유체온도 변화에 따른 Raman 산란 특성 (Raman Scattering Characteristics with Varying Liquid Water Temperature)

  • This paper presents Raman scattering of liquid water to obtain the characteristics with variation of temperature. Very clear Stokes-Raman signals were observed, which shows H-O vibration stretching and H-O-H vibration bending. The obtained spectrum were processed by FFT filter to extract the noise and base. The spectral shape of the H-O stretching provided a various sensitive signature which allowed temperature to be determined by a curve-fitting technique. Those are Maximum Intensity, Maximum Wave Length, FWHM(Full Width at Half Maximum), PMCR(Polymer Monomer Concentration Ratio) and TSIR(Temperature Sensitive Intensity Ratio). TSIR method shows the highest accuracy of $0.1^{\circ}C$ in mean error and $0.32^{\circ}C$ In maximum error.

Thermoluminescence(TL)를 이용한 농산물의 방사선 조사유무 확인 (Detection of Irradiated Agricultural Products by Thermoluminescence(TL))

  • 국내에서 생산된 농산물의 방사선 조사유무를 확인하기 위하여 TL을 측정하였다. 모든 시료의 first glow curve는 조사선량이 증가할수록 TL intensity도 증가하는 경향을 보여 주었다. 당근, 생강, 감자, 고구마의 상관계수는 0.8522, 0.9968, 0.9612, 0.9071의 높은 값을 나타내었으며, first glow curve의 최대발광온도점은 $176.16{\sim}190.08^{\circ}C$사이에 있었고, second glow curve는 $143.84{\sim}146.56^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 나타났다. Glow curve ratio 1은 감자와 고구마를 제외하고 모두 0.1보다 작은 수치를 보여 비조사시료로 확인되었으며, 감자(0.1840)와 고구마(0.1655)는 0.1보다 큰 수치를 보였으나 독특한 first glow curve가 나타나지 않은 점으로 보아 비조사시료로 확인되었다. 그리고 모든 시료의 glow curve ratio 2는 0.7159보다 높은 수치를 나타내어 조사시료로 확인되었다. Glow curve의 모양을 분석한 결과 second glow curve의 모양이 first glow curve의 유사하였고, 더 낮은 온도에서 나타났다. 따라서 glow curve ratio와 glow curve의 모양에 의해 정확하게 조사유무를 확인할 수 있었고 TL을 이용하여 방사선 조사된 농산물의 검지가 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

단위유량도법에 의한 소유역의 계획홍수량 결정 (A Determination of Design Flood for a small Basin by Unit Hydrograph Method)

  • The 30-year design flood hydrograph for the Musim Representative Basin, one of the study basins of the International Hydrological Program, is synthesized by the method of unit hydrograph. The theory of unit hydrograph has been well known for a long time. However, the synthesis of flood hydrograph by this method for a basin with insufficient hydrologic data is not an easy task and hence, assumptions and engineering judgement must be exercized. In this paper, the problems often encountered in applying the unit hydrograph method are exposed and solved in detail based on the theory and rational judgement. The probability rainfall for Cheonju Station is transposed to the Musim Basin since it has not been analyzed due to short period of rainfall record. The duration of design rainfall was estimated based on the time of concentration for the watershed. The effective rainfall was determined from the design rainfall using the SCS method which is commonly used for a small basin. The spatial distribution of significant storms was expressed as a dimensionless rainfall mass curve and hence, it was possible to determine the hyetograph of effective design storm. To synthesize the direct runoff hydrograph the 15-min. unit hydrograph was derived by the S-Curve method from the 1-hr unit hydrograph which was obtained from the observed rainfall and runoff data, and then it was applied to the design hyetograph. The exsisting maximum groundwater depletion curve was derived by the base flow seperation. Hence, the design flood hydrograph was obtained by superimposing the groundwater depletion curve to the computed direct runoff hydrograph resulting from the design storm.

힐버트 커브 프랙탈 구조를 이용한 GPS 수신 안테나 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of the GPS Receiving Antenna using Hilbert Curve Fractal Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 힐버트 커브 프랙탈 구조를 이용한 GPS 수신 안테나를 제안하였다. 힐버트 커브 프랙탈 다이폴 구조를 이용하면 안테나 크기가 증가되므로 다이폴 구조를 모노폴 형태로 변형하여 안테나 크기를 소형화하였다. 힐버트 커브 프랙탈 구조를 이용하기 위하여 복사기의 전류방향을 서로 반대 방향으로 하였다. 최적화된 안테나의 크기는 $10{\times}10{\times}0.8[mm]$이고, 선폭은 0.25[mm]이다. 공진주파수는 1.58[GHz]이고, 주파수 범위는 1.52[GHz]~1.65[GHz]이다. 주파수대역폭은 130[MHz]이다. 안테나 최대 이득은 3.09[dBi]이다.

지형여건을 고려한 철도 완화곡선 연장방법의 적용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Extension Method in Railway Transition Curved Zone Considering Field Status)

  • 철도 곡선부는 열차 운행속도에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 이 곡선부에서 완화곡선 길이는 곡선구간의 선형 적합성을 평가하는데 주요 요인 중 하나가 되며, 이 값은 주행속도와 캔트값에 의해 결정 되어진다. 본 연구에서는 장항선을 대상으로 완화곡선 길이를 확보하기 위한 평가를 실시한 결과 곡선구간의 약 2/3이 연장에 필요한 구간으로 밝혀졌으며, 완화곡선 연장방법을 적용함에 있어 곡선중점의 변경은 없고 곡선반경을 변화시켜 연장하는 방법이 선로중심선에서의 최대 이동량 및 곡선반경 편차를 최소화시킬 수 있으며, 또한 전면적인 선형개량이 어려울 경우 선형 적합성 및 속도향상에 효과적일 것이다.

