Flusilazole의 훈증 효과에 의한 양파검은곰팡이병균(Aspergillus niger)의 포자 형성 억제 (Inhibitory Effect of Flusilazole on the Spore Formation of Aspergillus niger Causing the Onion Black Mold in Vapour Phase)

  • 1998년 전남 신안군의 양파 상온 저장고에서 발생한 검은색의 곰팡이는 검은곰팡이병을 일으키는 Aspergillusniger로 동정되었다. A. niger AnYD-1은 3$0^{\circ}C$에서 균사생장, 포자발아 그리고 양파에 대한 병원성이 가장 양호하였다. PDA 배지 상에서 실시한 in vitro의 실험에서 flusilazole과 hexaconazole은 A. niger AnYD-1의 균사 생장 억제 효과는 적었지만, 병원균에 살균제를 직접 처리하지 않고 증기 상태로 처리하였을 때 포자의 형성을 강하게 억제하는 특이적 인 훈증효과를 보였다. Flusilazole과 hexaconazole의 훈증의 효과는 사용하는 용매, 처리 농도와 배양 온도에 따라서 차이가 있었다. Dimethylsulfoxide와 dimethylformamide를 용매로 사용하였을 때 가장 높은 효과가 나타났으며, 고온에서 배양할수록 포자형성 억제 효과가 크게 나타났다.

  • 핫 스탬핑은 오스테나이트 변태 온도 이상에서 프레스 성형 후 급속히 냉각되는 고강도 부품을 제조하는 성형 방법이다. 매우 적은 양의 보론 성분을 가지고 있는 보론강은 핫 스탬핑에 사용되는 재료 중의 하나이다. 본 연구의 목적은 열처리 조건에 따르는 기계적 성질과 에릭슨 커핑 시험에 의하여 성형성을 조사하는 것이다. 다양한 온도에서 다이��칭은 대기 시간을 달리하여 실시하였다. 1173 K-0s에서 ��칭 후 TWB는 1203 MPa의 인장 강도를 얻었다. 이것은 모재 인장강도(1,522 MPA)의 79 %이다. 금형 온도(298, 523, 673 K)에 따른 보론강 TWB의 성형성은 차이가 크지 않았다. 그러나 성형 속도가 증가함에 따라 성형성이 감소하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

품종과 보존제의 처리가 춘계수확 연맥의 특성과 사료가치에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cultivar and Preservative on Characteristics and Quality of Spring Harvested Oat Hay)

  • An experiment was carried out to determine effect of cultivar and preservative on the characteristics and quality of baled oat(Avena sativa L.) hay after 60 days of storage. Ihe main plots consisted of the cultivars such as 'Foothill' and 'Swan', and the subplots consisted of preservatives such as commercial propionic acid(CA), lactic bacteria inoculant(LB) and control(C0). Bale temperature of 'Foothill' oat hay maintained higher than that of 'Swan' oat hay during storage. Bale temperature of oat hay treated with CA remained lowest during the earlier storage period and no significant difference was found among preservatives during the latter storage period. Visual assessment of bale of 'Swan' oat hay was better in the evaluation of mold, odor and color than that of 'Foothill' oat hay after storage. DM content of Foothill oat hay increased markedly than that of 'Swan' oat hay through the storage period. CFU(Colony fodng unit) of total viable micmrganism of oat hay bales was not quite different between preservatives, but that of lactic bacteria of 'Swan' oat hay and 'Foothill' was different by over 16 and lo4, respectively. Total nitrogen content of 'Swan' and 'Foothill' oat hay was 1.45 and 2.22%, respectively(P<0.05) and effect of preservatives on total N content was higher in the order of LB, CA, and CO. 후열처리에 따른 Cu-NiCrBSi 이종 레이저 클래드부의 미세조직 및 기계적 성질 변화 (Effect of Post-clad Heat Treatment on Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of Cu-NiCrBSi Dissimilar Laser Clads)

