This paper proposes a wheel-assembly automation system, which assembles a wheel into a hub of a vehicle hung to a moving hanger in a car manufacturing line. A macro-micro manipulator control strategy is introduced to increase the system bandwidth and tracking accuracy to ensure insertion tolerance. A camera is equipped at the newly designed wheel gripper, which is attached at the center of the end-effector of the macro-micro manipulator and is used to measure position error of the hub of the vehicle in real time. The redundancy problem in the macro-micro manipulator is solved without complicated calculation by assigning proper functions to each part so that the macro part tracks the velocity error while the micro part regulates the fine position error. Experimental results indicate that tracking error satisfies the insertion tolerance of assembly $({\pm}1mm)$, and thus it is verified that the proposed system can be applied to the wheel assembly task on a moving hanger in the manufacturing line.

Conclusion : Results of this study show that Halloysitum Rubrum can be used in a diverse ways to treat many kinds of disease.
We have analyzed the dielectrophoretic(DEP) force on a cell in a micro planar electrode structure. We fabricate a micro planar electrode structure using micro machining technology and measure the motion of a cell that is accelerated by DEP force. DEP force on a cell is calculated by curve fitting the motion of a cell. Radish and yeast are used for the experiment. In case of radish, DEP force is increased as the voltage and the frequency is increased, and in case of yeast, DEP force is increased only as the voltage is increased DEP force on a yeast does not vary when the frequency varies from 1 MHz to 3 MHz. The result will be helpful to the manipulation of cells using DEP force.
A one-step method for nanoscale patterning of silver ionic ink on a substrate is developed using a microscale, elastic mold deformation. This method yields unique micro/nanoscale metallic structures that differ from those produced using the original molds. The linewidth of these metallic structures is significantly reduced (approximately 10 times) through the sidewall deformation of the original mold cavity on a thin liquid film, as verified by finite element analysis. The process facilitates the fabrication of various, isolated and complex micro/nanoscale metallic structures with negligible residual layers at low cost and high throughput. These structures can be utilized for various applications, including optoelectronics, wearable sensors, and metaverse-related devices. Our approach offers a promising tool for manipulation and fabrication of micro/nanoscale structures of various functional materials.

Surgical methods and associated precision systems have been developed, but surgical procedures that require precise location and fine manipulation of the lesion remain a limitation. The combination of precision robot manipulation technology and 3D medical image navigation technology overcomes the limitations of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and enables a more stable and successful operation. Surgical robots are surgical robots such as da Vince, and surgical robots using industrial robotic arms. There are various developments and researches of medical robots. In recent medical robot development, a new type of surgical robot based on an industrial robot arm capable of easily replacing the end effector according to the user's needs is being actively developed at home and abroad. Therefore, in this study, we developed safety and performance evaluation guideline for micro - surgical robots based on open robot platform using general purpose robot arm to help quality control of the medical device.

In this paper, a microassembly system based on hybrid manipulation schemes is proposed and applied to the assembly of a photonic component. In order to achieve both high precision and dexterity in microassembly, we propose a hybrid microassembly system with sensory feedbacks of vision and force. This system consists of the distributed 6-DOF micromanipulation units, the stereo microscope, and haptic interface for the force feedback-based microassembly. A hybrid assembly method, which combines the vision-based microassembly and the scaled teleoperated microassembly with force feedback, is proposed. The feasibility of the proposed method is investigated via experimental studies for assembling micro opto-electrical components. Experimental results show that the hybrid microassembly system is feasible for applications to the assembly of photonic components in the commercial market with better flexibility and efficiency.

Using ultrasonic standing waves, micro particles submerged or flowing in fluid can be manipulated. Due to acoustic radiation force of ultrasound, particles are forced to move to pressure nodal or antinodal lines. In this work, we propose a method to control the position of micro particle in a flow by adjusting the frequency of the standing wave. To this end, standing wave field generation system including a few millimeter thick micro channel was established using an immersible ultrasonic transducer. The present generation system works valid in a frequency range between 2.0 MHz and 2.5 MHz. We observed the SiC particles in water moved to pressure nodal lines by the standing wave. The effect of the channel thickness and operating frequency was also investigated. Interestingly, it was shown that the operating frequency have a close relation with the location of the pressure nodal line. Consequently, it fan be said that the position of particle movement rail be controlled by adjusting the ultrasound frequency. The maximum range of the controllable position was about 261 micrometers under the given condition. The resulted observations reveal the possibility of various applications of the ultrasonic standing wave to the manipulation of particles submerged in a fluid.
There has been an explosion of literature focusing on the role of regulatory T (Treg) cells in cancer immunity. It is becoming increasingly clear that Treg cells play an active and significant role in the progression of cancer, and have an important role in suppressing tumor-specific immunity. Thus, there is a clear rationale for developing clinical strategies to diminish their regulatory influences, with the ultimate goal of augmenting antitimor immunity. Therefore, manipulation of Treg cells represent new strategies for cancer treatment. In this Review, I will summarize and review the explosive recent studies demonstrating that Treg cells are increased in patients with malignancies and restoration of antitumor immunity in mice and humans by depletion or reduction of Treg cells. In addition, I will discuss both the prognostic value of Treg cells in tumor progression in tumor-bearing hosts and the rationale for strategies for therapeutic vaccination and immunotherapeutic targeting of Treg cells with drugs and microRNA.

This study represents the efficient depth measurement for 3-dimensional microsystems using the disparity histogram from stereo images. Implementation of user-friendly Windows program written in C++ involves the various methods for the stereo-image processing in which the minimization of matching-pixel error upon the unique point for stereo images was carried out as a pre-processing method. Even though MPC among various methods was adopted in the present measurement, the resulting measurements seem to require optimizations of the windows sizes and corrections of post-manipulation for stereo images. The present work using Windows program is promising to measure the 3-dimensional depth of micro-system efficiently in implementing the 3-dimensional structure of micro-systems.
A sophisticated story-wise stiffness identification method for a shear building structure is applied to the case where the shear building is subjected to an actual micro-tremor. While the building responses to earthquake ground motions are necessary in the previous method, it is shown that micro-tremors can be used for identification within the same framework. This enhances the extended usability and practicality of the previously proposed identification method. The difficulty arising in the limit manipulation at zero frequency in the previous method is overcome by introducing an ARX model. The weakness of small SN ratios in the low frequency range is avoided by using the ARX model together with filtering and introducing new constraints on the ARX parameters.
