무선인터넷 망 접속료 산정 방안 (Interconnection Pricing for Mobile Internet Network)

  • The explosive growth in wireless networks and Internet services has created considerable demand for mobile Internet services based on the mobile phone. Mobile Internet has become the new business model in telecommunication market, therefore the open network policy for mobile Internet has been formulated and implemented by the government in Korea. In spite of the open network policy for mobile Internet, there has been no systematic analysis of the various interconnection issues, including pricing, in mobile Internet network. This paper aims to suggest the interconnection pricing methods for mobile Internet network by reviewing the current pricing models for various communications services, and adapting them to mobile Internet communications circumstances. Results of this paper can be used as a guideline for government policy directions and management decision making after the introduction of the open network policy for mobile Internet.

A Study of the Performance Prediction Models of Mobile Graphics Processing Units

  • Currently mobile services are on the verge of full commercialization ahead of 5G mobile communication (5G). The first goal could be to preempt the 5G market through realistic media services utilizing VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) technologies that users can most easily experience. Basically this movement is based on the advanced development of smart devices and high quality graphics processing computing power of mobile application processors. Accordingly, the importance of mobile GPUs is emerging and the most concern issue becomes a model for predicting the power and performance for smooth operation of high quality mobile contents. In many cases, the performance of mobile GPUs has been introduced in terms of power consumption of mobile GPUs using dynamic voltage and frequency scaling and throttling functions for power consumption and heat management. This paper introduces several studies of mobile GPU performance prediction model with user-friendly methods not like conventional power centric performance prediction models.

OpenVSLAM 기반의 협력형 모바일 SLAM 시스템 설계 (OpenVSLAM-based Cooperative Mobile AR System Architecture)

  • In this paper, we designed, implemented, and verified the SLAM system that can be used on mobile devices. Mobile SLAM is composed of a stand-alone type that directly performs SLAM operation on a mobile device, and a mapping server type that additionally configures a mapping server based on FastAPI to perform SLAM operation on the server and transmits data for map visualization to a mobile device. The mobile SLAM system proposed in this paper is to mix the two types in order to make SLAM operation and map generation more efficient. The stand-alone type SLAM system was configured as an Android app by porting the OpenVSLAM library to the Unity engine, and the map generation and performance were evaluated on desktop PCs and mobile devices. The mobile SLAM system in this paper is an open source project, so it is expected to help develop AR contents based on SLAM in a mobile environment.

  • The high-speed mobile Internet has recently been expanded, many attractive services are provided. However, these services require some form of security-related technology. This paper outlines Japanese mobile services and exposits some mobile security topics including mobile spam, mobile malware, mobile DRM system, mobile WiMAX security, and mobile key management.

  • 모바일 웹 브라우징 서비스는 컴퓨터 환경에서의 인터넷 경험을 고객의 휴대기기에서 가능하게 해 주는 새로운 서비스이다. 본 연구는 모바일 웹 브라우징 서비스의 사용 의도를 조사하기 위하여 정보기술 수용을 설명하는데 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 하여, 최근 기술수용 문헌에서 중요한 요인으로 인식되고 있는 자기효능감을 컴퓨터 자기효능감과 모바일 자기효능감으로 구분하여 실증 분석을 실시하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 기존의 문헌에서 제시되지 않았던 모바일 자기효능감의 개념을 명확히 하고, 이 개념을 측정하기 위한 측정 도구를 개발하였다. 연구 결과는 컴퓨터 자기효능감과 모바일 자기효능감이 사용 용이성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 제시해 주었으며, 기존의 TAM에서 제시한 연구가설이 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 모바일 효능감에 대한 연구 결과는 향후 지속적으로 출현할 다양한 모바일 서비스에 대한 고객의 사용 의도를 분석함에 있어 중요한 변수로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 휴대폰 사용이 포화상태에 이르고, 최근 iPhone을 비롯한 Smart Phone의 사용이 급격히 증가하고 있다. 현재 휴대폰에서 포렌식 자료 추출하는 방법은 SYN, JTAG, Revolving 세가지 방법이 있다. 하지만 휴대폰과 Smart Phone의 기술과 사용방법의 차이로 인하여 포렌식 자료 추출 방법도 달라야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Smart Phone에서의 포렌식 자료 추출 방법을 연구하고자 한다. Smart Phone에서는 많이 사용되는 Google Android와 Windows Mobile Smart Phone의 분석을 위하여 스펙과 O.S. 분석, 데이터 분석을 한다. 또한 Google Android와 Windows Mobile Smart Phone의 포렌식 자료를 추출하여 증거자료를 생성한다. 본 연구를 통하여 실험된 기술 연구는 모바일 Smart Phone 포렌식 기술 발전에 기여할 것이다.

