  • 본 연구의 목적은 마이크로컴퓨터를 사용하여 유압모터로 구성된 전기 유압 서보 시스템의 속도제어를 하는데 있어서 제어방법과 제어기 기본 하드웨어인 마이크로프로세서와 A/D, D/A 변환기의 해상도(resolution)가 전체 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 주로 실험적으로 연구하는데 있다.

  • The load-sensing hydraulic system which was developed to improve energy efficiency of conventional hydraulic systems has its own properties. The instability of system responses, linearity of a servo valve, robustness for variation of external load, and dynamic interference between hydraulic motors are such properties which have much to do with control properties of the system. The load-sensing hydraulic system has instability tendancy because the load-sensing mechanism makes a positive feedback loop between the motor part and the pump part. A flow property of the servo valve can be said to be linear because the flow through the valve has nothing to do with a load pressure and the flow is strictly proportional to a valve opening which is adjusted by a valve command signal. The resultant control property can be said to be robust because the steady-state control performance is independent to the load actuated on the motor shaft. In the case when one pump simultaneously drives more than two hydraulic motors, the pump outlet pressure is determined by a hydraulic motor of the largest load pressure among all of the hydraulic motors, and, thus, the other motors are dominated by the largest load pressure. That is, the other motors can be said to be interfered by the motor of the largest load pressure.

  • This paper presents a study on successive approximation measurement of mechanical parameters for motor control system. At the first step of servo system installation, control system gain tuning is troublesome work. Recently, autotuning method of motion controller for motor drive system is based on parameter measurement and identification. On the case of first order mechanical system (mechanical parameters are modified by simple inertia and friction), it is necessary for good response to get the accurate measurement or identification of the mechanical parameters . In this paper, novel method applies the binary successive approximation measurement to the inertia and friction coefficient. Computer simulation and experiment for the proposed method will show verification of accuracy and usefulness.

  • The simple adaptive control(SAC) method has attracted attention for interest of the simple structure of its adaptive controller. We establish that the introduction of output derivative action to the original SAC system definitely improves the response characteristic of the control system. The effect of such an introduction is confirmed through experimental results by applying the method to a servo control system using a direct drive (DD) motor.

  • Hydraulic systems have severe nonlinearity inherently compared to other systems like electric control systems. Hence, precise modeling and analysis of the hydraulic control systems are not easy. In this study, the control performance of a hydraulic control system with a feedback linearization compensator and a disturbance observer was analyzed through experiments and numerical simulations. This study mainly focuses on the quantitative investigation of sensitivity on system uncertainties in the hydraulic control system. First, the sensitivity on the system uncertainty of the hydraulic control system with a Feedback Linearization - State Feedback Controller (FL-SFC) was quantitatively analyzed. In addition, the efficacy of a disturbance observer coupled with the FL-SFC for the hydraulic control system was verified in terms of overcoming the control performances deterioration owing to system uncertainty.

  • This research develops a sensorless hydraulic servo system of Parallel-Typed robot for harbour construction. Purpose of the robot is to mechanize the construction, which is accomplished through a joystick's operating by a stoneworker (or diver). The robot is attached on the end of an excavator as its attachment or transported by a crane to reach the desired place. The embedded compact controller is installed on the robot body and controlled by wireless telecommunication. For underwater work, it is necessary to waterproof the robot and its sensors. Especially, a sensor waterproof is a main drawback for the underwater robot. This leads us to develop a hydraulic robot position controller using an observer which gives the position information without any position sensor. We design a neural network to identify the displacement change according to the command voltage to servo valve. To verify the sensorless controller, this paper presents the performance of the sensorless control for which the position is given by the observer comparing with that of the sensor control for which the position is measured by LVDT sensors.

  • BLDC motor is widely used in automation areas for its good maintenance and controllability. In this paper it is designed for a speed control servo system of sinusoidal typo BLDC motor that can be easily adapted to automation systems with lower cost. Also, control parameters & periods are made adjustable according to the sensors of the motor, electric and mechanical time constant, and PI and PD control are used. The processor for the proposed system is a low cost 16bit One-Chip microprocessor. By experimental results from application to the industrial sewing machine, one of the application of BLDC motor, it can be verified that under the given reference, the system is enough as a speed and position servo without overshoots.

  • In this study, a new PWM method considering the actuation delay of high speed solenoid valves is proposed to improve the response characteristics of electro hydraulic servo systems controlled by high speed solenoid valves. In addition, the decision method for the system gain, the basic period of PWM, and the sampling time is proposed, Since the conventional system controlled by high speed solenoid valves is too slow to apply this method, a high speed driving circuit(Quick-Drive) which enables rapid switching of the high speed solenoid valve at a high speed sampling mode is applied to realize this method. The experimental result shows that it is possible to achieve precision and quiet control without occurrence of limit cycle and wide range dead band.

비례압력제어밸브 개발 (A Development of Proportional Pressure Control Valve)

  • A proportional pressure control valve has a nonmagnetic ring which is inserted in between a coil and plunger and it can get attraction force in proportion to input current by an influence of control cone. Therefore, a proportional pressure control valve is applied to a servo system as substitution of servo valve and an on-off solenoid valve widely because control of a high level is possible and pollution level is low. The purpose of this study is to develop domestic model of a proportional pressure control valve, and a test model was designed and manufactured through valve system analysis and finite element analysis. And comparison between results of theoretical analysis and static / dynamic characteristics test were carried out on a manufactured test model, and it was confirmed that it has excellent performance in comparison with other foreign products.
