Ginsenosides Production through in vitro Culture of Adventitous Roots Induced from Panax ginseng "Chunpoong" (인삼 천풍의 부정근 배양을 통한 Ginsenosides 생산)

  • We have investigated the optimal conditions for the growth and ginsenoside production in adventitious root of “Chunpoong” (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer). Ginseng adventitous roots induced from the embryo of “Chunpoong” were cultured in various plant media supplemented with several growth hormones. The best growth rate and high ginsenoside contents were obtained in B5 medium supplemented with IBA (2 mg/L) and kinetin (0.1 mg/L). The supplement of 2.5 mM KH$_2$PO$_4$ was good for high growth rate of the adventitious roots, but the accumulation of ginsenosides was increased by reducing the KH$_2$PO$_4$ concentration to 1.25 mM. We have established the effective liquid culture system for the optimal growth and ginsenoside production of “Chunpoong” adventitious roots.

  • The Information and Communication Technology(ICT) is applied variously by advanced development, however that also causes the ethical problem simultaneously nowadays. It is emphasized the necessity of information and communication ethics and the scheme also is suggested that the student actually may produce and use their own UCC as an educational material which relates to ethics of information and communication in this paper. By doing that activity, student could learn themselves from what they've produced. Therefore they can approach the subject with more interests, beside the method how teacher has been teaching normally which can be described as cramming. The suggestion is phased by the steps as below; First of all, adequate guidance is selected and the aim of education is established to the method of education through producing UCC by analyzing the contents system of information and communication ethics. Second, it is analyzed educational effect along media of UCC. Third, it is analyzed educational effect along the producing format of UCC. Finally, the scheme is developed that student could be learned from UCC they have created. Therefore, students could be participated by themselves more actively to the education and manage the negative effects of ICT. They also could acknowledge and determine the right ethical awareness of information and communication, and develop more advanced ethical awareness by doing this activity.

  • The scenography in terms of directorial viewpoints could suggest the overall vision of scripts rather than providing stage design only. I chose Antonio Buero Vallejo' because he presented the spatial characteristics and images clearly and believe that it could be an exciting challenge to change its original scenography that the playwright suggested. The concept of failed social success and enclosed repeated destiny spaces gave shape to my scenography of stairs. I chose every character in this play had to climb a flight of stairs in order to go outside because a main and sole entrance was located on the top floor. Characters' visual movement which went up in the morning for their dreams, but came down disappointedly due to failure day by day. This concept of scenography became the characters' given circumstances and intended to always affect the characters' acting during the show. Finally, I verified a new scenographic possibility beyond theoretical examination because I applied it to practical production.

The Status, Importance and Performance of the School Obesity Education in Elementary School (초등학교 비만교육의 실태 및 중요도와 수행도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the status of the nutritional education program on educational perception, facilities, contents and systems, which were focused on the school obesity education in the elementary school. A five point Likert scale was used to evaluate the importance and performance of each item in four sections of the survey and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA; gap between importance and performance) matrix analysis was applied to determine improvement priority. The findings from IPA matrix analysis are in the following. The items of the sections to be improved intensively are recognition of parents and in-charge teacher, availability of the education place, preparation of consulting room, preparation of various teaching media, interest of an education program, meal adjustment of overweight children, combination with education and exercise, education for psychological factors, development of scientific and systematic education program and reduction of meal service duty for education. Accordingly, the IPA matrix analysis suggested that an intensive improvement area should be excessively concentrated on for better performance. The regional gap between importance and performance showed significant difference for textbook and diet of overweight children in Kyunggi-Do. There were significant differences for the government perception, dietary habits and food-life education, fast-food education, education for breakfast importance, and education of school meal indication system and method to read food nutrition indication in Chollabuk-Do. As for the age gap between importance and performance, the twenties showed significantly bigger gaps in perception of school dietitians and linking between school meals and diet education. Therefore, more proactive efforts for the education for obesity prevention are necessary to prevent childhood obesity in elementary school and to help children to possess better health throughout their entire lives.

