Objective: This study aimed to investigate the feasibility of ultrafast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radiomic features derived from breast MRI for predicting the upstaging of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) diagnosed using percutaneous needle biopsy. Materials and Methods: Between August 2018 and June 2020, 95 patients with 98 DCIS lesions who underwent preoperative breast MRI, including an ultrafast sequence, and subsequent surgery were included. Four ultrafast MRI parameters were analyzed: time-to-enhancement, maximum slope (MS), area under the curve for 60 s after enhancement, and time-to-peak enhancement. One hundred and seven radiomic features were extracted for the whole tumor on the first post-contrast T1WI and T2WI using PyRadiomics. Clinicopathological characteristics, ultrafast MRI findings, and radiomic features were compared between the pure DCIS and DCIS with invasion groups. Prediction models, incorporating clinicopathological, ultrafast MRI, and radiomic features, were developed. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis and area under the curve (AUC) were used to evaluate model performance in distinguishing between the two groups using leave-one-out cross-validation. Results: Thirty-six of the 98 lesions (36.7%) were confirmed to have invasive components after surgery. Compared to the pure DCIS group, the DCIS with invasion group had a higher nuclear grade (P < 0.001), larger mean lesion size (P = 0.038), larger mean MS (P = 0.002), and different radiomic-related characteristics, including a more extensive tumor volume; higher maximum gray-level intensity; coarser, more complex, and heterogeneous texture; and a greater concentration of high gray-level intensity. No significant differences in AUCs were found between the model incorporating nuclear grade and lesion size (0.687) and the models integrating additional ultrafast MRI and radiomic features (0.680-0.732). Conclusion: High nuclear grade, larger lesion size, larger MS, and multiple radiomic features were associated with DCIS upstaging. However, the addition of MS and radiomic features to the prediction model did not significantly improve the prediction performance.

Purpose To develop models to predict programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) using CT. Materials and Methods A total of 97 patients diagnosed with SCC who underwent PD-L1 expression assay were included in this study. We performed a CT analysis of the tumors using pretreatment CT images. Multiple logistic regression models were constructed to predict PD-L1 positivity in the total patient group and in the 40 advanced-stage (≥ stage IIIB) patients. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was calculated for each model. Results For the total patient group, the AUC of the 'total significant features model' (tumor stage, tumor size, pleural nodularity, and lung metastasis) was 0.652, and that of the 'selected feature model' (pleural nodularity) was 0.556. For advanced-stage patients, the AUC of the 'selected feature model' (tumor size, pleural nodularity, pulmonary oligometastases, and absence of interstitial lung disease) was 0.897. Among these factors, pleural nodularity and pulmonary oligometastases had the highest odds ratios (8.78 and 16.35, respectively). Conclusion Our model could predict PD-L1 expression in patients with lung SCC, and pleural nodularity and pulmonary oligometastases were notable predictive CT features of PD-L1.
The aim of this analysis was to investigate the relationship between the level of safety behavior and the level of oral health behavior among Korean children. Data used in this analysis were from the 2005 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). A representative sample of 4,292 children aged from three to eleven years who completed both health interview and health behavior survey. Simple and multiple logistic regression analyses were conducted. All analyses were weighted and SAS 9.1 survey data analysis procedures were used to estimate standard errors accounting for the complex sampling design of the KNHANES. More than seventy percent of children did not keep general safety behaviors except seat on back seat in a car. About seventy five percent of children had experience of preventive oral care during last one year, but about fifty six percent of children brush their teeth twice a day. Socioeconomic status and health behaviors were significantly related in three to six old age group only (p<.05). Generally significant relationship was not found between general safety and oral health behaviors. Among Korean children, general safety and oral health behaviors might be not related each other. Education for general safety behaviors should be underlined for all children. Especially preschool-children with low socioeconomic status need to be educated for healthy behaviors.

