1990년대에 급속한 정보화 사회와 디지털 사회가 진행되면서, 디자인 분야에서도 디자인 조직과 프로세스, 정보교환의 방식이 변화하고 있는데, 이러한 변화의 근본적인 원인인 정보화와 디지털 사회에 대해 이론적 배경과 원리를 알아보고, 디자인 개발 프로세스의 사례를 살펴봄으로써 미래의 디자인 정보 시스템의 기본 환경을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문은 그름 멤버들간의 안전한 통신을 위한 그룹키 관리(Group key management)에 대한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 선형 셀룰러 오토마타를 이용해서 생성된 involution 특성을 갖는 기본 암호 프리미티브를 이용하여 비밀 공유키를 생성한다. 제안된 방식은 공모에 대한 위협을 근본적으로 방지할 수 있는 특징을 가지고 있다.

Layered structure of the Korean terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (TDMB) transmission system for multimedia broadcasting service is presented in this paper. We made a switching module which is called the Ensemble Remultiplexer. It is designed to remultiplex the Ensemble Transport Interface (ETI) for T-DMB service. This paper describes the remultiplexing process of the Ensemble Remultiplexer.

KORTASAT-III is planning to provide Ka-band broadband communication service, including eastsouth Asia area. In this paper, we calculate the link budget for Ka-band KOREASAT-III multimedia service and describe the performance of multimedia services according to link design parameters. There are Trunk service, Television receive only service, Two-way point-to-multipoint service, Tele-education service in the service scenario.

In recent years, significant advances in computers and communication technologies have made multimedia services feasible. As a result, various queuing models and cost models on architecture and data placement for multimedia server have been proposed. However, these analytical techniques use only probabilistic models to represent the behavior of a system, and then they have several limitations like accuracy. Simulation is a viable alternative to analytical model. It avoids many of the limitations associated with analytical techniques, allowing for more precise representation of system attributes like workload in program code. In this paper, we propose a simulation test bed that can evaluate performance of real-time multimedia server by using simulation model.

According to the development of mobile communications, the future mobile communication systems are expected to provide high quality multimedia service to users. Therefore, many technical factors we needed in these systems. Especially the confidentiality and the security would be obtained through the introduction of the security for mobile communications. In this paper, we propose an efficient Proxy-Signcryption scheme, which can be performed digital signature and encryption by using the proxy agent who has more computational power under mobile communications environment. The proposed scheme provides non-repudiation and prevents creating illegal signature by the origin and proxy agent in a phase of proxy signature processing. This scheme also keeps the confidentiality and the security in mobile communication by means of confirming the signature by right receiver.
