EPS (expanded polystyrene) is one of the most used building materials for insulation that is favored by its excellent heat insulation, economical efficiency and lightweight characteristics. However, EPS is vulnerable to the fire and producing large amount of toxic gases in case of fire. Therefore, ultra-lightweight geopolymer which can replace EPS is fabricated by using IGCC (integrated gasification combined cycle) fused slag and Si sludge as raw materials and the possibility of replacement on ultra-lightweight geopolymer for EPS as an insulation building material was evaluated in this study. Ultra-lightweight geopolymer can be fabricated with the pulverized IGCC fused slag having low carbon content and density, compressive strength, thermal conductivity were $0.064g/cm^3$, 0.04 MPa, and 0.072 W/mK, respectively. The thermal conductivity of ultra-lightweight geopolymer is 1.5~2.0 times higher than that of EPS suggested in the KS M 3808; however, the thermal conductivity value of geopolymer is meaningful and competitive to that of EPS in the market. Therefore, ultralightweight geopolymer can be applicable to the building material for thermal insulation purpose and have an enough possibility to replace EPS in the future because it is not only much safer than EPS in case of fire but also it can be fabricate by using waste materials from the industry.

Inventory management is one of the important business functions for manufacturing companies to determine market responsiveness. Customers' needs are diversifying, and the life cycle of products is decreasing, thus increasing the importance of inventory management. However, for small-scale manufacturing companies, investing in an IT system for inventory management is practically difficult. In this study, we introduce an inventory and warehouse management model that can be applied simply and quickly in small-scale manufacturing companies. Firstly, we introduce the concept of the properties of inventory and provide an analytical methodology based on the age and quantity of the inventory. Secondly, in accordance with the properties of the inventory, we introduce location management rules for warehouse operation. To apply the proposed model, we studied a wallpaper manufacturing company and verified the applicability of the proposed methods in the field. The proposed model can be applied immediately as part of on-site improvement activities by small-scale manufacturing companies, and inventory management activities are expected to reduce bad long-term inventory and further secure storage capacity for warehouses.
The energy density of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) determines the mileage of electric vehicles. For increasing the energy density of LIBs, it is necessary to develop high-capacity active materials that can store more lithium ions within constrained weight. The rapid progress made in cathode technology has realized the utilization of the near-theoretical capacity of cathode materials. In contrast, commercial LIBs have still exploited graphite as active material in anodes since the 1990s. The most promising way to increase anodes' capacity is to mix high-capacity and long-cycle-life silicon oxides (SiOx) with graphite. However, the low initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE) of SiOx limits its content below 15 wt%, impeding the capacity increase in anodes. To address this issue, various prelithiation techniques have been proposed, which can improve the ICE of high-capacity anode materials. In this review paper, we introduce the principles and expected effects of prelithiation techniques reported so far. According to the reaction mechanisms, the strategies are categorized. Mainly, we focus on the recent progress of solution-based chemical prelithiation methods with commercial viability, of which lithiation reaction occurs homogeneously at liquid-solid interfaces. We believe that developing a cost-effective and mass-scalable prelithiation process holds the key to dominating the anode market for next-generation LIBs.
More than a year has already passed since the Gyeongbuk Hemp Regulation Free Zone Project was implemented, and it is time to supplement and review the deficiencies in production history management for the domestic hemp industry after the Free Regulatory Zone. In this study, the current status and characteristics of cannabis history management in the Gyeongbuk Hemp Regulation Free Zone project were investigated, and problems with current history management were derived using service design tools such as pilot interviews, shadowing, and Customer journey map. The case of the cannabis production system and the CTS recommended for the legal cannabis market in Oregon, a leading country, was compared and analyzed, and the direction was to secure safety through production cycle history management suitable for growth characteristics, efficient technology application for real-time management, and history information sharing. Through this study, it is expected that it will help improve the current hemp production history management system and properly settle the history management system of domestic hemp industrialization in the future.
As the use of lithium-ion secondary batteries is rapidly increasing due to the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market, the disposal and recycling of spent batteries after use has been raised as a serious problem. Since stored energy must be removed in order to recycle the spent batteries, an effective discharging process is required. In this study, graphite and NCM622 were used as active materials to manufacture coin-type half cells and full cells, and the electrochemical behavior occurring during overdischarge was analyzed. When the positive and negative electrodes are overdischarged respectively using a half-cell, a conversion reaction in which transition metal oxide is reduced to metal occurs first in the positive electrode, and a side reaction in which Cu, the current collector, is corroded following decomposition of the SEI film occurs in the negative electrode. In addition, a side reaction during overdischarge is difficult to occur because a large polarization at the initial stage is required. When the full cell is overdischarged, the cell reaches 0 V and the overdischarge ends with almost no side reaction due to this large polarization. However, if the full cell whose capacity is degraded due to the cycle is overdischarged, corrosion of the Cu current collector occurs in the negative electrode. Therefore, cycled cell requires an appropriate treatment process because its electrochemical behavior during overdischarge is different from that of a fresh cell.
The outlook for Korea's consumer price inflation rate has a profound impact not only on the Bank of Korea's operation of the inflation target system but also on the overall economy, including the bond market and private consumption and investment. This study presents the prediction results of consumer price inflation in Korea for the next three years. To this end, first, model selection is performed based on the out-of-sample predictive power of autoregressive distributed lag (ADL) models, AR models, small-scale vector autoregressive (VAR) models, and large-scale VAR models. Since there are many potential predictors of inflation, a Bayesian variable selection technique was introduced for 12 macro variables, and a precise tuning process was performed to improve predictive power. In the case of the VAR model, the Minnesota prior distribution was applied to solve the dimensional curse problem. Looking at the results of long-term and short-term out-of-sample predictions for the last five years, the ADL model was generally superior to other competing models in both point and distribution prediction. As a result of forecasting through the combination of predictions from the above models, the inflation rate is expected to maintain the current level of around 2% until the second half of 2022, and is expected to drop to around 1% from the first half of 2023.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of experience of entrepreneuship education and social awareness of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurship, focusing on women who were relatively alienated from entrepreneurial activities. This study will provide suggestions for women's entrepreneurship in the future. Conclusions - Although women's economic activity is increasing, women's activities in the field of business start-up are still passive. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of entrepreneurship on entrepreneuship education and the social perception of entrepreneurship. As a result, we found that social awareness, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurship all had a significant influence on the intention of entrepreneurship. Positive social atmosphere for entrepreneurship induces interest in entrepreneurship education and forms a virtuous cycle structure that fosters entrepreneurship through entrepreneuship education. In addition, the introduction of diverse programs that encourage entrepreneurship should enhance the attractiveness of promising talent to enter the entrepreneurial market.

