The purpose of this study is to find out a significant influence of continental strategy theories on the development of maritime strategy theories. For this purpose, I examined similar and different parts of each theories and their implications when applied to different environment. In details, Chapter 2 deals with how continental strategy and maritime strategy theories are similar and different in general. In Chapter 3, I look into how Karl Clausewitz's theory that has been quoted the most by military strategy theorists had influenced over the theory of Julian Corbett, one of the representative English maritime strategy theorists. In Chapter 4, I study how the theory of Alfred Mahan that has also been quoted the most among the theories of maritime strategy had been influenced by Antoine-Henri Jomini's theory. And in Chapter 5, their contemporary implications and conclusions are drawn. According to my findings, unbelievably, the theories of maritime strategy had been influenced by existing continental strategy theories very much. Many similarities are found between them. However, at the same time, a large part of them is found significantly different from original ones especially when used to reflect the maritime distinctiveness. This means that the past maritime strategy theories and stored experience also wield influence, in many ways, yielding out much better ones in terms of applicability to changing environment. Therefore, devising new strategies with creative attitude using knowledges and experiences from both other fields and past ones is the virtue required for maritime strategists.

Opera costumes are a tangible medium to directly affect how opera singers performed. Therefore, stage costumes have been designed in various ways to reflect intentions of directors. This study examines modernization of opera costumes. For this study, the author worked as one of costume design staff for "Faust" which was played in Sung-Nam Art Center from November 24, 2005 to November 27, 2005 in commemoration of the opening of the center. The following outcomes of the supporting actors are drawn from this study. Martha wore a grey jacket and a long skirt with slash. Grey suit symbolized chastity but tight long skirt with slash means sexy. Valentin wore military and combat uniforms to express that he was a soldier. The military uniform represented the situation before the war and the combat uniform symbolized the situation after the war. Rather short trousers, a white tweed jacket, purple flower ornament, a light green vest, and a beret were used to express Wagner, who looked ridiculous and always tried to flirt. Overalls, a blue jumper, and a scarlet baseball cap were used to make Siebel look naive and homely. Modern opera costumes now help reduce the time and space between stage and audience, improve economic efficiency and meet the audience's needs for various style.

One of the key factors for recognition performance in the automatic target recognition for synthetic aperture radar imagery(SAR-ATR) system is reliability of the SAR target database. To achieve optimal performance, the database should be constructed using the images obtained under the same operating condition as the SAR sensor. However, it is impractical to have the extensive set of real-world SAR images, and thus those from the electro magnetic prediction tool with 3-D CAD models are suggested as an alternative where their reliability can be always questionable. In this paper, a method for similarity assessment between target SAR images is presented inspired by the fact that a target SAR image is mainly characterized by the features of scattering centers. The method is demonstrated using a variety of examples and quantitatively measures the similarity related to reliability. Its assessment performance is further compared with that of the existing metric, structural similarity(SSIM).

정보통신 기술이 발전하여 시간과 장소에 제한 없이 통신을 할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 개념이 나타났다. 이렇게 정보를 전달할 수 있는 기술의 발전으로 현재의 사회를 정보화 사회에서 발전된 지식화 사회로 부른다. 지식화 사회는 정보를 가공하여 축척된 지식이 중심이 된 사회이다. 교육의 방법도 컴퓨터를 이용한 e-러닝(e-Learning)의 개념에서 유비쿼터스 개념이 접목된 u-러닝(u-Learning)이라는 개념으로 발전되었다. 군에서도 교육은 핵심정책 중의 하나로 꼽힌다. 전쟁의 양상이 플랫폼 중심전에서 네트워크 중심전(NCW：Network Centric Warfare)로 바뀌고 있다. 따라서 전장을 상황을 실시간으로 수집하여 관리하는 것이 지휘통제의 핵심이 된다. 이를 위해서는 첨단 지식강군 육성을 위해 개인과 조직의 능력을 최대화시켜야한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전장환경과 정보통신기술의 변화에 맞추어 교육훈련 및 작전에서의 u-러닝 시스템 적용 방안을 알아보고자 한다.