  • For surface hardening of a continuous casting mold component, a fundamental metallurgical investigation on dissimilar laser clads (Cu-NiCrBSi) is performed. In particular, variation behavior of microstructures and mechanical properties (hardness and wear resistance) of dissimilar clads during long-term service is clarified by performing high-temperature post-clad heat treatment (temperature range: 500 ~ 1,000 ℃ and isothermal holding time: 20 ~ 500 min). The microstructures of clad metals (as-clads) consist of fine dendrite morphologies and severe microsegregations of the alloying elements (Cr and Si); substrate material (Cu) is clearly confirmed. During the post-clad heat treatment, the microsegregations are totally homogenized, and secondary phases (Cr-based borides and carbides) precipitated during the short-term heat treatment are also almost dissolved, especially at the heat treatment conditions of 950 ℃ for 500 min. Owing to these microstructural homogenization behaviors, an opposite tendency of the surface mechanical properties can be confirmed. In other words, the wear resistance (wear rate) improves from 4.1 × 10-2 ㎣/Nm (as-clad condition) to 1.4 × 10-2 ㎣/Nm (heat-treated at 950 ℃ for 500 min), whereas the hardness decreases from 453 HV (as-clad condition) to 142 HV (heat-treated at 950 ℃ for 500 min).

  • 사출성형은 고온의 수지를 고압으로 금형에 충전하고 냉각하여 제품을 만드는 공정으로 큰 온도차이와 고압에 의해 성형품에 잔류응력이 형성된다. 이러한 잔류응력은 시간이 지남에 따라 이완되면서 제품에 변형을 일으켜 형상 품질을 저하시킨다. 본 연구에서는 광탄성 장치를 이용하여 투명한 사출성형품의 잔류응력을 측정하는 방법을 연구하였다. 빛은 전자파처럼 진행하는데 편광필름을 통과하면 하나의 파장만이 진행하게 된다. 그 파장이 시편을 통과하면서 시편에 존재하는 잔류응력 때문에 복굴절이 형성되고 두 번째 편광필름을 통과하면서 다양한 색의 패턴을 보이게 된다. 이 색의 패턴을 이용하여 사출성형으로 제작된 사각평판의 잔류응력을 정량적으로 측정하였다. 또한 컴퓨터 해석을 통해 사출성형품의 광학적 특성을 예측하였으며 실험과 비교하였다.

Effect of Packaging Method on the Quality of Strawberry, Tomato, and plum during Storage

  • To examine the effect of packaging method on strawberry, tomato, and plum quality, the rate of weight loss, Hunter a value, decay rate, anthocyanin contents, and microbial (total bacterial counts, mold and yeast, and pseudomonas) changes were determined during storage. Strawberry was packaged with low density polyethylene (LDPE). Tomato and plum were packaged with high density polyethylene film (HDPE). Strawberries, tomatoes, and plums were then stored at 4$^{\circ}C$ and 20$^{\circ}C$, respectively. LDPE package was the most effective on the decrease of decay rate of strawberry and the rate of weight loss for packaged strawberry was lower than that of the non-packaged. HDPE package was the most effective on the rate of weight loss during storage of tomatoes and plums regardless of storage temperature. Hunter a value increased during storage. Anthocyanin contents of plums increased overall with increasing storage time, and plums stored without package were changed more than those with package. Microbial changes of strawberry, tomato, and plum stored at 4$^{\circ}C$ and 20$^{\circ}C$ were monitored during storage. Packaging method did not affect the microbial change, yet temperature did affect the microbial change significantly. These results indicate that storage of these commodities at 4$^{\circ}C$ should be recommended in terms ,of microbial safety as well as quality and shelf-life.

제품품질을 위한 타이어 가황공정의 동적 최적화 (Dynamic Optimization of o Tire Curing Process for Product Quality)

  • 타이어 가황공정(curing process)은 타이어 제조를 위한 최종공정으로 여러 개의 고무배합물 층으로부터 성형된 그린타이어(green tire)를 가황기(mold)내에서 고압/고온 조건하에 유지시킴으로써 원하는 형상을 얻게 하고, 아울러 각 고무배합물이 고탄성을 갖도록 물성을 변화시키는 공정이다. 본 연구에서는 타이어 품질의 향상을 위해 가황공정을 수치적으로 최적화하는 기법을 개발하였다. 먼저, 가황공정 중 가황매체(cure media)의 최적공급 조건을 경정하기 위해 제약조건을 갖는 동적최적화문제(dynamic constrained optimization problem)로 정형화하였다. 즉, 가황기 내의 전열 및 가황 반응 현상을 묘사하는 공정모델로 표현되는 등위제약조건(equality constraint)과 가황매체가 갖는 온도의 한계를 표현하는 부등위제약조건(Inequality constraint) 아래 목적함수를 최적화 시켰다. 다음, 공급되는 가황매체의 최적조건을 결정하기 위해 구성된 최적화문제를 유한요소법(FEM)과 complex 알고리즘을 적용하여 풀었다.

