다중 해상도 모델 기반 워게임 체계에서 해상도별 모의 객체의 정보 획득 (Information Acquisition of Simulation Objects by Resolution in Multi-resolution Model based War Game)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 해상도 모델 기반 워게임 체계에서 빈번히 실행되어 모의 성능에 영향을 미치는 적군의 객체 정보를 해상도별로 획득하는 방안을 제안한다. 정보 요청법은 다중 해상도 모델이 특정 해상도의 정보를 선별하여 외부 객체에게 제공한다. 정보 공지법은 다중 해상도 모델이 모든 정보를 공지하고, 외부 객체가 특정 해상도의 정보를 선별하여 획득한다. 정보 공유법은 외부 객체가 공유 공간에 취합된 다중 해상도 모델의 모든 정보를 조회하여 특정 해상도의 정보를 획득한다. 제안 방법들에 대한 모의실험 결과, 정보 공유법이 정보 요청법과 정보 공지법에 비해 정보 획득 시간이 빨라 효과적인 방법임을 확인하였다. 또한 본 제안은 워게임에서 적군의 정보 획득 시간을 단축할 수 있어 워게임 운영 효율 증대 효과가 있다.

  • 최근 개인화된 미디어의 출현과 더불어 방송통신 미디어 분야에서 개인별 맞춤형 방송 서비스에 대한 관심과 지원이 빠르게 확산되는 추세다. 특히, 다중 카메라를 이용한 관심 인물에 대한 다각도 영상과 같은 차별화된 영상을 제공하려는 수요가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 객체 중심의 영상을 생성하기 위한 관련 기술의 발전 및 수요 변화에 발맞춰 본고에서는 관련 기술의 개요 및 연구동향을 살펴보고, ETRI에서 개발 중인 객체 추적 기반의 다중 Pan-Tilt-Zoom(PTZ) 카메라 제어를 통한 객체 중심 다각도 영상 획득 기술을 소개하고자 한다.

THE LATEST RESULTS FROM SUBARU TELESCOPE

  • The latest scientific highlights obtained with the Subaru telescope are given together with its current status and on-going instrumentation. We have been successfully operating the telescope and 8 observatory instruments (including an adaptive optics system) since January 1999, when the first light was accomplished. Open-use of Subaru began in December 2000. Subaru has a unique capability of its prime focus among other 8-10 meter class telescopes and has an excellent imaging performance as a result of its sophisticated active optics combined with the high stability of the sky at Mauna Kea. Scientific highlights are given on the discoveries of the most distant galaxies, spiral structure on a protoplanetary disk around AB Aur, and planetesimal belts in the debris disk around $\beta$ Pic. Brief summaries are given for three new instruments: the Multi-Object Infrared Camera and Spectrograph (MOIRCS), 188 element adaptive optics system, and Fiber Multi-Object Spectrograph (FMOS)

HOG 특징과 다중 프레임 연산을 이용한 보행자 탐지 (Pedestrian Detection using HOG Feature and Multi-Frame Operation)

  • A large number of vision applications rely on matching keypoints across images. Pedestrian detection is under constant pressure to increase both its quality and speed. Such progress allows for new application. A higher speed enables its inclusion into large systems with extensive subsequent processing, and its deployment in computationally constrained scenarios. In this paper, we focus on improving the speed of pedestrian detection using HOG(histogram of oriented gradient) and multi frame operation which is robust to illumination changes in cluttering images. The result of our simulation indicates that the detection rate and speed of the proposed method is much faster than that of conventional HOG and differential images.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 문화 컨텐츠인 WebToon 의 단순한 표현력을 보완하고 정적인 카툰이 아닌 동적인 카툰을 제공하는 서비스에 대해 기술한다. Background, Object, Particle 3 개의 Multi Layer 를 기반으로 중력가속도, 모멘트연산을 이용한 물리엔진이 적용된 Particle system 을 사용하여 컨텐츠에 동적인 효과를 나타내준다. 컨텐츠 제작자가 PC Tool 에서 작업한 컨텐츠를 리얼툰 서비스를 통하여 관리하고, Application 을 통하여 독자에게 제공하는 서비스에 대한 Architecture 를 제안한다.

