An Analysis of the Course Fulfillment Change in Fisheries Business Administration Curriculum with Business Education Accreditation (경영교육인증에 따른 수산경영학 교과과정 및 학업이수의 변화 분석과 과제)

  • Recently the rapid changes of the social environment make both university and every each department should have to renovate and adjust all of the educational components. The most dominant and issuable change of business administration education is the Business Education Accreditation which was certified by the KABEA(Korean Association of Business Education Accreditation). And the only two department of fisheries business administration which in Gyeongsang National University and Pukyong National University has been accredited recently. Though The department of fisheries business administration in Korea has been influenced by that Accreditation, there is few research and analysis on educational change. So it is very important that research on the curricular constitution and change of the curriculum for considering the its own effect and influence. This paper aims to explore the curricular constitution, change and course fulfillment of fisheries business administration after the business education accreditation based on the case of the department of fisheries business administration in Gyeongsang National University. The analysis of fisheries business administration change will help develop sustainable curriculum and give more guideline for identifying the core of fisheries business administration. The method of analysing that in this research has adopt the social network analysis(SNA) and automated software tool which is the most dominant technique in contents analysis including the Krkwics and Pajek. The SNA is evaluated that most popular, rigorous and firm methodology for analyzing, examining and revising some concepts or objects in the context of semantics. The result of this study shows that the ratio of fisheries business administration class has been decreased but still the most fulfilled course. And English mediated class has been avoided though that sort of the class has been increased. In the view point of course fulfillment, it has been potential and inefficient problems that some classes that including financial related and accounting related class would not been accomplished appropriately. The findings of a graduate depth interview which has been done about 4 years for understanding that student show that there's some recognition gap of fisheries business administration in staffs of human resource management. And the level of job satisfaction in fisheries business still somewhat low and even worse the chance of recruitment also unsteady.

A Study on the Political Campaign Strategy applying the effect of Media Engagement (미디어 인게이지먼트의 효과를 활용한 정치캠페인의 전략 연구)

  • This study is the first model to apply the concept of media engagement to a political campaign by which the voters' mind toward the supporting political candidates, are read. Thus it provides the theoretical and practical implications to the political campaign, and eventually contributes to the development of democracy. For these objectives, the total of 729 people who have the right to vote were telephone surveyed using the peoplemeter, CATI program in the 18th Presidential Election (12 areas including Seoul) of Dec. 19th 2012, and Re and By-election of April 24th 2013. Research question is to examine how the 5 attributes of the media engagement (interest, immersion, relevance, satisfaction and participation), play a role as the moderating variables in cross-correlation, socio-economic status and media properties. The result shows that of the five properties of media engagement, the relevant factor is the important parameter of mediating variable to the causal relationship. The media usage (TV, SNS, print media), socio-economic status (gender, age, income, marriage and area), involvement and the Presidential Election, and Re and By-election are also effective in the five attributes of media engagement. These results suggest that the a study model can measure the campaign effectiveness. This study will contribute significantly to the development of politics, election, media, advertising, and public relations area as well as to promote interdisciplinary research.

Analysis of Convergent Influence of Job Seeking Stress, Hopelessness and Depression on Childbirth Perception among Some College Women (일부 여대생의 취업스트레스, 무망감 및 우울이 출산인식에 미치는 융복합적 영향 분석)

  • This study investigates convergent influence on childbirth perception and its association with job seeking stress, depression and hopelessness among some college women. The survey was administered to 531 college women in Jeonbuk area from March 28th to April 29th, 2016. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The childbirth perception of respondents according to general characteristics turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: that of old age, that of religion, that of school life satisfaction, that of non drinker. The childbirth perception are significantly higher in higher job seeking stress group, moderate & severe hopeless group and moderate & major depression group. The childbirth perception was positively correlated with job seeking stress, hopelessness and depression. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm relationship among the four factors such as job seeking stress, hopelessness, depression and childbirth perception. Job seeking stress was more influential on the childbirth perception than hopelessness and depression. The results are expected to be useful for health education to increase the positive thinking of childbirth perception of the college women. In the following study, the analysis about additional factors of convergent influence on childbirth perception will be needed.

  • Recent market environment shows a new relationship between customer and company, which you could not observe in the past. Customers now are used to various benefits through the participation of marketing process. It is no wonder that customers visit company web site, gather a lot of information about the product on the website, and express their satisfaction and opinions about the product. Furthermore, these activities are being made ubiquitously. Despite the fact there are a lot of customer participation in the Internet environment, Customers Participation has been given little attention in the academic literature. This study explores the effect of the properties of Internet infra on customers participation. The implications of this study are as follows. First, by reviewing the literature on the performance and process of customers participation in the marketing activities, this study identifies why customers did not participate in the marketing activities under non-Internet environment. Second, this study identifies the properties of Internet infra influencing customers informative participation. Third, we suggest some managerial strategies for enhancing the performance of a company by customer participation. Consequently, we suggest managerial implications for completely different marketing strategies in response to customers participation in the marketing activities under the digital environment.

