RAPD 분석과 내부형태에 의한 독활(獨活)(Aralia continentalis)의 감별에 관한 연구 (Discrimination of Aralia continentalis Root by the Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Analysis and Morphological Characteristics)

  • Dried parts of the herb medicines are difficult to distinguish morphologically. Heracleum moellendorffii cordata has often been sold instead of Aralia cordata in herbal medicine markets. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop the key for discrimination between them using the RAPD analysis and morphological characteristics. Thirty decarmer oligonucleotide primers were screened for the RAPD analysis, and four primers generated distinct RAPD markers specific to Aralia cordata, Angelica pubescens maxim f. biserrata, and Heracleum moellendorffii. The specific RAPD patterns generated by the selected primers were reproducible from dried materials. In comparison of morphological characteristics, Aralia cordata seems to be entirely developed in xylem fiber, but not developed in pith.

다변량 분석에 의한 국내산 대추나무 품종의 형태적 특성과 유연관계 (Morphological Characteristics and Classification of Zizyphus Cultivars in Korea by Multivariative Analysis)

  • 대추나무에 관한 연구 및 2008년부터 시행될 산림수종의 품종보호제도에 대비하여 대추나무의 특성조사요령검정지침서(TG : Test guidelines) 작성 등에 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 우리나라에서 가장 많이 재배되고 있는 대추나무 복조 등 5품종을 대상으로 과실과 엽의 형태적 특성들을 조사, 주성분분석 및 군집분석 등과 같은 다변량 분석법을 이용하여 분석 고찰한 결과, 인(仁)과 관련된 특성에서는 유의성이 인정되지 않아 대추나무의 품종간 유연관계를 고찰하는 특성으로는 부적절 한 것으로 판단된다. 과실중량을 비롯한 모든 특성들에서 보은대추 품종이 복조를 비롯한 다른 4품종과는 형태적 특성에서 명확하게 구분되는 것으로 나타났다. 주성분분석 결과, 제1주성분의 고유값은 10.45로 전체 분산에 대하여 65.3%의 기여도가 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 고유 값이 1이상인 제3주성분까지의 전체 분산에 대한 기여도는 96.5%로 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 과실종경을 비롯하여 엽장과 엽병장 및 정엽장과 정엽폭, 과형지수와 핵형지수 및 정엽형지수와 같은 형태적 특성들이 대추나무 품종의 유연관계를 구명하는데 높은 기여도를 나타내는 것으로 분석되었다. 군집분석 결과, 거리수준 3.3을 기준으로 보은대추를 제외한 무등과 월출 및 금성과 복조품종이 포함된 I group과 보은대추 품종만이 포함된 II group등 크게 2개의 group으로 구분할 수 있었으며 I group은 무등과 월출 및 복조품종이 포함된 sub group과 금성 품종 등 2개의 sub group으로 다시 구분할 수 있었다.

  • The pearl-spot damsel, Chromis notata, is one of the important fishery species in Korea. While C. notata has been commonly harvested in southern Korea, the increasing number of C. notata in higher latitudes has crucial ecological, economic and evolutionary implications under conditions where the climate is rapidly changing. Here we examined the morphological and genetic characteristics of C. notata to assess patterns of geographical variations among the groups from three different sites. The groups were clearly distinguishable in the analysis of morphological characteristics. On the other hand, the groups were genetically indistinguishable. All individuals fell within a single clade in the neighbor-joining tree but appeared scattered in the haplotype network. Several haplotypes are shared among the sampling sites (Jejudo-Ulleungdo; Hap 9, Wangdolcho-Ulleungdo; Hap 28, Hap 33, Hap 34). Although control region markers did not elucidate the spatial patterns in genetic characteristics, Wangdolcho and Ulleungdo groups appear to exhibit a more robust gene flow between the two groups than with Jejudo group. Integrative approaches such as those combining morphological and genetic analyses minimize potential errors caused by limited perspectives of each analysis and can provide useful information for discovering functional DNA regions attributable to morphological characteristics expressions.

지도축척의 영향에 따른 하천형태학적 특성연구 (A study on stream morphological characteristics according to effect of Map Scale)

  • The stream morphological characteristics of watershed have important influence upon the analysis of runoff. In this study, the effect of the map scale on the stream morphological characteristics was used on the data taken from 15'(1:50, 000) and 7'30"(1 :25,000) topographic maps which could cover the whole Miho River basin This basin are the first tributary of the Geum. River. Otherwise, the longitudinal stream bed profile was calculated by Yang's theoretical stream bed profile, equilibrium profile and actual profile. In the result of this investigation the conclusion is that the resultant relationship obtained from different topographic maps in the scale on the same stream system has come upon the same result as the stream morphological characteristics. Therefore, the great amount of time and effort can be saved in studing the stream morphological charecteristics by using the 15' instead of the 7'30"map system excluding the first order streams.

