DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL HYDRAULIC ROBOT(Part II) - Dynamic Characteristic of Hydraulic System

  • Agricultural hydraulic robot which was reported in Part Ⅰ had been developed . The robot satisfied performance to intend before development. For actual use, however, it have been necessary to reduce manipulator weigh and to simplify construction of hydraulic control valve. Then, working stress of manipulator link and pressure fluctuation of hydraulic circuit were measured. Step and frequency response tests were done subject to amplitude of reference voltage of 0.1 , 0.3 , 0.5 and 1.0v. and delivery pressure of 3.5 and 5.0MPa. Working stress were about 25% comparing with fatigue strength, Thus, mass of manipulator might be reduce to 30 %. In hydraulic control system, virtual natural frequency of 6.5Hz is produced from the combination of drain passage area shortage of servovalve. Further , because of passage area shortage , working pressure at both side of cylinder was acted on. This phenomenon prevent utilize effectively engine power. Then, control valve for new model was p oposed.

한주기 응답 기법을 적용한 벅 컨버터의 전류 모드 PWM 제어 (Current Mode PWM Control for the Buck Converter Using One Cycle Response)

  • 벅 컨버터 회로 평균모델를 이용하고 한주기 응답 기법을 적용한 전류모드 PWM 기법을 제안하였다. 이 제어기는 비선형 PWM 제어기로 스위칭 변수와 응답 기준과의 오차를 각 주기에서 0이 되도록 구현하였다. 그 결과, 시스템 전달함수는 폐루프 극점의 함수가 되어 설계가 용이하며 폐루프 특성이 향상되었다. 이 제어기에서 인덕터 전류의 상태 변수를 구현하기 위하여 전류모드를 이용하여 컨버터를 제어하였다. 제안한 PWM제어는 인덕터 전류 센서를 생략할 수 있으며 잡음 특성, 동특성이 기존 전류 모드 제어기에 비하여 많은 장점을 갖는다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 타당성을 입증하였다.

3상 PWM 정류기의 스위치 개방 고장 감지 및 허용운전 방법 (Switch Open Fault Detection and Tolerant Operation Method for Three Phase PWM Rectifier)

  • In this paper, the new open fault detection and tolerant operation method for 3 phase PWM rectifier is proposed. When open fault occurred on the inverter switches of 3 Phase PWM rectifier, the DC link voltage ripple is increased because the input current of the faulty phase is distorted. In this case, the quality of electric power would decrease, and the life time of DC link capacitor is decreased. The open fault is detected by a simple MRAS(Model Reference Adaptive System) without additional hardware sensors, and the tolerant operation carried out by turning on the opposite switch of the faulty switch without any redundancy. By the proposed method, the faulty phase input current can be controlled, so that 3-phase input current is balanced relatively under the faulty condition and the voltage ripple of DC link output is reduced. The validity of the proposed technique is proved on the 6kW 3-phase PWM rectifier system by simulation and experiment.

  • This paper presents a digital hardware implementation of a real-time simulator for a multiphase drive using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) device. The simulator was developed with a modular and hierarchical design using very high-speed integrated circuit hardware description language (VHDL). Hence, this simulator is flexible and portable. A state-space representation model suitable for FPGA implementations was proposed for a dual three-phase induction machine (DTPIM). The simulator also models a two-level 12-pulse insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT)-based voltage-source converter (VSC), a pulse-width modulation scheme, and a measurement system. Real-time simulation outputs (stator currents and rotor speed) were validated under steady-state and transient conditions using as reference an experimental test bench based on a DTPIM with 15 kW-rated power. The accuracy of the proposed digital hardware implementation was evaluated according to the simulation and experimental results. Finally, statistical performance parameters were provided to analyze the efficiency of the proposed DTPIM hardware implementation method.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업 환경에서 운용되는 실시간 시스템을 제어하기 위한 산업용 무선 네트워크를 구현하여 성능 평가를 하고자한다. 이를 위해 EtherCAT 유선 기술과 IEEE 802.15.4e 무선 기술이 혼합된 형태의 산업용 네트워크 구조를 제안하고, 성능 평가를 위한 실시간 시스템의 참조 모델로써 역진자 시스템을 고려하였다. 구현된 산업용 무선 네트워크의 성능평가를 통해 엄격한 요구조건하에서 동작하는 실시간 시스템에 적용 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다.

풍력터빈 타워 하중 저감을 위한 타워 댐퍼 게인 스케줄링 알고리즘 설계 (Design of Tower Damper Gain Scheduling Algorithm for Wind Turbine Tower Load Reduction)

  • This paper deals with the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) 5-MW reference wind turbine. The controller which include MPPT (Maximum power point tracking) control algorithm and tower load reduction control algorithm was designed by MATLAB Simulink. This paper propose a tower damper algorithm to improve the existing tower damper algorithm. To improve the existing tower damper algorithm, proposed tower damper algorithm were applied the thrust sensitivity scheduling and PI control method. The thrust sensitivity scheduling was calculated by thrust force formula which include thrust coefficient table. Power and Tower root moment DEL (Damage Equivalent Load) was set as a performance index to verify the load reduction algorithm. The simulation were performed 600 seconds under the wind conditions of the NTM (Normal Turbulence Model), TI (Turbulence Intensity)16% and 12~25m/s average wind speed. The effect of the proposed tower damper algorithm is confirmed through PSD (Power Spectral Density). The proposed tower damper algorithm reduces the fore-aft moment DEL of the tower up to 6% than the existing tower damper algorithm.

