This study examine the mediating role of teacher-child relationships on children's effortful control and problem behaviors. Boys and girls were analyzed separately. Participants were 221 children(l21 boys, 100 girls; aged 4-5), their mothers and 19 child care teachers. The teachers completed rating scales to measure the perception of teacher-child relationships and the children's problem behaviors. Children's effortful control was rated by the mother's questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlations, and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results indicated that children's effortful control was negatively related to their problem behaviors. In addition, the associations between children's effortful control and their aggressive behaviors were mediated by conflictual teacher-child relationship. Also, the relation of girl's effortful control and her withdrawal behavior was partially mediated by conflictual teacher-child relationship. Finally, the association between boy's effortful control and his withdrawal behavior was mediated by close teacher-child relationship. Results suggest the importance of teacher-child relationships in the context of intervention planning for preschooler's problem behaviors.
Purpose: Gamma knife radiosurgery (GKR) requires frame positioning because the treatment target should be as close as possible to the center of the frame. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of pin-fixing (PFP) and removal pain (PRP), and the associated factors with the pain undergoing GKR. Methods: A total of 116 patients who underwent GKR for their brain tumor were recruited from C University hospital located in H city, J province. The level of pain was measured by the 10 cm VAS. Results: The level of PFP and PRP were 6.36 and 3.26 points, respectively. Step-wise multiple regressions found that the group who have not perceived numbness after applying 5% EMLA cream was the highest associated factor with PFP, following the time from lidocaine injection to pin-fixation, which explained 21% of total variance of the level of PFP. On the other hand, a group who did not perceive numbness after applying 10% lidocaine spray was the highest factor with PRP, among female patients, which explained 27% of total variance of the level of PRP. Conclusion: Both of PFP and PRP of the stereotactic frame were moderate so that nurses should consider diverse strategies to reduce pain among patients undergoing gamma knife radiosurgery.

This study has been attempted to find that factors for successful six-sigma implementation influence non-financial performance & financial performance in korean finance industry. In addition, goal of this study is to find out core factor in korean finance industry. To achieve the aim of this study, a document study and interview and an empirical analysis were performed. The collected questionnaires for the empirical analysis were processed statistically through data cording. Cronbach'a was conducted to get the construct reliability. To identify which factors for successful six-sigma implementation influence performances of six-sigma implementation, factor analysis was conducted to get the construct validity. After factor analysis, multiple regressions were utilized to identify the core factors (or factors for successful six-sigma implementation). The result of the study that has been derived through this process is summarized below. Firstly, by analyzing the effect factors for successful six-sigma implementation has on non-financial performance of finance industry, it shows that Process-integration & standardization variable has influenced. Secondly, by analyzing the effect factors for successful six-sigma implementation has on financial performance of finance industry, it shows that 'Process-integration & standardization' variables and 'Customer & Market mind' variables have influenced. The results of this study show that 'Process-integration & standardization' and 'Customer & Market mind' are core factors to influence non-financial performance & financial performance in korean finance industry
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of family resilience, gratitude, and child-rearing attitude and to identify predicting factors of family resilience among mothers of young children. A correlative research design was be used for this study with self-administered questionnaires. The subjects were 248 mothers of young children from kindergarten located in Jeonnam and Gwangju provinces in Korea. Data were collected between May to June, 2013. Descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regressions with PASW Statistics 18 (SPSS 18.0) program were used for data analysis. The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) Family resilience was closely related to gratitude and four types of child-rearing attitudes. Gratitude was closely related to four types of child-rearing attitudes. And rejective attitude had significantly negative relations family resilience and gratitude. (2) The significant factors affecting family resilience were mother's education level, gratitude, affective attitude, rejective attitude, autonomous attitude and controlling attitude which explained 63% of the variance. The results indicate that gratitude and child-rearing attitude were significant factors associated with family resilience among mothers of young children. In order to increase the family resilience among mothers of young children, family programs that deal with both gratitude and child-rearing attitude should be designed.
This study examined the moderating role of teacher-child relationship on the relation between children's problem behavior and peer victimization. Participants were 198 children(97 boys, 101 girls; recruited from classes with 5-6 year olds) and their kindergarten teachers. The teachers completed the rating scales to measure the children's peer victimization, problem behavior and teacher-child relationship. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlations, and hierarchical multiple regressions. Boys and girls were analyzed separately. Results showed that children's problem behavior had positive relation to their peer victimization. Teacher-child relationship significantly related to children's peer victimization. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the interaction of boys' withdrawal behavior and teacher-child closeness predicted boy's peer victimization. Boys' withdrawal behavior, whose teachers demonstrated the lowest level of teacher-child closeness, associated significantly with their peer victimization. Boys' withdrawal and aggressive behavior had significant relation to their peer victimization, especially for the highest level of teacher-child conflictual relationship. Findings suggested the importance of teacher-child relationship in the context of intervention planning for peer victimization.
