Runoff of non-point pollutants has affected bad influence to water quality of river as reaching within short time. For this reason, reducing them prior to reaching aquatic systems or treating them after collection from discharge process of pollutants are desirable for efficient treatment of pollutants. This study was carried out to develop an ecotechnological method to prevent further aggravation of water quality by non-point source through vegetation filter strips. This study has placed a focus on improving infiltration capacity of soil for the optimum condition of vegetation filter strips. Therefore, we used titled soil filter strips instead of vegetation filter strips in this study. The three types of soil tilter strips were used in a bench scale experiment before applying to the field. The reduction efficiency of pollutants in soil filter strips (SS $84.5{\sim}92.5%$, BOD $67.9{\sim}80.6%$, T-N $43.4{\sim}76.6%$, T-P $40.6{\sim}87.4%$, Cu $28.3{\sim}48.1%$ Fe $92.1{\sim}97.7%$, Pb $81.4{\sim}97.3%$) was much higher than that of the controled group. And non-point pollutants reduction efficiency by soil filter strip's forms was estimated to be distinguishing in order of bio material, mixture of sand and gravel and lastly the whole gravel. In the event, the whole reduction efficiency of pollutants on the soil filter strips disclosed good results.
Grinding aid is a necessary unit operation when the raw materials are handled in solid form, and the purpose is to improve the bioavailability by reducing the particle size. For the particle design of pefloxacin, the dry planetary ball-mill was used. With the drying process, 330 g of zirconia ball with its size of 2 mm in diameter and 10 g of pefloxacin were transferred to the pot and mixed well. The mixture was ground at 112 rpm (60 Hz) for 15, 30, and 60 min, respectively. The most satisfactory grinding products were generated at 15 min of grinding time for their particle size. The volume mean diameter $\X_50$ of the grinding products was 2.97 $\mu$m. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and infrared spectroscopy (IR) patterns were relatively unchanged before pulverizing pefloxacin and in the progress of grinding. Thus, these results suggest that this pulverizing method can be used for grinding products without evident effect on stability of the drug pefloxacin. Dissolution test was carried out to set up the optimal detective condition against residual antibacteria of fish by HPLC. The grinding pefloxacin for 15 min is most effective in dissolution test.
Scutellariae radix has been used on the control of body fever as oriental medicine for thousand years. Analytical aspect for the main components of Scutellariae radix was set up improving sensitivity and resolution. The analysis of 3 different flavonoids present in Scutellariae radix-baicalin, baicalein, wogonin-was conducted by means of high performance liquid chromatography with ODS reverse phase column in conjunction with a Photo Diode Array UV detector(280nm) at $40^{\circ}C$. Mobile phase was carried out at 1mL/min, composed of acetonitrile and 0.1M phosphoric acid in the form of a gradient method. Under these circumstances the retention time for baicalin, baicalein, wogonin was 7.65, 11.65 and 14.12 minutes respectively. As a result for the efficiency on extraction of active ingredients with proposed analytical process according to it's growing districts, Sunchang in Junbuk for baicalin and Bulkyo in, Junnam for bicalein and wogonin have shown the best results. Even the extraction at room temperature was satisfactory. Among acids, 0.1M acetic acid revealed the best achievements. The mixture of acetonitrile and 0.2M phosphoric acid(75:25) has been shown the best efficiency as well as stability for the extraction of active ingredients.

We have investigated the deposition characteristics of Ti-Si-N films obtained by rf magnetron sputtering with ratios of Ti/Si targets in an $Ar/N_2$ gas mixture. The growth rate and stoichiometry dependence of the Ti-Si-N films on the ratio of Ti/Si and $N_2$ flow rate ratio were found to be due to the different nitriding rate of Ti and Si targets. Additionally, their different sputtering yield of nitrified Ti and Si make a reason as well. Lowering Si content in the film favored the formation of crystalline TiN, leading to the low resistivity. Increasing N content led to the Ti-Si-N films having a higher density and compressive stress, suggesting that the N content in the film is one of the most important factors determining the diffusion barrier characteristics. In the current work, the optimum process conditions for the formation of efficient diffusion barrier of Ti-Si-N film has successfully obtained by manipulating the Ti/Si ratio of target and $N_2$ flow rate ratio.