  • It can be effect on diagnosis of hydraulic machining system to analyze working conditions with shape characteristics of wear debris in a lubricated machine. But, in order to predict and estimate working conditions, it is need to analyze the shape characteristics of wear debris and to identify. Therefor, if shape characteristics of wear debris is identified by computer image analysis and the neural network, it is possible to find the cause and effect of moving condition. In this study, wear debris in the lubricant oil are extracted by membrane filter, and the quantitative value of shape characteristics of wear debris we calculated by the digital image processing. This morphological informations are studied and identified by the artificial neural network. The purpose of this study is In apply morphological characteristics of wear debris to prediction and estimation of working condition in hydraulic driving systems.

고대 한국 지방도시 격자형 토지구획의 형태특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Grid Land Subdivision of Ancient Local City in Korea)

  • This study aims to find out the genetic characteristics of gridded subdivision area which has its origin from ancient local administrative city-Sangju, Jeonju, Namwon, Kwangju, Chungju. The spatial structure, based on the inter-relationship among gridded subdivision area, city wall, and topographic condition, and the morphological characteristics of gridded subdivision area are analyzed. The points of analysis on morphological characteristics of gridded subdivision area consist of the size of unit block, the organization system of unit block, the orientation of subdivision line. As a result of the analysis, three main characteristics are found. Firstly there can be found no same land subdivision rule among study areas. Secondly, the morphological features of study area were the products of cumulative process of different subdivision areas which were developed in different periods. Thirdly, the original regular gridded land subdivision seems to have been carried out in the object of a farm-land cultivation around 7th century. And there was a change of land-use from farm land to urban land-use during the later 7th century and 8th century.

  • 한국내 분포하는 음나무(Kalopanox pictus Nakai)의 집단간 분화를 연구하기 위해 형태적 특성을 조사하였다. 23개 형태 형질에 근거하여 지역간 분화는 현저하였다. 아홉 집단에서 138표본으로 유효한 분류학적 단위(OTU)를 표현형 유사도와 형태적 변이를 조사하였으며 주성분 분석을 실시하였다. 첫 세 주성분 요소가 전체 변이의 77.0%에 관련이 있었다. 이 중 첫 번째 주성분 요소가 전체 변이의 52%에 기여하였는데 이에 해당되는 형질은 장상복엽의 장상렬의 수, 그리고 장상렬의 폭이다. 형태적 변이에 근거한 군집분석에서 우리나라 남부와 중부지방의 두 그룹으로 나누어졌다.

  • This study had been conducted to determine morphological characteristics of soil in the major districts cultivating flue-cured tobacco plant. Also native soil productivities were measured by means of bioassay planting tobacco plant without fertilizer at 87 selected soils through field experiment. Morphological characteristics of troll affecting the dry weight of tobacco leaves cultivated in the field were investigated Among soil morphological characteristics, topograpy, slope, topsoil depth, soil depth, and soil texture had influenced with high significant on the dry weight of tobacco leaves. For prediction of dry weight (productivity) of tobacco leaves without fertilizer , multiple regression analysis were introduced using soul morphological characteristics. A combination of topography, slope, topsoil depth, and soil texture was very reliable for prediction of productivity. 국내 자생 꾸지뽕나무 잎과 열매의 형태적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Morphological Characteristics of Leaves and Fruit of Cudrania tricuspidata in Korea)

  • 꾸지뽕나무의 수요 증가에 따라 자생지 파괴가 심각한 반면 꾸지뽕나무에 대한 연구는 미비하기 때문에 자생지 복원과 새로운 농가 소득원으로 이용하기 위하여 국내에 자생하는 꾸지뽕나무 16개 집단을 대상으로 엽과 열매의 형태적 특성을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사된 꾸지뽕나무 집단에서 엽의 형태적 특성에 대한 유집분석 결과 4개의 그룹으로 구분되었다. 열매의 형태적 특성을 분석하기 위해 꾸지뽕나무 15개 집단의 열매길이, 폭, 무게 등 3가지 형질을 분산 분석한 결과, 유의확률이 p=0.05로 각각의 형질에 따라 집단 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 열매의 3가지 형질별 특성을 이용하여 군집분석을 실시한 결과 세 집단으로 구분되었다. 본 연구결과에 따르면 꾸지뽕나무 엽과 열매의 형태학적 특징은 각 집단 간 차이가 있었으며, 엽의 형태적 특징과 열매의 특징이 일치하지는 않았다.

Taxonomic Position and Affinities of Isopyrum mandshuricum within Korean Isopyroideae (Ranunculaceae) Based on Molecular Data

  • To examine the taxonomic position and affinities of Isopyrum mandshuricum (Ranunculaceae) and related taxa, genetic analysis were carried out on the basis of isozyme patterns and ITS sequences. Molecular data, both isozyme patterns and ITS sequences suggest that I. mandshuricum is closely related to Enemion raddeanum than to Semiaquilegia adoxoides. The estimation of genetic identities by isozyme analysis reveals that I. manshuricum is genetically distant from E. raddeanum. The phylogenetic tree based on molecular data is rather congruent with the phenogram based on quantitative morphological characteristics, but not consistent with one based on qualitative morphological characteristics. Incongruencies between molecular and qualitative morphological data provide clues to re-evaluate several morphological features.
