A Survey on the Physical Training School Uniform of Female High School Students (여자고등학생의 학교체육복 착용실태 조사)

  • School uniform has improved greatly in terms of fit, size, function, and design due to steep competition in the market and the strong interest of researcher, while little effort has been made for physical training uniform, so the objective of this study is to provide basic research data of the training uniform for the improvement of its design and fitness. For this purpose, 327 high school girls provided information on size and design of their uniform, level of satisfaction, the recognized ease in uniform. Most students wore the physical training uniform in another classes and the long sleeved shirt were the most popular one. They often used the uniform for the protection from cold and for comfortable activeness. For a long sleeved shirt, most students preferred raglan sleeve, zip-up collar, straight waist line, and ribbed sleeve cuffs and hem. For long pants, students preferred elastic waist band and ribbed pants cuffs. Currently, the short-sleeved shirt mostly had a shirts collar, ribbed hem, straight waist line with raglan sleeve, but students wanted a round neck and set-in sleeve. For overall level of satisfaction, students showed high satisfaction in terms of function and psychological effect, while aesthetic quality of the uniform was needed to be much improved. Most students evaluated that the circumference of uniforms properly fit or had a little ease, and students considered waist size the most suitable. The long pants length evaluated properly fit or a little long. Students accepted that the ease of summer uniform was more suitable than winter uniform's both at circumference and at length. Depending on students' height distribution, the length of long pants and short pants varied significantly.

An Analysis for Transferring Connectivity at Incheon international Airport (허브공항의 환승연계성 분석연구(인천국제공항을 대상으로))

  • Recently. large number of countires have been focused on the construction of container seaport and hub airport to enrole as the center of logistics. In particular, the East Asian nations have been enhanced their airports' facilities in order to accommodate for demand of global market environment. In Korea, Incheon International Airport (ICN) was opened in 2001 to take leading role as the Northeast Asian main hub airport. The purpose of this research is to analyze the transferring connectivity at ICN. To analyze its connectivity, this research has been applies two methodologies ; wane structure and minimum or maximun connection time analysis It has analyzed the temporal configuration as the frequency and quality of indirect connections offered by an airline by adopting a wave-system structure in the airline flight schedule. As an empirical analysis, it also calculated the minimum and maximum connection time adopting Korean Air's flight information.

  • The CRM(Customer Relationship Management) is a business strategy model which can reap higher profits and can provide a competitive edge to an enterprise in today's new business environments. Early next year (2009), the Capital Market Consolidation Act will be in effect in South Korea. This is required for a qualitative growth to provide QoS (Quality of Service) and ensure growth in finance, IT industry & service. Accordingly, the securities and insurance companies, banks and other financial institutions make efforts to improve their derivative financial product and also enhance their services. In this paper we design and implement a Channel Server model for a Scalable Service Channel Server to efficiently manage the high volumes of inbound customer interactions based on the requirements of a CRM center. The proposed Scalable Service Channel Server supports integration with other third party service and standardization of multiple inbound service channels. The proposed model can be efficiently used in an inbound CRM center of any banking, finance, securities and insurance establishments.

Finding Critical Success Factors for Spatial Data Industry by Comparing Strategies of Digital Earth Enterprises (디지털어스 기업들의 전략 비교를 통한 공간정보산업 핵심성공요인의 발견)

  • Spatial information has influenced government policy formation, business strategy implementation, and our everyday life enormously. Digital earth enterprises providing global spatial data services emerge as spatial data industry grows rapidly. So it is highly desirable to grasp recent trends in the industry and find critical success factors (CSFs) for the digital earth firms. The purpose of this study is to compare strategies of digital earth enterprises and find CSFs for them. In addition, strategy analysis framework elaborations, systematic analysis of spatial data industry and market segmentation based on value chain are also performed to trace and cope with the volatile industry environment. Derived CSFs are as follows. First, acquisition of differentiated high quality spatial data is needed. Second, customer oriented convergent contents should be developed. Third, advanced platform functionalities must be provided to consumers. Finally, construction of efficient and effective global value chain is desirable.

  • With greater utilization of web application and growth of its market, the function of such application is being expanded With today's increasing demand for high quality software, we see a sharp rise in the interest for web application test. The current trend is that web applications are being developed based on a framework of developmental environment. Hence, as the scope of that framework expands, each module of the entire web application is being configured by the combination of heterogeneous files. The distinctive characteristics of a web application are based on the fact that the framework that is provided in partially completed form controls the structure of all objects of development. The present study defines the web business logic as a minimal unit which has meaning as a unit of application for the web application. In this paper, we define web business logic as a least meaningful execution unit of web applications, propose how to generate automatically the BizUnit test code for it, and analyze the effectiveness of testing of the web application via the BizUnit test codes.

  • This paper is an attempt to discuss theoretical and empirical issues embedded in a rapidly dispersing well-being lifestyle in Korea. Increase of people's interests in health and well-being reflects the fact that Korea has been developed socially and economically to the level for common people to pursue the quality of life beyond survival or basic standards of life. The term, well-being life style, was first constructed and has been dispersed through mass media. Media contributes to popularize health issues and to deliver the importance of lifestyle for health promotion to the general public. Well-being lifestyle, initiated by media and joined with commercialism, however, reveal certain negative sides as well. Health or healthy lifestyle in Western societies has been rooted theoretically in the change of health paradigm and the political emphasis on the lifestyle for health promotion in policy implications. Well-being lifestyle in Korea, in lack of theoretical and institutional foundations, is being substantially formed into distorted consumerism. Based on the sociological theories of stratification, it might be necessary to discuss the well-being consumerism in respect of tension among people with different consuming power and the destruction of solid market principles. Considering well-being consumerism as a risk factor to societal well-being, it is also necessary to examine conflicting or misleading information about well-being and to explore the scientific knowledge and principles. All these discussions and examination need to be done with interdisciplinary efforts. Especially, tasks for developing application principles for everyday life are on hands of researchers in living sciences.

