs, it is necessary to focus on low income populations.

투약에 대한 입원환자의 간호요구도와 만족도 (Nursing Needs and Satisfaction with Medications in Patients Admitted to Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was dont: to identify the differences nursing needs and satisfaction with medications in patients admitted to hospital. Method: The participants were 258 patients admitted for 3days or more to D hospital. The data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, t-test and ANOVA. SPSS-WIN 11.0 was used to assist analysis. Results: The results are as follow: 1. Variables effecting nursing needs were education and economic level. All scores of nursing needs were higher in the group with less than middle school education compared to those with high school education or higher. 2. The scores for nursing needs were higher than the score for satisfaction in common item and injection domains. The scores for nursing satisfaction were higher than nursing needs in the oral medication domain. 3. The item with the highest difference between the scores for nursing needs and satisfaction was 'I want to know the side effect of the drugs'. Conclusion: Patients admitted to hospital want to know the therapeutic effect, side effect and reason for their drugs. However satisfaction with medication was not equal to needs. It is necessary to emphasize clinical pharmacology in nursing education programs.

ISO 13790과 ISO 52016에 의한 월별 난방에너지 소요량 분석 (Monthly Heating Energy Needs Analysis According to ISO 13790 and ISO 52016)

  • Governments are increasing energy efficiency in buildings through various policies to reduce building energy consumption. In 2002, the European Union adopted a building energy performance guideline to set minimum efficiency standards for residential and commercial buildings. Starting in 2020, all EU member states should ensure that all buildings are Near-Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB). In Korea, the government issued a zero-energy certification system. Since 2020, public buildings are required to cover energy consumption with the energy produced in buildings. As the demand for building energy simulation has increased to increase the energy efficiency of these buildings, the International Standard Organization (ISO) has created a standard for calculating building energy requirements called ISO 13790. This standard was revised to ISO 52016 in 2017. In this research, ISO 13790, which calculates the energy needs of existing buildings, and ISO 52016, which replaces them, are compared and analyzed, and applied to the calculation of heating energy needs of buildings. For models without thermal zoning(Case A), the difference in annual heating energy needs calculated from each criterion is $1.08kWh/m^2$, which is about 2% higher in ISO 52016. In the case of the thermal zoning model(Case B), the difference in annual heating energy needs calculated by each standard was $0.97kWh/m^2$, which was about 2% higher than ISO 52016. The heating energy needs model without thermal zoning has a higher energy needs than the heating energy needs model with thermal zoning. It is about 16% energy at $8.58kWh/m^2$ for ISO 13790 and $8.69kWh/m^2$ for ISO 52016.

동료 간 토의 중심의 수학 수업에서 대학생들의 수학 학습 동기와 수학 학습 감정의 관계: 욕구를 중심으로 (Relations between undergraduates' motivations and emotions for learning mathematics in mathematics class centered on peer discussions : focusing on their needs)

  • 이 연구에서는 욕구라는 구인을 도입하여 동료 간 토의를 중심으로 한 수학 수업이라는 특정한 수학 학습 맥락 속에서 대학생들의 수학 학습 동기와 수학 학습 감정이 어떻게 일어나며, 그 둘이 어떻게 관계를 맺는지 분석하였다. 연구의 핵심 개념인 수학 학습 동기와 수학 학습 감정을 개념화하고 이를 기반으로 수학 학습 동기와 수학 학습 감정을 관찰할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 도출하여 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 수학 학습 동기는 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 일어났으며, 욕구가 충족될 때와 충족되지 않을 때 각각 긍정적인 수학 학습 감정과 부정적인 수학 학습 감정이 일어났다. 또한, 수학 학습 동기를 일어나게 한 욕구가 충족되면 긍정적인 수학 학습 감정이 일어났으며, 욕구가 충족되지 않아 부정적인 수학 학습 감정이 일어나면 그 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 수학 학습 동기가 일어났다.
