Analysis on the creep response of bolted rock using bolted burgers model

  • In this paper, the creep behavior of bolted rock was analyzed by using the unconfined creep tests and the numerical results. Based on the test results, the Bolted Burgers creep model (B-B model) was proposed to clarify the creep mechanism of rock mass due to rock bolts. As to the simulation of the creep behaviour of bolted rock, a new user-defined incremental iterative format of the B-B model was established and the open-source $FLAC^{3D}$ code was written by using the object-oriented language (C++). To check the reliability of the present B-B creep constitutive model program, a numerical model of a tunnel with buried depth of 1000 m was established to analyze the creep response of the tunnel with the B-B model support, the non-support and the bolt element support. The simulation results show that the present B-B model is consistent with the calculated results of the inherent bolt element in $FLAC^{3D}$, and the convergence deformation can be more effectively controlled when the proposed B-B model is used in the $FLAC^{3D}$ software. The big advantage of the present B-B creep model secondarily developed in the $FLAC^{3D}$ software is the high computational efficiency.

  • This research applies Blattberg's CE (customer equity) model to B2B business context. Through the model we estimate customer lifetime value of a Korean semiconductor manufacturer. The results show that Blattberg model has limiting applicability to B2B business context. To overcome the limits, several suggestions were made. The main suggestion was predicting maintenance costs for different customers groups and including decision variables regarding marketing costs that would help building a differentiated CE model for the B2B business context.

  • We firstly tried to understand consumers' purchasing tendencies and mainly focused on designing a platform model that offers integrated support. C2B (Customer to Business) orders integrate with a consumption platform of a B2C (Business to Customer) model, and integrated support aims at design, supply, processing, and distribution of a fashion business. All the information such as orders, sales, production, supply, and settlement of accounts is synchronized under the C2B, B2C, and O2O (Online to Offline) environment so that accurate information can be shared in real time. Our platform automatically handles with a net income of a product designer, manufacturer, and shipping company once shipping is confirmed.

  • The purpose of the study is to derive success factors of B2C reverse auction business model, a business model contributes to the recent innovative practices in e-commerce and service sector. Electronic reverse auction has been traditionally used to ensure the procurement convenience and purchasing efficiency in B2B or B2G settings, however, e-RA is now expanding its basis toward B2C commerce industry along the huge success of an online e-RA travel service provider Priceline.com. Recently, B2C e-RA business model is getting the spotlight in the Korean venture industry with a variety of startups in diverse areas. However, e-RA does not work perfect in all kinds of trade settings. Therefore, we conducted a multiple case study to find out the success factors of B2C business model as follows : First, large supplier basis is an important factor that constructs a quasi-perfect competition environment. Second, the high online and mobile accessibility or e-readiness of Korean consumers was also a critical aspect of the success of e-RA. Lastly, e-RA performs best when the supplier switching cost is low and the trading occurs infrequently.

  • 유역의 하천형태학적 특성은 그 유역의 수문 및 수리학적특성과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있다. 본연구는 우리나라 중부지방의 중소하천에 대한 계획하폭을 산정하는 공식을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 계획홍수량과 유역면적 및 하천연장의 자료로서 하폭을 얻는데 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. : (1) 계획홍수량(Q)과 하폭(B)의 관계로 나타낸 하폭식은 $B=1.532A^{0.644.}$; (2) 유역면적(A)과 하폭(B)과의 관계로 나타낸 하폭식은 $B=12.392A^{0.511}$; (3) 하천연장(L)과 하폭(B)과의 관계로 나타낸 하폭식은 $B=10.509l^{0.852}$.

주식수익률, 위험, 장부가치 / 시장가치 비율의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relations among Stock Return, Risk, and Book-to-Market Ratio)

  • This paper examines the time-series relations among expected return, risk, and book-to-market(B/M) at the portfolio level. The time-series analysis is a natural alternative to cross-sectional regressions. An alternative feature of the time-series regressions is that they focus on changes in expected returns, not on average returns. Using the time-series analysis, we can directly test whether the three-factor model explains time-varying expected returns better than the characteristic-based model. These results should help distinguish between the risk and mispricing stories. We find that B/M is strongly associated with changes in risk, as measured by the Fama and French(1993) three-factor model. After controlling for changes in risk, B/M contains little additional information about expected returns. The evidence suggests that the three-factor model explains time-varying expected returns better than the characteristic-based model.

LTS Semantics Model of Event-B Synchronization Control Flow Design Patterns

  • The Event-B design pattern is an excellent way to quickly develop a formal model of the system. Researchers have proposed a number of Event-B design patterns, but they all lack formal behavior semantics. This makes the analysis, verification, and simulation of the behavior of the Event-B model very difficult, especially for the control-intensive systems. In this paper, we propose a novel method to transform the Event-B synchronous control flow design pattern into the labeled transition system (LTS) behavior model. Then we map the design pattern instantiation process of Event-B to the instantiation process of LTS model and get the LTS behavior semantic model of Event-B model of a multi-level complex control system. Finally, we verify the linear temporal logic behavior properties of the LTS model. The experimental results show that the analysis and simulation of system behavior become easier and the verification of the behavior properties of the system become convenient after the Event-B model is converted to the LTS model.

