본 논문에서는 고정 전송율 서비스 및 가변 전송율 서비스 호들이 동적으로 네트워크에 들어와서 데이터를 전송하고, 데이터를 모두 전송하면 네트워크에서 사라지는 동적인 다중 서비스 네트워크에서, 고정 전송율 및 가변 전송율 서비스의 요구 성능을 만족하기 위한 네트워크 스위치(링크)의 성능 분석 및 설계 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 동적인 다중 서비스 네트워크의 링크를 Harkov 체인을 이용해 모델하고, QBD (Quasi-Birth-Death) 프로세스와 행렬 방정식을 이용해 가변 전송율 서비스의 호들에 할당될 전송율의 성능을 구한다. 즉, 가변 전송율 서비스의 평균 호수를 추정하고 이를 바탕으로, 호당 평균 전송율 및 평균 전송 지연 시간을 구한다. 고정 전송율 서비스의 성능은 고정 전송율 서비스 호들의 차단 확률(blocking probability)로 구해진다. 이렇게 해서 구해진 고정 전송율 및 가변 전송율 서비스의 성능을 이용해서, 고정 전송율 및 가변 전송율 서비스 호들의 요구 성능(전송율, 전송 지연 시간, 호의 차단 확률 등)을 만족하기 위한 네트워크 링크의 용량을 설계하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 방법을 데이터 및 음성(비디오)을 동시에 지원하는 네트워크 스위치의 성능 분석 및 용량 설계에 이용할 수 있다.

This paper proposes a generic security architecture designed for a multidomain and multiservice network based on programmable networks. The multiservice network allows users of an IP network to run programmable services using programmable nodes located in the architecture of the network. The programmable nodes execute codes to process active packets, which can carry user data and control information. The multiservice network model defined here considers the more pragmatic trends in programmable networks. In this scenario, new security risks that do not appear in traditional IP networks become visible. These new risks are as a result of the execution of code in the programmable nodes and the processing of the active packets. The proposed security architecture is based on symmetric cryptography in the critical process, combined with an efficient manner of distributing the symmetric keys. Another important contribution has been to scale the security architecture to a multidomain scenario in a single and efficient way.

The trend of satisfying consumer needs (payment for mobile communication, music services, cab ordering, banking products, and food delivery) on a unified online platform has shaped a digital ecosystem, an instrument creating a unified space of economic interaction. Representatives of e-commerce are major stakeholders in the development of such tools. In particular, subscription services (multiservice subscriptions) allow users to create their own ecosystems based on their personal preferences. The rate of subscription service use is growing around the world, yet understanding of the peculiarities of development of this e-commerce sphere is limited due to insufficient research.The study aims to determine the motives and barriers to the use of subscription services (multiservice subscriptions) by consumers and their relationship with consumer characteristics.Proceeding from an online survey of 200 users, the study determines the relationship between the gender and income of consumers and their use of subscription services, motives and motivators for using subscription services, and barriers to the choice of a particular subscription service. The obtained results may serve as a basis for managerial decisions in e-commerce and for improving the effectiveness of marketing solutions.

In this letter, we address the problem of resource allocation with efficiency and quality of service (QoS) support in uplink for a wireless CDMA network supporting real-time (RT) and non-realtime (NRT) communication services. For RT and NRT users, there are different QoS requirements. We introduce and describe a new scheme, namely, traffic aided uplink opportunistic scheduling (TAUOS). While guaranteeing the different QoS requirements, TAUOS exploits the channel condition to improve system throughput. In TAUOS, the cross-layer information, file size information, is used to improve fairness for NRT users. Extensive simulation results show that our scheme can achieve high system throughput in uplink wireless CDMA systems, while guaranteeing QoS requirements.

프로토콜을 설계하고 이를 구현하면 IUT가 프로토콜 규격과 일치하는지를 검증하는 적합성 시험을 수행한다. 기존의 시험열 생성 방법은 오일러 경로에 의한 방법을 사용하였으나 이 방법은 전체 경로를 다 포함하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 이 단점을 개선하여 TPT(Transition Possibility Tree)를 생성하여 확장된 테스트 커버리지를 갖는 서브투어 생성방법이 제안되었다. 이 논문에서 기존에 제안된 TPT 서브투어 생성 방법에서 시험열의 갯수가 많아진다는 단점을 보안하여 TPT 서브투어 생성 방법에서의 효과적인 시험열 선택 방법을 제안하였다. 제안 방법에 의해서 생성된 시험열도 완전한 시험 목적에 부합하지 않는다는 단점은 있으나 시험자가 선택해야 하는 시험열의 양을 최소화하는 데 그 의미가 있다.

