The motive gas of a supersonic ejector is supplied from different sources depending on the application. The performance of an ejector that is represented by the secondary flow pressure, starting and unstarting pressures heavily depends on the molecular properties of the motive gas. The effects of specific heat ratio of the motive gas were investigated experimentally for an axi-symmetric annular injection type supersonic ejector. Both the starting pressure and unstarting pressure, however, decreased with the increase of the specific heat ratio of the motive gas. It was discovered that the secondary flow pressure increased as the specific heat ratio of the motive gas decreased even if the stagnation pressure of the motive flow was invariant. However, when the motive gas flow nozzle area ratio is large enough for the motive gas to be condensed, different tendency was observed.

The gas permeation performance of commercially available polyetherimide (Ultem$\^$/) is simulated by means of molecular dynamics methods. By the observation of trajectory, long distance hopping of gas molecules is needed to transverse from top to bottom of membrane. Two possibilities mechanism of diffusion phenomena through glassy polymers can be issued. Diffusion coefficients were calculated by Einstein relation equation. In solubility simulation, the value of the constants C'$\_$H/ and b for O$_2$ at 300 K were calculated. The diffusion and solubility coefficient of He for PEI were simulated in this simulation work. the permeability coefficient is 9.88 Barrer. This value is closed to experimental value of 9.4 Barrer.
Recent observational studies suggest that the environmental effects can shape the evolution of galaxies in clusters. In an attempt to better understand this process, we perform idealized radiation-hydrodynamic simulations of RAM pressure stripping on star-forming galaxies using RAMSES-RT. We find that extended HI disks are easily stripped by moderate ICM winds, while there is no significant decrease in the total mass of molecular gas. RAM pressure tends to compress the molecular gas, leading to enhanced star formation especially when the gaseous disk is hit by edge-on winds. On the other hand, strong ICM winds that are expected to operate at the centre of clusters strip both HI and molecular gas from the galaxy. Interestingly, we find that the strong ICM winds can induce the formation of relatively dense (~1H/cc) HI gas clouds at a distance from the disk.
In this study, five representative, commercially available polymers, Ultem 1000 polyetherimide, Kapton polyimide, phenolic resin, polyacrylonitrile and cellulose acetate, were used to prepare pyrolyzed polymer membranes coated on a porous {\alpha}-alumina$ tube via inert pyrolysis for gas separation. Pyrolysis conditions (i.e., final temperature and thermal dwell time) of each polymer were determined using a thermogravimetric method coupled with real-time mass spectroscopy. The surface area and pore size distribution of the pyrolyzed materials derived from the polymers were estimated from the nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms. Pyrolyzed membranes from polymer precursors exhibited type I sorption behavior except cellulose acetate (type IV). The gas permeation of the carbon/{\alpha}-alumina$ tubular membranes was characterized using four gases: helium, carbon dioxide, oxygen and nitrogen. The polyetherimide, polyimide, and phenolic resin pyrolyzed polymer membranes showed typical molecular sieving gas permeation behavior, while membranes from polyacrylonitrile and cellulose acetate exhibited intermediate behavior between Knudsen diffusion and molecular sieving. Pyrolyzed membranes with molecular sieving behavior (e.g., polyetherimide, polyimide, and phenolic resin) had a $CO_2/N_2$ selectivity of greater than 15; however, the membranes from polyacrylonitrile and cellulose acetate with intermediate gas transport behavior had a selectivity slightly greater than unity due to their large pore size.
In this project, all available databases of molecular and gas-dust clouds in the Galaxy were cross-identified by taking into account available properties, including position, angular dimensions, velocity, density, temperature and mass. An initial list of about 7000 entries was condensed into a cross-identified all-sky catalogue containing molecular and gas-dust clouds. Some relationships were studied between the main physical features of clouds. Finally, we prepared a complex observing program and address future work for filling in the gaps.
We report the results of H I 21-cm and molecular line studies of the shocked interstellar gas in the W51 complex. We present convincing evidences suggesting that the shocked gas has been produced by the interaction of the W51C supernova remant (SNR) with a large molecular cloud, Our results show that W51C is the second SNR with direct evidences for the shocked cloud material.
The viscosities of organic compounds (alcohols, acetates, alkanes, acids, substituted $NH_2$) in liquid states, gas states and the binary mixtures of n-alkane / 1-chloroalkane were calculated by molecular modeling techniques. The molecular descriptors of molecular modeling technique are Molecular connectivity indices, Wiener indices and ad hoc descriptors, which can encode the information of compound properties about the effect of size, branching, cyclization, unsaturation, heteroatom content, polarizability, and so on. The successful results among method have been Molecular connectivity indices, binary mixtures of n-alkane / 1-chloroalkane, Wiener indices for gas state and ad hoc descriptor for liquid states. Also we obtained the regression equations for viscosities using molecular modeling indices for gas, liquid states and binary mixtures of n-alkane / 1-chloroalkane. The calculated viscosity values for organic compounds are in good agreement with experimental results.

The anodic reaction of hydrogen/oxygen gas mixture at platinum or palladium electrode interfacing with a solid polymer electrolyte was investigated using AC impedance method. The impedance spectrum of the electrode reactions of the mixture depends on the gas composition, electrode roughness, the mode of electrochemical operation and the cell potential. For electrolysis mode of operation, the spectrum taken for the reaction on a rough platinum electrode for the gas mixture revealed clearly that the local anodic reduction of oxygen gas takes place concurrently with the anodic oxidation of hydrogen gas.

Three anode configurations of six-jet, cone-jet and cylindrical-jet are tested for their analytical performance under power mode operation. The effect of pressure, power and gas flow rate on atomic absorption signals have been studied. The increase of atomic absorption signal of sample element is observed at a fixed pressure in all configurations as the gas flow rate increase up to 300-600 seem, and as the power dissipated in the glow discharge cell increase. The lower the pressure is in the glow discharge cell at a fixed discharge power and argon flow rate, the greater the absorbance of sample element is. The optimum conditions are taken from these data and a calibration curve of Cu in low-alloy steel sample is obtained. In this calibration curve, six-jet configuration shows the best analytical results varies as the sample element.
A new analytical method for measurement of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) in human urine was developed. DOPA from an aqueous solution was converted into an ethoxycarbonyl (EOC) derivative. A tertbutyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) reaction under anhydrous conditions was then attempted for analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in selected ion monitoring mode. A new mass spectral data on DOPA as a tri-EOC/mono-TBDMS derivative was built. This method showed good linearity (r ${\geq}$ 0.999), precision (% relative standard deviation = 3.1-9.2), and accuracy (% relative error = -7.2-8.8), with a detection limit of 0.05 ng/mL. This selective and accurate method of DOPA analysis will be useful for biochemical monitoring of various neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease in biological fluids.
