The health center has to play an important role in promoting community health and satisfying a variety of community health needs and demands in the decentralized Korea. The nearly enacted Community Health Act compels every health center to make its own health plans which intend to deal with local health problems and plan its future health care. This obligation is obviously a big burden to most health centers. They do not have experiences in and abilities of making local health care plans. In order to establish a systematic community health plan, health centers have to concentrate their efforts on enhancing the ability of making health care plan through gathering and analysing the local health informations. However, it is very difficult in reality. This is simply because it will take long time to accomplish these activities. It seems natural that various professionals and researchers participate in carrying out the process of making community health plan in the initial stage. No standardized methodology and analysing framework exist even in the health professional society. Nonetheless, it is common to introduce survey research methodologies in analysing consumer's health care utilization and cost, and in identifying factors influencing health behaviors. Many researchers and professionals have applied social survey methodologies in obtaining information on providers and health policy makers as well. The authors have found that few studies have ever utilized local health data stored at the self-employed medical insurance society as the data source of planning activities. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the usefulness of the data stored at the Sung-Dong Gu Self-employed Medical Insurance Society in establishing the community health plan. The major contents of this study are as follows ; 1. frequency of utilization by age, area, sex, type of medical care institutions, and some major diseases 2. Medical treatment by type of medical care institutions, by classification of 21 diseases, by frequency of three-character categories 3. Medical treatment of major neoplasm and some chronic diseases by age, sex, and area. The conclusion of this study is that it is of great potentiality to find out the local health problems and to use them in blueprinting the community health plan through comparing the frequency of medical utilization analyzed by a variety of variables with NHI health data or the health data from survey research.

This study reviewed about Health Management of Women's with Menstrual Disorder and the differences in opinions between the Eastern- Western Nursing Sciences. The purpose of this study was to find out a possible integration of the Eastern-Western Nursing Sciences for Health Management of Women's with Menstrual Disorder and to suggest a distinct frame of Korean Nursing Intervention Method. In the last decade, the women's movement has succeeded in changing in inappropriate and poor treatment. The health consumer movement has also achieved many gains in improving the quality of health care. Yet the medical care offered women during their life stages is still characterized by a lack of effectiveness, safety, and consideration. Today, Although there are differences between Oriental and Western Medicine in approaches to clients, the Eastern-Western Nursing Sciences in approach to clients can be hoped that contribution will be made to the development of nursing intervention which is suitable to Korean context.

We are stepping into so called "aged society" stage, as the mature people account for 7% of the population by UN's standard yardstick. The goal of this research is to provide the fundamental source in producing ecological lifestyle uniforms of health and substantiality: LOHAS which are relevant to high performance and healthy body and take things like architecture, driving, surroundings, and recycling as main factors. the results of study were as follows: Therefore we can predict, through exerting researches about consumer's usage and preference of uniforms, that the garment business will be upgraded to the medical welfare and urban life style business level. All of the silver town resident we researched wear silver town uniforms, and the uniforms were chosen by the owner and operator. This research was processed through the survey of supervisors who were employed in senior residences. 66% of elderly changed their clothes for laundary every 2 days, The timing of removal of the old uniform was that 17% was less than 1 years, consideration of buying silver-town uniforms were consider materials, design, laundary, convenience of administration, durability, color, cost.

Healthcare systems around the world are struggling to cope with the pressures of rising costs, aging populations, and decisions about how to allocate and pay for seemingly limitless advances in high-technology medical procedures. Today healthcare environments are also changing greatly in Korea. The United States healthcare is being reinvented by reducing the costs and bringing service close to the consumer, and multi-strategies are being used to strive in the market driven shift. This study is aiming to get the lesson and direction of the future healthcare facilities in Korea by analysing the past and current trends of healthcare facilities in U.S..

