  • In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the stability of the 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic functional equation f( x + y, z - w) + f(x - y, z + w) = 2f(x, z ) + 2f(y, ${\omega}$). The quadratic form f( x, y) = $ax^2$ + $by^2$ without cross product terms is a solution of the above functional equation.

  • In this paper we study the existence of global weak solutions for a hyperbolic hemivariational inequalities with boundary source and damping terms, and then investigate the asymptotic stability of the solutions by using Nakao Lemma [8].

  • This paper analysed gifted middle students' conception of the definitions of point and line and the uses of definitions in proving. The findings of this paper suggest that the concept of mathematical definitions is very unnatural to students, therefore teachers and textbooks need to explain explicitly the characteristics of mathematical definitions which are different from dictionary definitions using common sense. Also introducing undefined terms in middle school geometry would give students a critical chance to deal with the transition from dictionary definitions to mathematical definitions.

  • The Berezin transform is the analogue of the Poisson transform in the Bergman spaces. Dyakonov characterize the holomorphic weighted Lipschitz function in the unit disk in terms of the Possion integral. In this paper, we characterize the harmonic weighted Lispchitz function in terms of the Berezin transform instead of the Poisson integral.

  • A generalization of Liouville's theorem on integration in finite terms, by enlarging the class of fields to an extension called Ei-Gamma extension is established. This extension includes the $\varepsilon$L-elementary extension of Singer, Saunders and Caviness and contains the Gamma function.

  • The initial-boundary value problem for a class of nonlinear higher-order wave equations system with a damping and source terms in bounded domain is studied. We prove the existence of global solutions. Meanwhile, under the condition of the positive initial energy, it is showed that the solutions blow up in the finite time and the lifespan estimate of solutions is also given.

  • In this paper, we present an analysis of how students understand some statistical terms, mainly from inferential statistics, which are taught at the high school level. We focus our analysis on those terms that present more difficulties and are persistent in spite of having been studied until the college level. This analysis leads us to a hierarchical classification of responses at different levels of understanding using the SOLO theoretical framework.

  • We introduce high-order Hopfield neural networks with Leakage delays. Furthermore, we study the uniqueness and existence of Hopfield artificial neural networks having the weighted pseudo almost periodic forcing terms on finite delay. Our analysis is based on the differential inequality techniques and the Banach contraction mapping principle.

  • We introduce Clifford-valued neural networks with leakage delays. Furthermore, we study the uniqueness and existence of Clifford-valued Hopfield artificial neural networks having the Stepanov weighted pseudo almost periodic forcing terms on leakage delay terms. However the noncommutativity of the Clifford numbers' multiplication made our investigation diffcult, so our results are obtained by decomposing Clifford-valued neural networks into real-valued neural networks. Our analysis is based on the differential inequality techniques and the Banach contraction mapping principle.