The organic materials included in excreta of livestock are important resources for organic manure and for improving soil quality, although there is still far from effective using. One reason for this is still unclearly standard of quality for evaluation of manure made from excreta of livestock. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop rapid and accurate analytical method for analyzing organic compositions of manure made from excreta of livestock, and to establish quality evaluation method based on the compositions predicted by near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS). Sixteen samples of manure, each eight samples prepared from two treatments, were used in this study. The manure samples were prepared by mixing 560 kg feces of swine,60 kg sawdust with moisture content was adjusted to be 65%. The mixture was then keep under two kinds of shelter, black and clear sheets, as a treatment on the effect of sunlight. Samples were taken in every week (form week-0 to 7) during the process of manure making. Samples were analyzed to determine neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and acid detergent lignin (ADL) by detergent methods, and organic cell wall (OCW) and fibrous content of low digestibility in OCW (Ob) by enzymatic methods. Biological oxygen demand (BOD) was analyzed by coulometric respirometer method. These compositions were carbohydrateds and lignin that were hardly digested. Spectra of samples were scanned by NIR instrument model 6500 (Pacific Scientific) and read over the range of wavelength between 400 and 2500nm. Calibration equations were developed using eight manure samples collected from black sheet shelter, while prediction was conducted to the other eight samples from clear sheet shelter. Accuracy of NTRS prediction was evaluated by correlation coefficients (r), standard error of prediction (SEP) and ration of standard deviation of reference data in prediction sample set to SEP (RPD). The r, SEP and RPD value of forage were 0.99, 0.69 and 7.6 for ADL, 0.96, 1.03 and 4.1 for NDF, 0.98, 0.60 and 4.9 for ADF, 0.92, 1.24 and 2.6 for Ob, and 0.91, 1.02 and 7.3 for BOD, respectively. The results indicated that NIRS could be used to measure the organic composition of forage used in manure samples.
A heat-resisting diatomite protection tube, using diatomite as a main component, was manufactured through an extrusion molding of ceramic slurry in different component ratios. And its mechanical strength, carbon analysis and microstructural non-homogeneity were investigated. After fixing $60wt\%$ of porous diatomite whose particle size was $50\~100\;{\mu}m$, the optimum mixture ratio with composition variables by changing $1\;wt\%$ of each component that was silica sol$(4.3\~7.3\;wt\%)$ as an inorganic binder, CMC (Sodium CarboxyMethyl Cellulose $(6\~9\;wt\%)$) as an organic binder and paper powder$(4.7\~7.7\;wt\%)$ was obtained. As a result of the investigation on a composition containing $60\;wt\%$ diatomite, $5.3\;wt\%$ silica sol, and $7\;wt\%$ CMC, a heat-resisting protection tube that could be used as a molten steel probe for measuring the temperature and components of molten steel was developed. The bending strength, compressive strength, and elastic modulus of the protection tube developed, that contained $\le2.3\;wt\%$ carbon, were 7.1 MPa, 7.5 MPa, and 1090 MPa, respectively.
Conductive SiC-$ZrB_2$ composites were produced by subjecting a 40:60 (vol%) mixture of zirconium diboride (ZrB2) powder and ${\beta}$-silicon carbide (SiC) matrix to spark plasma sintering (SPS). Sintering was carried out for 5 min in an argon atmosphere at a uniaxial pressure and temperature of 50 MPa and $1500^{\circ}C$, respectively. The composite sintered at a heating speed of $25^{\circ}C$/min and an on/off pulse sequence of 12:2 was denoted as SZ12L. Composites SZ12H, SZ48H, and SZ10H were obtained by sintering at a heating speed of $100^{\circ}C$/min and at on/off pulse sequences of 12:2, 48:8, and 10:9, respectively. The physical, electrical, and mechanical properties of the SiC-$ZrB_2$ composites were examined and thermal image analysis of the composites was performed. The apparent porosities of SZ12L, SZ12H, SZ48H, and SZ10H were 13.35%, 0.60%, 12.28%, and 9.75%, respectively. At room temperature, SZ12L had the lowest flexural strength (286.90 MPa), whereas SZ12H had the highest flexural strength (1011.34 MPa). Between room temperature and $500^{\circ}C$, the SiC-$ZrB_2$ composites had a positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PTCR) and linear V-I characteristics. SZ12H had the lowest PTCR and highest electrical resistivity among all the composites. The optimum SPS conditions for the production of energy-friendly SiC-$ZrB_2$ composites are as follows: 1) an argon atmosphere, 2) a constant pressure of 50 MPa throughout the sintering process, 3) an on/off pulse sequence of 12:2 (pulse duration: 2.78 ms), and 4) a final sintering temperature of $1500^{\circ}C$ at a speed of $100^{\circ}C$/min and sintering for 5 min at $1500^{\circ}C$.
