  • An effective method is necessary for the real-time analysis of an unmanned military robot. To achieve highly efficient simulations, a subsystem synthesis method has been developed. The subsystem synthesis method separately generates equations of motion for the base body and for the subsystem. The equations of motion are expressed by DAE, which consist of differential equations and algebraic equations. To increase the accuracy and efficiency of solutions, DAE solvers such as the Direct, CS (Constraint Stabilization), and GCP (Generalized Coordinate Partitioning) method are employed. In this study, the subsystem synthesis method is applied for effective multi-body dynamics analysis of an unmanned military robot, and a comparative study of three different DAE solvers is carried out.

  • In this paper, we propose an advanced hardware architecture for the fast inter prediction engine of the video coding standard MPEG-4 AVC. We describe the algorithm and derive the hardware architecture emphasizing and real time operation of the quarter_pel based motion estimation. The fast inter prediction engine is composed of block segmentation, motion estimation, motion compensation, and the fast quarter_pel calculator. The proposed architecture has been verified by ARM-interfaced emulation board using Excalibur & Virtex2 FPGA, and also by synthesis on Samsung 0.18 um CMOS technology. The synthesis result shows that the proposed hardware can operate at 62.5MHz. In this case, it can process about 88 QCIF video frames per second. The hardware is being used as a core module when implementing a complete MPEG-4 AVC video encoder chip for real-time multimedia application.

  • We propose a novel high dynamic range (HDR) video synthesis algorithm using alternatively exposed low dynamic range (LDR) videos. We first develop a superpixel-based illumination invariant correspondence estimation algorithm. Then, we propose a reliability weight to further improve the quality of the synthesized HDR frame. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides high-quality HDR frames compared to conventional algorithms.

  • This paper presents a new framework of kinematic tolerance synthesis and describes the implemented algorithm for planar mechanical systems comprised of higher kinematic pairs. Input to the synthesis algorithm is a parametric model of the mechanical system with allowed parameter ranges (tolerance ranges). The model is specified as the part profiles consisting of line and arc segments and the motion axes along which each part moves. The algorithm analyzes tolerance in generalized configuration space, called contact zones bounding the worst-case variations, and identifies bad system variations. The bad system variations then are removed out of the parameter ranges by adjusting the nominal parameter values if possible and then shrinking the ranges otherwise. This cycle is repeated until no more bad variations we found. I show the effectiveness of the algorithm by case studies on several mechanisms.

  • In this paper, a numerical method is proposed for cam synthesis. kinematics of closed loop system with cam and follower is presented using relative coordinates. The system is transformed into an open loop system by cutting fictitiously higher-pair contact of cam and follower and envelope constraint equations are derived. Follower constraint equations are derived from the motion of the follower ends. The joint variables and follower profile parameters are calculated from the envelope constraint equations and follower constraint equations by using the Newton - Raphson iterative method. Algorithms for cam synthesis are presented and simulations are done to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • This study presents a methodology for simulating a unified approach that controls interaction force between tool and objective by using a synthesis method of robot interacting control law for stabilizing the transient process of motion. Root locus is used to analyze stabilization of motion deviation characteristics. Based on responses of motion deviation, contact force is derived to satisfy exponential stability and we generate control input with respect to motion trajectories and interaction force. Moreover, simulation is applied to experimental application of a Cartesian robot driven by two stepper motors, and the noise of feedback signals is considered as presence of system inaccuracies, and the unified approach of interaction force control is examined precisely.

  • The aim of this essay is to identify elements of methodologies to investigate the development of Newtonian dynamics. This methodology involves the transformation and synthesis of preceding theories. My essay attempts to confirm my assertion by analyzing historical case of Newton's discovery of his dynamics. While discovering his mechanistic theory, Newton reconstructed theoretical concepts and structures of intellectual predecessors, such as Aristotle, Descartes, Galileo, and Kepler. Newton's synthesis was possible only after carefully reconstructing the appropriate and useful ideas of previous natural philosophers' ideas. As a result, Newtonian dynamics are completed with these modified and integrated concepts incorporated into Newton's law of motion and space-time concepts. This study consists of two parts. First, Lakatos' research program has been applied in order to analyze the structure of Newtonian dynamics. Second, the aforementioned methodologies of discovery are distilled from the case study.

  • There is currently a burgeoning demand for image synthesis from photos and videos using deep learning models. Existing video synthesis models solely extract motion information from the provided video to generate animation effects on photos. However, these synthesis models encounter challenges in achieving accurate lip synchronization with the audio and maintaining the image quality of the synthesized output. To tackle these issues, this paper introduces a novel framework based on an image animation approach. Within this framework, upon receiving a photo, a video, and audio input, it produces an output that not only retains the unique characteristics of the individuals in the photo but also synchronizes their movements with the provided video, achieving lip synchronization with the audio. Furthermore, a super-resolution model is employed to enhance the quality and resolution of the synthesized output.

However, it is very role to recognize the overall procedure of image composition and unprepared state on a research on variety and complexity for the specific composition method, it is necessary to materialize the overall pattern that can understand stream of image and standardization. In order to embody, it may be desirable that improve working efficiency of database by form called resources. In this paper, by providing the several values such as matte, key, motion, scale, position, or opacity characteristics, we directed th solving problems through the detailed examples while the user has the difficulty on image synthesis.
