In order to improve on the stability during the storage of Han-gwa, this study measured peroxide value, AOM test of ginseng and antioxidants added to Han-gwa. 1.2% of ginseng added to Han-gwa consists of moisture (3.37%), protein(1.30%), lipids (11.54%), carbohydrate(82.45%) and ash (1.34%). The hardness of Han-gwa was 257.7 for 1.2% of ginseng added to Han-gwa and 269.8 for Han-gwa without ginseng. The expansion coefficient of Han-gwa including 1.2% of ginseng was 12.9 magnification to Bandegi, indicating that it was inversely proportioned to the amount of ginseng. The induction period of the AOM test according to the concentration of ginseng in Han-gwa was extended to $0.53{\sim}0.83$ of magnification than the test of Han-gwa without ginseng. According to changes in AOM, acid value, peroxide value and thiobarbituric acid value of Han-gwa with various packing materials, PP multilayer film packing was the most effective material for storage of Han-gwa at 30C. 1.2% of ginseng added to Han-gwa and rosemary extract in a panel test was the most effective, and using PP multilayer film packing for Han-gwa was found to be the most useful method.

In this study, the characteristics as well as the maturity and stability of chicken manure collected from nine chicken farms in South Korea during the summer and winter seasons of 2014 are evaluated. The physicochemical parameter values of the manure, such as BOD, $NO_3-N$ and $PO_4-P$ etc. were determined using the Korea Standard test Method, HPLC, and APHA standard methods. The results showed that the alkalinity content and COD concentration in winter chicken manure were higher than those of summer chicken manure. The moisture content of summer manure was positively correlated with almost all of the other parameters of the manure, whereas it was negatively correlated with almost all of the other parameters in the winter manure. According to the criterion of C/N ratio, chicken manure indicated good quality compost. However, composted chicken manure showed immature and unstable compost when considering the criteria of the $NH_4-N/NO_3-N$ ratio and $NH_4-N$ concentrations.
The effect of acetylated rice (AR) starch at different concentrations (0, 4, 6, and 8%) on rheological properties of surimi sols and gels was studied. Dynamic frequency sweeps of surimi-AR starch sols at $10^{\circ}C$ showed that the magnitudes of storage moduli (G') decreased with an increase in starch concentration while those of tan ${\delta}$ increased, indicating that the effect of AR starch on the viscoelastic properties of surimi sols depended on starch concentration. In general, the G' thermograms of surimi sols showed the similar sol-gel transition pattern and they were also influenced by the addition of AR starch. The presence of AR starch in the surimi gel system reduced the gel strength and expressible moisture content (EMC). Surimi-AR starch gels showed better freeze-thaw stability compared to the control (0% starch concentration). The effect of AR starch on the rheological properties of surimi sols and gels appeared to be related to the swelling ability of starch granules in the presence of limited water available for starch.

Physicochemical, microbiological, and sensory properties of barleys irradiated by gamma ray at 1.2kGy, 10.1kGy, or 30.5kGy were investigated every 40 days during the storage at 25℃ and 50% relative humidity. Moisture content of the irradiated barleys decreased but crude lipid content increased during the storage. TBA values increased in proportion to the irradiation dose and to the storage period. In Hunter's color, L, a, and b values of 30.5kGy dose irradiated barleys were higher than those of the non irradiated barleys right after irradiation and this trend continued during the storage. Numbers of mesophilic and psychrophilic bacteria in the non irradiated barleys and 1.2kGy dose irradiated barleys were higher than those in the barleys irradiated at 10.1kGy and 30.5kGy during the storage. Numbers of yeasts and molds in the irradiated and non irradiated barleys were low and they did not greatly increase during the storage. In sensory evaluation, acidic odor of the barleys was strong at the 10.1kGy and 30.5 kGy dose irradiation but barley odor and humid odor were not significantly different among the groups depending upon the radiation dose and storage period.

