This study is about the ‘paradigm’ which works as a theoretical base for planning and managing elderly housing. For this purpose, this study surveyed published research works, and analysed the contents and the paradigms of the researches. This is based on the literature survey, and surveyed 66 research works published in the last 8 years. The result of the survey tells us that almost all of the research works done by Korean scholars are based on the rational approach to the design of elderly housing. They emphasize ‘functional rationalism’ ‘technical perfection’ ‘reasonable program’ ‘economy and market’, etc. However, such qualities as‘character of human being’ ‘depth of existence’ ‘identity of culture’ ‘speciality of place’are not emphasized. This means that paradigms used by Korean scholars are biased, and are far from the plural culture characterizing 21 st century. This study, therefore, analysed new paradigms appeared on the recent research works about housing environment, and suggests several new paradigms which would be essential for future planning of elderly housing.

인류의 역사는 재난과 함께한다. 특히 최근 10년간 전 세계적으로 발생한 다양한 자연적·사회적 재난은 그 정도와 속도가 점점 심해지고 빨라지고 있고, 이에 관한 구체적 대응 방안 마련이 필요하다. 최근 발생한 COVID-19 감염병 팬데믹을 겪으면서 우리는 메타재난에 대비하기 위한 새로운 인식이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 국가적 차원에서 재해경감활동관리체계를 갖추고 이를 운용할 전문인력을 양성해야 한다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 메타재난시대 패러다임 전환을 위한 BCMS 분야와 재난관리학의 역할과 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구결과는 향후 재난안전 관련 분야의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

According to the changing environment of management, the concept of the one-to-one marketing is appeared in the environment of management by high Quality that customers needs. In this paradigm, CRM(Customer Relationship Management) offering integrated multiple view points is able to be executed by the advance of Information Technology (IT). In this study, the environment and the management status of the steel company that CRM implemented is analyzed. This study presents the system architecture which applies OLAP(on-line analytical processing), web technologies, and logistics service. Then this research presents a variety of effects and development direction in the future.

Action learning motivates students to solve open-ended problems by 'developing skills through doing'. This paper reviews the concept of action learning and discusses the adoption of action learning approach to teach operations management at universities. It presents the design and delivery of an action-learning course at City University of Hong Kong. The course incorporates classroom lectures, tutorials and an action-learning workshop. The experience gained proves that action learning facilitates student participation and teamwork and provides a venue of accelerating learning where enables students to handle dynamic problem situations more effectively. The paper concludes that adopting action-learning approach can help lecturers to enhance quality teaching in operations management courses, and provide an alternate means of effective paradigm other than traditional classroom teaching and/or computer-based training at universities.

With the energy paradigm shift from supply side management to demand side management, many researches have been done on demand side resource management and demand response. At the same time, Obix, BacNet-WS and OPC-UA are popularly used in buildings and industry energy management system. However, it is not easy to interchange the data and information among the systems cause a variety of protocols are used in buildings and factories. Therefore, in this paper, we are proposing an open business platform not only to integrate and manage the demand resources using various protocols and standards, but also to allow to plug-ins a new business service on top of the platform.

This paper categorized Korean small and medium businesses' global capabilities based on the preceding studies about the global capabilities and then, examined how their global capabilities would affect their competitive advantages and business management performances. As a result of testing the research model, it was found that the small and medium businesses' global capabilities had some significant effects on their competitive advantage (p<.001). On the other hand, the global capabilities had some positive effects on the business management performances and the mediating effects were significant (p>.05), which means that the competitive advantage has some mediating effects on the correlation between the global capabilities and the business management performances. Accordingly it was possible to analyze the correlation between global capabilities of small and medium businesses and their competitive advantage and thereby, provide for an opportunity to shift the paradigm of the global competition strategies.

Corporations are faced with the key strategic task of adopting a comprehensive management system of a new paradigm in order to enhance their products' quality, safety, and reliability, as well as to minimize the cost of quality. The purpose of this paper is to present a methodology that can be used by corporations to ensure a product's reliability, safety, and maintainability, with minimal costs, by measuring dependability levels and conducting DEA analysis. The methodology will be a way for corporations to adopt an optimal dependability management system based on a quality management system of ISO 9001:2000 standards.

The accumulated BMS data have made it easy to make reasonable decision-making for bride maintenance and repair work. In the developing period of BMS, the bridge management was not easy due to the lack of understanding of BMS and low credibility of the data. In recent years, it has been possible to enhance the credibility of the data and to expand the application scopes of BMS with the efforts of Local Road Construction Offices. The reasonable decision making for bridge management can improve the performance of bridges under the practical constraints such as limited budget. It can then result in the reduction of bridge maintenance budget. This study provides the methodology for the application of mobile internet-based KOBMS for bridge management. The data flow for BMS is the most important factor for decision-making on budget allocation, and this study establishes the basic scheme of the data flow for BMS. The implementation of PDA for BMS may suggest a new paradigm of 'Mobile' in the field of construction management.

사회기반시설의 유지관리는 시설물관리(Facility Management)에서 자산관리(Asset Management)로 발전되고 있다. 자산관리를 통하여 인프라의 노후화를 예측하고 사전적 대응을 통하여 고장/붕괴를 방지하고 궁극적으로 유지관리 예산을 절감 할 수 있다. 인프라 자산관리는 엔지니어링 기술뿐 아니라 새로운 패러다임을 수행하기 위한 조직의 변화가 수반되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인프라 자산관리 수행에 있어서 시설물관리 주체가 자산관리를 습득하고 수행하기 위해서 추구해야 할 목표들을 핵심성공요인과 주요평가지표로 분류하여 제안하고 있다. 새로운 업무체계를 위한 조직의 재편은 명확한 변화의 비전과 목표, 그리고 변화 전략이 필요한데 본 논문에서는 기업의 입체적 성과 평가로 넓게 사용되고 있는 균형성과지표(Balanced Scorecard)를 이용하여 조직 발전의 지표로 사용하고자 한다. 성과지표는 폭넓은 자료 분석과 수차례의 전문가 워크샵을 통하여 개발되어 법제도 등의 환경이 갖추어지면 조직에 따른 약간의 사용자화를 통하여 적용이 가능할 것이다. 본 연구는 균형성과지표(BSC) 폭넓은 선행연구 분석 및 국내외 현황 분석을 통하여 신뢰가능 한 균형성과지표(BSC)의 개발과정을 보여주고 있다.

Ubiquitous computing environment accelerates the advent of the IT Ecosystem. In the coming generation, a massive number of ubiquitous devices and services are converged into an ultra-large-scale system. In this context, high degrees of complexity and organization change the paradigm of knowledge and its management levels. The objective of this paper is to explore the Knowledge Management Systems in view of demands in ultra-large-scale systems. We introduce motivation for Next-Generation (NG) usage and their upcoming requirements. The possible applications will be discussed, and summary of different techniques are conducted. The tools and techniques that allow KMS to operate as "Vital Success Enabler" to achieve organizational benefits will be examined. Potential future directions for research are highlighted: these include advances in knowledge capture, storage / retrieval and sharing techniques, in particular with the surrounding role of information technology.
