The aim of this paper is to describe a relatively recent international agreement on the widely debated concepts of: (i) attributing effects to low dose radiation exposure situations that have occurred in the past and, (ii) inferring radiation risk to situations that are planned to occur in the future. An important global consensus has been recently achieved on these fundamental issues at the level of the highest international intergovernmental body: the General Assembly of the United Nations. The General Assembly has welcomed with appreciation a scientific report on attributing health effects to radiation exposure and inferring risks that had been prepared the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) following a formal request by the General Assembly.

The study explored the work-life balance of three dual-earning couples using the household economics approach according to the hermeneutics paradigm. Three families were analysed. The couples were interviewed individually with a non-structural interview guide about their work history and life history, and with a semi-structured interview and structured questionnaire about their work hours, childcare practice, husband-wife relation, household income and expenditure, and daily and weekly schedule. The results revealed the different paths and various strategies to adjust work-life balance among the cases. Strategies were discussed to facilitate changes in labor market policy, childcare policy, working place culture and family's daily life planning.

Environmental approach places the focus on a cause-and-effect relationship between the external environments and the internal business conditions. But that approach is an attempt to describe the characteristics of environmental constraints. W.J. Abernathy, K.B. Clark, and A.M. Kantrow attribute the Japanese carmaker's success to superiority in the manufacturing plant, especially in their process systems and work force management. They provide a paradigm for discussions of manufacturing competitiveness comparison. The structure of the paradigm has two main distinctions. The first is the division between analysis and prescription of a macro sort and those of a micro sort, the second is the division between analysis and prescription based on hardware and those based on software.

우리는 지금 수자원관리의 새로운 패러다임을 맞이하고 있다. 이는 수자원과 관련된 환경의 변화 때문일 것이다. 소비자들은 자신들이 원하는 때에 원하는 만큼 물을 확보하고 싶어 하지만 절대적인 수요량의 증가는 이 같은 요구를 충족하지 못하고 있다. 물과 관련된 사회적인 분쟁이 증가하고 있고 결과적으로 수자원정책과 이에 대한 연구가 수자원관리의 가장 중요한 요소로 부각되고 있는 것이다. 우리나라도 최근 수자원정책에 대한 몇 몇 연구가 있었으나 다양성이 강조되어야 하는 정책연구가 지나치게 일정부문에 국한되어 왔다. 본 연구는 우리나라 수자원정책 연구에 대한 평가를 토대로 향후 방향에 대한 제언을 하였다.

사서직의 업무는 도서관의 패러다임이 전환됨에 따라 그 성격이 함께 변한다고 할 수 있다. 즉 전통적인 정보자료 관리중심의 패러다임에서 소장과 접근의 조화를 강조하는 하이브리드형의 절충형 패러다임으로 변하고 있다. 전문도서관의 블루오션을 창출하기 위하여 내 외부적인 환경변화를 SWOT기법으로 분석하고, 합리적인 도서관 운영을 위하여 ERCR 분석을 하였다. 사서업무 영역의 다변화를 조사하기 위하여 대덕연구단지 전문도서관에 근무하는 사서를 대상으로 하였으며, 문헌조사도 병행하였다.

현대행정에서 정부기관들이 GIS를 바탕으로 한 홈페이지를 구축하여 시민들과의 양방향 대화와 열린 행정서비스를 확대하면서 cyber governance와 인터넷 GIS의 접목이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라 기존의 '행정관리를 위한 GIS'는 'cyber governance를 위한 인터넷 GIS'로 전환하고 있고, 미래에는 인터넷 GIS를 토대로 한 cyber governance가 행정관리의 새로운 패러다임이 될 것이므로 이 연구에서는 cyber governance와 GIS의 결합 및 활용방안을 제시함을 목표로 하고자 있다. 이를 위하여 이 연구는 우선 신공공관리 시대에서 cyber governance와 인터넷 GIS의 개념은 정의하고, 둘째로 cyber governance의 속성과 인터넷 GIS의 속성과 양자간의 공통점을 분석하고, 이를 근거로 cyber governance를 위한 인터넷 GIS의 활용방안을 제시하고 있다.

과거 해양자유와 개방적 자원사용 레짐은 오늘날 해양관리와 공유자원관리 레짐으로 변화하였다. 해양생물자원, 해양광물자원, 해양공간, 해로 등 해양자원은 경합성은 강하나 배제성은 약한 공유자원적 특성을 가지기 때문에 이를 방치하면 공유의 비극이 발생하며 따라서 합리적 해양관리가 필요하다. 주요한 국제 해양이슈는 해양오염 연안관리, 해수면상승, 어자원관리, 포경, 해양관할권, 심해저광물자원, 군사적 해양안보, 해적활동, 생태적 환경안보 등이 있으며, 이들에 대한 견고하고 지속적인 정책레짐이 형성되어 왔다. 이 논문은 오늘날 해양패러다임이 변화함에 따라 등장한 국제적 해양환경안전 이슈들과, 이를 해결하기 위한 정책레짐의 형성, 그리고 향후 바람직한 정책레짐 형성과제 등에 대해 국제정치학 또는 국제정책형성론적 시각에서 거시적으로 고찰하는데 그 목적이 있다.
