  • An environment in which the software is operated become more complex and changed dynamically. Such software requires the ability to adapt in accordance with operating environments, by monitoring the changes of user requirements and operating environments. Especially, the mobile device used in military operation requires more dynamical adaptation than the mobile device in normal environment. In this paper, we propose MOSAIC architecture based on Self-Adaptive Software suitable for military mobile device and verify the results. The proposed architecture consists of context manager, evaluation manager and adaptation manager. We simulate the MOSAIC architecture by modelling PRE(Position Reporting Equipment) used in the army and verify four types of operational mode and dynamical reconfiguration of user interface.

  • Invisible networks have hidden bits flows from human being and become the periphery in the Internet overload; technologies become invisible and everywhere computing. The appearance of the calm environment requires a new relationship between human being and machines and geographic features: a paradigm shift. However no one says what next steps to those environments on details are, a reason why lots of people focus on the endeavors. In this paper, we touch the geographic features on ubiquitous environments and research the transition step of GIS mobile applications in order to achieve a natural integration of connectivity, capability and functionality.

  • In existing mobile computing environments, users need to choose between their privacy and the services that they can receive from an application. However, existing mobile platforms do not allow users to perform such trade-offs in a fine-grained manner. In this study, we investigate whether users can effectively make utility-privacy trade-offs when they are provided with a multilevel privacy control method that allows them to recognize the different quality of service that they will receive from an application by limiting the disclosure of their private information in multiple levels. We designed a research model to observe users' utility-privacy trade-offs in accordance with the privacy control methods and other factors such as the trustworthiness of an application, quality level of private information, and users' privacy preferences. We conducted a user survey with 516 participants and found that, compared with the existing binary privacy controls, both the service utility and the privacy protection levels were significantly increased when the users used the multilevel privacy control method.

  • Due to the rapid performance improvement of smartphones, multitasking on mobile platforms has become an essential feature. Unlike traditional desktop or server environments, mobile applications are mostly interactive jobs where response time is important, and some applications are classified as real-time jobs with deadlines. When interactive and real-time jobs run concurrently, memory allocation between multitasking applications is a challenging issue as they have different time requirements. In this paper, we study how to allocate memory space when real-time and interactive jobs are simultaneously executed in a smartphone to meet the multitasking requirements between heterogeneous jobs. Specifically, we analyze the memory size required to satisfy the constraints of real-time jobs and present a new model for allocating memory space between heterogeneous multitasking jobs. Trace-driven simulations show that the proposed model provides reasonable performance for interactive jobs while guaranteeing the requirement of real-time jobs.

  • Mobile Cloud Computing services anywhere, anytime access to the Internet via a mobile terminal means to provide services, speakers are called Mobiloud. Computing processing power limitations of mobile devices, storage, due to space constraints, the tasks handled by mobile devices and data processing services to move to cloud environments. In recent years, smartphone, tablet PC and mobile device companies and individuals to spread and spread, and the content of the accelerating cloud painters, mobile cloud that can communicate with each other requires a standard service.

  • Recently, IETF (Internet Engineering Task) working group has adopted CoAP (Constrained Application Protocol) as a standard IoT proctocol. CoAP is a specialized web transfer protocol for use with constrained nodes and constrained environment such as small memory and low power networks. In this paper, we design and implement a registration service with CoAP protocol based on RD(Resource Directory) to connect IoT nodes in mobile Internet environments. The resource directory between the mobile terminal and IoT nodes provides to discover the IoT nodes and get the context data. The mobile terminal has as the CoAP client and embedded IoT nodes includes as the CoAP server so that it can conveniently manage the constrained IoT nodes to get the context data and control devices in a mobile environments.

  • A variety of routing protocols targeted specifically at mobile ad-hoc network environments have been developed. Mobile ad-hoc network is a self-organizing temporary network, operating without the aid of any established wired infrastructure. The proposed protocol supports seamless communication services between the mobile hosts within a mobile ad-hoc network environments. In particular, our protocol makes faster route re-establishment possible by maintaining multiple paths in each mobile host, and also, the protocol provides reliable communication environments. We compare the performance of RWP model with that of LW model. This paper shows delivery ratio with single path and non-disjoint multiple path according to mobility model and node numbers.

  • In 4G environments, which is the next generation technology for mobile network, it is forecasted that the wireless Internet using a mobile devices such as a mobile phone, PDA will increase because of expansion of Internet and integration of heterogeneous networks. Therefore, we need a Digital ID management technology that can prevent illegal uses and manage private information efficiently in wired and wireless environments. In this paper, we analyze various Digital ID management technologies, and then define requirements of user-centric Digital ID management technology. In addition, we newly propose the authentication mechanism for mobile applications in LTE/SAE network. Finally, we propose the mobile Digital ID Wallet mechanism suitable for 4G environments.

  • The mobile environment which is based on the Internet is expanding the area of the web information systems. The mobile Internet is expanding mobile content and services due to the development of wireless network technology, the proliferation of smart terminal devices, and the emergence of a variety of mobile services platforms. A mobile web is to access to the Internet service using a mobile network or other wireless network using a smart phone or a mobile device. Recently, it is to increase the smart phone usage rapidly in the country, and many companies is entering the mobile market. There are increasing need for this operation plan of a mobile web information system. In this paper, we compared the COBIT, ITIL, the SLA, which are the International Information Systems operation standards, and the information system operation standards of Korea Information Security Agency. We analyzed the suitability of the mobile environment and information system operating instructions, and we compared mobile web, operating environments and the ITIL V3.
