Sea operation monitoring system is a system for the automatic ship operation that is used on the variety sea operations such as laying optical cables on the sea between the countries, laying cables on the seabed for a remote island, laying pipelines for the natural gas, and so forth. This system processes data which obtained through setting up environment and input from several sensors, and display GPS information with ENC data. And this system processes not only data of route file about sea operation, but also realtime information from PDA of client wirelessly connected with AP on wireless LAN. In addition, this system can improve efficiency of the operation as a result of enabling free movement within valid range. This paper design and implementation monitoring system from above appropriate to the embedded system, and improve competitive power of ship through prevention of a ship accident, to keep minimizing operation loads and support both the automatic ship operation and the safety voyage.

In order to secure an important competitive advantage in manufacturing business, an automation and information system from manufacturing process has been introduced; however, small and medium enterprises have not met the power of information in the manufacturing fields. They have been managing the manufacturing process that is depending on the operator's experience and data written by hand, which has limits to reveal cause of defective goods clearly, in the case of happening of low-grade goods. In this study, we analyze critical factors which affect the quality of some manufacturing process in terms of 4M. We also studied the automobile parts processing of the small and medium manufacturing enterprises controlled with data written by hand so as to collect the data written by hand and to utilize sensor data in the future. Analysis results show that there is no deference in defective quantity in machines, while raw materials, production quality and task tracking have significant deference.

With the enormous growth and various applications of private brands, national brand manufacturers are confronted with a dilemmatic situation. That is, paradoxically, some manufacturers have come to produce private brands of retailers which are potential competitors to their own brands. This study reveals why manufacturers with their own brands let themselves do the consignment production of retailers' private brands although those private brands may become strong competitors of their own brands and then investigates the condition in which manufacturers may benefit from such consignment production. Through an analysis of a game theoretical model assuming a monopoly market, the present study presents the theoretical backgrounds and provides new insights about consignment production of manufacturer with its own brand for retailer's private brand. First, such consignment production can play a role in mitigating the loss in the consignee manufacturer's own brand sales caused by the private brand in the competitive environment. Second, the effectiveness of such role is affected by the quality of the private brand produced under consignment. In other word, only if the consignee manufacturer keeps the quality of the private brand low, the manufacturer can maintain the benefit from its own brand. In addition, a consigner retailer needs to consider the final objective of launching its private brand, when it chooses its consignee manufacturer of the brand. Finally, a manufacturer with its own brand may consider consignment production as not merely an unavoidable option compelled by a retailer's power but a reasonable strategic choice to reduce the risk from competition.

To achieve the socially optimum level of renewable generation, governments should design renewable policies to induce renewable technologies competitive with conventional generation technologies. And to do that, it is needed to understand how each policy has been effective in promoting renewables for power sector. In most of the literatures, there are two key limitations that they did not considered autocorrelation problem using the amount of generation from renewables as a dependent variable and technology innovation which needs to be preceded technology adoption. In this study, I try to overcome these two problems by using dynamic panel model and adding an additional variable for technology innovation. According to the result, FIT has been effective rather than RPS in promoting renewables for generation and I found the possibility that the counterintuitive results which commonly appeared in existing studies might be due to the two limitations mentioned above.

As of today-half a century has passed after 1945, the liberation from Japanese imperialism-it's significant to introspect our culture. On the one hand our culture has succeeded due to the peculiar history, but on the other hand it hasn't. So to speak, it has gained in Quantity but lost in Quality. There are keen, international competition and exchange in the modern culture. So the Qualitive success of modern design depends on if it had an original character or not. According to Korean rapid industrialization, technological extence, and economic growth, the export has increased greatly, but package design hasn't been match for them. Korean expoters have been meeting with cutthroat competition in world market. Under these circumstances it's very important that we have a real understand and interest in our culture, we strengthen the competitive power of home products with good package design. This is our age of not home market but world market. We live in an age when design wins, so that we have to develop the good design native to Korea. Many designers have proposed their opinions with the characteristic designs, but it has been only a fragmentary and passive method. We must seek for the new method more positively. The effective and proper method resolves itself into the following four points. First, to understand Korean history and culture. Second, to have the exact grip of this economic situation. Third, to promote the national emotion. Fourth, in conclusion, to accord the package design with them. We cannot put off this task to overcome the cultural subordination, to place Korea on a firm cultural basis in the world, and to contribute to the cultural exchange of package design. In this paper we introduce two experimental results from classification of Instagram images and some valuable lessons from them. We have tried some experiments for evaluating the competitive power of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) in classification of real social network images such as Instagram images. We used AlexNet and ResNet, which showed the most outstanding capabilities in ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge(ILSVRC) 2012 and 2015, respectively. And we used 240 Instagram images and 12 pre-defined categories for classifying social network images. Also, we performed fine-tuning using Inception V3 model, and compared those results. In the results of four cases of AlexNet, ResNet, Inception V3 and fine-tuned Inception V3, the Top-1 error rates were 49.58%, 40.42%, 30.42%, and 5.00%. And the Top-5 error rates were 35.42%, 25.00%, 20.83%, and 0.00% respectively.

According to the rapid development of IT technologies, between different technologies and weakness of entry barriers, standardization for interoperability and intercompatibility is being recognized as a core strategy for preoccupation of global IT market and strengthening of national competitive power. Recently IPR(Intellectual property Rights) including patents is considered indispensably in international standardization. Also advanced countries strengthen their positions through preemption of global IT market by linking their IPR with international standardization. Therefore relationship between IPR and standardization is being changed to mutually complementary from mutually exclusive. In this paper, we will examine ITU-T's IPR policy and related discussion trends in ITU-T and try to find national policy for IPR related issues.

The entrepreneurship is a key success factor of industrial development in global competitive environments. but there is no entrepreneurship index/indicator which gives comprehensive advantages for monitoring and forecasting entrepreneur environments in Korea. The purpose of the study is developing Entrepreneurship Survey Index(ESI) which considering various significant entrepreneur factors. The suggested ESI in this exploratory study consists of entrepreneurship business index(EBI), entrepreneurship environment index(EEI) and entrepreneurship preparation index(EPI). The EBI is composed of overall business factors which revised from practical studies and expert reviews. The EEI is mainly retrieved Global Entrepreneurship Monitor(GEM) and partially modified by an expert advisor to identify entrepreneur environments. The EPI is developed for evaluating and confirming the capability, plan and intention of the pre-entrepreneurship. The practical survey of using the proposed ESI will enhance the power of forecasting the entrepreneurship environment changes and provide effective entrepreneurship policy making for stakeholder.
