서울시 주상복합건물의 지역별 주거 특성 (The Regionally Specific Residential Characteristics of ′Residential-Commercial Mixed Use Buildings′ in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 고급화$.$대형화 경향을 보이면서 인근지역에 집적하고 있는 서울시 주상복합건물을 대상으로 '새로운 유형의 주택'에 의해 형성되고 있는 새로운 '주거지역'이라는 관점에서 이들의 주거특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 주상복합건물 집적지역의 주거특성이 분화된 주거지역적 성격을 나타내고 있는지, 그리고 이들 지역은 도시공간구조적 계층성과 관련하여 볼 때 지역별로 차별적 성격을 보이는지를 분석하여 주거지역 이해에 있어 주택 및 지역성과의 관련성을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 결과 주상복합건물 거주민들은 소득, 학력, 직업 등 사회ㆍ경제적 특성에 있어 주변 주거지역과 차별적 성향을 나타내고 있으며. 이러한 내부적 동질성이 주상복합 주거지역 간에는 입지에 따라 차별성이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 이것은 주택의 선택에 있어 사회, 계층적 요소는 중요한 설명요인이지만, 주거지 선택에 있어 주변 지역의 성격은 중요한 요소임을 짐작하게 하는 부분이다. 결국 특정 유형의 주택이지만 어느 지역에 입지하느냐에 따라 주거 입지의 선택과정은 달라질 수 있고, 그 결과 주거지의 성격이 달라진다는 결론을 내릴 수 있다.

혼합모델조립라인의 생산성 제고를 위한 작업순서 결정 (A study on sequencing of Mixed Model Assembly Line for increasing productivity)

  • Mixed Model Assembly Lines (MMALs) are increasingly used to produce differentiated products on a single assembly line without work-in-process storage, Usually, a typical MMAL consists of a number of (1) stations doing exactly the same operation on every job, (2) stations involving operations with different choices, and (3) stations offering operations that are not performed on every job, or that are performed on every job but with many options. For stations of the first type there is no sequencing problem at all. However, for the second type a set-up cost is incurred each time the operation switches from one choice to another. At the third type of stations, different models, requring different amounts and choices of assembly work, creates an uneven flow of work along the line and variations in the work load at these stations. When a subsequence of jobs requires more work load than the station can handle, it is necessary to help the operations at the station or to complete the work elsewhere. Therefore, a schedule which minimize the sum of set-up cost and utility work cost is desired. So this study has developed Fixed Random Ordering Rule (FROR), Fixed Ascending Ordering Rule (FAOR), Fixed Descending Ordering Rule, and Extended NHR (ENHR). ENHR is to choose optimal color ordering of each batch with NHR, and to decide job sequence of the batch with it, too. As the result of experiments, ENHR was the best heuristic algorithm. NHR is a new heuristic rule in which only the minimum addition of violations from both partial sequence and unassigned sequence at every branch could be considered. And this is a heuristic sequencing rule for the third type of stations at MMAL. This study developed one more heuristic algorithm to test the performance of NHR, which is named as Practical Heuristic Rule (PHR).

총폐정맥 환류 이상증에 대한 술후 장기성적 검토 (Long-term Results Following Surgical Repair of Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return)

  • Seventy-three patients with isolated total anomalous pulmonary venous connection the patients associated with other major cardiac anomalies such as single ventricle, DORV[Double Outlet Right Ventricle and large VSD[Ventricular Septal Defect were excluded were underwent surgical repair from January 1980 through October 1993. There were 45 boys and 28 girls. The mean age at operation was 19.9 months[range 6 days to 24 years and mean body weight was 7.1kg[range 2.6kg to 45kg . The anomalous locations of connection were supracardiac in 38, cardiac in 21, infracardiac in 5, and mixed in 9. In 38 patients[52% , the venous drainage was obstructed. The obstruction ratios according to the connection type were as follows: 53%[28/38 in supracardiac, 52%[11/21 in cardiac, 100%[5/5 in infracardiac, 22%[2/9 in mixed type. The associated cardiac anomalies were persistent left SVC[2 , tricuspid valve regurgitation[3 , cor triatriatum[1 , and mitral cleft[1 . And associated noncardiac anomalies were imperforate anus[1 and Neil Weightman syndrome[1 . The operative mortality was 23%. The causes of death were pulmonary hypertensive crisis, perioperative myocardial failure, pneumonia with sepsis, arrhythmia and etc. The statistically significant factors in postoperative mortality were the pulmonary venous obstruction and age [p<0.01 . The operative mortality was high in groups of age under 1 month and pulmonary venous obstruction. The mean follow-up was 27.1 months. There were two late deaths. The first patient was three months old boy with supracardiac type and severe obstructive symptoms. The postoperative echocardiography was showed anastomotic stenosis and reoperations were performed twice but the patients expired due to pneumonia and sepsis. The second patient was three month old boy with supracardiac type and total correction was done and was doing well postoperatively. Eight years later, he expired suddenly due to arrhythmia. But all the other patients were in NYHA Fc I and received no medications. The 5-year survival rate excluding early expired patients is 97.1 $\pm$ 0.03 %. In conclusion, although the operative mortality of total anomalous pulmonary venous connection was relatively high compared to other major cardiac anomalies, we could expect excellent long-term results by early surgical correction.