  • Purpose: This study is a comparative analysis of the strain according to deposition in a constant temperature water bath after manufacturing ultraviolet (UV)-cured artificial teeth. Methods: As a control group, 10 ready-made artificial teeth were selected as the first molar on the right side of the maxilla (RT group). Silicone was used as a duplicate of the artificial denture teeth. Experimental teeth were prepared in two groups using the prepared silicone mold. In the first experimental group, the UV-cured resin was injected into the negative silicone, followed by irradiation with a UV-curing machine for 5 minutes (5M group). In the second experimental group, the UV-cured resin was injected into the negative silicone, and then irradiated for 30 minutes using a UV-curing machine (30M group). The one-way ANOVA was performed, and post-test was analyzed by Tukey. Results: When immersed in a water bath for 15 days, it was found to be -0.3% in the RT group, -0.6% in the 5M group, and -0.7% in the 30M group. The results revealed -0.2% in the RT group, 0.2% in the 5M group, and -0.2% in the 30M group when they were in the bath for 30 days. Conclusion: In the water bath, the swelling was greater when deposited for 1 to 15 days, but was less when deposited for 15 to 30 days.

BSCCO(2212) 벌크 초전도체의 주조조건 및 SrSO4 최적함량에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Casting Process Variables and Optimum SrSO4 Content of the BSCCO(2212) Bulk Superconductor)

  • We fabricated BSCCO-2212 (2212) rod by the melt casting process (MCP) and evaluated the effect of the melt flowing on the critical current ($I_c$) by using vertical and tilt casting. It was observed that the $2212-SrSO_4$ rod processed by the tilt casting method with homogeneous pre-heating temperature of the mold had a higher $I_c$ than that processed by the vertical casting method. We also evaluated the influence of the strontium sulfates ($SrSO_4$) addition on the texture, microstructure, critical current and temperature, and mechanical hardness of the $2212-SrSO_4$ rods. It was observed that the addition of $SrSO_4$ improved the critical current ($I_c$) and mechanical hardness of the 2212. The $I_c$ of the 2212 increased as the $SrSO_4$ content increased and reached a peak value (260 A at 77 K) at an $SrSO_4$ content of 6 wt.%. In addition, the addition of $SrSO_4$ had a beneficial effect on the mechanical hardness of the 2212. We studied the possible cause of the variation in the $I_c$ with the melt flowing and the $SrSO_4$ content based on the XRD, EPMA analysis and the microstructural observation.

입자미세화가 Al-4.8%Cu-0.6%Mn 합금의 유동도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Grain Refinement on Fluidity of Al-4.8%CU-0.6%Mn Alloy)

  • A good fluidity of high strength Al-alloys is required to cast thin wall castings needed to reduce the weight of cast parts. The fluidity, measured as the length to which the metal flows in a standard channel, is affected by many factors, such as the pouring temperature, solidification type of the alloy, the channel thickness, melt head, mold materials and temperature, coating etc. Therefore the experimentally measured fluidity scatters very much and makes it difficult to estimate the fluidity of a melt with a few measurements. The effect of Ti content and grain refinement on the fluidity of high strength aluminum alloy was investigated with a test casting with 8 thin flow channels to reduce the scattering of the fluidity results. The fluidity of Al-4.8%Cu-0.6%Mn Al-6.2%Zn-1.6%Mg-1.0%Cu and well-known commercial aluminum alloy, A356 was tested. Initial content of Ti was varied from 0 to 0.2wt% and Al-5Ti-B master alloy was added for grain refinement. The flow length varied linearly with superheat. By adding Ti and Al-5Ti-B, the fluidity increased. The grain size decreased by adding grain refiner at the same time. The fluidity depended on the degree of grain refinement. The fluidity of the alloy solidifying in mushy type is improved by grain refinement, because grain refinement increases the solid fraction at the time of flow stoppage.