Purpose - This paper aims to measure the overall satisfaction of online grocery shopping and identify the quality components of online grocery delivery service. Furthermore, we examine the relationship between service quality, customer loyalty, customer satisfaction and intention of repurchase. Research design, data, and methodology - To test hypotheses, data was collected using questionnaires from online grocery shopping customers living in Korean local regions (Daejeon, Cheonan, Sejong). Quantitative research is applied using confirmative factor analysis and multiple linear regressions. Results - On the whole, customers are satisfied with the online grocery shopping. We found that convenience and reliability of grocery delivery service have a positive effect on the customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, we found that customer satisfaction has a mediating effect between convenience, reliability and customer loyalty. However, responsiveness of grocery delivery service does not have a positive effect on the customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Conclusions - Since the quality of groceries are very sensitive to time and difficult to standardize, we need to analyze the quality components of delivery service unlike other commodities and find relationships with customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and repurchase intention. The results of research will contribute to providing satisfactory service and capturing loyal customers in retail industry.
Purpose - This study aims to determine the effects of marketing factors on the long-term purchasing behavior regarding industrial goods, using data from wholesalers and retailers. Research design, data, and methodology - We used multiple regression analysis and 3-step regressions to investigate causality. We used 177 questionnaires targeting wholesalers and retailers of industrial goods. Results - First, long-term purchasing behavior is positively related only with advertising and marketing factors. Second, the relationship between marketing factors and brand value show that the physical environment, word-of-mouth advertising, and publicity are positively related, except advertising and sales promotion, respectively. Third, brand value and long-term purchasing behavior are positively related. Finally, brand value is not a mediator between marketing factors and long-term purchasing behavior. Conclusion - This study suggests that industrial goods providers should use marketing strategies that are different from those used in the consumer market. Further, if they want to maintain long-term relationships, they should increase their brand value.
The purposes of this study were to explore the gender differences in children's social competence, emotional regulation and maternal parenting behaviors, and to investigate differences between boys and girls in the interrelationships between these kinds of variables. The participants were 214 children in 4 to 6 grades and their teachers from one elementary school in Seoul. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regressions. The results were as follows: There were statistically significant gender differences in the children's social competence, emotional regulation and maternal parenting behaviors. Children's negative emotion explained boys' and girls' peer social skills, frustration tolerance, and task orientation. Children's positive emotion regulation explained boys' and girls' peer social skills, assertive social skills, and task orientation. Boys, who perceived less maternal supervision, displayed less assertive social skills and task orientation.
The purpose of this research was to device thermal comfort model for radiation power plant workers in protective clothing. Three fabrics commonly used in protective workwear were made into coveralls of identical design and were evaluated by adult healthy males in four simulated work environment. It was investigated between the physiological response and subjects comfort according to environmental variance and clothing types. The of simulated work enviro mensent was controlled under four different humidity and temperature of each type. (Temperature 20±1℃, RH 40∼70%±5%, Temperature 30±1℃, RH 40∼70%±5%) An index of physiological response was connected with the thermal comfort designed. Mean skin temperature, skim temperature, Axillasy temperature ear canal temperature, clothing climate, total sweat, blood pressure, and R-R interval were be evaluated. Skin temperature difference ocurring during exercise and rest were significant only with respect to time and regions of the body, This despite physical differences in the three coveralls, particulary mass statistically experiment. Also, an index of subject wearing sensation was designed for thermal comfort after investigation determined the kind of clothes and the type of environment. As a result of this research, two types of multiple regressions was deviced to estimate thermal comfort of the protective clothing.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences housing needs between Korean and Japanese employed wives. Subjects consisted of 90 Korean employed and 141 Japanese employed wives who have children aged between 0-12 years old. The subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire specifically developed for this study to evaluate the housing needs of this growing segment of population. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, x$^2$-test, multiple linear regressions are presented. The findings were as follows: 1) Korean employed wives depend on grandparents and relatives in their child-care and housework when the wives were out. On the contrary, Japanese employed wives put much more values on aid of their husband and community facilities fur child-care and housework. 2) The housing community needs showed significant differences. Korean employed wives wanted to provide a better physical environment for child-care and education of children more than Japanese employed wives. But Japanese employed wives needed more convenient community facilities that could be socialized housework than Korean employed wives. 3) Korean employed wives wanted gathered apartment house, and Japanese employed wives wanted row house. In comparison of working space needs in individual house, Korean employed wives wanted dining kitchen filled with many kinds of electric appliance including laundry space more, Japanese employed wives wanted LDK type which they have family interaction more and to depart laundry space from kitchen.
