Due to difficulty in minimally invasive surgery, training simulator is actively researched. A volumetric deformable organ is created by employing a shape-retaining chain-linked (S-chain) model to realize positioning a human organ model in virtual space. Since the main principle of the S-chain algorithm is that the repulsive force is proportional to the number of chain elements, the calculation time can be increased according to the magnitude of deformation. In this work, the advanced S-chain algorithm is used to calculate the repulsive torque according to spin motion. Finally, haptic architecture was constructed using this S-chain model by incorporating the virtual organ with a real master device, which allows the repulsive force and target position to be transferred to each other. The control performance of S-chain algorithm has been evaluated via experiment.

Objective: This study aims to explore the relationship between isokinetic strength training and the enhancement of physical function in older adults. It also evaluates the effectiveness of isokinetic strength training equipment. Method: This study randomly divided twenty healthy adults into two groups. The experimental group engaged in isokinetic strength training for 30 minutes, three times a week, over a four-week period. In contrast, the control group did not participate in any exercise regimen. We assessed several outcome measures including physical functions (sit-to-stand test, flexibility, Timed Up and Go test), grip strength, balance, thigh circumference, the Korean version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and the Korean version of the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). Additionally, the experimental group's self-perceived improvement in lower limb condition was evaluated using the Global Rating of Change (GROC) scale. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvements compared to the control group in various aspects: reduced sit-to-stand test duration (7.00±2.05 seconds), increased flexibility (4.69±3.90 cm), improved grip strength (1.54±1.74 kg), increased thigh circumference (left: 1.29±1.19 cm, right: 1.19±1.27 cm), enhanced Timed Up and Go test performance (-1.47±0.86 seconds), better balance (eyes open stance: -8.08±4.03 cm, eyes closed stance: -0.27±0.13 cm/s), and a decrease in depression severity (-0.15±1.51 points). Furthermore, significant increases were observed in the experimental group's maximal isokinetic strength at 90°/s for both flexion (19.62±7.03 Nm) and extension (19.60±14.65 Nm) over the study period. Conclusion: The findings suggest that isokinetic strength training equipment can significantly enhance physical functions in seniors when incorporated into an exercise regimen.

The objective of this study is to classify the characteristics of green landscapes in suburban cities and identify methods for managing them. The study site is Matsudo city in the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan. All the greenery in Matsudo was categorized into different landscape patterns using spatial analysis and field surveys. Afterwards, assessments of green landscapes were conducted using questionnaire surveys and factor analyses. There are a variety of green landscapes in Matsudo, formed by a number of different reasons such as urban planning, topographical characters and socio-cultural environments. Twenty different green landscape patterns were identified in Matsudo. The survey concluded that green landscape patterns of parks and rivers in Urbanization Control Areas are more attractive than patterns of farmland or forest in residential areas. Three major factors influenced perceptions: legibility, intimacy and the locality on the landscape assessment. Urban farmland and urban forest are two characteristics of suburban cities, and these green landscapes relate to intimacy or localities in a regional image. Finally, based on the results of this study, some implications were discussed for a green master plan and green landscape management.

