According to data from the National Police Agency, 75.5 percent of dead traffic accidents in Korea are truck accidents. About 1,000 people die in cargo truck accidents in Korea every year, and two to three people die in cargo truck accidents every day. In the survey, Korean cargo workers answer poor working conditions as an important cause of constant truck accidents. COVID 19 is increasing demand for non-face-to-face logistics. The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is leading to excessive work burden for small logistics The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is causing excessive work burden for small individual carriers. The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is also evidenced by the number of deaths from logistics industry disasters that have risen sharply since 2020. Small and medium-sized Korean Enterprises located in CIPs (Connected Industrial Parks) often do not have smart access certification systems. And as a result, a lot of transportation time is wasted at the final destination stage. In the logistics industry, time is the cost and time is the revenue. The logistics industry is the representative industry in which time becomes money. The smart access authentication system architecture proposed in this paper allows small logistics private carriers to improve legal stability, and SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in CIPs to reduce logistics transit time. The CIPs smart access system proposed in this paper utilizes the currently active Mobile OTP (One Time Password), which can significantly reduce system design costs, significantly reduce the data capacity burden on individual cell phone terminals, and improve the response speed of individual cell phone terminals. It is also compatible with the OTP system, which was previously used in various ways, and the system reliability through the long period of use of the OTP system is also high. User customers can understand OTP access systems more easily than other smart access systems.

The study aims at offering a solution to the problems of transmission delay and data throughput decrease as the number of contending On-Board Units (OBU) increases by applying CSMA medium access control protocol based upon IEEE 802.11p. In a competition-based medium, contention probability becomes high as OBU increases. In order to improve the performance of this medium access layer, the author proposes EDCA which a adaptive adjustment of the Contention Windows (CW) considering traffic density and data type. EDCA applies fixed values of Minimum Contention Window (CWmin) and Maximum Contention Window (CWmax) for each of four kinds of Access Categories (AC) for channel-specific service differentiation. EDCA does not guarantee the channel-specific features and network state whereas it guarantees inter-AC differentiation by classifying into traffic features. Thus it is not possible to actively respond to a contention caused by network congestion occurring in a short moment in channel. As a solution, CWminAS(CWmin Adaptation Scheme) and ACATICT(Adaptive Contention window Adjustment Technique based on Individual Class Traffic) are proposed as active CW control techniques. In previous researches, the contention probabilities for each value of AC were not examined or a single channel based AC value was considered. And the channel-specific demands of IEEE 802.11p and the corresponding contention probabilities were not reflected in the studies. The study considers the collision number of a previous service section and the current network congestion proposes a dynamic control technique ACCW(Adaptive Control of Contention windows in considering the WAVE situation) for CW of the next channel.
The broadband wireless access industry, which provides high-tate network connections to stationary sites, has matured to the point at which it now has a standard for second-generation wireless metropolitan area networks. IEEE Standard 802.16, with its WirelessMAN air interface, set the stage for widespread and effective deployments worldwide. This paper presents an implementation of media access control that can be applied to BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) system. Medium access control (MAC) is a key issue in multi-access networks where a common channel is shared by many users. The designed MAC prototype roughly consists of MAC Hardware and MAC Software. The MAC Hardware part includes timing process, MAC transmission control, MAC reception control, and CRC/HCS process. The MAC Software part includes control of MAC signaling, network interface, and Physical (PHY) control. The designed MAC protocol will be integrated with the PHY of BWA in future and we can test overall system performance of MAC and PHY.
There are two kinds of network architectures in the IEEE 802.11:[1] distributed (ad-hoc) or centralized (infrastructure) wireless network. Centralized networks have an access point (base station) that can control the wireless medium access of stations in these networks. The 802.11 MAC protocol of an access point is the same as those of other stations in the contention period. This paper propose a novel MAC protocol of an access point to solve these problems. This MAC protocol adds a new contention-free period called EPCF (Extended PCF) to resolve accumulated data in the queue of an access point. Simulation results show that the new protocol performs better throughput than the 802.11 standard MAC with the less queue memory site requirement.