Vegetation history around Yongneup moor at Mt. Daeamsan, Korea

  • A pollen analytical study of sediment sequences collected from Yongneup moor (sampling point: $38^{\circ}$12'57.4" N, $120^{\circ}$7'30.2" E) was conducted to understand the vegetation history in the mountainous region of the central Korean peninsula. Carbon dating was carried out to measure five successive samples obtained from the bottom at a depth of 180 cm to the surface. The Yongneup moor sediment revealed four main local pollen zones; that is, four past vegetation phases as follows: Local pollen zone I: Quercus-Pinus zone; estimated age, 5,900-4,800 calibrated years (cal) before present (BP); vegetation type, cool-temperate central/montane deciduous broad-leaved forest. Local pollen zone II: Pinus-Abies-Quercus zone; estimated age, 4,800-3,400 cal BP; vegetation type, cool-temperate northern/alti-montane mixed coniferous and deciduous broad-leaved forest. Local pollen zone III: Quercus-Pinus-Abies zone; estimated age, 3,400-400 cal BP; vegetation type: cool-temperate central/montane deciduous broad-leaved forest. Local pollen zone IV: Pinus-Quercus zone; estimated age, 400-present cal BP; vegetation type, cool-temperate central/montane mixed deciduous broad-leaved and coniferous forest. It was confirmed that subalpine coniferous forests had expanded to the mountainous region of the central Korean peninsula during the period from 4,800-3,400 cal BP and thereafter deciduous forests dominated by Q. mongolica were established. Notably, secondary forests dominated by P. densiflora developed in the lower part of the mountainous region of the central Korean peninsula about 400 cal BP due to human interference.

층후와 개선된 Matsuo 기준을 이용한 한반도 강수형태 판별법 (A Method for the Discrimination of Precipitation Type Using Thickness and Improved Matsuo's Scheme over South Korea)

  • This study investigated a method for the discrimination of precipitation type using thickness of geopotential height at 1000~850 hPa and improved Matsuo's scheme over South Korea using 7 upper-level observations data during winter time from 2003 to 2008. With this research, it was suggested that thickness between snow and rain should range from 1281 to 1297 gpm at 1000~850 hPa. This threshold was suitable for determining precipitation type such as snow, sleet and rain and it was verified by investigation at 7 upper-level observation and 10 surface observation data for 3 years (2009~2011). In addition, precipitation types were separated properly by Matsuo's scheme and its improved one, which is a fuction of surface air temperature and relative humidity, when they lie in mixed sectors. Precipitation types in the mixed sector were subdivided into 5 sectors (rain, rain and snow, snow and rain, snow, and snow cover). We also present the decision table for monitoring and predicting precipitation types using model output of Korea Local Analysis and Prediction System (KLAPS) and observation data.

A comparison of the implant stability among various implant systems: clinical study

  • PURPOSE. To determine the change in stability of single-stage, three different design of implant systems in humans utilizing resonance frequency analysis for early healing period(24 weeks), without loading. MATERIAL AND METHODS. Twenty-five patients were included into this study. A total of 45 implants, three different design of implant systems(group A,C,R) were placed in the posterior maxilla or mandible. The specific transducer for each implant system was used. ISQ(implant stability quotient) reading were obtained for each implant at the time of surgery, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24 weeks postoperatively. Data were analyzed for different implant type, bone type, healing time, anatomical locations. RESULTS. For each implant system, a two-factor mixed-model ANOVA demonstrated that a significant effect on ISQ values(group A=0.0022, C=0.017, R=0.0018). For each implant system, in a two-factor mixed model ANOVA, and two-sample t-test, the main effect of jaw position(P > .005) on ISQ values were not significant. CONCLUSIONS. All the implant groups A, C and R, the change patterns of ISQ over time differed by bone type. Implant stability increased greatly between week 0 and week six and showed slow increase between week six and six months(plateau effect).