A study on the Purchasing and Wearing Conditions of Accessary in University Students (대학생의 액세서리 구매 및 착용실태에 관한 연구)

  • The study will furnish university students-oriented accessary market with preliminary data by virtue of university students' wearing accessary conditions. It conducted by 151 university students in Jeon-Nam and Jeon-Buk during october through november, 2014. The questionnaire is composed of 17 questions and used 151 out of 152 copies as the final data, except for one insufficient reply. The analysis method carried out a technological statistics such as frequency count, percentage, average and t-test for every questions, used by SPSS 20.0. The investigation result is as follows; The overall numbers of answerers were 151 people, 36 male and 115 female, and showed that they purchase accessaries of less than 20,000won in a jewelry shop. According to the 86.1% of university students' answers, the most well known brand is OST and then Metrocity(76.2%), Swarovski(68.9%) came after. The most visit count is to a jewelry shop, once or twice in a month, on-line shopping malls and department stores came after. Rings and bracelets are purchased once or twice in a month, and earrings are mainly put on. When purchasing accessaries, quality and scarcity design are the most significant conditions, getting the information through internet and fashion magazines. The ground of purchasing accessaries is for self-contentment and for coordinating with their fashion, and also the difficult maintenance as well as untangled wool are defined as uneasiness of using accessaries. Furthermore, the original goods are preferred for rings and necklaces, unlike earrings and bracelets.

Suitability Assessment of Rural Public Spaces and Facilities - A Case Study of Okgwa-myeon(Myeon Unit, Region Unit, Village Unit), Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do - (농촌마을 공공공간 및 시설의 입지적합성 평가를 위한 사례연구 - 전남 곡성군 옥과면 일대(거점면단위, 권역단위, 마을단위) 대상으로-)

  • With the rapid change of rural communities and increasing desire for social welfare, the demand for the quality of public spaces and facilities is increasing. However, inefficient location of rural public space and facility has caused problems such as economic inefficiency, inconvenient accessibility, environmental pollution, unsustainable energy use, and disturbance of visual landscape. This study aims to evaluate suitability of public spaces and facilities in three types of rural village: rural downtown village, rural clustered village, and individual village. As a way to measure the suitability of public spaces and facilities, we assessed indicators of suitability in terms of accessibility, usability, biophysical environment, and sustainable management. To evaluate the accessibility, we applied indicators such as distance from residential areas, public transit, market and public facilities. For the evaluation of biophysical environment, we applied indicators such as slope, elevation, aspect, and occurrence of natural disasters. We analyzed digital maps representing the indicators listed above using GIS. We also conducted a survey and face-to-face interviews to evaluate usability and sustainability of management which are not possible to understand through maps. As a result, we identified that suitability of public spaces and facilities in downtown villages is higher than clustered and individual villages. In particular, suitability of infrastructure facilities, social welfare facilities, and income generation facilities in downtown village are higher than those in clustered and individual villages. The suitability of tourism facilities is generally lower than other types of public facility across the three types of villages. Tourism facilities in clustered village have been identified especially unsuitable compared to other types of villages. We expect the outcome of the research is helpful to improve allocation of public spaces and facilities in rural villages.

Implementation of System for Next Generation Hotel Multimedia Services (차세대 호텔 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 시스템 구현)

  • These days, it is essential that a business-class hotel provide customers with Internet service. So the most hotels have been installing facilities actively for Internet service. Businessmen also want to use Internet service level to their own office or home in hotel room. But now TV and VoD(partial) based-on CATV in hotel is supplied, and the additional network are installed for Internet service. The existing TV also must be replaced to HDTV within 2 or 3 years. The objective of this paper is to implement the next generation hotel multimedia service system using xDSL technology, VLAN mapping technology, and QoS technology. This system can provide each room in hotel with high-quality video service and Internet service simultaneously, and can also supply Internet access service using wireless LAN for the Places, such as lobby, conference room, and coffee shop in hotel. Therefore, this system can create the new market in hotel multimedia service field by connecting xDSL technology to VLAN mapping technology for charging and QoS technology for video stream transmission.

Development of Single Channel ECG Signal Based Biometrics System (단채널 심전도 기반 바이오인식 시스템 개발)

  • In general, currently developed ECG(electrocardiogram) based biometrics approaches are not suitable for real market applications since they require high cost ECG monitoring device and their measurement methods showed poor usability. In this paper, we developed lead I signal based biometrics system using special purpose ECG measurement hardware. To guarantee signal quality for biometrics from various signal measurement environment in our ordinary life, several filters are applied. In addition, to enhance usability, only two skin on electrodes without reference point are used for measurement. Lead I signals of seventeen candidates are measured from developed hardware and features are extracted. Extracted features are applied to support vector machine (SVM) pattern classifier for biometrics, and the experimental results showed 98.59% of sensitivity (SN) and 97.21% of accuracy (ACC). Compare to conventional ECG biometrics approaches, proposed system showed enhanced usability with low-cost measurement hardware.
