로봇 축구 대회를 위한 마이크로 로봇 시스템의 개발 (The development of a micro robot system for robot soccer game)

  • In this paper we present the multi-agent robot system developed for participating in micro robot soccer tournament. The multi-agent robot system consists of micro robot, a vision system, a host computer and a communication module. Mcro robot are equipped with two mini DC motors with encoders and gearboxes, a R/F receiver, a CPU and infrared sensors for obstacle detection. A vision system is used to recognize the position of the ball and opponent robots, position and orientation of our robots. The vision system is composed of a color CCD camera and a vision processing unit. Host computer is a Pentium PC, and it receives information from the vision system, generates commands for each robot using a robot management algorithm and transmits commands to the robots by the R/F communication module. And in order to achieve a given mission in micro robot soccer game, cooperative behaviors by robots are essential. Cooperative work between individual agents is achieved by the command of host computer.

  • 만성질환자가 증가함에 따라서 유헬스 서비스는 특정 질병의 치료 및 관리에서 서비스 대상자에 대한 행동수정기반의 예방서비스로 진화하고 있다. 기존의 유헬스 서비스는 원격진료나 상담을 통한 서비스나 생체정보의 모니터링만을 제공하여 대사증후군 등 만성질환자를 예방하거나 관리하는 것에는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 만성질환자의 건강관리를 위한 멀티플랫폼 기반의 유헬스 서비스 모델를 제안한다. 멀티플랫폼 기반의 유헬스 서비스는 PC와 스마트폰을 통하여 사용자의 위치와 제한없이 지속적으로 건강 정보 및 식이, 운동에 대한 서비스가 가능하다. 또한 임상정보를 바탕으로 CDS(Clinical Decision Support) 모듈을 활용한 처방 서비스를 의사와 간호사에게 제공한다. 의사는 행동수정 프로그램을 통해 서비스 대상자의 생활패턴을 파악하고 맞춤화된 서비스의 제공이 가능하다. 본 유헬스 서비스 모델은 서비스 대상자에게 멀티플랫폼 환경에서 효과적인 서비스를 제공하여 만성질환자의 건강증진에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The importance of training for NC, CNC and Machining Center has been greatly increased. This paper presents implementation of a DNC system and operating software for educational purpose. This system is able to connect 8-32 CNCs to Control PC with RS232 multi-port serial card. Therefore, it allows much efficiency in training even after costs are considered. The KISCO DNC S/W for above system includes various communication function, communication parameter setting, program editor, tool management and user-friendly environment.

  • 본 논문은 원격 공동 실험을 위한 플랫폼인 PCS(Platform for Collaborative System) 개발에 관한 연구이다. PCS는 특정 응용 분야를 목적으로 하지 않고, 모든 분야의 공동 실험 시스템을 개발할 수 있는 범용의 공동 실험 플랫폼이다. PCS는 공동 실험에 필요한 객체인 통신, 세션, 사용자, 어플리케이션, 미디어, 메시지 객체와 이들에 대한 관리 메커니즘 함수를 가진 관리 객체로 구성된다. 관리 객체는 공동 실험 객체와 이들을 관리하는 오퍼레이션으로 구성되며, 관리 객체 사이의 상호작용을 통하여 제어정보 및 데이타를 처리한다. 또한, PCS는 공동 실험을 위한 어플리케이션 공유 기술을 통하여 단일 사용자 어플리케이션을 다중 사용자 어플리케이션으로 활용할 수 있도록 하고, 공유 어플리케이션을 통한 원격기기 제어 기능을 제공한다. PCS 플랫폼은 원격 공동 실험을 위한 환경을 제공하며, 여러 공동 실험 시스템의 하부 구조로 사용될 수 있다.

다문화가정 초등학생의 부모에 대한 애착관계가 분노와 분노표현에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Parental Attachment of Elementary School Students' Perception on Anger and Anger Expressions of Children in Multi-cultural Families)

  • Objectives: The study has a purpose of contributing to understanding children of multi-cultural families and healthy development of children by examining influences of parental attachment perceived by the children on their anger trait and anger expressions. Methods: The data were collected from 113 students in grade 4~6, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, pearson correlation coefficient by the SPSS/PC 18.0 program. Results: The result showed the stable attachment with parents significantly influences children's anger and expression(anger out/control). And mother's attachment was significantly stronger than father's attachment, especially mutual trust and communication. Father's attachment had significantly negative influences state-trait anger and anger out/in, and mother's attachment had significantly negative influences state-trait anger and anger out. Actually father's attachment had stronger influences children's anger and anger expression. Conclusions: There was relationship between father's attachment and anger trait/ expression by children of multi-cultural families. For the effective management of multi-cultural children's anger, programs focusing on improving father-child relationships need to be established.