모바일뱅킹 사용의도의 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of Intention to Use Mobile Banking)

  • Mobile technologies and services have become one of the inevitable parts of people's lives and mobile businesses have also been widespread. Popular mobile internet services through cell phones have made people in the financial industry consider that 'mobile' is promising. Nevertheless, there have been little studies of mobile services in the financial industry and most of the studies have been concentrated on internet services. The main purpose of this study is to investigate on the determinants of intention to use mobile banking. To achieve the goal, based on the theoretical backgrounds of the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). Survey questionnaires were distributed via post & email to 500 users who have been experiences with cell phone and have an account. Out of 291 responded questionnaires, 275 data sets were available for statistical analysis with SPSS 10.1. Research hypotheses are analyzed by LISREL 8.30. Factor analysis identified seven external factors : (1) convenience, (2) cost, (3) unusefulness, (4) riskiness, (5) personal innovativeness (6) users' self-efficacy (7) experience of mobile services. Results of this study show that convenience, unusefulness, riskiness, personal innovativeness and experience of mobile services have significant effects on intention to use mobile banking . Much of the previous researches have dealt with service provider only and have focused on mobile internet. In this regard, when it comes to a viewpoint that regards the mobile banking sector as a new sector of mobile businesses. This study may provide a guideline to activate of mobile banking acceptance.

A Study on the Preparation of Standardized Operation Criteria for Enhancement of Safety and Convenience of Mobile Electronic Notice Service

  • Due to the expansion of non-face-to-face services, the demand for user identification for mobile devices is increasing. Recently, mobile resident registration cards, mobile driver's licenses, etc. are installed in mobile phones and used for user identification and authentication services. In order to identify a user online, unique identification information of the online user is required. In particular, in order to provide information only to online users, it is necessary to accurately deliver information to a mobile device owned by the user. To make this service possible, it was realized with the advent of mobile electronic notice service. However, the identification of online service users and information on mobile devices owned or subscribed by the relevant users require safe management as personal information, and it is also necessary to increase the convenience of online service users. In this paper, we propose an operating standard for providing a mobile electronic notice service that sends electronic notice using a mobile device owned by the user. The mobile electronic notice service is a service that provides notices expressed in electronic information to the recipient's cell phone, mobile app, e-mail, etc. Therefore, as the use of mobile electronic notification service increases and the provision and use of connecting information to identify users increases, it is necessary to expand the mobile electronic notification service while safely protecting users' personal information.

Mobile Healthcare System Based on Bluetooth Medical Device

  • Recently healthcare industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare service technology is growing significantly. Mobile healthcare has attracted big attention due to IT convergence technology. Paradigm of healthcare has been changed from the 1st generation(communicable disease prevention) and the 2nd generation(treatment of disease due to extended life expectancy) to the 3rd generation(extended life expectancy due to prevention and control). In our study, we suggest the 3rd generation mobile healthcare system using Bluetooth based wearable ECG monitoring system and smart phone technology. The mobile healthcare system consists of wearable shirts with Bluetooth communication module, ECG sensor, battery, and mobile phone. The ECG data is obtained by a miniaturized sensor and the data is transferred to a mobile phone using Bluetooth communication. Then, user can monitor his/her own ECG signal on an application using Android in mobile phone. The Bluetooth communication device is used due to highly reliable data transmission property and the Bluetooth chip is embedded in every mobile phone. The wearable shirts with chest belt of Bluetooth ECG module is designed with a focus on convenience in the daily life of a wearer. The ECG signal evaluation software in Android based mobile phone is developed for the health check and the ECG signal variation is tested according to the activities of the wearer such as walking, climbing stairs, stand up and sit down, and so on.
