In this paper, a new stereo 3D moving-target tracking system using the MSE (mean square error) and BPEJTC (binary phase extraction joint transform correlator) algorithms is proposed. A moving target is extracted from the sequential input stereo image by applying a region-based MSE algorithm following which, the location coordinates of a moving target in each frame are obtained through correlation between the extracted target image and the input stereo image by using the BPEJTC algorithm. Through several experiments performed with 20 frames of the stereo image pair with $640{\times}480$ pixels, we confirmed that the proposed system is capable of tracking a moving target at a relatively low error ratio of 1.29 % on average at real time.

In this paper, we propose a level of contexts such as low level and high level contexts, and its criteria of categorization are the existence of interaction and composite process done by the inference mechanism. When there is no matching high level service for the associated high level context, this context is described as meaningless. If the services cannot be provided with the entities by the system, this situational information is of little consequence. To provide services with the entities, we propose "community computing" architectural concept which provide the high level service to a group of agents in a community, and can be managed by the service scenario

In this paper, high-speed Hybrid MAC (Medium Access Control layer) implementation suitable for smart grid applications is researched. MB-OFDM (Multi-Band Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is considered for high-speed communication method in smart grid application. In this paper, the MAC adopts the distributed network managing method. Also, the MB-OFDM merit of high-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps must be supported. Hence, this paper presents an efficient hardware-software integration (co-design) method in order to realize a high- speed transmission, and a realizing method of distribution network. Finally, MAC performance and reliability based on MB-OFDM PHY (PHYsical layer) are confirmed through simulation and emulation.

광 디스크의 용량을 증가시기키 위해선, 레이저 다이오드의 단파장화와 렌즈의 개구수 증가가 수년 동안 시도되어왔다. 불행히도 이러한 노력들은 디스크 틸트(tilt)로 인해 야기되는 코마(coma) 수차로 인한 부작용을 유발하였다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해, 램(random access memory, RAM) 디스크의 경우 몇 가지 검출과 보상 방법이 제안되었다. 그러나, 롬(read only memory, ROM) 디스크의 경우 아직까지 뚜렷한 해결책이 제시되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 8분할 광 검출기에 의해 생성되는 차동 위상 검출(differential phase detection, DPD) 신호를 이용한 고밀도 롬 디스크에서 래디얼(radial) 틸트를 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 3축 렌즈 구동형 액츄에이터(actuator)를 이용하여 개발한 래디얼 틸트 서보로 검출된 래디얼 틸트를 보상한다. 액츄에이터의 회전이 트래킹(tracking) 서보(servo)에 미치는 영향을 소개한다. 끝으로 제안된 방법의 유용성을 고밀도 롬 드라이브에 대한 실험을 통해 검증한다.

Aluminum based metal-organic framework using a di-carboxylate linker succinic acid (Al-SA MOF), are synthesized in water with minimal generation of secondary pollutants. The physicochemical properties of Al-SA MOF were examined, followed by its utility for the adsorption of Acid Black 1 (AB1) in aqueous media. Influences of key parameters such as pH, contact time, initial AB1 concentration,temperature, and selectivity on the adsorption process were assessed. A series of adsorption mechanisms are proposed, which involve electrostatic, hydrogen bonding, and hydrophobic interactions. These findings suggest that Al-SA MOF is a potent candidate in removing complex azo dyes molecules from aqueous media.

개인용 비디오 녹화기는 하나의 채널을 통해 수신된 스트림에 대해서만 재생 또는 하드 디스크에 저장할 수 있도록 구성되어, 다른 채널을 시청하면서 특정 채널의 방송을 저장할 수 없거나 2개의 튜너와 복조기를 탑재하여 녹화를 하면서 다른 실시간 방송을 시청할 수는 있으나 전자 프로그램 가이드를 이용하여 개인용 방송 편성을 구현하는데 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 종래 기술의 제반 단점과 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 개인용 비디오 녹화기의 기본 어플리케이션의 하나인 전자프로그램 가이드에서 현재 녹화되고 있는 채널 이외의 방송을 시청할 수 있도록 멀티 복조기를 탑재한 개인용 비디오 녹화기를 이용한 방송 편성 방법을 제안한다.

기존의 임베디드 시스템 환경에서는 대용량의 미디어 컨텐츠를 재생하고, 사용자 이벤트를 받아 실시간으로 처리하는데에 제한된 리소스로 인해 한계점이 있었다. 압축률이 좋고, 전송 및 재생에 효과적인 MPEG-4 시스템의 표준을 따르면서 제한된 리소스에서 사용자와의 인터렉션이 가능한 멀티미디어를 디스플레이할 수 있는 효율적인 기법이 요구된다. 임베디드 시스템의 MPEG-4 장면 랜더링에서 사용자 이벤트 처리를 위해 불필요한 노드 파싱을 제거하고 이벤트 처리 절차를 간략히 함으로써 효율적인 객체 교체와 객체 속성 변환 방법을 제안한다.

개인형 TV는 TV와 컴퓨터의 융합으로, 디지털 방송의 데이터 방송이 가능해짐에 따라 TV도 컴퓨터와 같이 다량의 정보 컨텐츠를 전달할 수 있게 되었다. 개인형 TV에서는 방송 컨텐츠가 보다 전문화되고 특화되어 개인 맞춤형 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 개인화된 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 전송용 어플리케이션의 보다 직관적이고 편리한 사용자 인터페이스를 제안한다.

산업폐기물 처리 및 관리는 제조 산업 관련한 공통된 이슈 중 하나이며, 폐기물의 적시 처리는 환경오염, 화재 등 사고 예방에 효과적이며, 특히 인체유해물질 발생 전 처리는 필수이다. 메타버스 공간內 공동 폐기물처리장을 마련함으로써 별도의 물리적/현실에서 공동 폐기물 처리장을 별도로 구축할 필요성이 없으며, 동일한 효과성을 발휘할 수 있는 콘텐츠 서비스로 제조 뿐 아니라 다양한 산업 내에서 활용성 역시 매우 높다. 이러한 산업폐기물 관리 서비스 3종을 구현하고 실증 방안을 제시하고자한다.

In the age of continuous media change and the coexistence of multiple forms of media, the relationship between the public's media use and political participation is an urgent area of study. This paper makes use of large national sample surveys from 2002, 2011, and 2015, summarizes the change of the public's media use by descriptive statistics analysis, and finds that while the Internet has become an important communication channel, the use of Internet for political information and political participation is still overestimated. Compared to the weak impact of different media channels for political information on political participation, the frequency of media exposure and Internet use play a significant role in political participation. Because of the negative effect of the frequency of Internet use on political participation, the democratization function of the Internet needs to be treated with caution. This paper describes media use and its roles in contemporary China, analyzes the impact of media use on political participation, and extends the cross-cultural application of the theory of political communication.