4차 산업혁명 시대의 미래 전장은 초연결, 고속기동화된 무기체계로 다영역작전을 수행할 것이다. 이러한 미래전 양상의 변화에 대비하기 위해 우리군은 다양한 유·무인 무기체계를 개발하고 이들의 기동간 통신 지원이 가능한 다계층 전술네트워크 구성을 위하여 노력하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 전술네트워크는 단일 계층에서 단일빔 안테나를 활용한 1:1 고속링크 또는 무지향성 안테나를 활용한 1:N 저속링크를 운용하고 있어 기동간 통신 지원이 제한된다. 즉 미래전 대비를 위한 다계층 전술네트워크를 효율적으로 구성하기 위해서 다중빔 안테나의 운용이 필요하다. 특히 공중계층의 공중중계 무인기는 비행체 특징에 따라 다중빔 안테나의 운용 방법이 달라진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다계층 전술네트워크의 효율적인 운용을 위하여 공중계층에 필요한 다중빔 안테나 운용 시나리오와 고려 요소, 회전익과 고정익 비행체의 특징을 살펴보고 이를 토대로 다중빔 안테나의 공중중계 무인기 설치 위치 및 운용 방안을 회전익과 고정익 비행체로 구분하여 제시한다.

이 글은 당말(唐末) 저명 무관(武官)인 왕진이 저술한 "도덕경논병요의술"의 군사사상에 대한 연구이다. 역사적으로 많은 학자들은 "도덕경"을 병서(兵書)로 간주하였다. 그러나 군사적 시각으로 "도덕경"을 계통적으로 해석한 사람은 왕진 한 사람뿐이다. 왕진은 세상에 전쟁이 끊임없이 일어나는 이유는 인간이 본성적으로 분쟁을 좋아하기 때문이라고 생각한다. 그에 따르면 인간은 만물 가운데 가장 뛰어난 영혼을 갖고 태어난다. 그러나 하늘이 인간을 낳을 때 마음 가운데 큰 욕심을 갖게 한다. 따라서 인간은 승리를 추구하며 이익을 쫓고 바른 길을 등지고 사악한 길을 걷는다. 각 욕망 사이의 모순은 크고 작은 분쟁을 일으키게 된다. 인간에게 욕심이 있는 것은 인간에게 정(情)이 있다는 것이다. 인간에게 정이 있기 때문에 전쟁이 없을 수 없다. 이러한 전쟁을 해결하기 위해 인간은 무기(武器)를 사용한다. 왕진은 무기란 매우 흉악하고 위험한 물건이기 때문에 이를 사용하는 전쟁은 세상에서 가장 악한 행위라고 생각한다. 그런데 세상의 많은 일들이 무기를 잘 사용할 수 있는가의 여부에 따라 그 이해(利害)가 결정된다. 따라서 무기의 사용기술은 현실 세계에서 효용성을 가지며 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 그러나 나라를 다스리고 군대를 통솔하는데 있어서 먼저 힘써야 할 것은 도덕적 가치이다. 문무(文武)를 병행할 때 나라의 안녕과 전쟁의 승리를 담보할 수 있다. 왕진은 노자가 분쟁이 전쟁과 혼란의 근원으로 보고 그 근본적 해결책으로 부쟁(不爭)을 강조했다고 생각한다. 따라서 왕진은 "부쟁"이 "도덕경"의 핵심요지고 그 자신의 군사사상의 중심임을 밝힌다. 그에 있어 "부쟁"은 바로 "무위(無爲)"이다. "무위"는 정치적 의미만이 아니라 군사적 의미도 내포하고 있다. 그는 노자의 "무위"사상을 자신의 군사사상에 적용시켜 군사적 "부쟁"사상을 정립한다.

This paper initiates an effort to look at "South Korean" medicine as perhaps distinct from "Korean" medicine, focusing specifically on the possibility of offering a post-colonial history of medicine. As such, the paper looks at the formation of the NMC (National Medical Center) in Seoul in 1958 (1958-1963, 1963-1968, 1968-1971) by a consortium of European actors--Denmark, Sweden, and Norway--invested in developing new forms of international assistance after the Korean War. Rather than take a firm stance, the paper ultimately suggests that the role of these actors in formative South Korean institutions was constitutive, and perhaps requires much more examination in the future.