쇄파 발생에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Breaking Waves)

  • 본 논문에서는 2차원 수조의 임의 지점에서 쇄파를 만드는 실험방법에 대하여 논하였다. 쇄파를 만들기 위해서 임의의 지점에 각 성분의 파정이 모이도록 위상차를 갖는 선형파를 합성하여 조파기를 작동시켰다. 또한 조파판의 운동진폭을 조절하여 다양한 파기울기에 대하여 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 운동진폭이 너무 작은 경우에는 쇄파현상이 일어나지 않았고 불규칙한 파형만이 나타났으며, 최대파고가 H=0.0113g/T$^2$ 이상이어야 쇄파 현상이 나타남을 확인하였다. 쇄파의 모양은 대부분 경우에 spilling 형태였고, 특정한 운동진폭일 때 plunging 형태의 쇄파를 관찰할 수 있었다. 한편 비점성, 비압축성 유체로 가정하여 얻어진 경계적분방정식을 고차경계요소로 이산화하여 수치계산을 수행하였다. 자유표면의 처리를 위해서 Mixed Euler-Lagrangian 기법을 이용하였다 수치결과는 자유표면에서 주파수간의 상호간섭의 영향을 제대로 반영하고 있으며, 실험에서 계측한 파형을 제대로 모사하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

저열 포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용한 초고강도 분체 콘크리트 개발에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Developing Ultra-High Strength Powder Concrete Using Low-heat Portland Cement)

  • 본 논문에서는 저열포틀랜드 시멘트와 steel aggregates인 Ferro-Silicon, 실리카흄, 충전재로서 미세 석영과 고강도화에 따른 취성파괴 문제를 개선하기위해 강섬유를 사용하여 압축강도 400MPa이상의 초고강도 분체 콘크리트를 개발 하고자 하였다. 콘크리트의 초고강도화의 영향을 고려하여 물-시멘트비 저감이 가능한 저열포틀랜드 시멘트와 비교대상으로 보통포틀랜드 시멘트를 사용하고, 골재 대체 재료로 Ferro Silicon을 각각의 배합비, 양생조건을 달리하여 압축강도를 비교분석 하였다. 초고강도 콘크리트는 보통콘크리트와 달리 사용재료의 영향이 대단히 중요하며, SEM 촬영결과 Type III, Type IV의 C-S-H수화물이 비교적 많이 생성되었고, 고온고압양생으로 토버모라이트와 조놀라이트가 생성된것을 확인 하였다. 또한 골재의 세립화, 분체의 치밀충전화 및 반응성 재료의 사용으로 인해 페이스트가 고강도화 되고, 강섬유를 사용하여 인성을 보강하므로써, 28일 압축강도 420Mpa의 초고강도 분체콘크리트를 성공적으로 개발 하였다.

민간의료보험 유형과 미충족 의료와의 관련성 (Association of Supplementary Private Health Insurance Type with Unmet Health Care Needs)

  • Background: The extent of coverage rate of the public health insurance is still insufficient to meet healthcare needs. Private health insurance (PHI) plays a role to supplement coverage level of national health insurance in Korea. It is expected that reduce unmet need healthcare. This study was aimed to identify relationship between PHI type and the unmet healthcare need and its associated factors. Methods: Data were obtained from the 2014 Korea Health Panel Survey using nationally representative sample was analyzed. Respondents were 8,667 who were adults over 20 years covered by PHI but have not changed their contract. According to the enrollment form, PHI was classified into three types: fixed-benefit, indemnity, and mixed-type. To identify factors associated with unmet needs, multiple logistic regression conducted using the Andersen model factors, which are predisposing factors, enabling factors, and need factors. Results: Our analysis found that subjects who had PHI with mixed-type were less likely to experience unmet health care needs compared than those who did not have it (odds ratio, 0.80; 95% confidence interval, 0.66-0.98). As a result of analyzing what affected their unmet healthcare needs, the significant factors associated with unmet medical need were gender, marital status, residence in a metropolitan area, low household income, economic activity participation, self-employed insured, physically disabled, low subjective health status, and health-risk factors such as current smoking and drinking. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that having PHI may reduce experience of unmet healthcare needs. Findings unmet healthcare needs factors according to various subjects may be useful in consideration of setting policies for improving accessibility to healthcare in Korea.

균열 유도 재령에 따른 결정성장형 자기치유 고상캡슐 활용 시멘트 모르타르의 균열 치유 특성 (The Crack Healing Properties of Cement Mortar Materials Using Crystal Growth Type Self-Healing Solid Capsules According to the Crack Induction Age)

  • 본 연구에서는 결정성장형 자기치유 고상캡슐의 코어조성비에 따라 3수준의 고상캡슐을 제조하였으며, 결정성장형 자기치유 고상캡슐을 혼합하여 시멘트 모르타르를 제조하였다. 제조된 고상캡슐은 시멘트 질량의 3%와 혼합하여 시멘트 모르타르의 균열 유도 재령에 따른 치유 특성을 평가하였다. 결정성장형 자기치유 고상캡슐을 혼합한 시멘트 모르타르의 균열 유도 재령에 따른 균열치유 특성을 평가한 결과, 7일 재령 동안 반응하지 않은 수화물질이 남아있기 때문에 고상캡슐과 혼합된 시멘트 모르타르의 자기치유 성능은 28일 재령 대비 7일 재령이 증가한 것으로 나타났다.
