This was aim to study the changes of components by different parts and maturity of tomato. We found that orally fed tomatine which induced a significant reduction in cholesterol in hamster in contrast to potato glycoalkaloids, the safety of tomatine was supported by our observation that pickled green tomatoes consumed widely in many countries has a high tomatine content. The tomatoes harvested during the first stage(10 days after flowering) contained tomatine $6333.49{\mu}g\;per\;100g$ and dohydrotomatine and ${\alpha}$-tomatine in a ratio of about 1:13.8. The tomatine content then decreased by about 85% during stage 2(20 days after flowering) an dehydrotomatine contene dropped to a value near zero during stage 3, 4 It on the tomatine content dropped to a value near zero during the final stage(50 days after flowering). With respect to health benefits at all stages of maturity, unripe tomato contain chlorophyll and ${\alpha}$-tomatine should consumed.
An enhancement of the c-axis differential conductance around the zero-bias voltage near the superconducting transition temperature $T_{c}$ has been observed in $Au/Bi_2$$Sr_2$$CaCu_2$$O_{8+x}$ junctions. We attribute such an enhancement to the Andreev reflection (AR) between the surface Cu-O bilayer with suppressed superconductivity and the next superconducting Cu-O bilayer. The continuous evolution of the differential conductance, from gap like depression to an AR-like peak structure, around the zero-bias voltage points to weakening of the barrier strength of the nonsuperconducting layer between adjacent Cu-O bilayers as temperature approaches $T_{c}$ from below. The peak structure disappeared just below the bulk $T_{c}$ value of underdoped Bi2212 single crystals, whereas it survived up to ~1 K above $T_{c}$ in Junctions prepared on slightly overdosed crystals. According to a recently proposed theoretical consideration, a wider temperature range of the AR a bone $T_{c}$ is expected in the underdoped regime when phase-incoherent preformed pairs emerge in the pseudogap state. Our result is in contradiction to the preformed pair scenario. scenario.o.
The hysteretic characteristics of giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) profiles have been measured in Co-based amorphous ribbon with various anisotropy angles $\theta_k$, and they have been analyzed by using the Stoner-Wohl-farth model. Two-peaks behavior with a dip near zero field is revealed in the measured GMI profile at 10 MHz irrespective of $\theta_k$. The negligible hysteresis of the field fur the dip is close to the calculation assuming the magnetization jump from a metastable to stable state. However, the hysteretic asymmetry far the angle range of $20^\circ\leq\theta_k < 60^\circ$ is well described by the divergence in the calculation without the magnetization jump. The asymmetry for $\theta_k\geq60^\circ$ may be due to the divergence, but the shapes of measured profiles are quite different from the calculations with single peak near zero field, indicating that Stoner-Wohlfarth model can be well used to describe GMI characteristics for the anisotropy angle range of $20^\circ\leq\theta_k < 60^\circ$at the frequency of 10 MHz in Co-based amorphous ribbons.
In this paper, we investigate frequency dependance of inductance of FeCoB amorphous magnetic films. $(Fe_{1-x}Co_x)_{79}Si_2B_{19}$ was used as the basic composition of amorphous magnetic film having near zero magnetostriction. The amorphous magnetic films were fabricated with x=0.94 and x=0.95 by using sputtering method at high frequency. The films were anneald under non-magnetic field and near crystallization temperatures(30min at $280^{\circ}C$, 30min and 1hr at $400^{\circ}C$, respectively). As the results of the experiments with the fabricated films, the lowest coercive force was 0.084[Oe] at 400[W] of the input power and the crystallization temperature was $360^{\circ}C$ . In the case 30min at 40$0^{\circ}C$ the inductance value in the low frequency with x=0.95 was higher by 488% than that with x=0.94. The quality factor Q was below 0.7 for all samples. We obtained the highest quality value at 400[KHz] with 30min at $280^{\circ}C$ and x=0.94. The value was about 0.62. Also, the quality factor value was about 0.35 at 1[MHz] with 30min at $280^{\circ}C$ and x=0.95.