쌍끌이 중층트롤어법의 연구 ( 1 ) - 모형어구의 망구형상에 관하여 - ( A Study on the Pair Midwater Trawling ( 1 ) - Mouth Performance of the Model Net - )

  • A model experiment on the pair midwater trawl net applicable to 800 PS class Korean pair bottom trawlers was carried out in the special-prepared experimental thank. the tank was prepared as a reverse trapezoid shape in its vertical section by digging out flat soil. The dimension of the tank showed the 9.6 W$\times$43.0 L(m) of the upper fringe and the 4.8 W$\times$38.0 L(m) of the bottom with 3.0m in depth. The depth of water was maintained 2.7m during experiment. The model net was prepared based on the Tauti's similarity law of fishing gear in 1/30 scale considering the dimension of the experimental tank. Mouth performance of the model net during towing were determined by the photographs taken in front of the net mouth with the combinations of towing velocity, warp length and distance between paired boats. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. Vertical opening of the model nets A and B was varied in the range of 0.18~0.88 m and 0.21~0.78 m (which can be converted into 5.4~26.4m and 6.3~23.4 m in the full-scale net) respectively, and was varied predominantly by towing speed. Horizontal opening of the model nets An and b was varied in the range of 1.03~1.54m and 1.04~1.55 m (which can be converted into 30.9~46.2 m and 31.2~46.5m in the full-scale net) respectively, and was varied predominantly by distance between paired boats. Horizontal opening (W, appendixes are as same as the former) an be expressed as the function of distance between paired boats $D_b$as in the model net $W_{mA}$=0.69+0.09$D_b$ $W{mB}$=0.73+0.09$D_b$, in the full-scale net $W_{fA}$=20.81+0.09$D_b$ $W_{fB}$=22.11+0.09$D_b$ 3. Net opening area of the model net A and B was varied in the range of 0.28~1.04 $m^2$ and 0.33~0.94$m^2$(which can be converted into 252~936$m^2$ and 297~846$m^2$ in the full-scale net) respectively, and was varied predominantly by towing velocity. Net opening area ($S$, appendixes are as same as the former) van be expressed as the function of towing velocity$V_t$ as in the model net $v_t$ : m/sec) $S_{Ma}$=2.01$e^{-1.54V_T}$ $S_{mA}$=1.40$e^{-1.65V_t}$, in the full-scale net ($V_t$ : k't) $S_{fA}$=1.807$e^-0.35V_t$ $S_{fA}$=1.265$e^{-0.24V_t}$. 4. Filtering volume of the model nets A and B was varied in the range of 0.32~0.55 $m^3$ and 0.37~0.55$m^3$(which can be converted into 8.640~14.850 $m^3$ and 9.990~14.850$m3$in the full~scale net) respectively, and was predominantly varied by towing speed. filtering volume of the model net-A showed the maximum at the towing speed 0.69 m/sec(3 k't in the full-scale net), compared with that of the model net B showed at 0.92 m/sec(4 k't in the full-scale net).

자동차 서포트빔의 구조해석에 대한 융합 연구 (A Convergent Study on the Structural Analysis of Automotive Support Beam)

  • 본 연구에서는 Model A와 Model B 그리고 Model C의 총 3가지의 차축 모델을 이용하여 차축에 하중이 가해졌을 때의 차량 서포트빔에 대한 구조해석을 하였다. 3가지의 Model A, B, C를 비교해 보았을 때 등가응력은 Model C가 재료의 항복 응력보다 작게 나와서 그 내구성면에서 좋다고 사료된다. Model A와 Model B에서 발생한 최대 등가응력들은 항복응력보다 각각 1.8배와 2.5배이상 발생되어 재료가 파단됨을 보여 주고 있어 서포트빔으로서는 효율적으로 보이지 않는다. Model C가 Model A와 Model B에 비하여 그 내구성면에 있어서 효율적으로 차축 서포트 빔의 설계 향상에 응용할 수 있다. 본 연구 결과를 자동차 부품에 적용함으로서 자동차 서포트빔의 강도를 평가할 수 있다. 그리고 본 연구가 실제적으로 효율적인 설계와 미적인 융합에 적합하다고 보인다.

A Conceptual Model of a B2B Food Distribution Platform Based on Blockchain Consensus Mechanism

  • We proposed a B2B food distribution platform by transforming an established food distribution and management platform based on blockchain technology. Our proposed model introduced a method to bring innovation into the domestic B2B food distribution market and systematically manage and utilize massive data (country of origin, producer, transaction, distributor, final consumer) generated within the food distribution process.
