A Study on Slide Way Deformation from High Frequency Heat Treatment by Finite Element Method (유한요소법을 이용한 고주파 열처리시 안내면 변형에 관한 연구)

  • Finite element program(ANSYS) estimated thermal deformation quantity in high frequency heat treatment process of a machine tool fred drive system slideway and apply deformation quantity in roughing process. Having processed the heat treatment minimizing methods of the quantity of deformation heat treatment process. Having done heat treatment with high frequency after taper processing with considering the existed heat treatment generating the quantity of deformation, existed quantity of deformation can be reduced down to 80%, consequently productivity and material saving can be achieved. When high frequency heat treatment finite element method estimated deformation quantity at difference temperature and time, it is progress at cost don and saved time.

  • This paper deal with basic concept of Hardware In the Loop System(HILS) for hydraulic excavator. Hydraulic excavator has many nonlinearities because of P-Q diagram, dead zone and saturation of valve, single acting cylinder, heavy manipulator. So, actual test is needed when new component or control algorithm is developed but many restrictions exist. Hydraulic circuit of excavator is too complex to model mathematically but dynamic equation of manipulator has made good progress in previous studies. Basic concept of HILS and AMESim model of hydraulic components is contained in this paper.

A Study on Investment of Korean Enterprises in China (한국기업의 중국투자 실태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the Chinese investment environment and analyze the actual investment condition of Korean enterprises in China and examine the points at issue. In general, the investment environment in China shows satisfactory progress. China has a multiple and regional extension policy in investment. And the environment for investment changes to insufficiency of company profit, extension of service market, maintenance of legislative system, and insufficiency of preference about foreign company. There are situations of inclining to manufacturing, inclining of region, preference of independence investment, small-sized investment by small and medium enterprises, difficulty of financial assistance, excess of logistic cost, delay of logistic term, difficulty of settlement of legal dispute and difficulty of taking a relative information in investment of Korean enterprise in China. The results of the study indicate mostly that the investment of Korean enterprise into China needs turnover of service trade-tertiary industry, portfolio of investment territory, cooperation with Chinese enterprise through joint venture investment and a large-scale investment for extension of Chinese domestic market.

  • RFID is an essential and inevitable technologies in logistics and manufacturing ones. The progress of RFID technology is still very slow owing to the cost of RFID and peripheral technologies however, some foreign countries such as US and Japan have already adopted RFID into real life for example, transportation and logistics and established its technologies as a commercial ones. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to prove that RFID technology can improve productivity and to take an example of a company adopted RFID technology had improved 50% or more increase in productivity. By demonstrating that, the necessity and effectiveness of RFID has proven. There are still many things to be solved like the development of RFID attaching machine. The machine was also suggested in this study.

The Effect of TRIPS on the Relationship between R&D Expenditures and Patent Applications (특허권보호제도의 변화가 연구개발지출과 특허권 산출의 관계에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we examine the effect of TRIPS on the relationship between R&D expenditures and patent applications in manufacturing firms. The first set of tests examines the association between patent applications and R&D expenditures and firm specific factors such as firm size and capital intensity. The next set of tests adds environmental factors including R&D intensity of the industry and development of TRIPS. We divide the sample period into three subperiods according to the progress of TRIPS subperiod 1(1984-1988) before TRIPS, subperiod 2(1989-1994) after negotiation of TRIPS and subperiod 3(1995-2000) after agreement on TRIPS. Regression model reveals that the coefficient on firm size is significantly positive over the all sample Period, while that of R&D expenditures of R&D intensive firms is significantly positive in subperiod 2 and 3(1989-2000) and that of capital intensity is significantly negative only in subperiod 3(1995-2000). The findings suggest that the efficient intellectual property system promotes the patent application of R&D intensive firms.

  • Recently industry of motor vehicle is making a gradual progress of automotive electric components. According to this step, wire harness equipped at motor vehicle is also increased. The most important component at the wire harness is electric connector. At the manufacturing process of electric connector, exactly at the crimping process, design variables, such as clamping-height, clamping-width and clamping die shape are critical parameters to assure satisfactory harness shape in clamping process of electric connector. In this study we have performed FEM simulation for clamping process and clarified the effect of design variables on compression rate of wire.

  • To achieve the global planarization, CMP Technology has been used to the next generation semiconductor process, and the study made tremendous progress up to date. As the device demension shrinked, CMP Technology has been applied in a various way and more people interested in this field to simplify the process. To attain the goal for safer 0.13um or below 10 nano process, many of those expected task must be solved. By describing this current CMP process issue and future trend for the CMP planarization process, It personally hope that this paper would help to the people who has concerns for the next generation semiconductor manufacturing industry in common.

  • The purpose of this paper is to increase the effectiveness of decreasing time - load and cost down in manufacturing company using the new way of regulating standard time - load. Let us take an example of K automobile factory. This company have avoided the used to way of regulating standard ti me load in staff members and increased the effectiveness of decreasing time - load having participated all members centering around the Q.C circle. Here, We can take conclusions as below. 1. We could improve the consciousness of question and the consciousness of efficiency progress as a result of new way. 2.   • We developed the composite long rod insulator for railway, and the developed insulators were applied to commercial lines, KNR through a series of preparations such as establishment of specification, diverse tests and evaluation of reliability, and improvement of manufacturing system, etc. This paper presents some considerations for mass Production of the composite insulators in view of steady quality especially. 1 believe that our tries, though it is incomplete in view of low cost, is effective in good performance of the insulators in service and these in-service experience is enough to be a basis of more progress in field of insulation technique.

  • This Study is concerned workability and the physical properties for practical use of waste concrete powder originated from the manufacturing progress of waste concrete aggregate and it apply to concrete tile. Also because it is important that concrete tile has to ensure the surface moisture stability, for solving the problems aplied curing method is air-dried and autoclave curing. As the result, the physical properties, such as fluent properties, compressive strength, surface hardness and surface glossiness, were decreased with increase of replacement ratio of waste concrete powder, also surface stability was weaked about moisture. But by autoclave curing, it is possible that compressive strength and surface hardness increased, and surface moisture stability is ensured.