Biodegradable microspheres were prepared with poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA, 75 : 25 by mole ratio) by an oil/oil solvent evaporation method for the sustained release of anti-AIDS virus agent, AZT The microspheres of relatively narrow size distribution (7.6$\pm$ 3.8 ㎛) were obtained by controlling the fabrication conditions. The shape of microspheres prepared was smooth and spherical. The efficiency of AZT loading into the PLGA microsphere was over 93% compared to that below 15% for microspheres by a conventional water/oil/water method. The effects of Preparation conditions on the morphology and in vitro AZT release pattern were investigated. in vitro release studies showed that different release pattern and release rates could be achieved by simply modifying factors in the fabrication conditions such as the type and amount of surfactant, initial amount of loaded drug, the temperature of solvent evaporation, and so on. PLCA microspheres prepared by 5% of initial drug loading, 1.0% (w/w) of surfactant concentration, and 25$\^{C}$ of solvent evaporation temperature were free from initial burst effect and a near-zero order sustained release was observed. Possible mechanisms of the near-zero order sustained release for our system have been proposed.
Recently, deep neural networks (DNNs) are actively used for action control so that an autonomous system, such as the robot, can perform human-like behaviors and operations. Unlike recognition tasks, the real-time operation is essential in action control, and it is too slow to use remote learning on a server communicating through a network. New learning techniques, such as reinforcement learning (RL), are needed to determine and select the correct robot behavior locally. In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient DNN processor with a LUT-based processing engine and near-zero skipper. A CNN-based facial emotion recognition and an RNN-based emotional dialogue generation model is integrated for natural HRI system and tested with the proposed processor. It supports 1b to 16b variable weight bit precision with and 57.6% and 28.5% lower energy consumption than conventional MAC arithmetic units for 1b and 16b weight precision. Also, the near-zero skipper reduces 36% of MAC operation and consumes 28% lower energy consumption for facial emotion recognition tasks. Implemented in 65nm CMOS process, the proposed processor occupies 1784×1784 um2 areas and dissipates 0.28 mW and 34.4 mW at 1fps and 30fps facial emotion recognition tasks.
For the $\beta$=1 specimen with constant thickness, Crack growth rate is smoothly increasing in the a-N curve. On the other hand for $\beta$=2 specimen with various thickness, the inflection point is observed in crack growth rate near the thickness interface. da/dN before the inflection point is increased, and da/dN after the point is decreased, compared to the $\beta$=1 specimen. da/dN near the thickness interface is approached zero. The descending point was observed earlier as $\beta$ increased. Considering the relation between da/dN and λ, the crack propagation rates for the case of $\beta$ =1 incrased almost linearly, however, the crack propagation rates for $\beta$=2,3 decreased more rapidly near the thickness interface. Additionally, the decreased point in da/dN for $\beta$=3 is farther from the thickness interface than the case for $\beta$ =2.
Windowing routines have as their purpose the reduction of the sidelobes of a spectral output of the FFT or DFT routines. Windowing routines accomplish this by forcing the beginning and end of any sequence to approach each other in value. Since they must work with any sequence they force the beginning and ending samples near zero. To make up for this reduction in power, windowing routines give extra weight to the values near the middle of the sequence. The difference between windows is the way in which they transition from the low weights near the edges to the higher weights neqr the middle of the sequence. Signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) can be determined by the ratio of the output noisy signal variance to the input noisy signal variance of a window. Standard deviation of noise is reduced by windowing. Thus, the windowing operation improved the SNR of the noisy signal. This paper shows a performance estimation of windowing on a single tone with added Gaussian noise and uniform noise.
Hydrogen combustion in modern gas-turbine engine is the cutting edge technology as carbon-free energy conversion system. Flashback of hydrogen flame, however, is inevitable and critical specially for premixed hydrogen combustion. Therefore, this experimental investigation is conducted to understand flashback phenomenon in premixed hydrogen combustion. In order to investigate flashback characteristics in premixed hydrogen (H2)/air flame, we focus on pressure conditions and nozzle shapes. In general, quenching distance reduces as pressure of combustion chamber increases, causing flashback from boundary layer near wall. The flashback regime for reference and modified candidate configurations can broadly appear with increasing combustion chamber pressure. The later one can improve flashback-resist by compensating flow velocity at wall. Also, improved wall flow velocity profile of suggested contraction nozzle prevents entire flashback but causes local flashback at nozzle exit.
