  • We already fabricated a proto-type HTS charging system with photovoltaic (PV) system and obtained design parameters for DC converter and HTS charging system. In order to develop the real scale charging system efficiently, we suggested a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller using a perturb and observe (P&O) MPPT algorithm for PV system. In this paper, we designed and simulated the MPPT controller for the real scale HTS charging system. As well as, the PV module has been analyzed by solving solar cell equivalent equations. The simulated and theoretical results presented here are being considered the next study which addresses the design and fabrication parameters.

  • In this paper described common MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) control algorithm; Constant Voltage Control, P&O(Perturbation and Observation), IncCond(Incremental Conductance), and investigated it's efficiency. Through simulation and efficiency evaluation, analyze the steady/transient states characteristics and efficiency of control algorithms respectively. Also, To high-efficiency proposed Two-mode MPPT control for improve on the existing control algorithm. Moreover, this paper suggested a topology for MPPT measuring efficiency and a method of examination.

  • This paper proposed a MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) control algorithm for PV(Photovoltaic) array based on a modified constant voltage control MPPT algorithm at low insolation. This method which combined a reference voltage control and a constant voltage control algorithm. In contrast to the typical conventional MPPT algorithm, the proposed method have been obtained high efficiency and good performance in all insolation intensity. The proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment.

  • A monolithic SiGe HBT variable gain driver amplifier(VGDA) with high dB-linear gain control and high linearity has been developed as a driver amplifier with ground-shielded microstrip lines for 5-GHz transmitters. The VGDA consists of three blocks such as the cascode gain-control stage, fixed-gain output stage, and voltage control block. The circuit elements were optimized by using the Agilent Technologies' ADSs. The VGDA was implemented in STMicroelectronics' 0.35${\mu}m$ Si-BiCMOS process. The VGDA exhibits a dynamic gain control range of 34 dB with the control voltage range from 0 to 2.3 V in 5.15-5.35 GHz band. At 5.15 GHz, maximum gain and attenuation are 10.5 dB and -23.6 dB, respectively. The amplifier also produces a 1-dB gain-compression output power of -3 dBm and output third-order intercept point of 7.5 dBm. Input/output voltage standing wave ratios of the VGDA keep low and constant despite change in the gain-control voltage.

  • During a ground fault the maximum fault current and neutral to ground voltage will appear at the pole nearest to the fault. Distribution lines are consisted of three phase conductors, an overhead ground wire and a multi-grounded neutral line. In this paper phase to neutral faults were staged at the specified concrete pole along the distribution line and measured the ground fault current distribution in the ground fault current, three poles nearest to the fault point, overhead ground wire and neutral line. A effect by grounding resistance of poles of ground fault current in the 22.9[kV] multi-ground distribution system. by field tests.

  • 태양전지를 이용한 LED 가로등 시스템은 태양광을 이용한 신재생에너지를 효율적으로 이용하기 위한 디지털제어 융합기술이다. 고휘도 LED(Light Emitting Diode)를 이용한 조명 시스템은 수명이 길고, 효율이 높고, 디지털 제어가 가능하여 백열등 및 형광등을 대체할 차세대 친환경 조명으로 주목받고 있다. 제안된 시스템은 태양광을 이용한 지능형 LED 가로등 전류 제어 시스템으로서, 배터리 수명을 연장하기 위하여 충전 방식 개선하고, 배터리 충전 상태와 조명시간에 따라 LED 방전 전류를 효율적으로 제어한다.

  • 설명되는 비교와 분석은 두개의 간단하고 빠르면서 신뢰성 있는 광기전력 시스템에 대한 최대전력점추적 기술의 비교를 나타낸다 : 즉 전압에 기초한 최대전력점추적과 전류에 기초한 최대전력점추적 방법이다. 온라인으로 전압, 전류 측정이 가능하고 전압에 기초한 최대전력점추적과 전류에 기초한 최대전력점추적 알고리즘으로 프로그램된 마이크로프로세서로 제어되는 추적기가 구성된다. 솔라 시스템의 부하로는 양수펌프 또는 저항으로 한다. 새로운 추적기의 모델링과 모의실험을 위해 시뮬링크 툴을 이용한다. 기존의 추적기와 비교되는 새로운 최대전력점추적기의 장점은 효율적이며 싸고 더 신뢰성 있는 태양광 발전 시스템으로서 dummy 셀의 제거이다.

  • 전동기의 동손 및 철손을 포함한 손실이 최소가 되는 운전 점을 추적함으로써, 전동기의 제정수 변동에 무관하게 항상 최대 효율점에서 영구자석 동기전동기를 운전할 수 있는 새로운 최대 효율 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 최대 효율점 추적 제어 알고리즘은 전류의 위상각 변동에 따른 가변속 구동장치의 입력 전력 변화로부터 부하 변동에 의한 영향을 제거함으로써 정상 상태에서 부하변동에 무관하게 최대 효율점으로 수렴이 가능하고, 그 구성이 단순하기 때문에 산업계에 널리 적용될 수 있다. 실험을 통해 제안된 알고리즘의 효용성을 입증한다.

  • Because Image on the CRT change under different illuminants, human is difficult to see original color of object. If what is information of used illuminant on capturing object know, image can be transformed according to viewing condition using the linear matrix method. To know information of used illuminant at an image, the spectral radiance of illuminant can be estimated using the linear model of Maloney and Wandell form an image. And then image can be properly transformed it using color appearance model. In this paper, we predict the spectral radiance of illuminant using spectral power distribution of specular light and using surface spectral reflectance at maximum gray area. and then we perform visual experiments for the corresponding color reproduction according to viewing condition. In results, we ensure that the spectral radiance of illuminant at an image can be well estimated using above algorithms and that human visual system is 70% adapted to the monitor's white point and 30% to ambient light when viewing softcopy images.

  • 수냉형 인버터는 냉각 시 칠러를 사용하게 되는데 칠러는 입력 냉각수의 온도가 높을수록 열교환 효율이 높아져 소비전력이 감소한다. 하지만 인버터는 입력 냉각수의 온도가 높을수록 손실이 증가하게 되므로 수냉형 인버터는 각각의 출력 부하에 따라 최대 효율 점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 각각의 출력 부하에서 냉각수 온도 제어를 통해 수냉형 인버터의 최대 효율점을 추적하는 방법을 제안한다.