The purpose of this study is to examine the difference in the mediating effects of relief from fatigue through sleep and perceived subjective health in the relationship between perceived stress and subjective happiness in middle school students who attempted suicide. The analysis was conducted using Path analysis, the Bootstrapping method, Phantom variable and Multiple group analysis by AMOSS using the IBM SPSS 23 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23 programs with 820 middle school students who attempted suicide in the past 12 months using the raw data of the Korea Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey (2016). In the relationship between perceived stress and perceived subjective health, the indirect effect of relief from fatigue through sleep and perceived subjective health (${\beta}=-.12$, p=.003) was statistically significant. The difference in the magnitude of the two indirect effects was found to be greater for the subjective health status than for relief from fatigue through sleep (difference = .02, p=.028) and the effects were greater for the males (${\beta}=.44$, p <.001) than for the females (${\beta}=.23$, p<.001). Based on the findings, it is necessary to develop and apply an educational program that includes the factors that contribute to improving the happiness of middle school students.
Generally, inappropriate driving conditions including geometric, traffic environmental, and driver psychological problems may be critical reasons of traffic accidents. Under this circumstance, various types of facilities have been installed to improve traffic safety by itself or as a set consisting of several other traffic safety facilities. In general, traffic accidents occur by several reasons combined rather than only a single reason, and thus the safety effect of the safety facilities cannot be simply analyzed with only a single improvement. For the study, traffic accident data on the roadway segments of interest are collected along with field survey data. For the analysis, various alternative analysis methods were evaluated in terms of assessing accident reduction from various types of traffic safety improvements. Among the alternative methods tested including simple before-and-after evaluation method, before-and-after evaluation yoked comparison, and Comparison Group (C-G) method, it was found that the C-G method is the most effective method for analyzing the traffic safety improvement effect. Adopting the C-G method, both single and multiple safety improvements were analyzed. The results from this study can potentially be applied to decide the best type of treatments to improve traffic safety as well as to measure the accident reduction effects from the treatments.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of digitized elastomeric impression materials of crown abutment, using non-contact white light scanner and virtual three-dimensional superimpositional analysis. The stone models and impressions were digitized white light scanner to create three-dimensional surface models. Stone models were used as CAD reference model (CRM). The resulting point clouds (ASC file) from digitization of impressions using converting software. Discrepancies between the points in the point clouds and CRM were measured by superimpositional software. Mean and standard deviation of values of discrepancies were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison (${\alpha}=0.05$). The mean discrepancy between the impressions for the extra-light body (XLB), light body (LB), and heavy body (HB) group were $5.10{\pm}1.45{\mu}m$, $6.30{\pm}1.87{\mu}m$, $9.80{\pm}1.52{\mu}m$, respectively. The different impression materials affected the digitization of impressions significantly (p<0.05). As a result, digitization of elastomeric impression materials on dental scanner was influenced by material sort.
Statement of problem: A difficulty in achieving a passive-fitting prosthesis can be overcome by individual crown restoation of multiple implants. But individualized crown has another difficulty in control of contact tightness and stress distribution. Purpose: This in vitro study is to evaluate the stress distribution and the magnitude in the supporting tissues around Endopore implants with different crown lengths, interproximal contact tightness, and the splinting effects. Material & methods: Three Endopore implants($4.1{\times}9mm$) were placed in the mandibular posterior edentulous area distal to the canine and photoelastic model was made with PL-2 resin(Measurements Group, Raleigh, USA). Restorations were fabricated in two crown lengths: 9, 13 mm. For non-splinted restorations, individual crowns were fabricated on three custom-milled titanium abutments. After the units were cemented, 4 levels of interproximal contact tightness were evaluated: open, ideal($8{\mu}m$ shim stock drags without tearing), medium($40{\mu}m$), and heavy($80{\mu}m$). For splinted restorations, 3-unit fixed partial dentures were fabricated. This study was examined under simulated non-loaded and loaded conditions(6.8 kg). Photoelastic stress analysis was carried out to measure the fringe order around the implant supporting structure. Results: 1. When restorations were not splinted, the more interproximal contact tightness was increased among the three implants, the more stress was shown in the cervical region of each implant. When crown length was increased, stresses tended to increase in the apex of implants but there were little differences in stress fringes. 2. When nonsplinted restorations were loaded on the first or third implant, stresses were increased in the apex and cervical region of loaded implant. Regardless of interproximal contact tightness level, stresses were not distributed among the three implants. But with tighter interproximal contact, stresses were increased in the cervical region of loaded first or third implant. 