3차원 2진 로봇 머니퓰레이터의 역기구학적 해석 (Inverse Kinematic Analysis of a Three Dimensional Binary Robot Manipulator)

  • A three dimensional binary parallel robot manipulator uses actuators which have only two stable states and its structure is variable geometry truss. As a result, it has a finite number of states and fault tolerant mechanism because of kinematic redundancy. This kind of robot manipulator has some advantages compared to a traditional one. Feedback control is not required, task repeatability can be very high, and finite state actuators are generally inexpensive. Because the number of states of a binary robot manipulator grows exponentially with the number of actuators it is very difficult to solve and inverse kinematic problem. The goal of this paper is to develop an efficient algorithm to solve an inverse kinematic problem of three dimensional binary parallel robot manipulator using a backbone curve when the number of actuators are too much. We first derive the coordinate transformations associated with a three degree of freedom in-parallel actuated robot manipulator. The backbone curve is generated optimally by considering the maximum roll and pitch angles of the robot manipulator configuration and length of link. Then, the robot manipulator is fitted along the backbone curve with some criterion.

무인차량의 강인한 경유점 주행을 위한 베지어 곡선 기반 경로 계획 (Bezier Curve-Based Path Planning for Robust Waypoint Navigation of Unmanned Ground Vehicle)

  • This paper presents a sensor fusion-based estimation of heading and a Bezier curve-based motion planning for unmanned ground vehicle. For the vehicle to drive itself autonomously and safely, it should estimate its pose with sufficient accuracy in reasonable processing time. The vehicle should also have a path planning algorithm that enables to adapt to various situations on the road, especially at intersections. First, we address a sensor fusion-based estimation of the heading of the vehicle. Based on extended Kalman filter, the algorithm estimates the heading using the GPS, IMU, and wheel encoders considering the reliability of each sensor measurement. Then, we propose a Bezier curve-based path planner that creates several number of path candidates which are described as Bezier curves with adaptive control points, and selects the best path among them that has the maximum probability of passing through waypoints or arriving at target points. Experiments under various outdoor conditions including at intersections, verify the reliability of our algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 동력전달용 기어에 주로 쓰이는 물림률 1.3 이상일 때, 치면접 촉응력과 공칭굽힘응력이 작게되는 풀림각 1˚로 고정하여 잇수 30∼100개 압력각 14˚∼30˚의 범위에서 최소 원호반경식과 치형 조건을 만족하는 최대 원호반경식에 대하여 고찰하였다.

Loss Analysis by Impeller Blade Angle in the S-Curve Region of Low Specific Speed Pump Turbine

  • A pump turbine is a technically matured option for energy production and storage systems. At the off-design operating range, the pump turbine succumbed to flow instabilities, which correlated with the pump turbine geometry. A low specific speed pump turbine was designed and modified according to the impeller blade angle. Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes is carried out with a shear stress transport turbulence model to evaluate the detailed flow characteristics in the pump turbine. The impeller blade inlet angle (𝛽1) and outlet angle (𝛽2) are used to evaluate hydraulic loss in the pump turbine. When 𝛽1 changed from low to high value, the maximum efficiency is increased by 4.75% in turbine mode. The S-Curve inclination is reduced by 8% and 42% for changes in 𝛽1 and 𝛽2 from low to high values, respectively. At α = 21°, the shock loss coefficient (𝜁s) is reduced by 16% and 19% with increases of 𝛽1 and 𝛽2 from low to high values, respectively. When 𝛽1 and 𝛽2 values increased from low to high, the impeller friction coefficient (𝜁f) increased and decreased by 20% and 8%, respectively. Hence, the high 𝛽2 effectively reduced the loss coefficient and S-Curve inclination.

Diphasic Analysis of Growth in Japanese Quail

  • A line of Japanese quail selected for increased body weight for 15 generations (C) and an unselected control line (K) were used to examine the impact of selection for body weight on the growth curve of Japanese quail. In addition, the effect of sex on the growth curve in each line was also studied, namely females of C (CF), males of C (CM), females of K (KF) and males of K (KM). The monophasic and diphasic growth models were studied for adequacy in describing growth curves of quail in both sexes of the C and K lines. The monophasic function provided almost the same growth rate for both sexes in both lines. However, the growth rates calculated by means of the diphasic function differed between sexes for both lines, except for those calculated for C during the second growth phase. While there were 2-3 days difference between sexes in age at maximum gain in both lines with a monophasic model, the difference between sexes in the age at maximum gain in both lines became greater according to the diphasic model. There were 5 and 7 days difference between sexes in the age at maximum gain in line C for the first and second growth phases, respectively. A difference between sexes of 18 and 11 days in the age at maximum gain for the first and second phases, respectively, was estimated for line K when the diphasic function was fitted. The use of diphasic functions provides more detailed information on growth patterns. The results showed that the use of the diphasic function was better because it provided greater insights into understanding the biology of growth.
