Current video service market doesn't satisfy the users' needs who want to find new and interesting contents despite the vast amount of contents. Now it is continuously necessary to Study on technology and using experience is continuously required in online video service area to stimulate the watching motivation efficiently with such as recommendation or promotion. One of efficient ways of increasing the using motivation is to give the users pleasure when they use the services. This study focused on 'unexpected funny finding' as a strategy of providing pleasure of using. It was believed that it could increase the pleasure of using the service, if serendipity, which means unexpected pleasure, accidental finding such as finding a beautiful $caf{\acute{e}}$ or meeting a friend at a certain place unexpectedly, is applied. This study defines the serendipity as 'contents that give unexpected pleasure' at the online video environment. First it theoretically extracted the various characteristics of serendipity through reading many books. Next it verified the other concept of serendipity through the diary of users' survey to additionally extract the characteristics of serendipity at video environment that are hard to find in books. It formed estimation items for the characteristics of the extracted serendipity and tested them in youtube to confirm the characteristics of serendipity being found in video service and observe potential factors that make it. As a result if verified and confirmed four factors that cause serendipity at video environment. This study could be used as basic data to understand the concept of serendipity. It has an academic meaning in the point that it could be a useful reference for the future study that analyzes the role or effect of serendipity at IT area including online video service.
The purpose of this study was to investigate consumption of health functional food (HFF) and dietary habits, nutrient intake, and dietary quality by HFF consumption in college students. The subjects of this study included 283 college students (179 males and 104 females) in Incheon metropolitan city. The cross-sectional study was conducted using self-reported questionnaires, including kinds of HFF consumed, motivation for purchase, reason for consumption, effect after consumption, reason for no consumption, and dietary habits. A three-day recall method was used for dietary assessment. Dietary qualities were assessed using nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR), mean adequacy ratio (MAR), and nutrient density (ND) values. The percentage of HFF consumption was 40.2% in males and 50.0% in females. The main kinds of HFF consumed by males were vitamins and minerals, red ginseng, protein, and omega-3 fatty acid, in that order. HFF consumed by females were vitamins and minerals, red ginseng, omega-3 fatty acid, and individually approved functional ingredients, in that order. The main motivation for purchase of HFF was recommendation of family and relatives (males 76.4% and females 78.8%). The main reason for consumption of HFF was health promotion (males 67.7% and females 63.5%) and the main reason for no consumption of HFF was not having a health problem (males 49.5% and females 46.2%). The dietary habit score for 'eat the milk or dairy product everyday' (p < 0.05) in females was significantly higher in HFF consumers, compared to HFF non-consumers. In males, the ND of vitamin B1 (p < 0.05) in HFF consumers was significantly higher compared to HFF non-consumers. In females, HFF consumers showed a significantly higher ND of vitamin B2 (p < 0.05) and Ca (p < 0.01), compared to HFF non-consumers. Regardless of HFF consumption, the NAR of vitamin C, folic acid, and Ca was less than 0.7. These results suggest the need for nutrition education for college students in order to improve dietary habits and for balanced nutritional status, and to provide correct information on HFF.
The previous researches of gambling have been rather focused on the legal gambling industry and gambling addiction and ignored the issue of illegal gambling. But, illegal gambling in Korea has been continuously growing in its volume and the numbers of the relevant mental and social problems such as gambling addiction, crimes, suicides, and etc. have been increasing rapidly. The present study investigated the psychological characteristics of illegal gamblers with comparing gamblers who never experienced illegal gambling (NE), who experienced illegal gambling but participate mainly in legal gambling (EIG), and who participate mainly in illegal gambling (MIG). 1317 NEs, 177 EIGs, and 37 MIGs were recruited and completed an online survey that measured individual dispositions (risk-taking tendency, regulatory focus, locus of control), attitudes towards gambling regulations, misconception of illegal gambling, motives (monetary, excitement, socialization), and emotions. First, EIGs and MIGs, compared to NEs, preferred risk-taking, and EIGs were more promotion focused than NEs. Also, EIGs perceived illegal gambling as less illegal and tended to hold more misconceptions about illegal gambling, compared to NEs. Furthermore, EIGs and MIGs had stronger monetary and excitement motivation than NEs. Finally, MIGs were more likely to feel anxious than other groups. Focusing on the illegality of gambling, the characteristics of illegal gamblers are discussed and political implication on illegal gambling is suggested.