Design and Implementation of PC-based hospital-integrated PACS in Seoul National University Hospital

  • The SNUH has started a PACS project with three main goals : to develop a fully hospital-integrated PACS, to develop a cost effective PACS using open systems architecture, and to extend PACS' role to the advanced application such as image guided surgery, multi-media assisted education and research. In order to achieve these goals, we have designed a PACS architecture which takes advantages of client-server computing, high speed communication network, computing power of up-to-date high-end PC, and advanced image compression method. We have installed ATM based communication network in radiology department and in-patient wards, and implemented DICOM compliant acquisition modules, image storage and management servers, and high resolution display workstations based on high-end PC and Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT operating systems. The SNUH PACS is in partial scale operation now, and will be expanded to full scale by the end of 1998.

User Experience and the Multi-Stage Adoption of Mobile Apps

  • The adoption of technology has always been of interest to academicians and practitioners of the field of Management Information System. This is so because without proper and adequate adoption, technology-no matter how beneficial or advanced it may be-will be of little value to users. Numerous researches, such as the researches of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) or the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), had been conducted to understand the human nature in association with the adoption or rejection of technologies that have bombarded the users. The coming of smart technologies (i.e., smart phones and devices), however, seems to have fundamentally changed the environment for adoption. The ubiquity combined with mobility of technology, especially when it comes to mobile apps, seem to make the old PC era of two-stage-pre and post-adoption models obsolete. A new model of adoption that identifies the determinants of technology acceptance and continuance is needed for the smart age. To this end, this paper undertakes an empirical study, by analyzing 229 users of Social Networking Service (SNS) mobile apps, to identify the role of user experience on the multi-stage adoption of technology, and provides results that User Experience (UX) plays the crucial role of bridging the separate stages of pre and post adoption of technologies. The paper concludes by providing practical implications of the new model as it relates to mobile apps and technologies, and recommendations for further studies to get a better understanding of technology adoption in the smart age.

  • 자동화된 건강관리 모니터링은 많은 시간이 소요되고, 많은 문제들이 발생할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 정시에 환자들의 건강 상태에 대한 모니터링 정보를 제공받기 어렵기 때문이다 이 논문에서는 임베디드된 건강 관리 서비스가 iSCSI 프로토콜에 의해 제안된다. 이 프로토콜은 자동화된 멀티에이전트와 제한된 자원의 디바이스들(예. PD4 스마트폰, 테블릿PC)의 협력체계에 기반을 두고 있다. 이 둘의 협력체계는 쌍방향 iSCSI 프로토콜에 의해 유지된다. 자동화된 건강관리 제어는 반복되는 방식에서 매우 유용할 수 있다. 완전 집중화된 제어에서는 이 방법이 적용될 수 없다.

MF-TDMA 광대역 위성시스템을 위한 QoS 기반 최적 타임슬롯 할당 체계 (QoS-based Optimal Timeslot Allocation for MF-TDMA Broadband Satellite Systems)

  • In this paper, we consider broadband satellite systems using MF-TDMA(Multi-Frequency Time Division Multiple Access) scheme. First, we analyze return link, superframe structure, and QoS( Quality of Service) parameters in broadband satellite systems, and mathematically formulate the QoS-based optimal timeslot allocation problem as a nonlinear integer programming problem for broadband satellite systems with clear-sky and rain-fade satellite terminals, and multiple data classes. Next, we modify the proposed problem to solve it within in a fast time, and suggest the QoS-based optimal timeslot allocation scheme. Extensive simulation results show that the proposed scheme finds an optimal solution or a near optimal solution within 5ms at Pentium IV PC.

인공지능 개념을 이용한 공장 설비배치 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Facility Layout Design Algorithm Based on Artificial Intelligence Concept)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a facility layout design algorithm based on artificial intelligence concept, and then to develop a computer program which is more practical than any other conventional facility layout design systems. The algorithm is composed of five step layout procedures; knowledge and data input, knowledge interpretation, priority determination, inference of layout design, and evaluation, In the step of priority determination, the algorithm is divided into single row and multi row layout problem. In the step of inference of layout design, alternatives are generated by constraints-directed reasoning and depth first search method based on artificial intelligence concept. Alternatives are evaluated by the moving cost and relationship value by interactive man-machine interface in the step of evaluation. As a case study, analytical considerations over conventional programs such as CRAFT and CORELAP was investigated and compared with algorithm propsed in this study. The proposed algorithm in this study will give useful practical tool for layout planner. The computer progran was written in C language for IBM PC-AT.
