In this article, we synthesized an azo dye rotaxane containing bis(8-hydroxyquinoline) group and its polymeric metal complex with zinc. The azo dye rotaxane exhibits high pH sensitivity, solvatochromism and zinc (II) ion sensings in aqueous solution. These behaviors came from the tautomeric equilibrium between azo-hydrazone tautomers and the formation of extended conjugation. The structure of polymeric zinc complexed dye rotaxane was confirmed with NMR and FT-IR measurements. The existence of CD rings, provided by dye rotaxane formation, was found to be very beneficial in improving aqueous solubility of polymeric metal complex.
Using the new type auxiliary(K-1), dyeing experiment was done at the various dyeing conditions and the effects of auxiliary on the dyeing properties of metal complex dye for the silk fiber were dicussed. The exhaust rate was higher in the auxiliary 3% o.w.f. addition than sodium sulfate 50% o.w.f. The decreasing ratio of exhaust rate according to dye concentration increasing was lower at auxiliary addition than auxiliary non-addition. The exhaust rate according to increasing dyeing temperature was higher in the auxiliary addition than non-addition.

Metal complex dyes are usually used to dye amide fiber such as wool, silk and nylon to achieve high concentrated color and excellent color fastness. However, metal complex dyes that contain various heavy metal components cause not only serious environmental problem but also human health. In this study the ordinary 1:2 metal acid dyes and the modified 1:2 metal dyes, which are environmental friendly, are compared and analyzed in existing dyes investigated the trends in the evaluation system of their harmfulness, containing heavy metals and examined exhaustion rates and dyeing characteristics.

The metal complex dyes that are mainly used for good color fastness in dyeing amide fibers with highly concentrated colors usually contain toxic chromium. The remaining dye in th dyebath containing $Cr^{6+}$ causes not only environmental problems but also serious damages to human health. In this study, we applied reactive dyestuff for dyeing wool and nylon in order to substitute heavy metal dyestuff. The dyeing properties of reactive dyestuff in fibers as well as their absorption rates and fastness according to color concentration were investigated. By analyzing the quantity of heavy metals and toxic amine of reactive dyestuff, we investigated their harmfulness trends quantitatively. By comparing the reactive dyes with traditional metal complex dyes, we tried to find out the possibility of the reactive dye being a clean dyes in the future.
Increasing global energy demand has resulted in an energy crisis. The dye sensitizer solar cell (DSSC) is an alternative source because of its ability to convert the sun's energy into electrical energy. Our aim was to determine the effect of synthesized Ni(II)-Chlorophyll for enhancing the efficiency of solar cells based DSSC. Complex compound Ni(II)-Chlorophyll was successfully synthesized as a dye sensitizer of $Ni(NO_3)_2.6H_2O$ and chlorophyll ligand with saponification method. Characterization results with spectrophotometer UV-Vis showed that the complex compounds of Ni(II)-Chlorophyll have a maximum wavelength of 295.00 nm, 451.00 and 665.00 nm. The bond between the ligand and metal appears in the vibration Ni-O at wave number $455.2cm^{-1}$. Complex compoun Ni(II)-Chlorophyll has a magnetic moment 7.10 Bohr Magneton (BM). The performance of complex compound Ni(II)-Chlorophyll as a dye sensitizer shows the value of short-circuit current (Jsc) at $3.00mA/cm^2$, open circuit voltage (Voc) at 0.15 V and the efficiency (${\eta}$) 0.20%.

Recently, people have concerned about environmental pollution. This environmental pollution occur due to many reasons such as heavy metal ions and anions. In this regard, many researchers have studied organic materials to monitor above reasons to protect environmental pollution. One of the organic materials for this function is chemosensor. This chemosensor has been studied and reported about monitoring toxic heavy metal ions and anions. In this study, the dye sensor was designed and synthesized through reaction of Rhodamine 6G and 1,3-Indanedion. this dye sensor selective detected $Hg^{2+}$ metal ions while showing red color absorption and yellowish-green strong fluorescence emission compared to other heavy metal ions such as $Cu^{2+}$, $Hg^{2+}$, $Ag^{2+}$, $Zn^{2+}$, $Fe^{2+}$ and $Fe^{3+}$. In this regard, we anticipated that this dye senosr can provide an significant material for monitoring mercury which cause environmental pollution. Thus, We investigated detailed properties of this dye sesnor with using UV-Vis absorption and fluorescent spectrophotometer, Job's plot method for metal binding complex, computational simulated calculation named Material Studio 4.3 suite to approach for electron distribution and HOMO/LUMO.

A Photosensitive Crown Ether Styryl Dye derivative(CESD) was prepared for the application and the structure of it was discussed. Light excitation causes the trans-cis isomerization of CESD yielding a conformation suitable to form a coordination bond between an anion group and a metal cation located in crown ether. Intermolecular complex stabilized the cis isomer that absorbs at a shorter wavelength in the trend-cis isomerization. Application of CESD was suggested.
Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC); an alternate energy source harvester has gained some attractive features such as high-energy conversion efficiency low production cost. Dye-sensitizer is a basic component of DSSC, which affecting the performance of the energy conversion efficiency. Current research has been focusing on development of high efficiency, metal-free dye-sensitizers, which would be more environmental friendly. We had successfully explored synthetic route to 6,6'-(1,2,5-oxadiazole-3,4-diyl)dipyridine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid (3A) which has been used as organic sensitizer. Investigation of light conversion efficiency (${\eta}$) of the compound uses standard measurement condition (one sun simulated irradiation, AM 1.5, 100 mW/$cm^2$) showed that it could reach 1.00% ($J_{SC}=2.63\;mAcm^{-2}$, $V_{OC}$=0.64 V and FF=0.59). Under the same conditions, the ruthenium complex (N719) gave the conversion efficiency as high as 4.02%($J_{SC}=10.50\;mAcm^{-2}$, $V_{OC}$=0.67V and FF=0.57).

A new chemosensor based on rhodamine B (1) for $Hg^{2+}$ and $Cu^{2+}$ was synthesized by one-step condensation reaction of rhodamine B hydrazide and Azo dye. Studying for its fluorogenic and colorimetric behaviors towards various metal ions, extreme sensitivity and selectivity were achieved by the detection of $Hg^{2+}$ and $Cu^{2+}$ over other commonly coexistent metal ions, which were accompanied by ring opening of a rhodamine spirocycle framework. In acetonitrile, the presence of $Hg^{2+}$ and $Cu^{2+}$ induces the formation of a Dye 1-ion complex, which was deduced by spectroscopy.

Diazotization of 2-Amino-5-nitrophenol was Synthesized by the direct diazotization method. The diazonium salts are usually stabilized in the from of double salts. The double salts of zinc chloride are the Commonest, and the double salt method is Specially applicable to the yield-up of coupling. The azo dye(2-naphthol-1-(2'-diazo-5'-nitrophenol)) is Converted into a chromium Complex by heating($100^{\circ}C$) with chromic formate, and DMF. The removal of inorganic salts from dyestuffs was performed in DMF solvent. This effect was more pronounced. From these results, It was obtained to liquid dyestuffs of metal complex with High fastness and high adsorption.
