Security is crucial for the successful deployment of large distributed systems. Many of these systems provide services to people across different administrative domains. The traditional identity-based access control mechanisms are un scalable and difficult to manage. Unlike the closed systems, open systems provide services to people from different security domains. Healthcare systems need to be highly available in order for the patients to get a timely treatment. The health care information should be available to authorized users both inside the administrative domain and outside the domain, such as pharmacies and insurance companies. In this paper, we first analyzed the necessities and advantages of importing attribute-based trust-management models into open distributed systems. Then we reviewed traditional access-control models and presented the basic elements of the new trust-management model.

With existing illumination rendering system being used in domestic, internationally developed common programs are taking over the market more than 90%. However, since the programs are established with DB designed to be most suitable for their own products, accuracy in analysis and visualized image are hardly reliable. This raises the necessities of establishing DB for domestic developed products. A method of establishing artificial luminair DB, which was studied on DB establishment in consideration of optical characteristics of domestic products with using RADIANCE program was presented in this study, and it is considered as the program of simulating light movement most accurately among all rendering programs developed so far.

In the oral literature of the Mongolians such as folk-tales, legend, epics, poetry, songs, riddles etc., there are endless examples describing various stories about the origin of the costumes, ornaments and accessories, or the way how they were designed and changed with the times and how they correspond with relevant customs, public rituals and etiquette in general. In this paper we argue that every piece of the Mongolian national costumes and wear in general has specific meaning and symbolism, which is still the miraculous universe waiting to be unveiled properly. As for the Mongolians, the costumes and accessories mean the treasury of intellectual culture of their own as well as their daily necessities of life. There are still many undiscovered features of ancient national culture, apart from characteristics of various tribes and clans of the Mongolians.

The setting of the factory under this study is as the following. There are multiple assembly lines. Each line can handle any of given set of products. Furthermore each line is capable of assembling several products concurrently, i.e. mixed model assembly line. An incoming production order is characterized by its due-date, product type and quantity. Under this setting we first have to select the starting time and the place(assembly line) for an order to be processed. We also have to devise a way to control orders to be manufactured as scheduled. Finally there should be a mean to reschedule orders when something unexpected happens. This paper offers a scheme that provides the above mentioned necessities. It also provides a case where the scheme is applied.

As a new medium for knowledge diffusion, E-Journal is expected to be a general type of scholarly communication. However, the techno - economic problems have hindered the advancement of the E-Journal. For the technical aspects, there are problems such as the standardization of document format, automatization of the document preparation, forward and backward link between documents. Also there are necessities for the support of the information infrastructure of digital library and information superhighway. For the economic domain, reengineering of total publishing cycle is considered and the new paradigm of peer review is analyzed. We pointed out that the main difficulties in the diffusion of E-Journal are on the promotion of service and technological advance, not the price and marketing strategy.

To analyze reception dishes of Choson Dynasty, the author studied historic book-Youngjeob Dogam Mimiunsek Euigwae (1609, 1610 year) in which the reception dishes for Chinese envoy in Choson Dynasty were described. The rescelts obtained from this study were as follows. 1. Youngjeob Dogam Mimunsek collected food items and necessities for reception of Chinese envoy from each administrative machinery, and they included cerials, fruits, seasonings, teas, wines, tablewares, medicines, etc. 2. The guest roms for Chinese envoy were arranged with table, chest, jar, wine glass, tableware, chopstick, spoon, incenseburner, brazier, candlestick, lantern, cloth, etc.

This paper has explored when implementing SW development project of the IT service corporations, what factors affect its productivity in SW development methodology. The importance of the AHP analysis surveyed from the experts in IT service companies and related committee, was shown in the order of the following processes : 1) Deployment process 2) Management process 3) Establishment process. It is measured the methodology levels of establishment, deployment and management in each project using the survey results collected from project execution members and analyzed the productivity of projects that have been executed within 2 years. Using project methodology level, productivity correlation analysis, and regression analysis, this study confirms that the methodology deployment level brings positive effects significantly to SW development productivity. The significance of this study would be not only to research and analyze SW development productivity using the real project execution data but also to underline the necessities and the importance of steady research, deployment and support for SW development productivity improvement.

City gas is one of the most important necessities of daily city life and social infrastructures. City gas is delivered to every user through a pipeline network. The gas pressure in the pipeline is regulated by gas regulator. In the pressure control system, characteristics of gas pipeline is as important as characteristics of regulator. There are many reports about the transfer function model of the fluid pipeline. But suitable model about the gas transmission pipeline is not known. In this paper, as the transfer function model of the gas pipeline, new model considering the heat transfer between pipe wall and gas and temperature change of gas is proposed. To evaluate this model, frequency response tests are used. As the result, the proposed model shows a better agreement when compared with the experimental result than conventional models. The results show the effectiveness of the model.

This paper focuses on the necessities of interworking and dervation of the requirements of interworking system for interworking between 64 Kbps based N-ISDN (narrowband ISDN) and B-ISDN(broadband ISDN). Furthermore, the design and the implementation of IWF (interworking function) are presentd. We analyze two ISDN signalling systems, and propose the architecture of interworking system. And then we make the baisc call procedure model between N-ISDN and B-ISDN, and verify the dynamic behaviors through the reachability tree of petri net. IWF is designed and implemented for transforming the differences between the two signalling systems. The operational confirmity of th eimplemented program was confirmed by the local test method. The performance of IWF was evaluated throguh the simulation language SLAM-II. As the result of evaluation shows, we confirm that the processing delay is maintained within 3 ms under the utilization 0.9.

For limitation and interruption of short circuit currents from low voltage to extra high voltage applications, the electrical equipment including fuses and circuit breakers, are widely used today. But in order to anticipate increasing needs for effective and competitive device for limiting the growing fault current in electrical power systems, fault current limitation technologies and fault current limitation devices are widely introduced and investigated in these days. Furthermore, the applications of high temperature superconducting materials (HTSC) into the current limiting devices are new approach for developing of novel and effective col-rent limitation electrical equipment. In this research, the necessities of current limitation technology and the developed and developing current limitation devices for power systems are introduced. Finally, the investigation of resistive type fault current limiters which is under development by LG and KEPCO were introduced.