Qualitative Study on Improvement of Operating System and Tailored Nutrition Education Program for Marriage Immigrants to Korea: Program Providers' Perspective (다문화가정 맞춤형 영양교육 프로그램과 운영시스템 개선을 위한 질적 연구 : 프로그램 제공자 측면)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of nutrition education programs for multicultural families and to provide policy suggestions for improvement. Methods: In-depth interviews of a total of 21 multicultural experts were conducted; 15 people were interviewed individually, while 6 people were interviewed in groups of three. Results: In-depth interviews revealed various problems related to the operation of nutrition education programs. The causes of problems were analyzed and categorized as four factors: systemic, practical, environmental and cultural. As for the systematic factors, insufficient linkage between related organizations and duplicate performance of several projects were identified as concerns Establishment of a control tower and strengthening the linkage among the related organizations may be needed to address this concern. With regard to practical factors, the study identified that language barriers, and lack of nutritional education media and tools translated into multicultural languages were limiting factors. These limitations the development of nutrition education materials that aretranslated into multiple languages, implementation of education programs that are different from the Korean education, and by providing interpreters. As for the environmental factors, low educational level and poor nutritional knowledge of multicultural women made it difficult for them to understand the contents of the education. Demonstration, practical training and urgent education on pregnancy and childbirth nutrition were identified as needs to address these concerns. Withregard to cultural factors, food culture conflict with Korean families, and difficulties in home practices were detected as concerns. Participants in the study suggested that getting education with family and facilitation of weekend and nighttime programs health of this community. Conclusions: Further studies are needed to adopt more effective and efficient nutrition intervention to promote the healthy eating of the married immigrant women based on the study results.

A System for Extraction of Audience Reaction Based on Neural Network (신경회로망 기반의 관객 반응 추출 시스템)

  • Emotional reaction of audience can be decided by observing reaction of audience for content. We can use a method to analyze visual data from video camera to detect reaction of audience fast and economically. This paper proposes the method and system to observe audience reaction from visual data of audience and define via neural network. Also we propose a new method to detect automatically an area for audience reaction with face detection to improve a fixed area assignment method which has a limitation not to adapt depending on audiences. Additionally, the evaluation is implemented to show that the proposed method and system is effective. The proposed method showed the performance elevation of 10.5 % (7.75 hit ration) compared to a fixed area assignment method.

  • Today people use a smartphone as a tool for enjoying personal hobbies or entertaining contents as well as communication media. Most of the traditional game-specific platforms have transferred to smartphones equipped with social network games that integrate games with human relationships. As average life span of most games has been shortened gradually, game companies should be ready to develop new games to meet user needs. In this study we investigate the acceptance of social games, enjoyable by users and their friends linked in social networks. Since user behavior of social games may show cultural differences by country, we perform a comparative study on acceptance of social games between Korean and Chinese users. The structural relationships among factors affecting social game adoption have been analyzed focusing on differences between Korean and Chinese. We analyze similarities and differences of adoption mechanism in two countries and present some practical implications for related industry.

  • This paper discusses on implementation methods for providing data exchange capability of the Construction Project Lifecycle Management System (CPLM). Because most information media currently used in the construction industry are computer files, the system must be capable of handling various file types; however, The goals of PLM cannot be achieved if the contents of the files are communicated freely, which can only be achieved using a standardized information model that has comprehensive coverage of all information produced within the projects (i.e., a BlM). Several methods of adopting the model are investigated here, and a transitional implementation method for K-IFC is suggested, in which a file-based exchange backed by the BlM can evolve into object-level transactions of the BIM with not only advanced data integrity and security, but also improved communications between the project participants.

  • After platform changed from PC-based internet to mobile, SNS became new interactive media which relaces face-to-face interaction. the SNS users have already begun to recognize SNS as daily necessity. SNS market has been subdivided. In other words, SNS has entered into a period of vertical SNS that focus on contents and specific target. Therefore, It is necessary to analyze users for SNS planners. For this reason, analyzing why office workers who have the most powerful purchasing power use SNS is meaningful for SNS planners. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the reasons for using SNS of office workers by studying relationship among office workers' stress, social support, self-expression and the use of SNS. As a result, the use of SNS has a significantly positive correlation with social support and self-expression. The self-expression in the SNS is not associated with stress, but rather it is the characteristics of the office workers. However the social support in the SNS affects to stress.

4PBL model proposal for education of Game Design (게임 교과목 교육을 위한 4PBL모델 제안 연구)

  • This article aims to present an effective and systematic learning methodology of game curriculum which is oriented convergence education. In particular, I will present the 4PBL model reflecting the trend of the changing times from teacher-centered learning to learner-centered learning environment. The 4PBL model consists of Personal based Learning, Problem based Learning, Project based learning and Performance based Learning. In this article, I will explain the concepts and characteristics of PBLs at each stage by providing concrete examples of game education courses. Such an attempt may have a meaningful value in that it can suggest a learning environment in which knowledge can be structured subjectively in a changing educational paradigm.
