  • The purpose of this research is to propose a plan on migration policy based on features, through analyzing the migration adaption process and the farming life of the back-to-countryside population throughout the nation. For this, survey has been conducted to find out urban-to-rural migrants' motives and characteristics. The major reason for the migration was the household's financial condition, and the most of migration decisions were made by either one's spouse or parents. The migration fund was primarily spent in early agricultural activities and it was the neighbors who aided them the most whilst teaching them many farming techniques. Some government-supported policies are being highly demanded regarding the lower level of income (than urban life) and difficulties of raising cultivation funds; these two things are what migrants consider as the most inconvenient and suffering matters in farming life. Many surveyee have responded that they would constantly stay in the rural area and continue on their life as a farmer, giving a promising prospect for future farmland life. Based on these trends and features, development strategy regarding elaborate settlement plan of urban-to-rural migration is necessary.

  • Mobile Agent has been known that it is an efficient communication paradigm for distributed applications and that a mobile agent provides higher flexibility and performance than existing communication paradigms. Despite these benefits, mobile agent is not used widely in the market because it is very vulnerable to a variety of attacks. To be applied to develop distributed applications, a mobile agent paradigm must consider both security and performance. In this paper, we propose and evaluate an improving method of a migration performance for a mobile agent model using ISM(Integrated Security Manager), which provides high-level security services and travel plan guide. In the proposed method. ISM offers the travel plan guide service which replies the accumulated results when a mobile agent has executed all migration plans related the trusted domain to be managed by ISM. Our method improved about $33{\sim}82%$ of total execution time than the existing method.

  • This study aims to analyze the trend of migration and to find the factors which influence to migration in Chuncheon, Wonju and Gangneung. The results are as follows. First, the employment chance and education chance give positive effect to migration. And it agrees with the results of the preceeding researches. Second, Though the statistical significance is low, the result that urbanized degree gives positive effect to migration indicates the possibility of positive effect of urban convenience to migratioin. Third, the pavement rate of the roads which is substituted for public goods service gives the negative effect to migratioin, though the statistical significance is low. This result shows the possibility that the road building has influenced the extending of traffic distance and the spreading of residence area. In conclusion, this study identifies the positive effect of employment chance and education chance to migration, and the results of this study are supposed to be considered in the regional plan in Gangwon-do.

  • The agricultural population, the farming, the agriculture of our country has been decreased more rapidly than those of other countries. Also, the changing speed of the rural village in Korea has shown a similar trend. By considering the urbanization process and migration state caused by the economic growth and the increasing level of relative poverty in comparison with the urban area, it has been necessary to go through the impoverishment and slum-orientation of the rural area. In our country, the rural village became old age. So, the collapse is predicted to a population shortage if such trend is continued in the village society. according to investigate, Many urban peoples have opinion that migrates to a farm village. but those not migrate to rural community. The mainly reason is low life environment. therefore it is need the plan that the urban people migrates to a rural village, and must have the plan to be engaged in the agriculture. lt was the rural-fishing New Town development project that started in 2009 for 30~40 years's urban people. This study is about characteristic and improvement of Rural-Fishing New Town development project.

  • This study was carried out to draw up the planting plan of bridge type ecological corridor for animals migration at Hakgogae(ridge) destroyed by road construction in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It was conducted with two steps, survey and planting master plan. We surveyed the structure of topography, plant community, and animal habitat. We also selected the target species migrate ecological corridor and suggested a concept of each planting area, the planting species, and the planting density based on the analyzed data and finally drew up the planting plan. The structure of topography was a steep slope due to the mountain ridge destruction so the bridge type ecological corridor was could be applied in this study and we supposed that the animals migrate along the both edge of corridor. As the results of analyzed plant community structure in two sides, the dominant woody species, Quercus serrata and Q. variabilis were distributed on the bottom and the belly of a mountain, while Pinus densiflora community was distributed on the mountain ridge as edaphic climax. The similarity between Q. serrata -Q. mongolica -Q. variabilis community on the West of survey site and Q. serrata -Q. mongolica community on the East of survey site was high in 71.0 percentages. As the results of surveying birds and some mammalia, seven species and fifty-seven individuals of birds were founded in survey area, and two species and two individuals of rodents were founded. We selected birds and some mammals for the migration species that supposed to migrate ecological corridor in drawing up the planting plan. And then we divided the planting areas into bird corridor and habitat, and mammals corridor, also suggested the planting areas in detail as follows: community planting area of shrub at slope adjacent to the bridge exit as a buffer zone, screen planting area, community planting area of herb at steep slope connected with mountain areas, inducement planting area of the animals, community planting area for bird migration, community planting area for mammals migration, and community planting area for bird habitat. We selected the planting woody species which were the constancy ratio based on the analyzed data of plant community around mountain areas was high, and suggested the planting master plan each space.