인터넷의 발전은 통신과 방송의 융합으로 인터넷 방송이라는 새로운 방송형태를 이루었다. 인터넷의 발달로 인해 인터넷방송 또한 그 활용범위가 확대되고있다. 전자상거래에서 인터넷 방송이 적극적으로 활용됨으로써 상품이나 서비스에 대한 설득력이 높아지고 있으며, 교육이나 의료서비스 및 건강관리, 세미나 등에 활용되고 있어 그 수용자도 늘어나고 있다. 인터넷 방송은 그 역사가 오래되지 않고 지금 현재도 발전하는 단계이다. 이에 인터넷의 주 이용자층인 20-30대를 대상으로 인터넷 방송 컨텐츠를 어떻게 이용하는지 알아보고자 하였다.

The market for second hand products has been growing for a variety of reasons (e.g., new products appearing at a faster rate and the expected life of products increasing due to rapid advances in technology). The demand for warranties for second-hand products has been growing along with the growth of the market for second-hand products. Warranty for new products (consumer durables, industrial and commercial, and specialized defense products) has received a lot of attention. In contrast, warranties for second-hand product have received very little attention. Often, dealers of second-hand product such as cars offer 2D-warranties (Year and Kilometers). The expected warranty cost associated with a second-hand product for 2D-Policies is a function of the age of the item and its usage (as it affects failures over the warranty period), the warranty terms and the servicing strategy used by the dealer. This paper deals with development of models for warranty cost analysis along with the decision on sale price and warranty cover for 2D-Warranty policies associated with sale of second-hand products.

The development of food science in the near future probably depends on the advance in functional food science. Actually, a number of substances and products with potential for disease risk reduction rather than simply for health maintenance have been investigated for their body-modulating functions. Some of them have been applied in practice to the industrialization of functional foods in terms of foods for health uses. Health is becoming a more important aspect of food. Consumers increasingly see the link between food and health, thus generating growing levels of consumer interest in more actively managing their diets and, by implication, their health. there is demand from consumers and strong manufacturer push towards the development of food as medicine. Pharmaceutical companies are currently focused on the medical aspects of food as medicine, but it is expected that there will be an increase in the rate of active ingredients for lifestyle application.

The current study used the critical science paradigm to explore the kinds of oppression experienced by the families of patients in hospitals, and to suggest how the practices should be changed for problem solving. Ethnographic observations and individual interviews were peformed for data collection from the 25 family members of critically ill patients. The results revealed the powerlessness of patients' families caused by multiple oppressions. They were struggling with family-unfriendly hospital systems, negative interactions with medical staff, limited supports from health care systems, and their own resignation to fate. Strategies were discussed to facilitate changes in institutional, humane, policy, and religious/spiritual aspect. The study findings will contribute to promoting the rights of patients' families.

This paper describes control principles of the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor which is operated by the ultrasonic vibration generated by the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric ultrasonic motor has excellent characteristics such as compact size, noiseless motion, low speed, high torque and controllability, and has been recently applied for the practical utilization in industrial, consumer, medical and automotive fields. In this paper, the design of two-phase push-pull inverter for driving the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor is described, and a new control method of automatic resonant frequency tracking using PLL(Phase-Locked Loop) technique is mainly presented. the experimental results by this inverter system for driving the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor are illustrated herein. The inverter system with PLL technique improved the speed stability of the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor.

The rapid pace of growth in internet usage and rich mobile applications and with the advantage of incredible usage of internet enabled mobile devices the Green Mobile Crowd Computing will be the suitable area to research combining with cloud services architecture. Our proposed Framework will deploy the eHealth among various health care sectors and pave a way to create a Green Mobile Application to provide a better and secured way to access the Products/ Information/ Knowledge, eHealth services, experts / doctors globally. This green mobile crowd computing and cloud architecture for healthcare information systems are expected to lower costs, improve efficiency and reduce error by also providing better consumer care and service with great transparency to the patient universally in the field of medical health information technology. Here we introduced novel architecture to use of cloud services with crowd sourcing.