물체의 분광반사율 추정을 위한 최적필터의 선정 (Optimization of color filters selection to estimate surface spectral reflectance of Munsell colors)

  • The object color does not look same under the different light source. It depends on the surface spectral reflectance and the spectral distribution of light source. Therefore we should find the surface spectral reflectance of object color and the spectral distribution of light source for color reproduction. Using Wiener estimation, we can estimate the spectral reflectance from low dimensional images obtained with multi-band image acquisition system. The kind and the number of imaging filters have the effect on the estimation of the spectral reflectance. Therefore it is important that optimal filters are selected to minimize the error of the result. In this paper, we describe methods to select optimal filters with minimum error between measured and estimated surface spectral reflectance and to estimate surface spectral reflectance of Munsell color chart from six multi-band images by using Wiener estimation.

  • This paper attempt analysis and computer simulation of dynamics of a set of dual multi-joint fingers with soft-deformable tips which are grasping. Firstly, a set of differential equation describing dynamics of the fingers and object together with geometric constraint of tight area-contacts is formulated by Euler-Lagrange's formalism. Secondly, problems of controlling both the internal force and the rotation angle of the grasped object under the constraints of area-contacts of tight area-contacts are discussed. The effect of geometric constraints of area-contacts on motion of the overall system is analyzed and a method of computer simulation for overall system of differential-algebraic equations is presented. Finally, simulation results are shown and the effects of geometric constraints of area-contact is discussed.

파일 및 병렬 처리를 이용한 표면 객체의 복셀화 방안 (The Voxelization of Surface Objects using File handling and Parallel Processing)

  • This paper suggests an efficient method for making the high resolution volexlized model from a polygonal surface object. A distinctive strength of the method is that a surface model, however complex one, can be transformed and formed an absolute voxelized solid model in a various resolution. It caused by producing a voxel by integrating the informations for the candidated voxels separately detected in each 3D-axial direction. This method reduces memory complexity by storing the information of voxels that is produced during the 2-phase volxelization(surface and inner voxelization) of a surface object in a binary file. For the computational efficiency, a parallel process using multi-threads is applied in the process of the inner voxelization, it also takes advantage of time complexity.

  • This paper proposes a method to apply the Backpropagation(BP) algorithm of MVL(Multi-Valued Logic) Neural Network to pattern recognition. It extracts the property of an object density about an original pattern necessary for pattern processing and makes the property of the object density mapped to MVL. In addition, because it team the pattern by using multiple valued logic, it can reduce time f3r pattern and space fer memory to a minimum. There is, however, a demerit that existed MVL cannot adapt the change of circumstance. Through changing input into MVL function, not direct input of an existed Multiple pattern, and making it each variable loam by neural network after calculating each variable into liter function. Error has been reduced and convergence speed has become fast.

컴포넌트에 기반한 분산 공급사슬계획 시스템 개발 (Development of a Component-Based Distributed Supply Chain Planning System)

  • The objective of supply chain planning is to satisfy the requirements for minimizing inventory costs, transportation costs, and lead times throughout the supply, production and distribution stage dispersed geographically. Therefore, the supply chain planning system should have functionalities to resolve complex optimization problems that have characteristics of multi-stage and multi-product. Ant the system should also support collaborative decision making among distributed business partners. In this study, we proposed a distributed architecture for the supply chain planning system. To do this, we analyzed functional requirements by using IDEF-0(ICAM Definition-0) methodology, defined required components, and designed each component by using object-oriented methodology. We implemented a prototype system based on CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) to show that the proposed distributed architecture based on component technology is feasible and can solve supply chain planning problem collaboratively.