Creativity refers to the ability to generate novel and useful ideas. Understanding the mechanism of creativity and its enhancement is important in order to solve major problems of the modern society and to improve the wellness of mankind. Creativity is a highly heterogeneous and complex ability which should not be conceptualized as a single entity. Thus, the current literature on creativity is based on a component process approach to creativity. The present study introduces cognitive neuroscience research studying the mechanism of divergent thinking, insight, relational thinking and artistic creativity which are the major components of creativity. Based on an expansive review, the early hypothesis of hemispheric asymmetry emphasizing the importance of the right as opposed to the left hemisphere is not supported by scientific evidence. In addition, there is no consensus or consistency on which specific brain region is related to a certain component of creativity. In fact, there is a mixture of studies reporting involvement of various brain regions across all four lobes of the brain. This inconsistency in the literature most likely reflects heterogeneity of the component processes of creativity and sensitivity of the neural response to differences across tasks and cognitive strategy. The present study introduces examples of representative studies reporting seminal findings on the neural basis and the enhancement of creativity based on innovative methodology. In addition, we discuss limitations of the current cognitive neuroscience approach to creativity and present directions for future research.
High temperature thermal behaviors of EAF dust by coke at initial reaction stage were studied to obtain the fundamental data of EAF dust treatment process, that is Extended Arc Plasma Furnace System called RAPID system. In this study thermal behaviors including calcination of limestone, devolatilization of EAF dust itself, and reduction & devolatilization of mixture(EAF dust : coke : limestone = 80 : 10 : 10 wt.%) were investigated as functions of reaction temperature (1000~1300$^{\circ}C$) and reaction time (3~12 min), considering the 180% equivalence of carbon reduction and 1.7 bacisity for optimum reduction and melting of EAF dust in the RAPID system. Size of sample was about below 0.1 mm for these experiments. Limestone was completely calcined at above 1100$^{\circ}C$ within 1 minutes. In the case of devolatilization of EAF dust itself, weight loss of EAF dust was about 14% at 1300$^{\circ}C$ and 12 minutes, and partial sintering and melting were found in part of sample. Weight loss of mixtures increased with increasing reaction temperature and time, about 46% weight loss in it was occurred at 1300$^{\circ}C$ and 12 minutes. From these weight losses showing devolatilization and reduction of EAF dust, the treatment time of EAF dust inside.
This study was conducted to find a more rational way of inheriting and developing tra-ditional Korean HanBok children wear by means of looking at the color and shapes of traditional Korean HanBok and also to find a way to apply this to today's children HanBok wear. The process taken was first to study re-lated literature and its theories and to research museums to find what few traditional HanBok there are and then to compare these findings with new books and personal pieces kept by individuals. We also compared with HanBok children wear now sold at markets. The results of these findings show the fol-lowing conclusions and recommendations: We have found that modern children HanBok utilized the same yellow blouse and red skirt combination as before. These nearly in all cases represented the colors for girls. To most koreans these combination colors are a representation of traditional children wear nat-urally accepted by most koreans without any resistance. Also a definite relation with tra-ditional and modern children wear in the sense of color and shape wear hard to substantiate but we could find harmony between the two. In other words a mixture of modern shapes and traditional colors could be found or vice versa. This is an important factor to be con-sidered when trying to inherit traditional hanBok cuture. Modern times has seen great change in lifestyle feelings and social environ-ment,. In order to create harmony between tra-dition and present day customs a certain mix-ture is required. Therefore we need to maximize traditional flavor and design with present day design emotions. Another issue is that right now children hanBok is only being utilized on a restricted scale. It is a shame that in today's children HanBok that added to the skirt pants and overall wear that the head wear purse and other accessories are not being used. There-fore the HanBok culture especially for the correct succession of children hanBok must refrain from such restricted use of accessories and work to advertise the widespread use of proper Hanbok wear thereby upholding the rightful use of HanBok. As I have mentioned in my other studies it is ones momory of early HanBok wear which greatly affects a grown-up so we should wear hanBok in the right way from an early age and become accustome to its shapes and colors thereby become friendly with traditional HanBok wear. This I believe will lead to overcoming prejudice and disapproval of hanBok and to a more affirm-ative view towards our cultural heritage, Looking from a design point of view inter-national design of a nation's traditional wear can only come from a correct understanding of ones traditions this then becoming a foun-dation for creative design. Seen from these aspects a re-cretion through the meaningful activities of studying traditional shapes and colors of hanBok is the beat way to forming a true HanBok tradition.