The purpose of this study is to measure, compare, and investigate the physical properties of rayon/cotton blend fabrics treated with cellulase and cellulase & specific degeneration silicon and to present basic data which is in development a value-added fabric. The results are as follows. The condition for the treatment of cellulase was at 55$^{\circ}C$, pH 4 and the weight loss increased as the concentration of cellulase and the treated time increased. On treatment with cellulase, the crossectional view & longitudinal view of fiber noticed remarkable crack as weight loss increased and tensile strength and elongation decreased, and pilling was enhanced remarkably. KOSHI was increased, NUMERI and FUKURAMI were decreased as weight loss increased. In the basic characteristic value of clothing wearning, shape stability and drapability were decreased, but air content was improved. On treatment with cellulase & silicon, the degree of damage in the crossectional view & longitudinal view of the fiber reduced. Tensile strength, elongation, moisture regain improved. KOSHI and FUKURAMI were reduced, NUMERI was improved rather than when it was treated with cellulase. Therefore handle was improved. In the basic characteristic value of the clothing wearing, shape stability, air content, drapability were improved.
Establishment of a new concept of environmental friendly livestock manure management is required based on the facts. But now liquid fertilizer quality in korea shows a large difference among regions and the regulations are uncertain. Focusing on precedent study on main level-grading factors of liquid fertilizer quality certification, the study collected laws and standards related to liquid fertilizer of livestock manure at home and abroad and produced evaluation standards. Liquid fertilizer was divided into four factors (fertilizing value, harmfulness, stability and uniformity). According to each item, scores were awarded based on 16 details: fertilizing value (Nitrogen concentration, the whole concentration of Nitrogen, Phosphoric acid and Kalium), harmfulness (heavy metals, pathogenic microorganism and antibiotics), stability (maturity degree and odour), uniformity (EC, BOD, SS, moisture content and salt). The grade of liquid fertilizer, A (42~48), B (34~41), C (26~33) were rated using total scores.
Makgeolli lees is a jigaemi by product produced by makgeolli brew processing. Jigaemi has high fiber content and therefore can potentially be used in the development of foods rich in dietary fiber. The effects of makgeolli lees fibers on the composition and physico-chemical properties of chicken emulsion systems were studied. The moisture and ash contents, yellowness, and viscosity of chicken meat emulsion systems with makgeolli lees fiber were all higher than those of control. Moreover, chicken batters supplemented with makgeolli lees fiber were characterized by lower cooking loss and better emulsion stability. Chicken emulsion systems with makgeolli lees fiber also had improved emulsion stability and emulsion viscosity, and the best results were obtained with meat batter containing 2% makgeolli lees fiber.

The dyeing sludge can be weakened by inflow of rainfall or absorption of moisture after it is buried in a waste landfill. This study tested the dyeing sludge and earth/sand mixture to check the problem when the dehydrated dyeing sludge is buried in a waste landfill. When the dyeing sludge was left idle with high water content inside a landfill with poor draining for a long period, the water permeability decreased to around 3/100 level and the compressibility increased by 1.4 times compared to the dyeing sludge at a dyeing factory. The study result indicated that it was important to reduce the water content inside the landfill for stability. Also, the facilities to secure the drainage path and eliminate leachate were needed.
The optical property, the environmental stability and the crystallization of ZnS thin films prepared by ion-assisted deposition (IAD) were investigated and compared with those of conventional electron-beam deposited thin films. The humidity(R.H. 85%) test and the thermal(15$0^{\circ}C$) show that the IAD films have relatively higher refractive index, smaller extinction coefficient and environmentally more stable than the conventional films. It is believed to originate from the reduced adsorption of moisture which reflect the increased packing density and the improved microstructure by ion bombardment. XRD experiments also confirm that conventionally grown films have an amorphous in comparison with the crystalline structured IAD films.
The physical and chemical analyses of mineral waste such as moisture content, water absorption, freezing-thawing resisting sexual, chemical composition and crystal structure were investigated. In the technological process of crushing, screening, molding, drying, preheating, sintering and cooling, many parameters were changed to eliminate the influence of freeze thaw stability and the ball billets were processed into slate ceramsites eventually. Adopting orthogonal experiment and range analysis, the optimal technology parameters were confirmed as preheating temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ for 25 minutes and sintering temperature of $1230^{\circ}C$ for 20 minutes. Slate wastes in Shangri-la could foam and expand without any additive. The ultra-light ceramsite could be directly used as building aggregate, since the analysis results of its leaching toxicity were eligible. Besides, effects of sintering temperature on physical property and crystal phase were also explored in this study.
