러시아 텍스타일 디자인에 관한 연구 -혁명기를 중심으로- (A Study on the Russian Textile Design)

  • This study focuses on the Russian Constructivist Textile Design in the post-revolutionary period, of the early 20th century. Russian textile of the time is highly valued in the west in terms of innovative changes in aesthetic directions, which has become one of the most important centers for the development of new textiles, or the origin of industrial design. Most of brilliant mass-production patterns were produced specially by the pioneers of constructivists such as Stepanova and Popova who were influenced by 'Maxism' through the Revolution regarded themselves as productivists for the proletariat. They were inspired by the avant-garde movements, which were involved with traditionalism, futuristic mechanism, stylization of nature, pure geometrical and abstract form. Early textile design was based on the relationship between the graphic methods of design and the technology because they regarded art as physical, intellectual and technical production. They created all the excitement made from the primary simplest forms of precise mathmatical shapes, such as the circle, the triangle, the rectangle and horizontle and vertical lines. These geometric design can be interpreted as the mechanization of the artists'labor, or methods in line with the technology of mass production, however partly roots in the rich tradition of Russian decorative art. On the other hand, stable crystalline construction on the surface reflect urban architectural complex, and the world of industry in graphic form. They were interested in illusion of movement, cinematic movement of vertical linear rhythms, optical formations and vibrations, by composing a multi-leveled constructions by several spatial planes, or color-field, and combining structures of several intersecting matrices, and superimposing parts of the forms on each other. All these characteristics of the Russian textile designs reflect the complex interactions between 'art and society' of Constructivist's idea and represent the traits of the epoch.

바닥판 구조물의 진동제어를 위한 MR 감쇠기의 적용 (Application of MR Damper for Vibration Control of Floor Slab)

  • 수동동조질량감쇠기의 진동제어 효과는 질량감쇠기와 구조물과의 동조로 인하여 나타나고 있다. 그러나 바닥판 구조물의 질량과 강성의 변화로 인하여 실제 구조물에 있어서 비동조 현상이 일어나기도 한다. 이러한 상황에서는 수동동조질량감쇠기의 성능이 비효율적이며 경우에 따라서는 구조물의 진동을 증가시키기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 기계나 사람에 의한 바닥판 구조물의 진동을 줄이기 위하여 자기유체감쇠기의 적용성을 알아보고자 한다. 준 능동제어와 groundhook 제어 알고리즘을 적용하여 준능동감쇠기의 성능과 수동질량감쇠기의 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 또한 비동조 상황에서의 준능동감쇠가와 수동질량감쇠기의 견인성을 비교 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 자기유체감쇠기는 동조상황에서 우수한 제어 성능을 가지고 있으며 비동조 상황에서도 우수한 견인성을 보여주고 있다.

진동제어를 위한 준능동 TMD의 제어기법 (A Control Method of Semi-active TMD for Vibration Control)

  • 경간이 길어지고 강성이 유연한 바닥판 구조물은 처짐과 진동에 같은 사용성에 있어서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 다양한 진동제어 시스템이 제공되고 있으며 TMD와 같은 수동제어 시스템은 적용에 있어서 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 MR감쇠기와 TMD를 조합한 준능동 TMD의 제어기법에 따른 제어성능을 알아보았다. 준능동 TMD의 감쇠기를 Groundhook 모델로 모형화한 경우에 주구조물인 바닥판 구조물의 진동제어에 있어서 보다 효과적인 것을 볼 수 있으나 TMD의 변위를 제어해야 하는 경우에 준능동 TMD의 감쇠기를 Skyhook 모델로 모형화하여 진동을 제어할 필요가 있다. 그리고 바닥판 구조물과 TMD를 동시에 제어해야하는 경우에는 Hybrid 제어기법이 우수한 제어성능을 보이고 있다.

Z축 선형 영구자석 동기전동기의 초기 자극위치 추정 알고리즘 (Initial Pole Position Estimation Algorithm of a Z-Axis PMLSM)

  • 본 논문에서는 홀센서와 같은 자극위치 센서를 사용하지 않는 Z축 선형 영구자석 동기전동기의 초기 자극위치 추정에 관한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 Z축의 경우에 존재하는 중력에 의한 자체하중의 영향을 고려하고, 부하질량 변동에 따른 추정특성 변화를 회피하기 위한 방법을 제시하며, 2단계로 구성되어 있다. 1단계에서는 미리 정한 각도 간격의 시험 q축에 전류를 인가하여 구한 이동거리를 사용하여 근사적인 q축을 추정한다. 2단계에서는 1단계의 추정치를 초기치로 이용하며, 부하질량의 영향을 받지 않도록 하기 위하여 3개의 시험 q축에 인가한 전류에 따른 추력에 대응하는 값을 이용하여 자극위치를 정밀하게 추정한다. 그리고 Z축 PMLSM에 대한 실험 결과를 통하여 제안된 초기 자극위치 추정방법으로 부하질량 조건에 관계없이 정밀하게 자극위치를 추정함을 검증하였다.