The hip-hop fashion of the nineteens is just as important in hip-hop as in rapping, breaking, or graffitiwriting to young people. Hip-hop fashions major influences range from martial-arts moves, to street-gang uniforms and paraphernalia. Hip-hop fashion grew and evolved with the subculture. The identification with street-gang culture is important to hip-hop in general and still set the pace for hip-hop fashion. There are things that are necessary fashion components for each segment of hip-hop life. So even prisons are now selling prison clothes. Explaining the look, The rawest street element is a jail element, so the strongest statement is a uniform with shirts and trousers that match perfectly, like a jail piece. Insiders can detect the away of gang and prison culture on the iconography of seemingly innocuous brands. Hip-hop glam is part of an evolution of hip-hop style. Rap's gone luxe, and it is women who are leading the high-fashion charge. They wear in diamonds and fur. Now it is a very glam. Now, many brands are upping their marketing activities through a focus on their women's lines in advertising, and featuring hot celebrities. There is also a lot of rethinking of looks going on. Sexy and tight is emerging as the style of choice in this market and fabrications are becoming more important, as designers refine and upgrade their women's line. The clothes of hip-hop glam were the ordinary with the extraordinary: Designer fur and leather with athletic team jerseys, Nike sneakers, diamond bracelets and mall brands like Guess and Fubu. The hip-hop musician's sporty hip-hop looks has amply young people. The hip-hop looks of baggy jeans, oversized shirts and rugged outerwear have become a part of mainstream fashion. Hip-hop fashion has the characteristics of being sporty. In the 90s, Military look has got one of the fashionable hip-hop fashion style. It does not have inner symbolic meaning or ideology but it only represents a fashion trend and revival fashion. Not only fashion designer but also hip-hop musician selected the trend for hip-hop fashion style.

본 연구에서는 청색을 대상으로 하여, 청색이 전달하는 이미지의 색채표현 특성을 파악한 후, 색채관련 문헌자료의 고찰을 통하여 상징적 측면에서 청색이미지를 분류하였다. 또한, 20세기 이후의 복식 룩(look)을 중심으로 하여 복식에 나타난 청색이미지를 고찰하였고 국내 의류제품에 사용된 청색의 색채경향을 파악하여 복식에 주로 사용된 청색과 그 이미지를 분류하였다. 연구결과, 청색은 한색, 후퇴 색, 진정 색이라는 청색의 색채표현 특성에 의하여 긍정적인 이미지로서는 신성함, 고귀함, 무한함, 정신, 낭만, 깨끗함, 차가움의 이미지를 전달하였고 부정적인 이미지로 우울함, 반항, 악마 등의 이미지를 전달하였다. 현대 서구 여성복식에서는 회색 띤 색조를 제외한 다양한 청색 조가 사용된 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 복식에서는 클래식 룩과, 워크웨어 룩, 밀리터리 룩, 마린 룩 등에서 어두운 청색이 주요한 이미지 요소로 작용하여 전통적인, 보수적인, 남성적인, 딱딱한, 절제된 이미지를 나타내거나 흰색과 배색되어 산뜻한 이미지를 나타내었다. 최근 국내 의류제품에 사용된 청색의 색채경향 분석결과에서는 보라 띤 청색의 주로 연하거나 어두운 색조가 많이 사용되는 것으로 파악되었다. '97/'98 F/W까지의 유행 예측 색으로서의 청색에서는 녹색 띤 청색과 보라 띤 청색의 연하고 밝고, 탁한 색조가 제시된 것으로 나타났다.

This study attempted to summarize the characteristics of fashion in the 1930s which were the background of 'Bonnie and Clyde' and analyze how fashion in the 1930s was expressed through costume in the movie, focusing on some critical scenes. For this, previous studies and domestic & foreign books, magazines and DVDs relating to movie costume were examined. For analysis of movie costume, 'Bonnie and Clyde (1967)' DVD was referred to. In the movie, meaningful scenes were captured using a GOM Player. Then, the study results found the followings: First, in terms of women's fashion in the 1930s, adult look and slim & long silhouette which naturally revealed breast, waist and hip with a long skirt, a military look with strong shoulders and tailored costume were found. In terms of men's fashion, in contrast, the Duke of Windsor Style (a slim silhouette jacket and loose pants) was popular. Second, in the movie, Bonnie's costume started with a slim linen H-line dress at her first meeting with Clyde. While committing crimes and becoming a famous gangster, she displayed the fashion styles which were in vogue in the 1930s such as fancy and luxurious slim dress, tailored suit and trench coat. Third, in terms of Clyde's costume, from his first meeting with Bonnie to his first crime, he put on common costume (ex: pants, vest, shirts, etc.) which revealed his open and unconventional character. After he became a famous gangster, he would wear the Duke of Windsor style (jacket, vest and pants). The study results well describe movie costume's role as visual language which expresses characters' inner circumstances and outer situations that reflect socio-cultural background.