Objectives : To observe the effect of acupuncture treatment in chronic shoulder pain patients. Methods : 36 voluntary patients were randomly assigned to an acupuncture treatment group(E Group, n=18) and a control group(C Group, n=18). The E Group patients received acupuncture treatment on $LI_{15}$, $TE_{14}$, $GB_{21}$ and Master Dong's acupuncture points, Shin-gwan and Gyun-joong, twice a week for four weeks. The C Group patients received no treatment. All patients in both groups were instructed to practise self exercise in their daily lives. Evaluations were made at baseline and after four weeks of study. The Constant Shoulder Assessment(CSA), Shoulder Pain and Disability Index(SPADI) and the patient's subjective pain was measured by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). The obtained data was analyzed. Results : The E Group showed significant(p<0.05) improvement in CSA, SPADI and VAS after four weeks of treatment. The C Group showed significant(p<0.05) improvement in CSA, but the change of SPADI and VAS was insignificant(p>0.05). CSA and SPADI of E Group significantly(p<0.05) improved compared to the C Group, but the difference of VAS change in the two groups was insignificant(p>0.05). Conclusions : Four weeks of acupuncture treatment significantly improved CSA, SPADI and VAS. The improvement of CSA and SPADI was significant(p<0.05) compared to untreated patients.
This study analyzed the studies and their trends, specifically 124 master's and doctoral theses, as well as research papers on the topic of education on death published from 1990 to 2014. The study's findings are as follows. First, in terms of trends by year, there were only 8papers in the 1990s but this figure saw a dramatic jump from 2005 to 2009 to a total of 50papers(40.3%). The majority of them, 59papers in total, were master's theses(47.6%). Second, in terms of the study field, theological studies took the lead and studies on social welfare accounted for 29papers(28.4%) which was the largest share. Third, in terms of study subjects, senior citizens were used in the majority of papers or 35papers(40.7%) in total. Fourth, in terms of methodology, literature studies accounted for 61papers(49.2%) which was the largest share. Fifth, for mediation programs education on death, the preferred method of study was to have a before-after design using a control group and experiment group. The most common number of total sessions was 5-8sessions with one session per week and each session lasting for about 100-120minutes. Sixth, as for the effect variable of mediation programs for education on death, death anxiety was the most frequently studied variable at 23 papers(31.5%).
The present study relates to the development of a processed product for expansion of use of Tangor which is mostly eaten raw in winter. Furthermore, Tangor jam containing fructo oligosaccharide and isomalto oligosaccharide was prepared, and thus quality characteristics of the jam have been determined according to the sugar concentration by making a low-sugar jam by adding substitute sweeteners instead of sugar, because low-sugar products are recently preferred in the market. Furthermore, the general elements of flesh and rind of Tangor, DPPH free radical scavenging activity, chromaticity, sugar content, pH, acidity, and preference have been checked. As a result of the experiment, the chromaticity, luminosity (L), the sugar content, and pH were the lowest in the control group. In F1, F2, and F3, which gradually added fructo oligosaccharide, and I1, I2, and I3, which slowly added isomalto oligosaccharide, luminosity significantly increased with the addition of oligosaccharide. In contrast, as the amount of addition of oligosaccharide increases, red chromaticity (a), yellow chromaticity (b), and sugar content have significantly decreased. Lastly, in the preference test using a 9 point test scheme, F2 and I2 have been considered most appropriate when producing Tangor jam.
I hereby have gained the following results by investigation and classification according to the contents of Masterial theses of 1015 volumes and Doctorial theses of 288 volumes, which have collected at their central libriaries, of theses which have published, until 1991, at Oriental Medical College of Kyunghee Univ., Kyungsan Univ., Dongguk Univ. and Taejon Univ. 1. The laboratory theses are more plentiful in number than those of literatural or clinical ones, especially more outstanding trends in the case of doctors. 2. In clinical theses, clinical obserbation was high frequnt in master and accupunture in doctor. 3. In laboratory theses, the usage of pharmacy was more frequnt than that of accupuntures or moxibutions. 4. In laboratory theses, it was more plentiful the case of being taken ill before experiment. 5. In experimental method, the drugs were more used complexed or complexed extract, in the case of accupunture, the methods were more adopted by general accup. and aqureaccupunture. 6. In laboritory theses, theses was abundant of no description of normal, control and laboratory groop. 7. It was the great number wi thin a day in the laboratory terms, the rats were most adopted as the objects of lab., in the number of lab method, doctor's was more plentiful than master's. 8. In literatural theses, there was expressed high frequnt trends of study of china, in era, Chosun dynasty in korea and Jin-Han in china. 9. The theory and books were mainly adopted as objects of theses study in the field of literature. 10. In another theses, there was many investigation of contents and drug and sign of illness were main object of study. 11. Laboratory theses had totally more reference and quotation than those of other theses. According to the above results, the number of laboratory theses are superior than clincal and literature theses, other study or statistical theses. But unfortunately they were not enough the transmission of meaning of theses and contribution of learning, beacuse how to do theses was not uni form and description was not evident. So afterward I think it is needed more careful attention and study in the method of theses works.

TCP/IP protocols have been implemented in software program running on CPU in end systems. As the increased demand of fast protocol processing, it is required to implement the protocols in hardware, and Host Interface is responsible for communication between external CPU and the hardware blocks of TCP/IP implementation. The Host Interface follows AMBA AHB specification for the communication with external world. For control flow, the Host Interface behaves as a slave of AMBA AHB. Using internal Command/status Registers, the Host Interface receives commands from CPU and transfers hardware status and header information to CPU. On the other hand, the Host Interface behaves as a master for data flow. Data flow has two directions, Receive Flow and Transmit Flow. In Receive Flow, using internal RxFIFO, the Host Interface reads data from UDP FIFO or TCP buffer and transfers data to external RAM for CPU to read. For Transmit Flow, the Host Interface reads data from external RAM and transfers data to UDP buffer or TCP buffer through internal TxFIFO. TCP/IP hardware blocks generate packets using the data and transmit. Buffer Descriptor is one of the Command/Status Registers, and the information stored in Buffer Descriptor is used for external RAM access. Several testcases are designed to verify TCP/IP functions. The Host Interface is synthesized using the 0.18 micron technology, and it results in 173 K gates including the Command/status Registers and internal FIFOs.
The effects of the initial storage temperature and the PA film packaging on the extension of the shelf-life and the improvement of the postharvest storage quality of muskmelons were studied during their storage. Their storage quality was tested as follows: PA-film-wrapped muskmelons, stored at $2^{\circ}C$ or $7^{\circ}C$ for 30 days after their harvest, were kept at $10^{\circ}C$ for 27 days (total: 57 days). On the fifth day of storage at $10^{\circ}C$ (35th day overall), the weight loss reached 6.4% in the 7-control. However, the 2-PA showed the smallest loss of 2.2%. The soluble solids content and the acidity that were measured before the storage were $10.8^{\circ}Brix$ and 0.26% in all the groups. After 27 days of storage at $10^{\circ}C$ (on the 57th day overall), the values were highest in the 2-PA group with $9.7^{\circ}Brix$ and 0.15%, respectively. Microorganisms were not detected at first; but on the fifth day of storage at $10^{\circ}C$ (35th day overall), their values were 3.87 and 2.68 log CFU/g in the seven-control and the 2-PA, respectively. In other words, the 2-PA was found to be more effective in inhibiting microbial proliferation. In relation to sensory properties such as appearance, flavor, sweetness and chewiness, the 2-PA was superior to the other groups and was found to be most effective in improving the storability of muskmelons. In conclusion, it was found that low-temperature injury and fast storage quality deterioration did not occur in film-wrapped muskmelons that were stored at $2^{\circ}C$ for 30 days after they were harvested.