Satellite-derived data is collected by observing the Earth and is used in various fields such as national defense, natural disasters, location-based services, infrastructure, environment, energy, marine, and insurance. This study aims to present the virtuous cycle structure of the satellite information data industry and the business ecosystem model of the industry. As a research method, cases were collected and categorized from the following areas: literature, online, application, and content. The results show that the ecosystem model of the satellite information data industry provides an approach to content services in public and commercial areas, and develops various algorithmic technologies to facilitate content production and services at the level of complex general-purpose technologies. Second, in terms of content typology, satellite information data can be subdivided into monitoring content, urban space monitoring content, and satellite information content. Third, the consumption value of satellite content could be subdivided into informational value, environmental, social and governance (ESG) value, educational value, and content value. In order to expand the global content market, Korea will need to focus on creating an ecosystem for the satellite information industry and discovering differentiated content. It will also need to increase the popularization and accessibility of data to the general public and promote the Korean K-Satellite Information Data Industry ecosystem through government support, policy efforts, and policies such as establishing legal systems, increasing investment, and training human resources.
The core of this study is to review South Korea's individual-driven training scheme, identify factors hindering elderly participation, and derive implications to support their retention and participation of the elderly in the labor market. This study focuses on population aging, examining the National Lifelong Learning Card system and the current employment insurance scheme, both initiatives of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, to assess the status and issues surrounding elderly participation in vocational training. Based on this analysis, the study seeks to derive policy measures and academic significance to promote elderly participation in vocational training. The findings emphasized the importance of employment retention for elderly and highlighted the need for vocational training tailored to the specific characteristics of each individual, along with the necessity for professional life-career consulting. Based on these findings, the study proposed recommendations to promote self-directed training among elderly, including enhancing the diversity of vocational training to meet individuals' varied needs, implementing lifelong vocational training programs from a life-cycle perspective, creating age-friendly workplaces at the national level, encouraging individual-driven training participation for the self-realization of elderly, and strengthening the linkage between employment counseling and vocational training for elderly.

In the electromagnetic wave shielding material market, superior shielding performance in the high-frequency range, along with flexibility and durability, has emerged as critical requirements. The need for high-performance EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) films to address electromagnetic wave interference issues is growing, particularly in various industrial sectors such as smart electronic devices, automotive electronic systems, and communication equipment. In this study, a trimodal silver paste was developed and fabricated into an EMI film, with its performance evaluated. The developed silver paste, utilizing a modified epoxy binder, exhibited properties suitable for screen printing processes. The film demonstrated excellent shielding performance, with an average attenuation of -99 dB in the high-frequency range of the 5G spectrum (26.5 GHz to 40 GHz), and a shielding effectiveness of -90.3 dB at 33.6 GHz. Flexibility and durability tests showed that the film maintained its flexibility even at a curvature radius of 1 mm. In the bending cycle test, the resistance increased by approximately 25.5% from 0.51 Ω to 0.64 Ω after 10,000 cycles in the outer bending scenario, while in the inner bending scenario, the resistance decreased by about 3.6%, indicating reduced resistance to compressive stress.