Daily Hassles, Self-Efficacy, and Stress Responses of Adult Learners of Distance Education in Digital Convergence Era -Based on RN-BSN Students (디지털 융복합시대 원격대학 성인학습자의 일상생활스트레스, 자기효능감 및 스트레스반응 -간호학사 특별편입과정 학생을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among daily hassles, self-efficacy, and stress responses of RN-BSN (Registered Nurses-Bachelor of Science in Nursing) students in juggling both their jobs and learning as an adult learner of distance education in digital convergence era. The data were collected by a questionnaire from 229 nurses in a RN-BSN course of an open university from October to November, 2013. The mean score of facing task dimension was much higher than the interpersonal dimension score among daily hassles. The academic problem of the facing task and the family relationship of the interpersonal were the highest respectively. The mean score of self-efficacy was slightly higher than the median. Multiple regression showed that perceived health status, workload, occupation satisfaction, and values problem of daily hassles explained 44.2% of stress reponses and values problem was the main factor influencing stress responses. The distance education policies and strategies were required to manage their stress for the adult learners of distance education in digital convergence era.

The Effects of Mental Health on Obesity among Korean Adolescents (한국 청소년의 정신건강이 비만에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to determine the effects of mental health on obesity among Korean adolescents. The data in this study were obtained from the 2013 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior Web-based Survey conducted in 70,354 adolescents aged twelve to eighteen (35,575 males and 34,779 females) from June 1 to 30, 2013. The variables included age, the economic status of household, academic achievement, health status, perceived happiness, perceived stress, satisfaction of sleeping, perceived depression, and suicidal ideation and the data were processed using t-test, chi square test, and logistic regression analysis. The general characteristics affecting obesity for both Korean male and female adolescents included age (p<0.001), the economic status of households (p<0.001), academic achievement (p<0.001), and health status (p<0.001); the variable of mental health affecting obesity was suicidal ideation among females (p<0.05). It is expected that female adolescents' experience of suicidal ideation can be used as information to predict the likelihood of obesity in managing an obesity program for adolescents and it is necessary to provide obesity education suitable for age and to include obesity guidance in consideration of gender and the economic status.

  • Social commerce is a new internet business model which are types of joint purchase, social link, promotion, and on-off association etc. The recent public organization has the dual target to increase sound finance, and to improve customer satisfaction and the quality of public service. The purpose of this study is to propose the strategy of public social commerce which makes it's customers become positive purchasers. We analyzed 31 public organizations, and found that the type of social link interlocking with SNS site in the various purpose of public, and the offline association type using the service of location base would be utilized very highly. We also found that the joint purchase type and the promotion type would be used in the area of public and private selective services intending to make a profit. The anticipated performance are as follows: rapidity and reliance, customer made thing and goodwill, convenience for the service environment quality, publicity and diffusion, and sales promotion, productivity increase and new finding of revenue model for the profit increase outcome.

  • Human beings were constantly developing and using tools. This implies the history of humans have been creatively maintained and developed. Humans put its utmost efforts to the development of civilization to lead better life at the same time constantly pursuit to the cultural development such as formative characteristics for the satisfaction of aesthetic needs. The Happiness Index by the Number of Teeth of Senior Citizens Residing in Dong-gu in Daejeon (대전 동구에 거주하는 노인들의 치아 수에 따른 행복지수)

  • This paper aims to identify the relationship between the number of teeth of the elderly and their life happiness index. A face-to-face interview survey was conducted with elderly residents of Dong-gu, Daejeon from June 27 to July 25, 2012. A Tukey post hoc test and correlation analysis were implemented after a t-test and variance analysis. The results of analysis showed that satisfaction with life related to oral health was significant, but happiness in daily life had no significant difference. For the elderly, the quality of life related to oral health and happiness in daily life had no significant difference. Masticatory performance difference depending on usage of dentures also showed significant difference (p<0.001). The difference of masticatory performance depending on the number of teeth was analyzed by a correlation analysis. The present number of teeth, present anterior teeth and molars demonstrated a correlation. Quality in life related to oral health depending on the number of teeth correlated with the present number of teeth, present anterior teeth and present molars.

A Study of nurses' working stress, child-rearing stress and parenting attitude (간호사의 업무스트레스와 양육스트레스 및 양육태도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe working stress, child-rearing stress and parenting attitude of nurses who have preschool children. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaires from 136 nurses in three university hospital in 2011, and analyzed by the SPSS 12.0 program. Results: Nurses scored 3.48 points on average in working stress, 2.47 points in child-rearing stress, 3.61 points in parenting attitude. According to analysis on working stress depending on general demographic characteristics showed significant differences in workplace, monthly weekend duty frequency and in child-rearing stress depending on husband's age, wife's age, total income, marital period, satisfaction at relationship with husband, working career, number of children, and a person who cares for their children. According to parenting attitude depending on general demographic characteristics showed significant differences in working condition, marital period, position, working conditions, marital period, workplace, monthly weekend duty frequency. Correlations among nurses' working stress, child-rearing stress and parenting attitude, nurses' working stress had significantly correlations with parenting stress. Conclusion: Results of the study provides data on nursing interventions to relieve nurses from their working stress and child-rearing stress and to promote favorable child parenting attitude.
