  • The rice mill occurred from modernization process of the farming village. It comes to follow in intention of the architect and is not the position building. By the user of the building it comes to follow necessary and it is a position thing. The like this rice mill was the community center of the village. Also the material which is unique and form quality were land mark of the village. The object of research is the rice mill where it takes charge of a like this role. And the scope of research is 8 rice mills of Eomjeong Myeon Chungju City which is located in the northern Chungbuk area. The progress of research the documentary survey, actual measurement, question, field work it analyzed the construction quality which the rice mill keeps with base and it arranges. The results of study are follows; 1. conditions of location : The rice mill the entrance of the village, the crossroads system is formed most the place is doing in the place which well. 2. The inside composition of a space : In order to compose the work space and the store space efficiently the plane surface is doing a rectangular form. 3. Form of roof : The roof raises the efficient characteristic of the work where is not the design which is intended to be naturally formed from the space composition for. 4. Selection of material : Most it was a natural enemy and an utility, it selected the scientific material and it used.

병렬구조 신 압연기의 최적설계 : 조작성 및 제어성능의 최대화 (Optimal Design of a New Rolling Mill Based upon Stewart Platform Manipulator : Maximization of Kinematic Manipulability)

  • A kinematic and dynamic optimal design of a new parallel-type rolling mill based upon Stewart platform manipulator is investigated. To provide sufficient degrees-of-freedom in the rolling process and the structural stability of each stand, a parallel manipulator with six legs is considered. The objective of this new parallel-type rolling mill is to permit an integrated control of the strip thickness, strip shape, pair crossing angle, uniform wear of the rolls, and tension of the strip. By splitting the weighted Jacobian matrices Into two parts, the linear velocity, angular velocity, force, and moment transmissivities are analyzed. A manipulability measure, the ratio of the manipulability ellipsoid volume and the condition number of a split Jacobian matrix, is defined. Two kinematic parameters, the radius of the base and the angle between two neighboring Joints, are optimally designed by maximizing the global manipulability measure in the entire workspace. The maximum force needed in the hydraulic actuator is also calculated using the structure determined through the kinematic analysis and the Plucker coordinates. Simulation results are provided.

제지슬러지 및 우분 급이시 줄지렁이(Eisenia fetida)의 섭식률, 배설률 및 증체율 (Feeding rate, excreting rate and biomass increasing rate of earthworm (Eisenia fetida) fed with paper mill sludge and cow dung manure)

  • 쌍용 P&G 제지공장 및 유한킴벌리 제지공장에서 발생한 제지슬러지 또는 우분을 줄지렁이의 먹이로 공급하면서 줄지렁이의 섭식량, 증체율 및 먹이에 대한 배설률을 조사하였다. 제지슬러지를 먹이로 공급하였을 경우에는 줄지렁이의 생체량이 증가하였으나, 우분을 먹이로 공급하였을 때는 먹이급이 70일 후에 지렁이 개체군이 사멸하였다. 섭식한 먹이의 지렁이 생체로의 전환률은 먹이급이 84일후에 건중량 기준으로 성충, 노령 유충 및 유령 유충 순으로 P&G 제지슬러지의 경우 0.48, 0.40, 0.76%로 유령유충이 입식된 사육상에서 높았고, 유한킴벌리 제지슬러지의 경우 0.26, 0.45, 0.42%로 성충이 입식된 사육상에서 가장 낮았다. 섭식한 먹이에 대한 지렁이의 배설률은 성충, 노령 유충 및 유령 유충 순으로 P&G 제지슬러지의 경우 49.02, 54.32, 55.39%이었고, 유한킴벌리 제지슬러지의 경우 32.22, 41.86, 40.69%로 P&G 제지슬러지에 대한 배설률이 유한 킴벌리에 대한 배설률보다 높았다. 우분에 대한 배설률은 성충, 노령 유충 및 유령 유충 각각 73.73, 57.89, 76.38%로 제지슬러지보다는 높은 배설률을 나타내었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of alloying and rolling condition on the mechanical properties and to develop high strength line pipe steels with good toughness. Tests were carried out by the laboratory experiments followed by mill trials and mass production. It was found that a small addition of microalloying elements, such as Nb, V with Mo or Ti remarkably increased the strength and toughness of hot strips. The optimum condition of thermomechanical rolling on low carbon microalloyed steel improved the toughness through the formation of a fine and uniform microstructure. Based on this mill trials following the fundamental research, the production technology of line pipe steels, grade X70∼X100 with high toughness, has been established. These grade steels exhibit excellent low temperature toughness (vTs= under -80$^{\circ}C$) and sufficient strength in both the base metal and the ERW seam weld position, respectively.