Purpose: This study is a descriptive research study to identifying the factors affecting the continuity of educational service of pre-service teachers. Methods: The data collection period was from March 1 to 30, 2023. Self-efficacy, pro-sociality, work preference, and continuity of educational service were investigated for 90 pre-service teachers at two universities in G Metropolitan City. For the analysis of the collected data, IBM SPSS/Win 26.0 was used, and descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were performed. RESULTS: As a result of the study, it was found that there was a difference in educational service continuity according to age and major (p<.05). As a result of examining the correlations among work preference, self-efficacy, pro-sociality, and educational service continuity, all four variables had positive correlations (p<.05). As a result of multiple regression analysis to find out which variables had an effect on the continuity of educational service, extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality showed significant results, and the explanatory power of the two variables to explain the continuity of educational service was 57.4%. Discussion: Based on the results of this study, it is thought that it is necessary to develop and apply various programs that can strengthen extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality in order to increase the continuity of educational service.
This study surveyed the performance of food styling and recognition and utility properties of menu development for cooks in a super deluxe hotel. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 400 males and females aged 20 and over. A total of 375 questionnaires were used for analysis (93.8%), and statistical analysis was completed using SPSS (version 14.0) for descriptive analysis and ${\chi}^2$-test. The most important item in food styling was 'harmony of food shape' (40.2%), and second ranked was 'harmony of food color' (23.4%). The most difficult item in food styling was 'lack of professional knowledge' (38.3%) followed by 'lack of creativity' (27.7%). In recognition of menu development, the importance of menu development and promotion was 3.82, and personal satisfaction after menu development was 3.29. Important items in menu development were 'taste' (41.8%) and 'use of new ingredient' (28.5%). When using newly developed menu, the ratio of selling new menu was '30~50%' at 42.7%, and the average selling period of new menu was '3~6 months' at 40.5%. For the effect of new menu on sales, 94.1% were aware of this effect, and to actively promote menu development, 'providing incentive' (35.7%), 'training in/out of country' (20.8%), 'self motivation' (17.3%), 'financial support' (14.7%), and 'motive' (11.5%) were all necessary requirements. In order to improve cooking performance, continued education on food styling and menu development along with the company's full support are required. Further, thorough training of employees is needed along with a high quality incentive policy needs to be done. In addition, to make the new menu profitable, an active marketing strategy must be employed, which will require further study.

The aim of this research is to compare the attitude toward the special needs of dental staffs between the special dental clinic (SDC) and the general dental clinic (GDC). Surveys were done on 21 dental staffs (7 dentists and 14 dental hygienists) of SDC and 47 dental staffs (10 dentists and 37 dental hygienists) of GDC. Attitudes were rated on a questionnaire with the five-point Likert scale. Mann-Whitney test was utilized for statistical analysis. In SDC, more female dentists and dental staffs who have relatives with disability were working. Dental staffs of SDC showed that the more experience they had, the more positive attitudes toward the communication with the patients with special needs (p<0.05). Dental staffs of SDC represented more active attitudes toward the oral health promotion, treatment, research and volunteering (p<0.05). In conclusion, dental staffs who have personal motivation were working in SDC and the experience of dental treatment to the patients with special needs influenced the dental staffs' attitudes toward them. In future, a research about the attitude toward the disabled with more exact scale should be followed.
There is growing recognition that individuals with mental retardation are particularly vulnerable to sexual abuse due to multiple factors including life-long dependence on adults for care, trained compliance, social isolation, lack of education about sexuality and sexual abuse, and a societal view that devalues people with disabilities. Teaching about sexual abuse only may raise an individual's anxiety without promoting a healthy sexual identity. For many individuals with mental retardation, the provision of formal sexual health education and sexual abuse prevention training has been shown to be protective against exploitation as well as increase appropriate sexual behavior. To maximize the reach of formal sexual health education and abuse prevention promotion effort, this article suggest exploiting the internet and digital contents as delivery vehicles that have uniquely suitable communication characteristics and outstanding ability to reach large numbers of persons with mental retardation. We review the sexual health education programs, utilizing the internet and digital contents, for individuals with mental retardation. We also suggest the revised version of the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) model of health behaviour change (Fisher & Fisher, 1992), and give a brief discussion of how useful this model is for constructing a life-long sex education program for persons with mental retardation.

