The talk of today's era is innovation and convergence. Convergence can be seen as innovation because convergence is born through innovation and innovation is made through convergence. Crossover and collaboration (collectively referred to as "crossover") which are used as a concept of convergence in popular culture means the combination and integration of different genres or fields, and has recently been used in various fields such as movies and music. The use of crossover helps to break boundaries with other fields and create new works through free and diverse attempts. Thus, in this study, the convergence of popular culture, or crossover, is analyzed in conjunction with the Korean horror genre. Currently, Korean horror movies were popular from the 1990s to the early 2000s, but now only a few are coming out due to a series of poor box office performances. However, according to this study, crossover attempts have already begun in Korean horror films, and traces of crossover have been found in several successful films. In this study, we will further apply a collaboration of characters such as "Avengers" to present a new direction for Korean horror movies.

Purpose : This study aimed to identify the educational effects of the International Development Cooperation and Healthcare course from 2018 to 2020. Methods : Changes in awareness of international development cooperation (understanding international development cooperation as well as government Official Development Assistance [ODA], thoughts on aid, and thoughts on government's aid scale) were analyzed using web-based surveys. The pre-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks before the semester started, and the post-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks after the semester ended. All data were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program, and statistical significance was set at p< .05. Results : A total of 314 people participated in the survey before taking the course, and 286 people participated in the survey after taking the course. Analysis of the changes in students' awareness of international development cooperation showed that all items (understanding international development cooperation and government ODA, as well as having thoughts on aid and government's aid scale) were improved. Regarding changes in awareness according to general characteristics, thoughts on aid were statistically significant according to all characteristics except for 2018. Regarding government's aid scale, awareness scores increased after taking the course in students who majored in healthcare, fine arts and athletics, broadcasting and media studies, and digital contents. Conclusion : This study showed that changes in awareness of international development cooperation were largest in second-year students. Compared to changes regarding international development cooperation, government ODA, and thoughts on aid, changes regarding thoughts on government's aid scale were minor. In the future, it is necessary to develop class content suitable for the first-year level and to supplement and operate content that can change the way of thinking on government's aid scale.

This study aimed to figure out the characteristics and trends of female images in domestic cosmetic ads, in regard to the introduction and change of the feminism. To begin with, 86 TV commercials of Mamonde cosmetic brands, aired from 1991 to 2019, was analysed in both quantitative and qualitative method. In result, in the first period (1991~1997), the radical feminism was predominant, insisting equality with males. But in the second period (1998~2005), it returned to the liberal feminism in which conventional female images remains. In the third period (2006-2011), the feminism and the post feminism appeared to be mixed, while, in the fourth period (2012-2019), the post feminism has become remarkable where females actively pursue the beauty. To summarize, it is meaningful in academic aspect that the result is a case study which vertically examined the female images of one single cosmetic brand in terms of feminism, on the other hand, in practical aspect that they suggest the establishment of communication and creative strategies of female products.

Due to the development of online media platforms and the COVID-19 incident, the mass production and consumption of digital video content are rapidly increasing. In order to select digital video content, users grasp it in a short time through thumbnails and teaser videos, and select and watch digital video content that suits them. It is very inconvenient to check all digital video contents produced around the world one by one and manually edit teaser videos for users to choose from. In this paper, keyframes are extracted based on YCbCr color models to automatically generate teaser videos, and keyframes extracted through clustering are optimized. Finally, we present a method of producing a teaser video to help users check digital video content by connecting the finally extracted keyframes.

As Internet traffic surges due to global CPs, a request to share network investment costs has emerged in the industry. This has significantly changed the issue of the principle of network neutrality from accessibility to network fee. Some of the academic researchers had a negative view to network fees in the Internet space. However, in the industry, a number of disputes have occurred and some have escalated into court battles, and attention has been focused on the court's decision. The courts began to accept fee-for-service under network neutrality, and the government responded quickly by revising regulations. However, it still focuses on service stability, and there is no regulation that directly stipulates payment of network fee. In the study, changes in network neutrality were verified by analyzing cases of disputes between operators, court judgments, and improvement of regulations. And referring to the tragedy of the commons, the restoration of the correct price signal based on the principle of beneficiary pays was suggested as the most important solution. The payment of network fee by CP is one of the solutions.

In this study, we investigated the effect of peripheral blur on binocular fusion to resolve binocular fusion failure which is one of the 3D visual fatigues in the perspective of human visual system. With stimulus having discrete disparity change, binocular fusion failure rate for target stimulus having crossed and uncrossed disparity decreased. And target stimulus having continuous disparity also required relatively larger binocular disparity when peripheral blur was presented with target stimulus rather than when peripheral blur was not presented. These results imply that peripheral blur facilitated binocular fusion in the situation of binocular disparity change, and suggest that considering the characteristics of human three-dimensional visual systems, manipulating 3D contents can improve visual discomfort caused by binocular displays at low costs.

Through literary research, this study aims to study chinese characters in the Chosun Dynasty from the perspective of international exchange. While sorting out the historical materials, it investigates the implementation organ, educational content and main characteristics of Chinese education in the Chosun Dynasty, its influence on the Korean peninsula at that time and Its enlightenment to today's Chinese international education. The results show that the Chinese language education institutions in the Chosun Dynasty mainly played the role of Chinese language education in the Si service academy and the Sheng Wen Academy. The contents of Chinese language education mainly include the development of oral Chinese teaching materials, the publication of rhymes and other reference books, the compilation of dictionaries and the training of Chinese translators. Through the in-depth study of Chinese rhymes, the Korean Peninsula created its own Korean national character in 1443, getting rid of the will of Chinese characters. The invention of Korean language has greatly encouraged the political, economic and cultural development of the Korean peninsula. In addition, the Chinese language education in the Chosun Dynasty provides a good experience for today's Chinese international education in China.

Due to COVID-19, which has thrown the whole world into chaos, it has become an era where many technologies and contents are made non-face-to-face. At the same time, the popularity of the metaverse service is also increasing day by day, and the virtual costume (avatar) industry, one of the sub-industries, is also growing. In this study, we designed and developed a system for creating virtual costumes to be uploaded to ZEPETO, a mobile metaverse service. Unlike the existing service that requires a program that operates in a PC environment, it can be produced only by shooting and simple operation through a mobile device. With the advantage of being able to process all tasks of this system in a mobile environment, small businesses and individual operators who are not familiar with external programs will be able to more easily access the 3D virtual clothing industry.

Finding texts in general scene images and recognizing their contents is a very important task that can be used as a basis for robot vision, visual assistance, and so on. However, for the low-resolution text images, the degradations, such as noise or blur included in text images, are more noticeable, which leads to severe performance degradation of text recognition accuracy. In this paper, we propose a new Korean text image super-resolution based on a Transformer-based model, which generally shows higher performance than convolutional neural networks. In the experiments, we show that text recognition accuracy for Korean text images can be improved when our proposed text image super-resolution method is used. We also propose a new Korean text image dataset for training our model, which contains massive HR-LR Korean text image pairs.

As many different over-the-top (OTT) services become ubiquitous, demands for high-quality content are increasing. However, high dynamic range (HDR) contents, which can provide more realistic scenes, are still insufficient. In this regard, we propose a new HDR video reconstruction technique using multi-exposure low dynamic range (LDR) videos. First, we align a reference and its neighboring frames to compensate for motions between them. In the alignment stage, we perform content-based alignment to improve accuracy, and we also present a high-resolution (HR) module to enhance details. Then, we merge the aligned features to generate a final HDR frame. Experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms existing methods.