  • Though most of East European coutries seem to hold a pronatalist policy, they approve of family planning and provide contraceptive services. One of the most popular contraceptive method has traditionally been the coitus interruptus in these countries. One of the major reasons for adopting family planning is to decrease the incidence of induced abortion has been closely related to the popular use of coitus interruptus in these countries. Most of the East European countries liberalized induce abortion legally mainly to neutralize the wide practice of illegal abortion. However, the practice of induced abortion is under the strict control of the public health authorities in these countries. Migration and redistribution of population of population are mostly under the control of the state in these socialist countries. Policies on migration and redistribution are usually carried out to achieve the general goal of socio-economic development plan of the states. Both incentive measures and control measures are mobilized to affect the internal migration and redistribution of population. With respect to public health East European countries are characterized by the socialized medicine following the Soviet model. Public health measures and medical practice are controlled by the state and highly centralized in many countries except Yugoslavia. They place much emphasis on preventive medicine, primary health care, occupatinal and industrial medicine, and health education. Private sectors in medical practice do not exist in these countries of Eastern Europe.

  • This study was carried out to design a bridge-type ecological corridor plan in a forested neighborhood park affected by road construction in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. In order to study the site conditions, we analyzed topography, ecosystem structure, and user behavior and trail use. Existing vegetation was classified into 12 types. Based on a vegetation analysis, the Populus albaglandulosa and Robinia pseudoacacia communities, where planted species are dominant, were distributed extensively in the southern forest area. Planted areas with a single-layer structure of Korean landscape woody plants and Robinia pseudoacacia communities with a single-layer structure were distributed extensively in the northern forest and water-supply area. Based on a study of 28 quadrats, the similarity index between the multi-layer plant communities distributed in the southern forest and the single-layer planted areas was low. Twenty-four species of wild birds(355 individuals) were found in the survey area, including nine interior species and three urban species. The study of user behavior and numbers showed most users were walkers and few users were observed in the southern forest while most users were observed in the northern forest and water supply area. We selected some wild birds as model species to represent migrating species believed to use this park as an ecological corridor during migration. We suggested the new park plan include the following: improvement of vegetation structure for wildbird migration and habitat, connection of park trails for users and presentation of a landscape linked to nature.

  • The purpose of this study was to research the change of the forest in Myungseo-lee Sanchuk-myun, Chungju where most of the area managed the Swidden Agriculture(Shifting cultivation). The mountainous district should be used and developed the multi-purposing source among the agricultural field, grassland, forest, a recreational area, and an industrial site, and should be presupposed the establishment of synthetic and efficient change system. This study began to pay attention to observe the peculiarity of Swidden Agricultural area in terms of forest aspects and to broaden the outlook of Swidden Agriculture. In the status of Myungseo-lee, prior to the Project to Rehabilitate the Illegal Swidden, from 1973 to 1976, the private forest gets 110.9ha (23ha for Seodae-village, 26ha for Dooduk-village, 6ha for Myungdol-village, 41ha for Chungam-village, 14.9ha for Pangdae-village). In Myungseo-lee. millet and corn were harvested, and they performed the rotation of planting and temporary resting by changing the field. The cultivated acreage per a house of total 5 villages in Myungseo-lee was just 0.4ha in average. The 70ha of the Swidden in Dooduk-village. Myungseo-lee, was sold to the Miwon corp. and the 342ha of that in Myungseo-lee was sold to Seohae-devlp.(SK forest). Those areas afforested. As the regulation plan for the Swidden began, the people in the site got paid for 300,000won as a migration fee. The special feature of the Swidden in Myungseo-lee was that the whole migration village was already established before the regulation plan for the Swidden began, and the yield was harvested by more than other villages the use of chemical fertilizer. And, in the Swidden agriculture, it showed the well-cultivated aspect, and the major harvest was various grains. The regulation Swidden in Myungseo-lee started in 1974.

  • This paper is to probe foreign cases about risk management and to develop a method for the risk management of the digital resources, This is under the perception that the risk management is necessary for digital archiving implementation. OCLC and Cornell University Library are the leading institutions in the area of risk management. They are the best examples because they make a decision about the risk management through the testing and experimentation. Based on case studies, identification of element of risk management process in our environment, the foundation of national center for risk management, and testing file format and migration program as practical plan of risk management for digital resources are suggested.