3. When the nonsplinted restorations were not loaded, there were little stresses on the supporting structure of implants, but low level stresses were shown in the splinted restorations even after sectioning and soldering. 4. With splinted restorations, there were little differences in stresses between different crown lengths. When splinted restorations were loaded, stresses were increased slightly on the loaded implant, but relatively even stress distribution occurred among the three implants. Conclusions: Splinting the crowns of adjacent implants is recommended for Endopore implants under the overloading situation.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect that the job stress of employees would have on the organization effectiveness. In this study, 222 employees in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were surveyed from March to May, 2015 through empirical research with the structured questionnaires, and the collected data were statistically computerized under a statistical package of SPSS 18.0 and analyzed based on the correlation analysis, frequency analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The Following results were derived. First, the job stress of employees according to demographic characteristics had a significance difference. The technical employees had the lower role ambiguity of job stress compare to other group and the higher the income years and educational background, the higher the role overload of job stress. Second, the job stress of employees had a negative effect on the job satisfaction and Organization effectiveness but a positive effect on the turnover intention and the hypothesis was adopted. Thus, it turned out that the job stress of employees had a significant effect on the organization effectiveness and there was a significance at the statistical level. Based on this research finding, it is considered necessary to seek the specific measures that can help reduce the turnover rate of employees and improve their job satisfaction and organization commitment in a more effective methods.
Benzidine Industry in Korea has started after Japan has banned its production in early 1970's, and it has been in operation in Korea for over 20 years. However, it is not known yet whether any bladder cancer has developed from benzidine exposure. This study was done to screen benzidine-exposed workers for bladder cancer, and to examine the feasibility of employing screening test at the workplace. All the workplaces that manufacture or use benzidine for more than 20 years in Korea have been covered in this study, and they include 2 benzidine manufacturing factories, 5 benzidine using factories, as well as 2 benzidine free factories as an outside control. In total, 516 workers were screened with urine stick test and urine cytology test for the evidence of hematuria and abnormal urothelial cells. Each worker was also asked about risk factors and symptoms of bladder cancer including past medical history, smoking, medication and occupational history Benzidine in the air was measured by personal and area sampling. Out of 516 screened workers, 84(16.3%) workers showed positive hematuria in urine stick test, and 7(1.4%) workers showed degenerative cells in urine cytology tests. Those workers with abnormal urine test results who have been exposed to benzidine fo more than 10 years were further screened, and, in total, 23 workers were examined with intra-venous pyelography and cystoscopy. None of those screened had any evidence of bladder cancer When workers with only past hematuria history were included in the positive hematuria group, 96(18.5%) had positive hematuria. On the multiple logistic regression analysis, positive hematuria was significantly associated with benzidine exposure, history of other occupations with elevated bladder cancer risk, pyuria and glycosuria. The association got stronger as direct benzidine exposure was accounted through individual task analysis, and as exposure duration was accounted with tenure analysis. For those with benzidine exposure with more than 10 years of tenure, the odds of having positive hematuria was elevated 2.14(95%C.I is 1.08 to 4.25) times more than for those without exposure. Even though bladder cancer was not detected for several limitations including short observation period, majority of studied workers with short latency, healthy worker effect, and low sensitivity of single screening test in a cross-sectional study, the study results suggest that hematuria screening is a feasible and very useful test for bladder cancer screening among benzidine exposed workers.
Digital accessibility of the middle-aged and elderly has been increasing at a faster pace than other groups such as the handicapped and adolescents. However, studies related to the digital accessibility of middle and older adults are scarce. In order to examine variables affecting accessibility to digital information of the middle-aged and elderly people, this study researches the impacts of sociodemographic, physical and mental health and social activity variables on the accessibility of digital information. We analyzed data of 1,661 people between the ages of 55 and 84 from the 2018 Status Survey on Digital Divide conducted by the National Information Society Agency. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the higher education, economic, and life satisfaction levels are, the higher digital accessibility levels of both male and female are. The result of the analysis also shows that the aged male has a higher accessibility level when he does not live alone; meanwhile, the aged female has higher digital capability as her age is lower, which describes that there are differences between gender. We expect the result of this study to be used as an important reference to understand factors related to digital accessibility level and active intervention for improving digital accessibility of the middle-aged and elderly male and female.