REM 수면 의존성 폐쇄성 수면무호흡증 환자의 임상적 특성과 수면 변인에 관한 연구 (Clinical and Polysomnographic Characteristics of REM Sleep-Dependent Obstructive Sleep Apnea)

  • 배 경:수면은 크게 비렘수면(non-REM sleep)과 렘수면(REM sleep)으로 나눌 수 있으며 렘수면 중에는 근력의 소실로 상기도 확장 근육의 긴장도가 저하되고 상기도 저항은 증가하여 무호흡증이 발생하거나 악화될 수 있다. 폐쇄성 수면무호흡증 자체에 대해서는 이미 많은 부분이 알려져 왔으나 렘수면에만 특이적으로 나타나는 렘수면 의존성 폐쇄성 수면무호흡증(REM-dependent OSA)은 그 중요성이 간과되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 REM-dependent OSA 환자들의 임상 특성과 수면 변인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 방 법:2004년 3월부터 2007년 2월까지 시립은평병원 수면검사실을 방문하여 경도나 중등도의 폐쇄성 수면무호흡증으로 진단받은(5$53.7{\pm}16.7$, 남성:42명)를 대상으로 하였다. REM-dependent OSA(AHIREM/AHINREM${\ge}$2) 환자군과 No REM-dependent OSA(AHIREM/AHINREM<2) 환자군의 임상적 특성과 수면 관련변인을 비교하였다. 통계분석은 Statistica 6.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 유의수준은 p<0.05로 하였다. 결 과:대상군 56명 중 21명(37.5%)가 REM-dependent OSA으로 진단되었다. 두 군사이의 연령, 성별, BMI (Body Mass Index)는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 성별, 연령, BMI, PLMI를 통제한 후, 수면 관련 변인 중 REMdependent OSA 환자군에서 AHI(Apnea Hypopnea Index), ODI(Oxygen Desaturation Index)가 유의하게 낮았다($12.1{\pm}6.4$ vs. $35.9{\pm}24.7$, p=0.010; $6.0{\pm}5.3$ vs. $24.0{\pm}20.4$, p=0.006, respectively, ANCOVA). REMdependent OSA 환자군에서유의하게 높은 2단계 수면이 관찰되었다($58.5{\pm}10.3$ vs. $51.2{\pm}13.2$, p=0.031, ANCOVA). REM-dependent OSA군으로 대상군을 한정하였을 때, 성별, 연령, BMI, PLMI를 통제한 후, 렘수면중 AHI는 전체 수면중 AHI, 비렘수면중 AHI, ODI와 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보였다(r=0.720, p=0.001;r=750, p=0.001;r=0.749, p=0.001, partial correlation, respectively). 결 론 :본 연구에서는 폐쇄성 수면무호흡증 환자 중 37.5%를 REM-dependent OSA 환자로 진단할 수 있었다. REM-dependent OSA 환자는 더 경한 정도의 수면 무호흡증을 보이는 경향이 있었으며, 2단계 수면 분율의 증가 같은 수면구조의 변화와 연관되어 있었다. 또한, 렘수면중의 무호흡은 산소포화도 저하와 연관되어 있었다.

단순인체모델 기반 휴머노이드의 인간형 전신동작 생성 (Human-like Whole Body Motion Generation of Humanoid Based on Simplified Human Model)

  • People have expected a humanoid robot to move as naturally as a human being does. The natural movements of humanoid robot may provide people with safer physical services and communicate with persons through motions more correctly. This work presented a methodology to generate the natural motions for a humanoid robot, which are converted from human motion capture data. The methodology produces not only kinematically mapped motions but dynamically mapped ones. The kinematical mapping reflects the human-likeness in the converted motions, while the dynamical mapping could ensure the movement stability of whole body motions of a humanoid robot. The methodology consists of three processes: (a) Human modeling, (b) Kinematic mapping and (c) Dynamic mapping. The human modeling based on optimization gives the ZMP (Zero Moment Point) and COM (Center of Mass) time trajectories of an actor. Those trajectories are modified for a humanoid robot through the kinematic mapping. In addition to modifying the ZMP and COM trajectories, the lower body (pelvis and legs) motion of the actor is then scaled kinematically and converted to the motion available to the humanoid robot considering dynamical aspects. The KIST humanoid robot, Mahru, imitated a dancing motion to evaluate the methodology, showing the good agreement in the motion.