Design and Torque Ripple Analysis of Brush-less DC Motor According to Delta Winding Connection

  • In this study, we describe the design method of a Brush-less DC (BLDC) motor with delta winding connection. After designing delta winding connection model with the $60^{\circ}$ flat-top region of the Back Electro-Motive Force (BEMF), an ideal current source analysis and a voltage source analysis, with a 6-step control, were conducted primarily employing Finite Element Method. In addition, as a current controller, we considered the Current Regulator with PI controller using Simulink for the comparison of torque characteristics. When the input current is controlled, the switching regions and reference signals are determined by means of the phase BEMF zero-crossing point. In reality, the input current variation depends on the inductance as well as input voltage, and it causes a torque ripple after all. Therefore, each control method considered in this research showed different torque ripple results. Based on the comparison, the causes of the torque ripple have been verified in detail.

가속도제어에 근거한 강인한 직류서보전동기 위치제어계 (Robut DC Servo Motor Position Control System based on Acceleration Control)

  • 본 연구에서는 직류 서보전동기의 위치, 속도 및 토오크 등의 제어기법중 외란에 대해 강인한 것으로 평가되고 있는 기존의 가속도 제어기법을 해석하고 그 결과 적용상의 문제점으로 판단되는 계통 파라미터 변화에 대한 강인성을 개선하기 위한 대책으로서 변경된 가속도제어 루프를 포함한 위치제어계를 제안하고 이를 직류전동기의 위치제어게 적용하였다. 제안된 제어계는 가속도제어기와 자기종조 퍼지 PID 제어기로 구성되어 있으며 제안된 제어계와 기존의 가속도제어계와의 근복적 차이점은 이 제어기법의 핵심 요소라 할 수 있는 가속도 기준입력 정정량의 발생기구로서 고전적 PID제어기를 자동조정하는 자기동조 PID 제어방식을 채택하였다는 점이다. 이 기준입력 발생기구를 도입한 직류전동기 위치제어계의 성능을 검토하기 위하여 그 응답특성을 기존의 가속도제어 위치제어계의 응답특성과 비교한 결과 파라미터 변화에 대한 강인성, 과도 특성 및 정상상태 특성면에서 제안된 제어계가 매우 우월한 성능을 가짐을 확인하였다. 따라서 제안된 제어기법은 기존의 가속도제어에 근거한 위치제어계의 성능을 개선시켜줌으로써 이 제어기법의 적용범위 확대에 기여하며 특히 모델의 불확정성이 크거나 부하등 운전환경이 크게 변화하는 악조건 하에서의 정밀한 위치제어에 적용될 수 있다.

신축 주택의 톨루엔 발생량 모델을 이용한 건강위해성 평가 (Risk Assessment by Toluene Source Emission Model in Indoor Environments of New Houses)

  • Indoor air quality can be affected by indoor sources, ventilation, decay and outdoor levels. Understanding the effectiveness of indoor air quality control depends on knowledge of the characteristics of air pollutants in indoor air, especially their quantities and persistence, and the relevance of indoor sources to these factors. Toluene within new and established houses has been determined and factors significant to its presence have been identified. A total of 30 selected houses in Seoul, Asan and Daegu areas that were constructed within 4 years and over 4 years of construction were measured the concentration of toluene from July to September in 2004. Toluene emission decay of double-exponential model exhibited good fit of $Y=276.37e^{-1.21x}(R^{2}=0.34,\;P=0.06)$ for 2 years and then $Y=51.54e^{-0.11x}(R^{2}=0.40,\;P=0.0)$ from 23 years in new houses. In case of living in new houses, noncarcinogenic health effects of exposure to toluene was 1.38 of hazard quotient (HQ) comparing to toluene reference dose of 0.13 mg/kg-day.

디스펜서를 이용한 차량용 연료 탱크 수소 충전 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Modeling of Fueling Hydrogen Tank in Vehicle Using Dispenser)

  • Hydrogen energy as an alternative source of energy has been receiving tremendous support around the world, and research is being actively conducted accordingly. However, most of the studies focus on hydrogen storage tanks and only are few studies on interpreting the hydrogen filling system itself. In this study, with reference to SAE J2601, a hydrogen fueling protocol, a simulation model was developed that can confirm the behavior of the vehicle's internal tank during hydrogen fueling. With respect to factors such as fuel supply temperature, ambient temperature, and pressure increase rate, the developed model can check the change of temperature and pressure in the tank and the state of hydrogen charging during hydrogen fueling. The validity of the developed simulation model was confirmed by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results presented in SAE J2601.
