Posner [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 8 (1957), 1093-1100] defined a derivation on prime rings and Herstein [Canad, Math. Bull. 21 (1978), 369-370] derived commutative property of prime ring with derivations. Recently, Bergen [Canad. Math. Bull. 26 (1983), 267-227], Bell and Daif [Acta. Math. Hunger. 66 (1995), 337-343] studied derivations in primes and semiprime rings. Also, in near-ring theory, Bell and Mason [Near-Rungs and Near-Fields (pp. 31-35), Proceedings of the conference held at the University of Tubingen, 1985. Noth-Holland, Amsterdam, 1987; Math. J. Okayama Univ. 34 (1992), 135-144] and Cho [Pusan Kyongnam Math. J. 12 (1996), no. 1, 63-69] researched derivations in prime and semiprime near-rings. In this paper, Posner, Bell and Mason's results are extended in prime near-rings with some conditions.
The purpose of this research is to discover and analyze the stages of concern, level of use, innovation configurations and the analysis of their relationship to each other of storytelling-based math education among elementary teachers based on the concerns-based adoption model (CBAM). And then the researcher derives support strategies for the education by empirically examining at which levels and how actual elementary teachers perceive storytelling-based math education and also how they adopt it. In addition, the researcher lays the purpose of this study on seeking proper supporting strategies for helping elementary teachers implement storytelling-based math education and providing basic material for teaching activities by examining the correlation between stages of concern, levels of use and the innovation configuration, and grasping the relation between teachers concern and their educational practice regarding storytelling-based math education.
This study intended to search for the way of NIE use as follows: 1) Setting up theoretical base about the way of NIE use to math loaming in primary school. 2) Analyzing the course mathematising through NIE use in math learning in practice. 3) Searching for the way of NIE use to aim at mathematising. As the result, this presented NIE model for mathematising according to the character of each step of the mathematising course. This paper says two things : The first, the way for using learning materials as reonstructing articles of newspapers to teach math learning 1) is searched for each information, scrapped to materialize. 2)is to extract the contents of NIE teaming available to the field and the unit of math curriculum. 3) searches for and applies the model for math NIE teaming. 4) makes up learning materials for each level using articles and presents the matters of deepening and supplement suitable for students. The second, the way for teaching math NIE with a view to helping students' mathematising during the course of teachers' math teaming. 1) reconstructs materials chosen by students' reality. 2) should offer students' communication and abundant context materials which mathematical model is possible. 3)needs to guide students to have motivation teaming so that they can mathematise their real matters by rediscovery 4) progresses mathematical activity using newspapers so that they can apply to new reality by applying informed Idea.
From a social constructivists' perspective, knowledge is not transmitted by language but it is constructed by social interactions with others. That is, it is viewed in social constructivism that learning is a process in which knowledge is constructed by communicative interactions with more capable others. In this vein, a class might be analyzed and characterized in terms of interactional patterns of teacher-student and student-student in class. For this, a primary math class was selected and observed and it was analyzed by the Flanders category system to investigate the effects of the math teaching based on verbal interactions on the learning of math. The class was taught in a teacher-centered and direct way but in the class math knowledge was taught through univocal communications in the form of question-answer. The results of this study appeared to suggest that verbal interactional patterns should take place frequently in math teaching in the sequence of a teacher's questions$\to$students' extensive responses $\to$ positive feedback for the students' responses by the teacher $\to$ the acceptance of the students' responses $\to$ the teacher's explanation or students' questions. In other words, math might be taught more effectively through the verbal discourse patterns proposed in this study.

This paper takes another approach in assessing students' perception of mathematics. Instead of asking for verbal description of the students' perception of mathematics, we asked the respondents who were all college students to draw their perception of mathematics. This relatively new approach enabled students to take a second look of how they perceived math and, at the same time, explored students' creativity and provided a less austere appearance to mathematics which was taken usually in a more formal and severe manner. This approach of assessing students' perception of mathematics generated new information that could not be normally gleaned from other approaches like Likert Scale. Some drawings of mathematics of the respondents reinforced their math affect towards mathematics. For those who hated math, their drawings revealed so the same is true with those who loved mathematics. Examining the visual representations of mathematics and looking for commonalities, the researcher found a number of interesting themes that may shed some light to educators' understanding of students' math affect.
The purpose of this study is to find out if there are meaningful differences between small rural middle schools and nearby urban ones In the mathematical diagnostic evaluation. It also says how to improve students' scholastic abilities, making up a question of attitudes towards math to know the mathematical abilities lowering cause in small rural middle schools. Findings are, 1. Students must recognize that studying math is essential and be interested in it. 2. The mathematical confidence is needed. 3. A strong will of studying math hard is important. 4. Students must have a motivational triggering, while solving math problems and then checking answers for themselves. 5. Backward countries' humanistic and social environmental factors should be overcome. In conclusion, we expect the mathematical abilities improvement, making students remove the mathematical abilities lowering cause after having a learning experience suitable for the rural community instead of the negative attitudes towards math.