SCC Mechanism of Ni Base Alloys in Lead Contaminated Water

  • Transgranular stress corrosion cracking of nickel base alloys was reported by Copson and Dean in 1965. Study to establish this cracking mechanism needs to be carried out. Laboratory stress corrosion tests were performed for mill annealed(MA) or thermally treated(TT) steam generator tubing materials in a high temperature water containing lead. An electrochemical interaction of lead with the alloying elements of SG tubings was also investigated. Alloy 690 TT showed a transgranular stress corrosion cracking in a 40% NaOH solution with 5000 ppm of lead, while intergranular stress corrosion racking was observed in a 10% NaOH solution with 100 ppm lead. Lead seems to enhance the disruption of passive film and anodic dissolution of alloy 600 and alloy 690. Crack tip blunting at grain boundary carbides plays a role for the transgranular stress corrosion cracking.

기유와 극압제가 압연유의 윤활성 및 내소부성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Base Oils and Extreme Pressure Additives on Lubricity and Anti-Seizure Property of Lubricant in Cold Rolling)

  • 본 연구에서는 고속 냉간 압연유를 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로써 압연유의 기본이 되는 기유의 종류와 압연유에 첨가되는 각종 첨가제중 고속, 고압하 압연에서 가장 문제가 되는 히트 스크래치를 방지하는 역할을 하는 극압제의 종류 및 함량이 압연유의 윤활성과 내소부성에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 소다식 진자형 마찰계수 시험 기, Falex 시험기 그리고 Four Ball 시험기와 같은 실험실적 평가방법과는 달리 실제 롤과 스트립 사이의 접촉조건이 상사한 시험압연기를 사용한 윤활성 및 내소부성 평가 실험을 통하여 검토하였다. 본 평가 실험에 사용된 시험압연기는 압하배분, 압연 채 터링(chattering), 장력 제어, 압연윤활 특성, 압연재 형상 제어, 이주속 압연특성 등 을 시험할 수 있는 다목적 냉간압연기로써 그 구조와 제원을 Fig.1과 Table 1에 나타 내었다. 또한 극압제를 함우하고 있는 압연유와 스트립 표면간의 화학반응에 의한 극압막의 존재여부를 확인하기 위하여 EDS(energy dispersive spectrometer) 분석법과 ESCA (electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis) 분석법을 이용하여 분석하였다.

골판지 불량 검색 시스템 개발, 현장적용과 생산 불량률 변화 (Development of Defects Detecting System for Corrugated Board, Mill Application, and Changes of Production Defects Ratio)

  • Defects of corrugated board were limiting factors to the corrugated industry's growth. On-line detecting systems of defects are beneficial to increase profits of the corrugated board companies by reducing base paper consumption, increasing process reliability, and increasing productivity. By replacing naked eye inspection of defects to a defects detecting system, continuous inspection without fatigue may guarantee final products quality. The system was developed, which was consisted of line scan CCD camera, lens, illuminating parts, high speed image processor, software, various input parts, and output parts. First installation location of the system was at before fluting process after base paper unwinding, and surface of liner board was inspected by the system. Second installation location was after fluting process and combining process for liner board. Production loss includes ragged appearance of edge, irregular flute shape, wrong combination of flute, score cracking, defects in base paper, and flute cracking. The production loss was analyzed before and after the system installation at a commercial domestic mill. The production loss ratio was defined as a production loss weight per total production weight. The production loss ratio before the installation was decreased a lot from 1.28%(during 3 months before installation) to 0.76%(during 12 months after the first installation) and to 0.25%(during 6 months after the second installation).

원지특성 및 접착제 조성이 합지 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Base Paper Properties and the Composition of Adhesives on the Physical Properties of Multilayered Paper)

  • Generally, paper multilayering was performed before wet pressing process. However, sheets whose characteristics are different could be put together at the dry state by adhesives for the specialty paper products. In this paper, potential adhesives such as PVAc, oxidised starch, latex, and PVA were chosen and multilayering of several sheets was performed in laboratory scale. The effects of base paper properties and the composition of adhesives on the physical properties of multilayering paper were investigated. Physical properties such as bonding strength and stiffness were measured. For the practical reasons, mill trial was also executed. According to the result of laboratory tests and mill trial test, the physical properties of multilayered paper were greatly affected by the composition of adhesives and it was found that PVAc showed the best performance in all its aspects among four adhesives. Oxidised starch had an advantage of high stiffness and PVA gave high bonding strength to the multilayered paper. And it was also found that the properties of base paper showed the great influences not only on multilayering process, but also on the physical properties of the multilayered paper.

  • For the purpose of developing liner board for water resistant corrugated board in the cold chain system, several types of base paper for corrugated board were purchased from the market and 6 different boards were produced in the mill by applying the chemicals, chosen in the previous studies, on the base paper. Then water-moisture resistance and physical properties of the boards were compared each other. The liner board which is dried at high temperature with pressure by Condebelt (CK paper) showed a superior performance in strength over common liner boards. Strength of the board increased by surface chemical treatment up to $60\%$ of compressive strength and $30\%$ of burst strength. Starch insolubilization with Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate and surface coating with a surface sizing agent and a moisture resistant chemical on CK paper showed the best result. Therefore this method was recommended to produce the outer liner board for water resistant corrugated board.