본 논문에서는 고정 전송을 서비스와 가변 전송율 서비스를 동시에 지원하는 다중 서비스 네트워크의 성능을 분석하고 이를 설계에 이용하는 방법을 연구한다. 다중 서비스 네트워크에서 고정 전송율 서비스의 호 수는 시간에 따라 동적으로 가변하게 되는데. 이에 따가 전체 네트워크 링크의 용량중 가변 전송율 서비스가 사용가능한 대역폭 (전송율)도 시간에 따라 가변하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 가변 전송율 서비스가 사용가능한 대역폭을 Erlang 고정점 방정식과 Little의 법칙을 이용해서 구하였다. 가변 전송율 서비스의 호들에 대한 대역폭 할당은 최대-최소 공정 대역폭 할당 방법에 따라 결징되는데, 본 논문에서는 먼저 가변 전송율 서비스가 얻을 수 있는 평균 최소 전송율의 상한값을 구하고 대용량 네트워크일 경우에는 이 상한값을 얻을 수 있음을 보였다. 네트워크의 예를 통해 이러한 성능 분석 방법을 검증하였으벼, 최대-최소 공정 대역폭 할당 방법이 네트워크의 전체 수익을 최대화하지 못할 수도 있으므로, 네트워크 레벨에서의 우선 순리를 고려함으로써 네트워크의 효율을 근대화하는 방법을 제안하였다.

최근 인터넷 수요의 증가로 통신망에서 음성, 영상 및 데이터(data)를 복합적으로 지원할 수 있는 멀티서비스(multiservice)의 교환 기술이 필수적이다. 또한 망 사업자들이 여러 벤더(vendor)들로부터 최적의 장비를 선택하여 망을 구축할 수 있도록 통신 장비들의 상호 운용성을 지원하는 개방형 구조의 망 및 스위치 시스템(switch system)을 정의하는 작업이 필요하다. 페트리 넷(Petri Nets)은 시스템(system)을 분석하기 위한 도구로서, 시스템은 페트리 넷 이론에 의해 시스템의 수학적 표현인 페트리 넷으로 설계될 수 있다. CPN(Colored Petri Nets)은 페트리넷의 확장형으로서, 토근(token)에 칼라를 부여하여 다양한 특성을 지닌 시스템을 표현하기에 적합하다. Design/CPN은 CPN의 사용을 지원하는 소프트웨어 패키지(software package)이다. 본 논문에서는 개방형 멀티서비스 교환 시스템의 핵심으로 스위치와 제어기(Controller) 사이의 표준 프로토콜인 GSMP(General Switch Management Protocol) 프로토콜을 Design/CPN 으로 변환하고, 이로부터 시험열을 생성한다.

본 고에서는 차세대 통합 네트워크를 위한 프로토콜들 중 소프트스위치(MGC)와 미디어 게이트웨이를 중심으로 사용될 수 있는 BICC, SIPT, Megaco/H.248 프로토콜과 VoIP용 프로토콜인 H.323, SIP 프로토콜 등의 표준화 내용에 대해서 살펴보고 차세대 등합 네트워크로 진화하는 중간 단계에서 필수적으로 이루어져야 할 기존망들간의 연동 기술들에 대한 표준화 내용을 다루고자 한다. 그리고 마지막으로 연동기술 동향으로써 MSF(Multiservice Switching Forum)에서 주관하고 있는 장비 간 상호운용성 시험인 GMI(Global MSF Interoperability)에 대해서 기술하도록 한다.

One of the major challenges confronting a multiservice electric utility is the establishment of the right prices, for its services. The key objectives of particular pricing schemes are reasonableness of company earnings. Economic efficiency, the responsiveness of supply and of the allocation of sources to the desires of consumers, and maintenance of some degree of competition. This paper proposes a value-based pricing mechanism amenable to the current deregulation situation in electricity market allowing service differentiation. The proposed pricing mechanism can be implemented ina nodal auction model, and can also be applied to direct load control.

현재의 인터넷은 대역폭의 확대, 망 규모의 확장, 그리고 새로운 서비스의 제공이라는 과제를 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 현재의 인터넷 백본망의 과제를 해결하기 위하여 ATM 스위치를 기반으로 IP 패킷을 전달하는 ATM 망에서의 IP 스위칭 기술을 적용할 경우 고려해야 할 기술적인 과제와 그 해결 방향을 제시하고 있다. 기술적인 과제로 확장성(scalability), ATM VC 설정과 패킷 흐름과의 매핑, 트래픽 관리와 트래픽 엔지니어링의 과제, 멀티캐스트, 그리고 ATM 스위치에서 멀티서비스의 수용의 필요성에 대해서 언급하였다.