In this paper, a new high-speed local area network using a dual mode switching access (DMSA) protocol implemented on a dual unidirectional bus is described. By utilizing the implicit positionalordering of stations on a unidirectional bus, the proposed system switches between random access mode and the token access model withoug unnecessary delay. Therefore, unlike other hybrid systems such as Buzz-net and Z-net, DMSA does not show a rapid degradation in performance as the load increases. We obtain the average channel utilization and the average access delay by using a simplified analytic model. The numerical results obtained via analysis are compared to the simulation resuls for a partial validation of the approximate model. The performance characteristics of DMSA are superior delay-throughput characteristics at light and medium loads, compared to compared to other LAN systems, and the capability of providing a single active station with full capabity of the channel.
On the job training is useful : a part of on the job training has increased the marginal productivity of future and rate of wage. Investment in a human capital depends on character of investment and market conditions. The innovation role of small and medium firms has recently received increasing attention in newly industrializing countries as they attempt to transform their industries from labor intensive to technology intensive. It also suggests some implications to the small and medium firms' strategies and public policies accelerating research and development. Lack of qualified scientists and engineers often inhibits the small and medium firms' ability to access and assimilate external technical information. Such technical personnel are particularly scarce in NICs. Therefore, how to employ these technical staff should be an important issue for small and medium firms seeking to acquire distinctive competences. Small and medium firms must invest further education and training to its labor.

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial inclusion on micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises' (MSMEs) performance and examine the mediation role of financial intermediation and access to capital. The object of this study is MSMEs in Malang, Indonesia. The sample consists of 100 MSME actors in Malang City, which is determined using Roscoes theory. The data is collected using Simple Random Sampling method, by distributing questionnaire measured with Likert scales. The hypotheses proposed in this study are examined using Partial Least Square (PLS) model. The results of this study show that financial inclusion influences MSMEs' performance both directly and indirectly through mediation from financial intermediation and access to capital. The direct influence means that the efforts to increase access to financial services, especially access to credit financing for MSMEs, will be able to increase market share, number of workers, sales, as well as profit of the MSMEs. Increased financial inclusion has a major impact on improving MSMEs' performance through financial intermediation compared to access to capital. This means that the increase of financial access for MSMEs followed by an increase in financial intermediation in the form of a financial service approach to MSMEs will improve MSMEs' performance.

This paper proposes a novel exposed-terminal-eliminated medium access control (ETE-MAC) protocol by combining channel reservation, collision avoidance and concurrent transmissions to improve multi-access performance of the multihop wireless networks. Based on the proposed slot scheduling scheme, each node senses the control channel (CCH) or the data channel (DCH) to accurately determine whether it can send or receive the corresponding packets without collisions. Slot reservation on the CCH can be simultaneously executed with data packet transmissions on the DCH. Therefore, it resolves the hidden-terminal type and the exposed-terminal type problems efficiently, and obtains more spatial reuse of channel resources. Concurrent packet transmissions without extra network overheads are maximized. An analytical model combining Markov model and M/G/1 queuing theory is proposed to analyze its performance. The performance comparison between analysis and simulation shows that the analytical model is highly accurate. Finally, simulation results show that, the proposed protocol obviously outperforms the link-directionality-based dual-channel MAC protocol (DCP) and WiFlex in terms of the network throughput and the average packet delay.

Wimedia UWB(Ultra-Wideband) platform provides data rates up to 480Mbps in WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network). Wimedia conformant devices access to the channels through superframe concept for communications. As the channel resource is limited, the optimal channel time required for each device needs to be estimated to share the resource efficiently among the devices. In this paper, we propose a scheme to estimate the required channel time in a super frame to satisfy the QoS of the application on a device. The channel time is estimated from the service rate which is computed from the TSPEC of the application. In the process of the estimation, we take the frame overhead for data transmission as well as the overhead due to the acknowledgement scheme, preamble, and MDSU size into consideration. We also analyze and compare the throughputs for different acknowledgement scheme, preamble, and MDSU size situations. The estimated channel time required for a given service rate is allocated in the unit of MAS(Medium Access Slot).

In this paper, we investigate the existing medium access control (MAC) protocols to integrate the voice and data services in packet-based CDMA networks and furthermore, propose a new approach to circumvent the operational limits inherent in them. We propose the $P^2R$-CDMA (Prioritized Packet Reservation Code Division Multiple Access) protocol for the uplink in the synchronous multi-code CDMA system, which employs the centralized frame-based slot reservation along with the dynamic slot assignment in the base station using the QoS-oriented dynamic priority of individual terminal. The simulation results show that, as compared with the existing scheme based on the adaptive permission probability control (APC), the proposed approach can significantly improve the system capacity while guaranteeing the real-time requirement of voice service.