Background: Colorectal cancer is a serious health problem. Early detection of colorectal cancer is crucial for treatment and reducing mortality. Beliefs related to colorectal cancer have been found to be a factor in a person's decision about colorectal cancer screening programs. To determine such beliefs, a valid and reliable instrument is necessary. Objective:The aim of this study was to adapt and determine the psychometric properties of the Persian version of Champion's Health Belief Model Scale of breast cancer screening in the measurement of beliefs toward colorectal cancer (CRC) screening. Materials and Methods: The 'forward-backward' procedure was applied to translate the instrument from English into Persian. This study was conducted in Iran from June 2012 to May 2013. A convenience sample of 200 individuals aged 50 years and older was recruited from the population at the outpatient clinics in the three teaching hospitals. Validity was assessed using content, face and construct validity. To test reliability, the internal consistency was assessed by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient and test-retest (intraclass correlation coefficient) analyses. Exploratory factor analysis was used to assess the construct validity and determine the factors of adapted Champion's Health Belief Model Scale. Results: The mean age of the participants were 62.5 years (SD=10.8 years) and the majority of them (75.5 percent) were female. The results of exploratory factor analysis indicated a six-factor solution for the questionnaire (benefits, motivation and confidence, seriousness, susceptibility, emotional barriers and background barriers) that jointly accounted for 55.52% of variance observed. Cronbach's alpha of the subscales ranged from 0.57 to 0.89 and test-retest reliability ranged from 0.81 to 0.93 indicating a good range of reliability. Conclusions: The findings of this study suggest that the Persian version of Champion's Health Belief Model Scale of CRC screening has good psychometric properties and could be an appropriate measure for health beliefs related to CRC screening in national and international studies.

The product packaging design should be made to be able to know the contents accurately, and it should have the charm that attracts consumers' attention and makes them want to buy the goods. In addition, product design should motivate consumers to buy according to brand naming, package layout, content expression method, taste color, as well as graphic elements that induce visual effects.The graphic elements that express the image of the contents in a package design of the product at a glance are the most essential elements to enhance the value added of the product and to induce the purchase motivation and rationalization of the consumer. This study is a study on visual image symbol image using visual information metadata in livestock products. It examines cases of various livestock packages and presents graphical elements that can visualize livestock images at a glance as metadata elements. We will pursue the premiumization of livestock products, raise brand value, and offer differentiating design strategies for economic benefits as well as potential for revitalizing the livestock market.

Purpose: Nursing education should be considered the training for professional nurses who can deliver high quality care to meet the needs of health consumers. This study was aimed at evaluation on practice satisfaction of nursing student in the community. Method: The data was collected from 107 students at 4 colleges and 72 students at 3 universities in Daegu city from March 1st to June 30th, 2001. This study was investigated by the questionnaire which was consisted of general characteristics, recognition of nursing and practice satisfaction. The questionnaire of practice satisfaction used in this study was modified from Lee, S.J.(1980)'s and Park(1994)'s questionnaire. The data was analyzed by SAS(ver. 6.12) program and statistical methods used were mean, standard deviation and ANOVA(analysis of variables). Result: The findings of this study were as follows: 1. Students showed that nursing is a kind of activities for promotion of health, prevention of disease, recovery of health and relieving of pain in the recognition of the nursing. 2. Students showed that the community- practice gives an opportunity to learn the relationship with health team for the solution of trouble patients in the recognition for the necessity of the community-practice. 3. In the practice satisfaction, students gained high score in evaluation, but especially low score in instruct of the community-practice. 4. The general characteristics which affected practice satisfaction were grade, motivation of nursing selection and duration of practice in the community-practice. Conclusion: As theses results it was necessary to prepare the programed and developed practice-education in the community.