불균형 신체발달 스쿼시 선수들의 교정 프로그램 개발 연구 (A Developmental Study of an Alignment Program for the Asymmetrically Developed Squash Players)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a body alignment correction program on asymmetrically developed squash players. Method : 30 experienced squash players who showed asymmetric body development, after evaluation of moire topography contour line shape, were involved in the experiment. All of them were right-handed and had more than five years of experience playing squash. Variables of body composition, moire topography and EMG were statistically compared between pre- and post- application of the 12-week body alignment correction program. The program consisted of 10-minute, left-handed forehand and backhand drive movements and 36 minutes performing 12 different yoga postures. Results : First, the body alignment correction program showed significant effects on the total weight, body fat percentage, and body mass index of the participants. Second, a decrease of right side inclined angles and an increase of left side inclined angles might result in a higher left-right symmetry rate and a better left-right balance; however the data was not statistically significant. Third, the EMG left-right deviation of erector spinae and latissimus decreased and the erector spinae muscle was thought to be more essential for vertebral movement and left-right asymmetry correction. Conclusion : A body alignment correction program, including yoga and opposite side exercises, could reduce left-right asymmetry.

Physical Traits Versus the Buck's Reproductive Abilities

  • Highly significant correlation (p < 0.001) was found between body weight and chest circumference of the local Katjang and cross-bred (local Katjang ♀ ${\times}$ German Fawn ♂ bucks under study. Increase in body length, chest circumference, depth of chest and height at withers (p < 0.001) reflected significantly the increase in body weight of the bucks. At the same age the cross-breds were bigger than the indigenous breed. No significant correlation was detected between body weight and scrotal circumference, or the latter with sperm counts in both buck types under study. However, the fluid portion of the semen increased in acidity and volume, the latter being significant (P < 0.01) in the local Katjangs, with increase in scrotal circumference. Although the effects of body condition on buck libido of both groups were not significant, the reaction time taken to mount the teaser females were significantly diminished (p < 0.001) with better body condition, at least in the local Katjangs. The reaction time gad an inverse, though not necessarily significant, relationship with semen characteristics such as volume, pH (in local Katjangs, p < 0.05), concentration, color (in cross-breds, p < 0.05), agglutination and mass movements in both phenotypes.

Effects of Dual Tasks on Balance Ability in Patients with Cerebellar Ataxia

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of dual tasks on balance and postural control during standing in patients with cerebellar ataxia (CA). It was hypothesized that CA patients would exhibit different sway characteristics of the center of mass (COM) depending on the complexity of the secondary cognitive tasks compared with normal control subjects. Methods: A total of 8 patients with CA and age-matched healthy control subjects participated in this study. They were instructed to perform two balance tasks (non-dual and dual movement) with 3 different complexity of dual tasks. Range, variability, and velocity of COMs were measured. Results: According to the results CA patients showed deficits in balance and postural control with increased dual-task complexity during the static balance task in saggital sway movements. However, there was no significant difference in static balance in frontal sway. With higher difficulty in the cognitive task, CA patients took longer to stabilize their body center, while normal control subjects showed no change between conditions. In addition, CA patients had a greater COM resultant velocity during recovery in the dual-task condition compared with the single-task condition. These findings indicate that CA patients had defendable compensatory strategies in performing dual tasks. Conclusion: In conclusion, CA patients appeared to manage the priority to balance and postural control. Particularly in a situation with a postural threat such as when potential consequences of the loss of stability increase, they appeared to prioritize the control of balance and posture over the performance of the secondary task.

20세기 기능주의 패션디자인의 미적 가치와 조형성 (The Aesthetic Values of 20th Century Functionalist Fashion Design)

  • The research has the aim of defining the special characteristics of the functionalist fashion design in the 20th century by understanding the essence of functionalism in the sociocultural contexts and studying functionalism in fashion design and architectural and product design by the comparative. Giving careful consideration to functionalist fashion design in the 20th century makes it possible to foresee the way of fashion design to meet the needs of the moderns and men of the future world. To obtain the purposes, documentary study and comparative study have been executed. Main results are as follows. Functionalism stressed in the beginning of the 20th century can be defined and categorized using three analogies, mechanical analogy of futuristic quality based on mechanical aesthetics and standardization by mass production, organic analogy in which the perfect beauty of nature is stressed on, moral analogy of fitness for purpose and absence of ornament based on integrity and sincerity. In while, functionalism in 1990s has been developed in different ways from those analogies. In comparative studies, functionalist fashion design and architectural and product design have the dissimilarity as well as the similarity of formative features. Since fashion design has much closer relation to human body and movements. it has been expressed considering a division of men and women and the places and times for the designs more than other designs.
